6141  Other / Meta / Re: Can I create two service thread? on: July 28, 2019, 07:57:16 PM
According to the rules, it's not allowed:
Quote
12. No duplicate posting in multiple boards (except for re-posting it in the local language boards if it's translated.)
But I've seen some services have threads in multiple boards, for example Freebitco.in have threads both in Micro Earnings and Gambling boards. So, maybe in some occasions exception to this rule can be made. So, before making new thread I suggest you to contact mods to get permission.
6142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 28, 2019, 03:51:43 PM
It was probably craziest race since Malaysia 2009. I waited for such crazy race for so long. Verstappen - he had terrible start, one spin, but then he did everything perfect and made pit stops on the right time. Vettel - from 20th to 2nd place - brilliant driving. Kvyat - he was so lucky to switch to slick tyres on the right time. This race was not about strategy, it was literally gambling - when to make pit stop and what tyres to choose. Leclerc was doing great today, but it was too early to put slick tyres. And what a disaster for Mercedes at home GP. And Hamilton pit stop after crash probably was most chaotic pit stop I've ever seen. And I think that Gasly today lost his spot in Red Bull today - he lost to both Toro Rosso drivers and had terrible race. Wow, so many things happened today and it's shame that we won't see race in Hockeheimring next year.
EDIT Both Alfa Romeo drivers got 30 seconds time penalty and it means that Robert Kubica gets his first point for Williams this season. Wow!
6143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First dental clinic in Budapest to accept bitcoin on: July 27, 2019, 11:17:20 PM
Interesting, I didn't knew about dental tourism in Hungary. It's amazing that people still can save money even after buying flight tickets and accommodation in the hotel.
I looked at prices in article, and I can say that dental care is even cheaper in my country. Strangely, I haven't heard about dental tourism in my country.
Accepting Bitcoins is another positive sign. I don't know how popular Bitcoin payment option will be, but it's always good to have an alternative. I would like to see same thing in my country, but probably it's not going to happen soon. Many dental clinics don't even accept card payments, so it's worth to expect that they will start accepting Bitcoins.
6144  Other / Meta / Re: Make copper membership required for post bounty or airdrop on bounty child board on: July 27, 2019, 10:20:30 PM
Requiring Copper Membership to open thread in Bounties section wouldn't help to reduce number of scammers. I haven't looked at this section recently, but as I remember, most of threads there are started by Copper Newbies or higher ranked members - bounty managers.
Creators of scam ICO's have to spend some money to attract more victims, so these 0.0024 BTC doesn't means much for them. Most of scammers already buying Copper memberships, because they need to enable images on their thread and lift other restrictions - in this way they are trying to make impression of legit project. And they aren't risking to get their account banned because scams aren't moderated and worst thing that they can get is negative trust feedback. And such feedback doesn't mean anything for them, because for next scam project they will use new account.
6145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: July 27, 2019, 07:58:20 PM
What is going on with American national basketball team?
A lot of players have given up from playing for the national team at the World Championships.
Anthony Davis, CJ McCollum, James Harden, Eric Gordon, Tobias Harris, Bradley Beal, Damian Lillard, DeMar DeRozan, Kevin Love and recently Paul Millsap.
It seems that Kyle Lowry is also very close to give up, according to some rumors.
I think that this time Serbia really have good chance to beat USA, what do you think?

National basketball team and World Cup isn't big thing in USA and their stars don't feel duty to play for the national team. Many of these players just want to rest or prepare better for upcoming NBA season. Also, they are probably afraid to get injury while playing for the national team. But I expect that next year in the Olympics we will see most of their stars playing.

Maybe in future India and Pakistan will represent in the FIBA . It is the famous sports but it is not so popular in Sub-continent.
It's not going to happen soon. There is no signs that basketball level in India may improve soon and Pakistan don't even have national team. For me it's a bit strange that country with such huge population like India don't have decent basketball and football teams.
6146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Champions Cup 2019 - Discussion thread on: July 27, 2019, 03:49:45 PM
Oh, I regret that I missed Madrid derby. It's shameful result for Real Madrid. But it's just pre-season game and results doesn't matters. Offcourse, there is worrying signs Real Madrid - we see same problems like in last season. And injuries - Marco Asensio, now Jovic. And guys, I think you need to forget Ronaldo, he isn't going back to Real,
6147  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: July 26, 2019, 09:38:44 PM
I am not sure if posting address is needed or not(?)
19c5ANYqTDgr6T4j3CHQgDoAhi5DkJ9q4s
Thanks!
Offcourse it's not needed. They aren't doing any giveaways now. Maybe 5-6 years ago there was giveaway where they asked to post Bitcoin addresses on this thread. I'm always wondering how people find these old posts about giveway, because I see them posting Bitcoin addresses on Freebitco.in threads quite often
6148  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: July 25, 2019, 09:19:22 PM
i also  had an issue with there system....
But i also faced the problem by contacting there support they answered me after more then 2 weeks to my maiL XD

