Any of you actually got a team you like at this stage?
I like Suduva, mainly because it;s club from my country. In Champions league they were very close to kick outCrvena Zvezda, but wasted chances to score in first match cost them place in the next round. Clubs from my country never played in Champions/Europa league group stage, but I hope that Suduva finally will reach it. Today they will play against Tre Penne from San Marino, which shouldn't be difficult opponent.
6162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CryptoNinja.co - 2019 Fantasy Football Contest - with added bonuses! on: July 22, 2019, 10:27:45 PM
It's interesting idea to store league funds in platform to gain interest. But I'm afraid that most people here are sceptical about such platforms. Even if it's legit, not everyone wants to leave their money on such website for quite long period of time. I think that most people would prefer to have trusted escrow hired to hold money and escrow fee isn't an issue.
Personally, I wouldn't be interested in this league because I know nothing about American football and I've never played in any fantasy league. But I hope that you will find some people who might be interested.
6163  Economy / Reputation / Re: For how much money heroes and legends are willing to advertise fraud and scam? on: July 22, 2019, 04:34:23 PM
I think that we had enough discussions about Livecoin issue, there is no need to make another topic. It's up to every person to decide, is it ethical to advertise services which have not ressolved scam accusations against them. And actually, here on Bitcointalk we saw plenty of worse and more shady websites advertised than Livecoin and there wasn't so much dram about that.
And I can rephrase your question - for how much money Newbies and Jr. Members are willing to advertise fraudand scam? Because often they are promoting things like scam ICO's basically for free. Is it something better?
6164  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: BitcoinTalk's 2019 Premier League and Champions League Pool Sign Up Thread on: July 22, 2019, 11:24:48 AM
Yeah, last year we had 30 participants, but as remember, quite many of them stopped playing after some time, so, probably they aren't interested to join this year. At the end of the season we had only less than 20 active players.
But from what I see, there are lot of people in gambling discussion board who have good knowledge in football and might be interested to join. I'm sure that we still can get 30 participants.
6165  Economy / Reputation / Re: Hhampuz a DT member is Abusing the trust system? on: July 21, 2019, 10:21:43 PM

And maybe yahoo62278 and DarkStar_ abusing something too, because they blacklisted all Livecoin participants from their campaigns?

That would be incorrect, we are not taking away anyone's freedom of choice. Users are free to join any campaign they want. We just will not work with those users and that's OUR choice.

