6141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why was Musk so late to the party? / or Publically support BTC on: February 10, 2021, 08:18:52 AM
Well it's nice to see that the richest man on earth supports crypto but he is and will be an eccentric billionaire. Now he thinks that crypto is hot but who knows how he thinks about this in a few months.

Let's hope he will be into crypto for a long time and not that he dumps everything when he got bored.

The funny thing about his actual business (Tesla and not others like SpaceX) is that it's actually not really doing as well as it should. He hasn't produced a lot of cars, in fact production has always had problems and not meeting the supply limits, and always behind on schedule. Yet the stocks keep on getting higher and higher. Big bubble:) Maybe he is putting all the profits in BTC and hoping what he makes from there can help expand.
6142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will reach 100K! OK and then? on: February 09, 2021, 03:55:40 PM
We're almost at 50000 now. Impossible number to consider even back in November right guys? And now we need it only to double to get 100k. The dream figure majority of Bitcoiners themselves said was impossible this year.

But just prepare for the violent pullback! It won't spell the end for BTC but weakhands will let go;)

You should read Post above you , The person you mentioned already Apologize for His Laziness yet you called him out ?

I wasn't calling him out, I was adding more meat to why not ADA or <insert any other alt>. I'm an investor, so I can have my say, sorry to offend your sensitivities:)

Let's not be... bitter, shall we, bitterguy? Tongue

And as I was saying yesterday, BTC ATH and keeps climbing. Doge not going anywhere. Time to put in some big investments?
6144  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Elon Musk/Tesla buys $1.5 billion in bitcoin, creates another hype for Bitcoin on: February 09, 2021, 12:41:37 PM
It's not "his" Bitcoin though it's Tesla's and that decision has to come not just from him but the entire board of directors, so that means it was a collective company decision, probably of course led by him.

And investors can always choose to pull out like they did temporarily with Microstrategy. Tesla stocks rising seems to say they aren't?
6145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: February 09, 2021, 12:05:21 PM
That's some really important two points lost by Atletico Madrid, that at least would give Barcelona some sort of hope over the title race. The match was quite even and either team really could have won it, but Celta Vigo got a duly deserved point.

Still feel happy personally every time I see Suarez score and bags himself two goals now, how many matches has he won for them already, with or without goals and assists? Miss him so much, but yeah, he helps his team AND he helps Barca by giving them hope hahahaha...

Anyway, things look better each week now, but I'm still not yet getting hopes up for La Liga.
6146  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Earning cryptocurrency on your own website on: February 09, 2021, 10:57:53 AM
as far as I know, Coinzilla is very selective with the website that they will accept.
I've submitted my website since a few years ago, got rejected a few times.
and finally, I got accepted a few hours ago  Grin
contacted by the team itself by email, you will need to show some stats from google analytics and google search console.

so, since I am a new publisher there, can you link me to the rumors that you mention above?

Interesting TedMosby! But if you've been trying a few times and finally got approved, then what changed? I generally thought those sites that run pages need more publishers, but if they were able to reject you several times, it means the supply has really dropped over the years. I wonder also how the payments thresholds have become now BTC is almost 50k...
6147  Economy / Speculation / Re: Apple is buying Bitcoin on: February 09, 2021, 10:26:03 AM
First Paypal, now Apple, soon every other wallet is going to be adding BTC but the question for me will always be, if it's not a real Bitcoin wallet, then why should anyone bother? Paypal I get it, for US people hard to buy Bitcoin but apple users are probably already paypal users, right? Or am I missing something here.
6148  Economy / Gambling / Re: Tru.Bet - A Peer to Peer Sportsbet Exchange on: February 09, 2021, 08:46:49 AM
Good luck, I personally think p2p sports betting needs to be a thing in the future but yeah I have to agree 3% is really, really steep. You should think about lowering it to below 1% if not even promoting 0 commissions up until you attract players and get up to speed on liquidity issues. How do you prevent KYC btw? You may not have a choice later...
6149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: February 09, 2021, 08:13:21 AM
Its nice now you have another place for gambling talk but here we mostly talk about MultiMaster not other stuff if you want to talk about tennis then surely you can join here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1200104.0 because its all about tennis and here in this thread all about MultiMaster is good enough.

Yeah I know that thread but it's worse than the huge premier league thread in terms of shitposters, unfortunately:)

Looks like you won the Djoko special, I'd have taken it but was started before I even sipped my coffee haha. That was a really, really good value special for a 3:0 and highest aces! Looks like he didn't even break sweat from the stats!

