6143  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why socialism? on: August 12, 2016, 04:25:02 AM
Why is  the left pushing the idea of socialism/comunism so much even tho it showed that it doesn't work many times in the past?

Because it is an easy form of populism.  In the end they are just trying to get votes. Looking back in history we see that socialism is not working. Taking private ownership away and forcing everybody to be the same, makes people lazy. It is attractive to get money from the rich people.
6144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for a good cause on: August 12, 2016, 04:19:01 AM
I see most raffle do this in picking their winners so I suggest you could pick the winner based from a hash of a bitcoin block that sounds fair to everyone.

The problem with raffles is legitimacy. In cs go there were a lot of these raffle pages offering rigged games all day. It looked fair from the beginning but in the end they just picked friends as winners.

You need full transparency in my opinion for this to work.
6145  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: August 12, 2016, 04:13:39 AM
No way, no chance we need real currency in order for decentralized currency to work

Also with another recent bitcoin exchange hack is the trust of people into bitcoin security limited. We need a longer time period of stable prices for bitcoins to be seen more valuable again.
6146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: August 12, 2016, 04:11:01 AM
It works, but not for you, it is for the house to get more profit... Cheesy

As all people know, house will a little advantage against with players even in a 50% game (like Sic Bo, when you bet big / small)...
therefore, more games you played, you are most likely to result with a loss...

The casinos are getting so rich on this martingale strategies. You need a large bankroll to survive a long streak of bad beats. But the larger your bankroll the smaller your % winnings. In the end it is just not worth the risk.
6147  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: August 11, 2016, 05:07:55 PM
Hello
Well everyone wants to stay anonymous in the pornland. Whether its surfing tube sites or downloading the latest releases from subscriptions. I think Bitcoin and porn are a perfect match. This will cause impact on the market as well and could cause an increase in demand for bitcoin acceptance in the general marketplace.
it's mostly anonymous, but you'd have to use a mixer or something if you wanted to actually have some anonymity when it comes down to it. Sending from a main wallet would just result in you giving out your wallet information, and then anyone who wanted to track you could. It would have an... interesting impact on the market, but overall you're probably looking at something like mediocre acceptance.

I think the porn industry is just looking at other sectors like gaming and see that there is a new good way for online payments.

On the other hand people who like bitcoins are probably not paying for porn.
6148  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin has power nowadays ? on: August 11, 2016, 04:07:59 PM
The reason behind the power of bitcoin is it's advantages and facilities that bitcoin give to their users, The first thing that attract people towards bitcoin is their price and stability, due to bitcoin's stability too many people are investing their money in bitcoin.

I agree. Bitcoins have a lot of power because they are also the first major crypto currency.

Once the prices get more stable there will be more and more people moving into bitcoins.
6149  Economy / Lending / Re: I need 2 BTC loan immediately!! on: August 11, 2016, 04:03:46 PM
Hello,

i am really in the need of 2 bitcoins as soon as possible. I don't have any domains, e-wallets or altcoins, but i'm willing to offer anything the lender wants to proceed with this transaction. I have 2 credit cards (balance: 2000 EUR and 5000 EUR) and i can give you photos of both sides as assurance. I can also provide you ID photos, address documentation, telephone number or anything else to be sure that i'm not a scammer.

Please help! I can return the whole amount in 7 days! Interest rate is negotiable

2 BTC is really a huge sum, especially for a newbie account.

I recommend you to start with smaller sizes and earn some green trust first.

Is the loan really urgent? Maybe just go in overdraft on your bank account and buy the BTCs with Fiat?
6150  Other / Off-topic / Re: What % of your Assets is Bitcoin? on: August 11, 2016, 04:01:21 PM
my bitocin hold is under 10% is my asset
because every profit trading bitcoin altcoin iam always is saving fiat money in my rec bank
i have in bitcoins something like 10 per cent either, in my opinion i will be putting only more money into it in the future because it allows me to benefit

Same here. 10% is a good start in my opinion. I am slowly Building up my Bitcoins with a target of 20-30%.
6151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: LUCK!!! :) How does it feels? on: August 11, 2016, 03:53:59 PM
well i think everyone who's ever gambled before became lucky at a certain point. and yes the feeling is very good that you want to have another go hoping to be lucky again. that is what makes gambling fun because you don't know when luck will smile at you. it's disappointing if you don't win but the feeling when you win is worth it

that's the risk we have to accept, when gambling. Gambling is not to find an advantage, but is used only for entertainment. All the people who suffered the defeat of 99.99% because they are too greedy for profit or they want to win big in a short time
At start gambling seems entertaining, later it goes on greedy. It is not only entertainment, it is also thinking through human conflicts and contradictions.

