6141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A very good message about Ripple (XRP) on: December 31, 2017, 01:30:39 PM
I got to see very good msg on Twitter from person named CryptoYoda‏.
This is it...

''I don't want to open another discussion about $XRP really, but it seems necessary. Banks control Ripple. Crypto was created because Banks cannot be trusted. Yet you put your money into $XRP although they control both price and supply? Invest one hour of your life, see the truth.''

I think This is logic. What do you think about his statement?
That's the truth. it seems people are forgetting about the purpose of ripple. ripple just a centralized tech created to pay attention from the bankers. majority of asia bankers are interested in it. Ripple just centralized coin with so many bankers support. It doesn't make sense to replace bitcoin with centralized currency.
6142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zcash forks pumping on: December 31, 2017, 01:28:35 PM
I think it's really reasonable invest only in zcash. about other forks I can't be so confident that they valued and it's a good idea to buy them. but not all forks are unprofitable. recall bcc. but it's rather an exception than the rule

Zcash has the problem of tooo many coins taken by the devs for themselves. This is why competitor coins with less greedy devs are on the rise.
That's right, there are so many people were talking about that, it seems the pre mined token for the developers make a lot of people are feeling scary about that, the developer can dump it anytime. and developers keeps a million worth of zcash. Zclassic with no pre mined could take the zcash's place.
6143  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin reach 40k at the end of 2018? on: December 31, 2017, 05:29:30 AM

Bitcoin could be at $40,000 at the end of 2018. It easily could," Michael Novogratz says on CNBC's "Fast Money
Ethereum, which I think just touched $500 or is getting close, could be triple where it is as well," adds Novogratz, formerly a macro hedge fund manager at Fortress Investment Group.
Michael are forgetting about the fact if the price of bitcoin will increase in the future and then the fees could increase too. How these scenarios are making a lot of people are feeling tired about that. We need real segwit 2x and not fake 2x with unknown developer that already keep 6 million coin for them.
6144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason behind Bitcoin Dip (Crash) on: December 31, 2017, 05:27:56 AM
The main reason is because there has been too much irrational expectation surrounding bitcoin when it reached $20K.
Smart players cash out on other people.
Not sure if that makes those are cashing out their money from the bitcoin but as far as I know that that's caused by the ripple. People are feeling tired caused by the bitcoin transaction fees was pretty ridiculous and then the fact that they are moving to another blockchain especially the latest fork of bitcoin just another scam with big pre mined coin.
6145  Economy / Speculation / Re: Attention! BTC is heading for 8K! on: December 31, 2017, 05:26:01 AM
I had watched a video on youtube yesterday and he said that there is a possibility that bitcoin can go down and reach the 8k mark. By When? I don't know that there is a possibility. If this happens, I expected it and I will not be shocked of it.
it looks a lot of people are moving towards new scalable currency and look at this chart how the fee goes down after the ripple was taking the second place in the cryptocurrency,
https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/
Bitcoin started from nothing and there is a possibility if that worth nothing too.
6146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [RIPPLE] Ripple Beat Ethereum Market Cap on: December 29, 2017, 12:54:21 PM
Well expect more pumps in XRP's price because of the upcoming news to be released,it will be listed into big exchange.

It's on the biggest exchanges

Binance
Bithumb

This is an Asian company, it's doing backend for Alibaba, oh no, that's a 'secret'.

Lol

Ripple is a trusted Asian bank brand.

It's already got the Asian and Indian banking industry tied into it.

It's a big deal in Asia.

Now western investors are buying up to $2.00 what was pennies not long ago.

Anyway, the reason it's so big is it is on all the real exchanges doing most of the trading.

If you think coinbase is 'big' you really need to get out of crypto.

XRP is a monster and it soon takes #1 market cap position.

It's real and in use, unlike Bitcoin.
You have the main point my friends as the banker coin with centralized system and it will be so easy to be manipulated by the bankers. I'm in here to get a real decentralization. If those are hype ripple are looking for the centralization and I still with my choice and that's ethereum. A monster for what?  Shocked
6147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Multiwallet Private keys on: December 29, 2017, 12:50:01 PM
Which wallets support multiple cryptocurrency and will allow one to hold the private keys?
I've heard of Coinomi but I had a great challenge getting ethereum private keys.

