6141  Economy / Gambling / Re: MY WEBSITE help Me QUIT GAMBLING. on: April 13, 2016, 05:22:28 PM
First of all, would like to say, you made a simple but a nice site with functionality (even though it's just for fun). It's sort of similar to the idea (back in the days) that a similar cigarette that had nothing inside of it, and people tried it to stay away from the actual smoking and it had some effect (a little but still a positive one) and I think your gambling site might actually have the same effect too, but a minimal one (unfortunately) since the whole experience is still there and they still get to use it but surely it's better than have a chance of losing money in a real gambling site. Regardless of everything I said, great job Wink

6143  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: April 13, 2016, 07:30:50 AM
I've personally have put aside 1BTCitcoin in which I haven't touched it since few months ago and will wait until the halving to see how much I'll get from it (I bought it at around $230+ value), I'm not after huge profits, just for fun. I earn most of my online earnings through BTCitcoin but keep on spending them right away since that's the only online payment option, that I could use (due to where I live). What your doing (25% of your earning saved into BTCitcoin, is actually a good one and most likely you'll end up profiting good in a long run). My only tip would be to store them in a hardware wallet (due to security risks).
6144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jim Rickards on Why Bitcoin Is a Legitimate Money on: April 13, 2016, 04:34:49 AM
Good points made by Jim Rickards and totally agree in regards to governments edge over others since they could pretty much control everything and make you pay further expenditures but on his last quote, why did he mentioned "BTCitcoin and digital currencies like U$ dollar", since when $ is considered a digital currency?

~Snipped~
IIRC there are some states that already charge taxes for BTCitcoin transactions (unfortunately).
6145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quiting gambling on: April 12, 2016, 04:32:21 PM
Base on your seconds comment, I have to say, occupying yourself with something else, won't do the trick permanently and as soon as your unoccupied, you'll see yourself back in it. Taking Psychotherapy sessions would surely solve it permanently (speaking from a real life experience when I was young and didn't know how to stop it). It took me around two to three months of constant sessions to learn how to react when I'm at one of those scenarios again. I know it's going to be a paid solution, but it will be worth every bit of it.
6146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ALL IN!!?? on: April 12, 2016, 12:04:59 PM
Regarding the first part, Yes I've done the all in move couple of times (real life) and never got to win big (bad luck). The most I've won this way is $20 only (small amount) and the biggest lose was around $150 and that was when, I kissed this behavior a goodbye Wink
6147  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: April 12, 2016, 07:54:16 AM
I'll hold it up until the halving (with the hope of increase in value of BTCitcoin), then I'll start to purchase mining rigs afterwards (with half of it only) and the other half I would hire developers to make a interesting android game or application (not necessarily a BTCitcoin game or application but something that would have greater impact among more users) and hoping it would profit in the long term in case it becomes popular.
6148  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Which Miner would u prefer? on: April 12, 2016, 05:36:28 AM
It has to be an Antminer S7 as well due to it's efficiency. In case you would go ahead and purchase it, make sure to get a fan since they removed a fan for their latest batch but if your going to get a second hand that is from other batches then no problem. There will be new miners that will be more efficient than s7 is at the moment with the new upcoming chip (IIRC it's from bitfury) so maybe it's best to wait at the moment, before you decide to get one.
6149  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: April 12, 2016, 03:39:34 AM
Good points but unfortunately in where I live (Iran), only one merchant accepts BTCitcoin directly and that's a shoe store. I still can't use it on a day to day expenditure since all other indirect options are forbidden as well, mainly due to their nature of being connected to an american brand (AFAIK in cases of most BTCitcoin debit cards that I know), in which automatically restricts me.

6151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Divorce: A Match Made in Heaven? on: April 11, 2016, 02:31:54 PM
I doubt this is actually applicable since nowadays, they monitor all the income (at least in my country) and even if someone decides to hide all of his wealth into BTCitcoin, there will still be evidence of his/her earnings left for judges to check. The only way is as if someone earns BTCitcoin directly, without anyone noticing it (and if the government he is in, doesn't ask as well).
6152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy Bitcoins with SMS/Mobile on: April 11, 2016, 07:24:29 AM
Base on few comments above me, there are actually few websites in which you could directly buy BTCitcoin through SMS only. IIRC most of them charge huge interest rates and won't be worth using but I'll list few down here: (note: I haven't tested any of them due to high rates, so can't tell if their all legit)

https://bit4coin.net/
https://www.bitcoin-services.co.uk/sms-to-bitcoin.php
https://www.coinbase.com/sms_service?locale=en (already mentioned by bitkilo)
http://www.btcforsms.com/ (for following countries only: Poland, Germany, Hungary, Austria)
http://bitby.co/