In your mind gambling and Entertainment are linked, especially if you are winning. Once you start losing gambling becomes horrible but you won't remember it the next days. You brain focuses on the winning instead of the losing. That is why so many People are coming back to gambling even after losing a lot of Money.
6152  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will this rise hold? on: August 11, 2016, 12:55:19 PM
of course the new price growth will gold because it wont be just a pump
yeah, the price is going to be holding in the future, in my opinion the price of the bitcoin is going to grow only and besides that i think that we will only be making profit

I think so too, the bitcoin price will keep slowly rising again. I am pretty sure at year end we will have higher levels.
6153  Economy / Economics / Re: Is buying bitcoins the same as buying stocks in stock market? on: August 11, 2016, 12:51:35 PM
I'm just curious, are they just the same?

It is not the same. Bitcoins are a currency like fiat. Stocks give you ownership in a company. You are entitled to dividends as a stock holder. You don't get any income by just holding bitcoins, except for the price increases of course.
6154  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: August 11, 2016, 12:43:45 PM
Summer 2012. Diablo 3. I bought in game gold with bitcoin @ $3/btc - Spent 90 coins for 500 million in game gold.

IGG = 35 cents / million now.

I lose.

/wrist

At least you were involved with bitcoins when the price was low. My biggest mistake was not getting into bitcoins much earlier.
6155  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: August 11, 2016, 05:03:29 AM
Yes I still believe in Bitcoin.and I think we should  have motivate  with people to believe on bitcoin and it will be more benificial for our  further.
yeah agree more and more people using bitcoin, and then believe in bitcoin I'm sure bitcoin will become bigger and growing.
if bitcoin is growing, then the price will also follow. as well as the long life of bitcoin will be added Cheesy

Same here, I still believe in Bitcoins. I wouldn't store my money in a currency I don't trust. I am buying more instead of selling my coins now.
6156  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Olympic games should be abolished on: August 11, 2016, 05:01:26 AM
They're like war, really. Only without guns. Sport isn't nation against nation, it's athletes against other athletes. Let the best guys win, and let's forget the stupid, stinking, blood-tainted flags behind them.

It maybe is like war but the number of People dying is fairly small compared to a real war. Better a war in the sports Arena then in any city. Olympic games are around for so long, why end this Tradition now?
6157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: August 11, 2016, 04:56:36 AM
I am make big mistake when i am so greedy so i lose my 0.1 btc when playing dice game
Whereas before i lose i have made good profits and lose it all when i am greedy
I wont do this stupid thing again
you promised will not do it again now , but i believe you will do same mistake later.

it has been a something unique that human have , swearing but violated . especially when you talking about gambling , there will never end. the biggest mistake in your life are repeating same mistake over and over again.

Thats the main thing that most addicted gamblers doing, they just keeping playing  even how many they said that they wont ever play again after suffering from losses.  Greediness is also a bad thing which could  make you end up on nothing, if you see that you are winning you dont have control to yourself and stay betting but in the end you lose all your winnings  same as your capital.
you were right , for those people who say will never gamble again but in fact they still did it or even worse they are the real addicted gambler which need helps , they did not realize they are addicted already .

and if so , the real mistake you can make in gambling are become an addict .

I think a real gambling addiction you don't really notice until it's too late. It is always good to Keep your loses in mind and to gamble reasonable.

but what you do is not fair for users who visit your site and ads and entering captcha without any rewards
Yeah, this is pretty much my only complaint with the system. Other sites can detect red ips as soon as I go there, but it's real disappointing to fill out captcha and get nothing.

I started to use only a few faucet sites because of the bad ones around. Also take a look at faucetbox.com there is a good list of active working faucets.