Somehow, I find it difficult trusting these wallet providers with my private keys. Anything could happen at any time, you know  Cheesy
Do you even tried this method? https://www.quora.com/How-do-I-export-a-private-key-from-Coinomi Just some simple steps to get your private key from coinomi. But I think that the majority of the multicurrency wallet is not given ability to the users to get their own privatekey.
Because the majority of the companies said that for the safety reason and they are all keeping it.

I suggest you try exodus (you have control your private key) and another one just like jaxx which stored the private key on your device.

Disclaimer: The text below is a personal opinion of the author. If you have a different opinion, please share it

ICO causes more and more distrust - thanks to the scammers. At this point, companies that produce and sell tokens are more focused on the product. The product is being developed and improved. And all before the token sale.

The fact is: those companies that enter the token market with a readymade product are more trustworthy. Now, few people are interested in a company that launches ICO just to make a name and earn a lot of money.

ICO is a serious campaign. It requires great resources and professionalism.

There are many companies on this path. Recently, Pavel Durov announced the creation of a light wallet and the release of the Gram token on the Telegram platform. Here is another example - KickCity, a company that has existed for two years. KickCity is engaged in the development of the event industry and issues a KCY token for further expansion of the company.
I was reading your bold sentence and it seems just another bullshit. Can you give me the more explanation about why was kickcity using the ico to raise the fund? I just know that you are trying to promoting your project rather than open a public discussion about the existence of ico in the future.

Well, since you asked =) KickCity exists for two years and its time to expand. Blockchain and the token economy will let platform to up to the next level. There is the Grant from Helsinki Government but this is not enough. The idea is referral system - users will be promoting events and get reward with cryptocurrency. It will be safer with blockchain.
So, what makes that will be safer with the blockchain? That means kick city was officially supported by the helsinki government? But I'm not sure about the referral system will be working properly. If that needs the more verification to spread the referral system and it will become a good thing but as long as people are still cheating it and it will still become a bad thing.

What makes you feel optimistic about the referral system will be working properly in the future? So many people are spamming their referrals anywhere.
6149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD for small payments, Bitcoin Cash is the FUTURE on: December 28, 2017, 01:06:49 PM
Bitcon Cash is not the answer to scalability problems.
The only thing that bch does different is different blocksize.
It has already been proven over and over again that it won't make a dent in the scalability problem if bch sees btc's amount of user base.

On top of that, bch is just flat out scammy as hell.
The main developers are trying their best to strong arm people into seeing bch as the "real" bitcoin.
Using posts such as this one and fud to drive prices up.
Joining powers with whales to make mass manipulations of the marketplace.

In the end, the one that will make decentralized crypto mainstream and usable on a daily basis, will probably not even be bitcoin or any of it's forks at all.
But a next evolution in the blockchain.
Heck, btc's tech is already 10 years old, something better will replace it, and that is not bch.
Interesting post. Which crypto-currency do you think as the best value and is the most adapted to current needs when it comes to everyday anonymous transactions? Monero? Or perhaps Verge (XVG)?
Monero comes to the privacy coin, it will not the same as the bitcoin cash. But ripple and DAG system may offers a better scalability than the actual coin that used the blockchain as the main network. remember DAG cost zero fees and ripple with its instant transaction. We are not seriously need anonymous transaction when all of the thing still encrypted by Hash algorithm.
6150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think $ADA will explode on: December 28, 2017, 01:03:43 PM
You guys heard it here first.

I have good reason to believe $ADA will go over $1 in the coming months. This is based on the Bartosystem Trading Corporation ultimate crystal ball technology.

Posting this for reference in a few months time. But contrary to John McAfee I will not eat my own D if I'm wrong, but if I'm wrong I'll be losing good $ cuz that's where my money is right now.
$1 looks real for ada and i'm not feeling doubt about that. But I just looking for how the platform will work. I that will be using the same code just like smartcontract and then why are we need a lot of the same code at the same time? but it looks become a good thing to invest right now. If the marketcap will be more than 10 trillion and it may worth more than $1
6151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to convert ETH into BTC? on: December 28, 2017, 01:01:06 PM
hellow bitcointalk.
i have some ETH into myetherwallet and i want to convert them into btc.so how can indo that?
And how many transaction fees need for that?
Go to this link and then you can try to choose the reliable exchange site for yourself. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/#markets
I suggest you to use binance because that gives a limit to the new registrant. And then send all of your ethereum to the ether address that you have been generated in the exchange site itself. it just take some minutes until your ether will be deposited into your account.
6152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New project - whitepaper or code first? on: December 27, 2017, 01:09:05 PM
In the case a new project is developed, what is more important in terms of success, user adoption - a good whitepaper, marketing and ICO, or something working on github? I understand that probably both, but let's assume someone has limited resources.
Code should be the first for the expert, but if you can't understand about that and it seems the whitepaper can be considered as another important thing too. To consider about how the business plan that already explained in the whitepaper. But code is everything right now. You can tell someone who understood about that to make analyze to the code.