All of you have a chance to be trustworthy users with morals, or you can choose to chase the money. Your decisions show your character and the type of person you are. Your decisions also show me if I want to work with you or not. No abuse is happening by me.
I agree and I think it's better decision than tag Livecoin participants.
I just thought that's a bit strange that OP didn't said nothing against you both. Following his logic you also had to blacklist participants of Sportsbet, Bitcasino, Yobit, Betcoin and some other campaigns.
6166  Economy / Reputation / Re: Hhampuz a DT member is Abusing the trust system? on: July 21, 2019, 11:33:41 AM
First of all, Hhampuz asked to be removed from DT2. If he he would be removed from it, it would make all his tags meaningless. Personally I don't agree with his decision to tag Livecoin participants, but I can't call this as trust system abuse. Maybe you can call this as double standarts or something, but it's not trust abuse. You know what is trust abuse? It's something what game-protect did, he left negative trust to all people who are against him and called and in trust feedback he said that all of them abused children.
And maybe yahoo62278 and DarkStar_ abusing something too, because they blacklisted all Livecoin participants from their campaigns?
6167  Economy / Services / Re: [TO HIRE] someone with good english to make posts on: July 20, 2019, 11:49:22 PM
Are you planning to run a signature campaign?
I think he has a higher rank alt participating in a signature campaign
and he wants to pay people to do the work for less than the campaign pays
Probably you're right. OP probably have account in signature campaign or just planning to join it, but he isn't fluent in English and can't post. So, he is probably looking for someone who will write posts for him and he will give part of signature campaign payment for that. OP, let's say campaign is paying 0.00015 per post, how much you're planning to give for every post? High ranked accounts won't be interested in your offer, but lower ranked users who can't join signature campaigns might be interested. But dealing with newbies is always risky because it's very likely that you will scam person who are working for you...
6168  Economy / Reputation / Re: Livecoin participants should be tag? on: July 20, 2019, 11:10:21 PM
Damn, Livecoin campaign caused even more drama than Yobit! First of all, if I didn't missed anything, this campaign still wasn't verified by Livecoin staff, so we don't even know that this campaign isn't fake.
Second, I don't understand, why you, @OP hiding under alt account. Do you really fear to post this stuff from your main account? Come on... And I suppose that you're participant of old or new Livecoin campaign.
I'm not sure why Livecoin caused such drama here. There was Yobit, Betcoin, Sportsbet and maybe some other campaigns when these services had unsolved scam accussations. Some of these services were more scammy and shady than Livecoin, but there wasn't even much discussion about tagging campaign participants or something. On the other hand, there was campaigns like DuckDice, where campaign participaints were given time to withdraw their applications, otherwise they will be tagged. So, I'm not sure when we exactly we reach level that campaign participants should be tagged. But I think that Livecoin with just 1 accusation against them didn't reached this level. That's just my opinion, I don't pretend to be right or something and I'm not sure that my opinion matters much. And I'm not talking about tagging participants of scam ICO's bounties - it's totally different thing.
And final thing to say: For God's sake, why Livecoin simply can't resolve this accusation, stop this shitstorm and move on?
6169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: July 20, 2019, 07:13:55 PM
For many fans, sad moments come again today, especially since the Sports Court of Arbitration of Lausanne unexpectedly rejected the appeal filed by Skenderbe on the UEFA decision.  Practically nobody spoke about it.  But the club was removed from the games for ten years and fined.
It's sad thing for Skenderbeu fans, but I think it's right decision. Fixed matches is cancer of sports and everyone involved into it must be punished strictly. If UEFA gave such big penalty, it means that they had obvious proofs. Albanian football is known well for lot of match fixing cases and there is probably more teams in their league involved into it. I just didn't found information - did individual players of Skenderbeu who got involved in match fixing got banned from football. Because it would be strange if they would be allowed to continue playing like nothing didn't happened.
6170  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New phishing attack using Google Calendar on: July 19, 2019, 11:37:05 PM
Damn, these bastards are really smart and always find new ways how to scam people. I have Google calendar on my phone, I can't say that I'm using it very actively, but so far I haven't faced such phishing links on it. First of all, it's interesting how this event appeared on your calendar if you didn't added it. Maybe it's possible that you given access to your Google Calendar for one app on your phone?
6171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup Of Nations 2019 - Discussion Thread on: July 19, 2019, 10:50:52 PM
Congratulations to Algeria but that match was terrible. It was won with one of the luckiest goals you will ever see, Algeria parked the bus after & Senegal through a lack of quality couldn’t find a way through. One of the lowest quality games I can remember.
Yeah, it wasn't good match to watch. This goal of Algeria is very lucky indeed. Algeria tonight made just 1 shot during whole match in total and it was enough to win. Finals are often not most eye-catching matches, but this one was really bad. Well, congrats to Algeria and for those who supported them.
6172  Other / Meta / Re: 278 profiles merited (by me) in 30 minutes – What’s got over me? (v 2.0) on: July 19, 2019, 10:29:58 PM
Oh, I was wondering why you merited my post twice just in two days. And here is the answer. Amazing job @DdmrDdmr! Damn, I didn't spent even 200 smerits in 1.5 year and you merited over 250 users in such short period of time. Probably I'm too lazy to spent my smerits more often, but you gave me good motivation!
6173  Economy / Reputation / Re: Livecoin Signature is back on: July 19, 2019, 10:20:26 PM
First of all, we can't be sure that this campaign actually made by Livecoin. Livecoin staff didn't verified this campaign - they didn't posted anything from their Bitcointalk account, there is also no information about it on their social media. If they would run campaign themselves without manager, probably they would use their old official account. So, it's possible that campaign was made by scammer and participants are risking to not get paid.
Also, I see some users talking about tagging campaign participants or other sanctions against Livecoin. I'm not so sure about. I'm not defending Livecoin, but there is just one proven scam accusation against them. There was some services with worse reputation and multiple accusations against them allowed to run campaign and there was no sanctions against participants (Betcoin, Yobit). If I recall correctly, even Sportsbet.io have unsolved scam accusations, but as we see they are running their sig campaign here for long time already and nobody don't see any problems. It's just my thoughts, and I'm not sure which side to support at this question. It's probably up to every person to decide, is it ethical to advertise service which isn't 100% clean.
6174  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stay 300 meters away from crypto haters because they can pollute your mindset. on: July 18, 2019, 11:08:52 PM
I think it's not worth to pay much attention to words of haters. Usually they have initial bad opinion just because of lack of knowledge about crypto. They just heard something negative about crypto from news media, governments or banks and this is how they opinion formed.
Time will prove who was right. I suggest to wait some time and remind to haters about their words after few years. Most likely they will start to regret about their words. And you will feel satisfaction because you was right.
6175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 18, 2019, 10:19:09 PM
Now it's official - Atletico bought Kieran Trippier for 25 millions. Not expected move, we will see Englishman in Atletico after 95 years break. And it's very rare thing when English player moves to La Liga.
.
Is this the second player's purchase by Madrid after Joao Felix. With the official Kieran Trippier becoming the Madrid player, of course it is expected that players who have just joined Madrid will be able to contribute greatly in the future.
It's their 6th purchase this transfer window according to https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk

https://talkimg.com/images/2023/09/10/m0GO9.png

Athletico Madrid are heavily recruiting and i think they are aiming for the Champion's League glory. Next season's Champion's league will be quite so interesting

They just sold their best player Griezmann though & Diego Godin has left too. I don’t think they will be able to win the CL, none of those signings really impress me. They spent over 100 million euros on a kid who has proved literally nothing.

Weird business by Atletico tbh.
Wow, it turns out that Madrid have bought 6 players. It is very unusual for Madrid in the transfer season this time. Of course their ambitions for the Champions League are very high. Therefore, after being abandoned by the best players, they certainly don't want to stay silent. This is what happened to the 6 players they bought to compete in the league or championship league.
Well, Atletico had to rebuild to their squad because not only Griezmann left them. Diego Godin, Juanfran, Lucas Hernandez also left team. But now I don't see them among favorites to win Champions league or La Liga. Joao Felix is very risky transfer. He is very talented player, but he is just 19 years old. I'm not sure that he can become leader of team in upcoming season already.
6176  Other / Meta / Re: Account "kenzawak" compromised again on: July 18, 2019, 10:06:47 PM
I know it will sound weird.
kenzawak was hacked twice, his signed message proved that this is the real owner but what if kenzawak himself trying to pretend as his account was hacked while it's not. It's possible as well. Sorry kenzawak, no personal issue but trying to highlight the fact that anyone can do that and pretend his account was compromised.
Benefits-
He may get the loan and later tried to prove that his account was compromised. Just shared a fact for everyone to think about.
I think it would be stupid and not worth to risk his hero account just for 0.05. He can earn these money just by being in decent paying signature campaign without any risks. Offcourse, your written scenario is also possible, but I don't want to believe that he could do that. I got impression that kenzawak is a good member of community.
6177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: July 18, 2019, 09:57:23 PM
There wasn't many surprising results in this round, but we can see some interesting outcomes. Dinamo Minsk were kicked out by Liepaja, Tobol got eliminated by club from Luxembourg, Hajduk Split surprisingly lost to Gzira (club from Malta) at home and got eliminated, Kilmanrock got eliminated by club from Wales.
Next round we will see some big clubs joining competition like Espanyol, Wolves or Torino.
@buwaytress, I was thinking about Legia over 3.5 bet on this game, but decided to skip this match. Seems it was good decision.
6178  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BITCOIN TAXES on: July 17, 2019, 10:43:00 PM
You should be more specific and clear when making questions, but in general, answer is yes. In most countries people have to pay taxes for Bitcoin and otger cryptocurrencies. But in all countries all these regulations are different, so I suggest to talk with local experts to get correct information. For example in my country you don't have to pay taxes for crypto that you hold or transferring. But once you change it to fiat and withdraw it, you have to pay fixed % tax based on your profit.
6179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how scammers are using newcomers' greed against them on: July 17, 2019, 10:35:12 PM
Nice story Cheesy. These scammers are always looking for dumb victims and they are too stupid to deal with people like in this story. In past I liked to "play" with these scammers and tease them, unfortunately I don't have enough time to do that now. It's always fun to see how desperate scammers sometimes can be. Actually I don't support scamming scammers, but this story is really funny and it's just $1.
6180  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any way to see what your post looks like before posting? on: July 17, 2019, 10:16:53 PM
So, prior to posting it would be nice to see what your post actually looks like, once posted, specially if you are including links, images, tables.. so on.

Keep in mind that as a newbie you won't be able to some of the text formatting features (including images). You can lift some of these limitations by buying a Copper rank.
As I know, images is probably text formatting restriction for newbies. Maybe I don't know something?
I see that sometimes newbies can't post links. Their link is being replaced with "suspicious link removed" warning, but don't know ehen exactly it happens.

OP, it seems that you also need to learn how to quote messages properly. When you quote post, you should write your text at very bottom, under [/quote] tag. Also, when you quote post with images, it would be best to remove [img] tags and just leave link to the image.