regards
I can't believe in my eyes! Coinpot customer support answered to email, it's something new. In recent years I haven't saw such thing. Maybe they finally hired someone to respond email messages. Or maybe it's just exception from the rule and you just been very lucky.
6149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: July 25, 2019, 09:13:24 PM
Lot of matches has been played tonight and like always there was some interesting results.
Arsenal (not from London lol) lost to Neftchi at home 0:1, Pyunik Yerevan won against Jablonec 2:1,  Utrecht didn't managed to win against Zrinjski.
Speaking about big clubs (Wolves, Rangers, Strasbourg, Torino) reached comfortbable wins. Only Eintracht had difficult match and won against Flora 2:1 away.
And match of the day is Gent vs Vitorul Constanta which ended 6:3 - 9 goals scored in total! Probably it was fun to watch.
6150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bulgaria Big On Bitcoin As Reserves Could Exceed Its Gold Stash on: July 25, 2019, 09:00:21 PM
Damn, I didn't knew that some countries actually investing in Bitcoins. And 200 000 Bitcoin is huge number, we can call Bulgaria as whales.

Nobody has invested in anything.
It's all related to the 2017 seizure of 200k coins.
https://www.coindesk.com/bulgarian-government-sitting-3-billion-bitcoin

Reheated soup, poor journalism and ...let's see in what mess this thread turns out.

And this article tells that the coins were sold in 2018: https://bitcoinist.com/bulgaria-not-bitcoin-1-6b-finance-minister/

And it 2017 authorities said that they didn't seize any coins: https://emerging-europe.com/news/bulgarias-bitcoin-mystery/

And some suspect that it's a misunderstanding, that comma might have been a decimal separator, so Bulgaria seized only 200 Bitcoins: https://news.bitstarz.com/whats-the-story-behind-bulgarias-missing-bitcoins