That's spot on! - I wish to send 'fiat' via sms to a broker/exchange and receive bitcoin in return.... I hope It's still allowed.
Perhaps coinbase would be your best choice.
6153  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: website owners whats is the best ways to earn Bitcoin share your opinion on: April 11, 2016, 05:47:45 AM
I used to have some websites in the past and some failed to be profitable and others were so-so. From my experience, since you'll be starting then don't go with faucets since it takes time to learn how to balance and actually earn profits. A BTCitcoin PTC site needs some expenses for scripts that won't come cheap AFAIK. A forum would be the cheapest and needs lesser time in terms of designing as opposed to a blog. Hosting company is not a good way since there are a lot of competitions out there so in short the best one would be to make a unique and interesting blog that will drive users to engage with it and use ads spaces there in order to earn profits along the way. Lastly don't underestimate power of social networks too so try to be in most used social networks and do link backs to all of them and surely traffic starts coming after some time.
6154  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How I Spent my Sunday - Building Racking on: April 11, 2016, 03:20:38 AM
What's the ambient temperature there? I see behind PSU's it's a window so it would be best to open it and let the air flow in the room for better circulation and cooling (in case your only cooling system is only the electric fan and miners own fan) but if ever you have a cold room due to aircon then not needed so it will have less dust over time. Most home gyms owners don't put aircon on their gym rooms and if your one of them then longevity of those S7's will shorten without proper cooling.

Regarding embedding of the image you posted, you can't since your still a Newbie rank but since Minerkev posted a wrong code, because it isn't just the IMG tag but also something else to the first and last of the link itself, here's the proper code for it:

6155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Know i know how a bitcoin looks like on: April 10, 2016, 06:44:04 PM
Whoever made it,certainly made an amazing fun thing to look at. I think the better title would have been "NOW I COULD SEE BITCOIN TRANSACTIONS" instead. I like it, specially when new block is found, it has good sound effect upon the drop and this certainly has more potential to grow into more visualization if the creator decides to enhance it furthermore. Thanks for sharing Smiley
6156  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: AlpinellaBits.ml - My first Bitcoin Faucet on: April 10, 2016, 03:40:40 PM
Checked your faucet and received the payment with no issue however there are tons of other ad networks that you could try instead of those you tried and also you have plenty of ad spaces to increase ads on your faucet and as result also increase the rewards accordingly when you got enough flow of earnings from ads. Here's a link of other ad networks: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1108616.0
Another thing I notice is that there's also a reward of 400 Satoshi so you should edit the content of this thread and also on your faucet since it only says "Free 100 or 500 satoshi every 30 minutes" and instead should be "Free 100 up to 500 satoshi every 30 minutes".
6157  Economy / Economics / Re: John McAfee (Libertarian Candidate) On Bitcoin And The Economy on: April 10, 2016, 12:37:34 PM
I sort of agree with him one what he said in regards to cryptocurrencies coming and fed will be gone and a strange period will began but what I didn't agree was the fact that he said, it might not be BTCitcoin, but it will be a crypto currency, since IMO the best and only shot for this to happen is as if BTCitcoin succeeds to that level and not any other cryptocurrencies by a long shot.
6158  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis-Mining and Bitcoin reward halving!! on: April 10, 2016, 09:34:33 AM
Not sure if I understood it correctly but in case by "will my Bitcoin mining share still pay out?" you mean will you still get a ROI then the answer is "Yes", just in a less speedy rate than prior to halving. Good point by gkv9, since there's definitely room for profits even though it will be lesser. Those who pay huge rates in electricity as compared to others, are the one's affected with this outcome (no state change besides block reward).
6159  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [NEW] BTRADER.XYZ REWARDS UP TO 1500 SATOSHI EVERY 800 MINUTES on: April 10, 2016, 07:37:20 AM
The faucet is clean and was able to claim however I noticed that after refreshing, the sequence of antibot clicks were exactly the same, maybe try to make it more random and also the reward percentage is very low for 1500 Satoshi rewards since it's every 800 Minutes. Lastly the antibot links are too close to ads shown on your faucet and IIRC, there were some faucet owners that got their ad earnings suspended due to this.
6160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this what we called "addictive to gamble"? on: April 10, 2016, 05:53:15 AM
Is more like a mental illness that in the end, results to addictive behaviors from going back even though the results are pure losses. Psychotherapy and group therapy is the key to solving these types of illnesses or disorders (speaking from experience). I went down that road when I was way younger and almost end up selling most of my belongings just so I could go back the next day and gamble again but eventually I learned how to react with such scenarios.
