6161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to check if ICO is scam or not? on: February 26, 2019, 04:00:48 AM
Here are few: anonymous tean, unbelievable bonuses, Promises that their token will reach this much value, no MVP (minimum viable product).
6162  Other / Meta / Re: Upgrade Security System on: February 26, 2019, 03:47:52 AM
I think if you have to use a strong password So hacking the account is not so easy, But you need to know the common issues for using the Internet.

How can I use a strong password?

Ans: first use 4digit any name first Capital later and then small later (ex: Apem), then secondly use 4disit number(ex: 1234), lastly use 4digit special character (ex: @#$%), You need to have a password (ex: Apem1234@#$%)
It is almost impossible to hack your password If you are cautious.

Or may be just use some secure password manager. I agree with op's suggestion too, 2fa would provide additional security.

When UBI ?  >-<

It may go live as proof of concept next month, doing decentralized kyc is quite complicated, so product will go through multiple iterations before finalization.

Hey, they might be not online on social media channels but who knows if they have real-life connections!?
offline connection ?? don't expect too much, if it's true they have an offline connection of course they will also be active at least informing online investors not to run away like now Wink

yes you are right, if they are active in real life they should be able to take a minute to provide the latest information. but in reality, they seemed to disappear.

Actually, one of the team members showed up few days ago, after saying 'Hello' he disappeared again lol
6165  Other / Meta / Re: New collection of badges for self-made users on: February 26, 2019, 03:33:11 AM
Self made Full/senior/hero members after merit system implementation, are no less than super humans to me. Good job bud!
6166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to ICO if....... on: February 25, 2019, 05:41:31 AM
They will exit the market probably, already many of last year's ICO are picking their bags up, their $1M investments are $100K lol.
6167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next-Gen Blockchains are Fee-less on: February 25, 2019, 05:39:47 AM
Outdated blockchains that currently charge fee’s per transactions are to be left in the dust as new concepts that allow for fee-less transactions come to light. Get ready to indulge information that is sure to enlighten you.

https://medium.com/@scroda/next-gen-blockchains-are-fee-less-8eebf7f67947

It is to note that some blockchains have attempted to provide fee-less transactions but in reality just hiding the fee’s elsewhere, either by making you pay for it at home or making others pay it for you, in which both aren’t a healthy practice.

Update:

These days obtaining privacy is costly with tumblers charging anywhere from 1-5% of the funds being tumbled, yes that is a really big cut. Monero also charges for privacy in where users pay more for every other person included in the mixin of their funds. Tumblers and privacy coins leave you with a pretty big bill, while still failling to offer your 100% privacy.

Is it worth paying for privacy while your transactions can still be linked back to each other? No. Should you be paying for privacy in the first place when privacy is a given right in the USA under the fourth amendment? No.

Scroda aims to offer its users 100% privacy completly free, eliminating the need of having to pay thousands and thousands of dollars on privacy alone.

Crypto transaction with no fee? will that really possible?
Then who will pay for the network fee or the fee that should be provided for miners? what i know that what make things moving in crypto currency is one of them are those miners, they makes the transaction possible to be done.
Most fee-less blockchains are POS/DPOS where holder's stake determines it's influence. There are witnesses who solve the blocks and get rewarded for doing so, your influence on particular platform determines those witnesses rank.

EOS/Tron/Steen these are some examples.
6168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future for cryptocurrency? on: February 25, 2019, 05:36:09 AM
About second point, not all cryptocurrency transactions are public rather they are pseudo anonymous.
6169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Courage for cryptocurrency participants on: February 25, 2019, 05:32:04 AM
This is why I always do my own research and make investments, when you take someone else's advise you tend to blame them if something goes wrong, while here you have only yourself to blame, and also it makes you independent.
6170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where do we go from here on: February 25, 2019, 05:29:43 AM
What works for me is, go for long term rather than getting driven by these small term volatility, you will get peace of mind.
6171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH cross $200 this week? on: February 25, 2019, 05:28:09 AM
..and here it dumps, this small pump was because of Bitcoin pump and that constantinople hard fork also played some role, after this upgrade is over it'll probably dump more.
6172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Change of strategy on: February 25, 2019, 05:25:31 AM
When market is bullish every average Joe makes profit, I used to think myself as an expert when making good profit by buying just any coin (2017).
6173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you comfort yourself after receiving token from the bounty program? on: February 24, 2019, 04:02:24 AM
It doesn't work like that (at least for me), tokens value usually drops down once it hits the exchanges, your 200$ would be 20$ on exchange price lol
6174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Wallet Security - Help! on: February 24, 2019, 03:59:43 AM
Buying hardware wallet would be the best option as it secures you from all types of online threats, regarding backing up hardware wallet seed you can use bank locker or something like that, if you want full security then remember few seed words in your head, don't write everything down, so even if someone gets your paper written with seed it won't cause any harm.
6175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are altcoins backed by? on: February 24, 2019, 03:50:52 AM
They are backed by community, price gets decided by the what buyers are willing to pay. That's why they say, buy coins which has community behind it, it's community which gives value.
6176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe the crypto market will never take off! on: February 24, 2019, 03:47:04 AM
Here is the thing, no matter how hard market has hit me so far, not even for a once I have lost faith that market will recover.
6177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO makes me sick on: February 24, 2019, 03:42:03 AM
There are many community based projects that do a lot better than ICOs without raising money. Money corrupts people, I am yet to see an ICO project that lasts for a while.
6178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding EOS? on: February 24, 2019, 03:36:50 AM
I just have EOS account, I created it because murmur dapp was giving away for free, other than some resources in it no I don't hold any EOS.

I hold ENU though, it's forked from EOS with the goal of providing UBI to every human being.
6179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto politcs bad for the Blockchain industry? on: February 23, 2019, 02:49:35 AM
Here is the thing, two polar opposites makes the existence possible, so without the negatives, positives can't exist, it's all good for Blockchain industry.
6180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins With Low Trading Volume? on: February 23, 2019, 02:47:13 AM
It's not bad, it's just that it is not that well known to traders/investors, some of these low volume altcoins turn out to be scams and some the next big thing. A worthy gamble!