Oh shit, I falled into fake news. Actually, I'm a bit disappointed that this story is fake. But yeah, 200 000 Bitcoins probably is too big numbers and there was mistake. Maybe 200 or 2000 Bitcoins would be more close to reality. But still, there are lot of unanswered questions in this story and probably we will never know what really happened there.
6151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: July 25, 2019, 08:37:38 PM
I see that there are many people from Philippies in this thread. I know how passionate about basketball you're, but I don't see how your team can reach next round. Ok, you're probably stronger than Angola, but to reach next round you need to wing against Serbia or Italia, what is hardly possible in my opinion. Anyway, good luck for your team, it would be amazing to see you going further.
6152  Economy / Reputation / Re: Yobit support not responding on: July 25, 2019, 08:24:45 PM
In past I've been in old signature campaign of Yobit, and I can't say that their support was not responsive at all. Offcourse, their support always been terrible, but I remember getting answers several times. Usually I tried to contact dominkerhzog (guy from their staff) via trollbox or PM. If he is still active there, you can try to PM him. I suggest to send message only when he is online - there will be biggest chance that he will respond.
6153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bulgaria Big On Bitcoin As Reserves Could Exceed Its Gold Stash on: July 24, 2019, 10:58:19 PM
Damn, I didn't knew that some countries actually investing in Bitcoins. And 200 000 Bitcoin is huge number, we can call Bulgaria as whales. I hope that they keep all their Bitcoins in a safe place. Gold has been used as reserves for a so long time and Bitcins is much more risky investment. For example, imagine what would happen if someone will hack their wallet and steal all their BTC. It would be disaster. But obviously Bulgaria can make a lot of nice money from this investment. It would be interesting to know at what price they bought most of their BTC.
6154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's hear it from the leaders themselves! on: July 24, 2019, 10:47:00 PM
Good compilation of quotes, it's interesting to read what leaders of various countries had said about Bitcoin.
I'm surprised about Belarus positive stance towards crypto. Their president Lukashenko is known as last dictator in Europe, so for me it's a bit strange that he don't want to ban Bitcoin or something. And yeah, soon they will open nuclear plant which will make much more electricity that they, so using it for Bitcoin mining sound like a perfect business plan Cheesy.
And phrase of Brazil president looks epic. Actually, it represents attitude towards crypto of many countries in a nutshell. And I think that for politician it's better to avoid such phrases. It just shows your ignorance and lack of knowledge. Better say nothing than this.
6155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 744,066 Bitcoin addresses now own at least 1 BTC on: July 24, 2019, 10:30:39 PM
Interesting numbers, but I don't know how reliable this information it. Random twitter user posted chart without any reference from where he took this information.
And even if it's correct number, it's pretty much meaningless stats which don't shows how many people hold more than 1 BTC. Many of these address belongs to exchanges, gambling websites and other crypto services. Also, maybe one person hold 50 BTC (insert number that you like), but he may have divided into multiple addresses. Personally, I also currently don't hold more than 1 Bitcoin in single address.
6156  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] The Official Troll Poll: Vote for Bitcointalk's Biggest Troll! on: July 24, 2019, 09:38:43 PM
I vote for digaran, strange that nobody haven't mentioned him. It was actually fun read his posts and miss him a bit. Lot of current trolls like cryptohunter, game-protect are just so annoying.
It's difficult to select second nominee, because there was/is so many trolls that I can't remember all of them, especially these who are inactive now or used new accounts to troll.
Probably I have to select someone from P&S section - there are quite many crazy people. But it's hard to understand who is trolling and who is just dumb. So, I select KingScorpio.
6157  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: So Coinbase & Blockchain.info were the first web-hosted wallet? on: July 24, 2019, 04:43:39 PM
If I'm correct (since I've never used it) in the old time it was possible to export the private keys. That's why he mentioned it.
They removed this option ~2 years ago when they 'revamped' the wallet and since, it works only for imported wallets IIRC.
It was also possible on Coinbase in the beginning too, they removed it when it started to become a major player
I used Coinbase in past for a long time, and I can't remember such feature on their website. Maybe you confused it with feature to sign message. In past it was possible to sign a message using Coinbase wallet address, but it was silently removed when they revamped website. But private keys always were in control of Coinbase.
6158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: July 24, 2019, 03:51:00 PM
I also can't wait for Basketball World Cup. Seems that this year USA will be vulnerable like never before. So many NBA superstarstars will not arrive to national team - LeBron, Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, DeRozan, Harden and many others. So, I hope that their dominance will end.
Who are main favorites after USA? Serbia they have very talented generation. Greece with Greek Freak. Spain - maybe, but as said above their main players are old already. I would love to see my country Lithuania going far in this competition, but few recent years were difficult for us.
I'm very disappointed that we won't see some strong teamsin World Cup, like EuroBasket champions Slovenia with Luka Doncic, Latvia with Kristaps Porzingis or Croatia. Thank you @FIBA for this shitty qualification system.

I wouldnt agree at all... Actually personally speaking, basketball in Europe has much more to do with the "real" basketball rather than this nba show thing Cheesy
I agree. There is no doubt that there is more talent in NBA, but real basketball played in Europe. In NBA real basketball starts in the playoffs only.
6159  Other / Meta / Re: Thank you administrators for allowing us to exist. on: July 23, 2019, 11:20:56 PM
I agree that Russian board probably need more merit sources. About moderation, everything isn't so simple as you may wish. I have nothing against your suggestion, but if theymos don't see anyone who can become global mod right now or don't see enough demand for, we can't do nothing about it.
They are ukrainian  Grin
Suitable enough!
I don't know Ukrainian, and Russian languages, but based on very close relationship and history of Russia and Ukraine, I think those two languages are almost the same. Or at least Russian can understand what Ukrainian say or write.
I also didn't knew that mods of Russian board is from Ukraine. I understand Russian language well and know a bit of Ukrainian and I can say that these aren't that similar as you can imagine. Majority of Ukrainians knows Russian language perfectly, but most of Russians don't understand Ukrainian language. But that's not case here, both mods of Russian board knows that language perfectly - there is no doubt about it.
6160  Economy / Reputation / Re: Random use of positive (green) trust on: July 23, 2019, 11:03:13 PM
I also can't call this as random use of green trust. This user hired SFR10 and paid him in advance, so there was trade between them. If such feedback would be left to high ranked user, everyone would see it as normal thing. But there is another thing - is it such deals is enough reason to give positive trust? Maybe neutral would be enough? But it's up to every user to decide.
