i've yet to see a good for-newbs tutorial on how to store an offline wallet.. maybe i should do it.

This tutorial LITERALLY spoonfeed this information to the reader well enough that my four year old could do it. Its just a long process when you dont understand some things. Thats why it guides you the ENTIRE way. There is no better method. This one works bar none. It is uncontested. The only way someone could get your password with this method is if you PHYSICALLY gave it to them.

Whats so hard to understand about it?

In attempts to get more of the mainstream involved in bitcoin so the overall success of it continues, I made a graphic that parrots the "do you even lift?" guys. Hopefully it catches on. Do you all have any suggestions as to how I could make it better? Thanks

I have been reading around the internet about ow people's bitcoins are being stolen left and right. I think it has a lot to do with the high influx of new people to bitcoin recently because of all its media attention. What I did was look at different ways to secure your wallet..

Apparently there are apps for this and it can be easy, however this method ENSURES your safety because you do the entire process offline (pass key creation and encryption) and then save your info to a flash drive or wherever you want to store it. The other methods, I believe, run while a network connection is active, which means there is still a possibility of being hacked. This tutorial stops any of that from happening. The only way anyone could EVER get your password is if they literally extorted you for it.

Yes, it is long. Highly effective though. Hope you found this information useful. Here: http://robotmoola.com/cold-storing-bitcoin/

Happy trading Smiley

From what I am reading, the coffee shop that used that new machine for the first time ever in the world did over 10k in transactions (BTC) the first day and over one third of the 81 people who used the machine were completely new to Bit coins. If this trend continues, bit coin could possibly render the dollar useless and it just doesn't make sense to me that the government would allow this to happen because this new decentralized currency threatens the survival of the dollar, doesn't it?

I don't know too much about economics and Im still in college learning how to be a scholar, so could someone please enlighten me? This article was really informative, but now I have way more questions than I started with.  Huh

If you are smart and read up on bitcoins please join this thread. Thanks