6154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is DOGE pumping? on: December 27, 2017, 01:01:07 PM
DOGE is just a shit coin that being pumped for the meme.. nothing new being developed for the coin.
You will never see anything again related to the dogecoin development because the developers have tried to make another new coin rather than try to make another improvement for doge. This coin has unlimited supply which mean there will be more and more doge fill the market. Seems just like a real memecoin.
6155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think BCH will replace BTC in the future? on: December 24, 2017, 01:51:44 PM
Less transaction fees and same amount as BTC... why not Grin

I do not believe that BCH will be able to replace BTC, because it was created only to correct the cost of bitcoin and will not have such huge popularity. Although for some time it will be possible to earn it.

BCH is good for some reason but I don’t believe that it will replace bitcoin, it will never happen. Bitcoin will continue to lead altcoins and be ready because it will soar higher, and more people will enjoy it.
That's FUD to make the newcomers are feeling panic and then move to the bitcoin cash. You can see how many Roger try to make a bullshit press about the bitcoin cash to replace the real bitcoin or block stream bitcoin.
They are all hating the bitcoin original. That's why you don't need to get it seriously.
6156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to Crypto on: December 24, 2017, 01:48:38 PM
Before investing in some altcoins i should do some research. I will: read the whitepaper, see if the developers are good(how experienced they are and searching them on linkedin), see if they site is good, whatch the graphs and see if the coin is growing, see if the coin have some good sponsor, understand why this coin is different from others. What else should i search before buying an altcoin?
The community support, the roadmap of the project and you should be known about the development progress of the project and the critical thing you must get a very good rumour to give you the more fundamental aspects of buying such altcoin that makes you interested with it. You may need to learn more
6157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins as CFDs? on: December 24, 2017, 01:46:05 PM
Are there any SpreadBetting brokers out there with Altcoin CFDs? Would this project work? I would have thought it would need a very brave market maker to get on board with such a volatile space... https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/alty-exchange-trade-bitcoin-alternatives-easily#/
About that and you can try to see coindash project because the coindash platform was offering cfd trade just like etoro for the cryptocurrency. I think that the platform could be lived but don't know anymore about the recent update about the platform you may need to join the social chat group to get further information.
6158  Economy / Economics / Re: When is the right time to buy bitcoin ? on: December 24, 2017, 01:21:18 PM
Currently the bitcoin price drops up to $ 13500, and I think it's a good time to buy bitcoin, as happened at the end of last year, I still remember the bitcoin price of $ 1200 early December, then the end of $ 820 bucket and Janan up and looks stable at $ 1100.
These days a lot of people are on their holidays. Buy bitcoin just like a golden opportunity today. But some people are still thinking about the recent price of bitcoin to reflect the market becomes untrust with the bitcoin.
It looks the price will be stable around 13k until some days later.
6159  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you should worry this is a bubble on: December 23, 2017, 12:42:40 PM
I agree that the price of bitcoin has been increasing too much at the last few months, it is not healthy for the coin, and true bitcoin believers should be worried about it.

If the price of bitcoin will burst with all the people inside, it may cause a lot of people to lose faith in bitcoin and may prevent it from being a global currency as we all drum about.
The price of bitcoin is increasing regularly from some time but it doesn’t mean that bitcoin is like a bubble. If the price of bitcoin is regularly increasing then it must have reasons and yes it is having many reasons which are its properties, demand and benefits etc.

If we keep an eye on the development of bitcoin then I think that bitcoin can maintain its position for a long period of time. Moreover it will revel with time.
If you don't know properly about the definition of the bubble and you may need to learn the more about that. The bubble mean the possible flash jump and down. as you can see how the market reaction yesterday which tells a lot of the crypto users. The flash crash was happening.
6160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: December 22, 2017, 02:16:38 PM
In the next year ETH will overtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency.  I would unload your bitcoin while you still can.
It will be possible in my opinion as ethereum each the currency that already raised a lot of transaction in the crypto. But the important thing about the bitcoin just like rule in the crypto and every altcoin pegged with it. until ethereum will stand with its own value and it will not happen.