Actually it was to win straight sets, no tie breaks and highest Aces in every set! It was 3:1, 3:2, and 3:0 in terms of Aces so yes, it was very nearly not hit. But very good win in the end. I think I haven't won that big in tennis for a really long time (parlays almost never work out).
6150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Government Rules Mean No More Gambling Sponsorship on: February 08, 2021, 03:57:37 PM
That's not good news at all, I mean I understand all the problems and the need to tax and all that but surely they have to understand now that the situation with sponsorships is not healthy. There's no money anywhere and in some cases sports has been saved my last minute sponsorships from gambling companies. You shouldn't just make drastic decisions like this.
6151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you had $10k and needed to turn it into $1m by End of 2021 or you get shot... on: February 08, 2021, 02:39:12 PM
If I really were that desperate I would just go and try all-in on a casino to double the money twice. Meaning 2x and 2x again if I win. I don't know though, if faced with that kind of life or death situation I don't see banano or any other crapcoin saving my life.

That would be such a story though!
6152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Dominance increases again and what happened to altcoin? on: February 08, 2021, 12:43:31 PM
don't see the upward movement of the btc dominance it only increased 1% from the previous and today it fell back to 59%.
So you can't see the price of BTC going up because its dominance is still low.
and if some time in the future it is still down, then the opportunity for altcoins to go up will be even greater.

Patience, surely you must have learned to be patient by now right? This is Bitcoin, where 90% of the time is spent below the highs, and new ATHs are very rare in between. We're still in a rally now in case you forgot, with many times where corrections and retracements are allowed to happen before each new step up.
6153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 20 days for Bitcoin on: February 08, 2021, 12:08:42 PM
^ Actually I also track it in my local currency and already in 2020 we saw that the lowest selling price for 1 BTC is even beyond the daily limit possible for some local bank account transfers. Meaning now if you want to sell 1 BTC you have to do it for 2 sellers minimum and over two days. Crazy crazy days and banks will soon be marking people like this as Bitcoin sellers;)
6154  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: February 08, 2021, 10:43:24 AM
Bitcoin couldn't hold on to the 40k now but I think it's only a matter of time before it tries and succeeds once more. Bankroll for BTC has not been this low for as long as I can remember, so people I guess are also holding off on investment until they know price is stable again. Doge still looking fantastic for gamblers? Anyone thinking we're going to get a good run on investment this year?
6155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: February 08, 2021, 10:09:18 AM
Hey everyone. I actually look at this thread title almost everyday but I thought this was just another discussion thread for Sportsbet, which I do visit daily (or almost daily). Never thought to really open it and read it through but it seems I just found yet another place for you SB crazies to talk shop. This is just for MultiMaster only or do you guys also discuss all the other specials?

I just bet on the Djokovic special 15.0 for straight win and highest aces. Sure bet, right? Leading 5-3 in first set so far!
6156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OK BITCOINERS, which one of you is this? on: February 08, 2021, 08:59:23 AM
Doubt this guy even comes to the forum, he might be on reddit but I think I see a lot of so-called crypto traders and drug users come online on gambling chats to talk smack before actually going out and doing those things;) I mean, plenty of people doing stuff but few ever come online to talk about it, but if they do, they're doing it in chat!
6157  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: February 08, 2021, 08:19:09 AM
Tom Brady MVP and Bucs did a supreme win. I don't think anyone would have called 0-0 in the last quarter though, seems Chiefs just gave up and Bucs just held on for the win. This says it all:)

This might start me following NFL every now and then:)
6158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: DeFi is high risk, caution! on: February 07, 2021, 04:05:51 PM
And my decision to stay as far away as possible from Defi again proves to be wise. I know people are bragging left and right about 10x yields in a few weeks and moving it all around to make even more from every network and possible farming strategy but it's a dangerous game to play when you risk losing everything to hacks and exit scams. And they're happening too much for my liking. When will people learn?

Great plan for Lightning Network and I think the idea to charge a deposit fee for dust deposits should definitely go ahead. Most exchanges anyway have two conditions for small deposits: less than a certain amount and you won't get credited. Less than a second small certain amount and you get charged a fee (for consolidation).

I guess it will be strange to consider anything less than 10000 satoshi as dust now that it's $4 but that's the price of high-value Bitcoin!
6160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BINANCE will delist these 4 coins! Check it out! on: February 07, 2021, 11:25:19 AM
The alternative but true headline should be: these 4 coins paid us a listing fee to be listed (but we officially do not charge such a thing) and now they finally stopped paying us plus nobody trades them so we earn very little or no commission from them, so we have moved on. As soon as they pay us again we will list them;)
