6161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: QOTE The New Crypto to develop a Income Distribution Social Media: Qoteqote on: October 25, 2020, 10:57:34 AM
This social media, how will you distribute the profit if you're still new? does the distribution will come from the investors themselves and you'll just distribute it through small batches depending on the amount of token they hold?
What's the business model of your project which will generate revenue? A lot of social media giants are there already.
6162  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: buy low sell high? (I'm a noob) on: October 25, 2020, 10:21:31 AM
Start with bitcoin. It's always the safest option for the newbies who are trying to test the waters of cryptocurrencies.
You will never go wrong with bitcoin. Before you test other cryptocurrencies and mostly those that you have never heard of, try first bitcoin.

6165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Tether (USDT) be really called decentralized cryptocurrency? on: October 24, 2020, 11:53:38 PM
Anyway the point I am trying to make is that Tether (USDT) is centralized around the Tether Limited's will to keep it going. This company is basically like a bank too.
Yes.
Tether is centralized and will never become decentralized crypto. It seems like a bank but they are more than that, they seem to be the central bank that can print unlimited Tether if they want to.
And that injection is causing bitcoin to pump.
6166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A case of the pandemic changing the score and affecting sports betting on: October 24, 2020, 10:56:59 PM
Yes, it's part of the plan. They get a salary based on their contracts and if they wouldn't follow the agreements, they'll receive no salary.
The protocols are their utmost priority to be followed to continue the events. We saw them how they've come up with an idea and I guess most of us didn't thought of it.
It is why the organization and sports association have managed to continue their sports events for the fans and sports bettors, even we are in the middle of a pandemic, as long as players, managers, staff members, and fans are following the safety protocols. Their salary truly depends on their contracts, whether they lose or win, so if there will be no games or events, they definitely won't get paid.
And relating to the topic, if a player didn't play for certain matches I think it will affect their salary and contracts. I'm not so sure about how it works but there's also some incentives and as well as deductions basing on their performances.
It could possibly be or someone who knows how contract works can explain more of it.
6167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kucoin Launched P2P Trading for BDT( Bangladeshi Tk) on: October 24, 2020, 10:27:42 PM
Already people from Bangladesh are into cryptocurrency usage bypassing bank transactions. If the government is with the plans of regulating the usage of bitcoin, now this couldn't be a big news. Surfing the internet got to know about coindirect which is providing buying/selling of bitcoin in Bangladesh directly for credit card transactions.

Apart from this found paxful and localbitcoins providing the service of bitcoin buying/selling. It isn't directly illegal, but people are using it with the help of foreigners through whom transactions were made.
It is the worry of OP because it's known that Bangladesh banks doesn't allow it or in short, banned crypto transactions going in and out to bank accounts.

is the OP part of the kucoinbangladesh group? that question is really valid as up until now they are recognizing that any dealings with btc is illegal. you can directly ask them about such transaction that will violate the bangladesh laws.

https://t.me/kucoinbangladesh

https://cryptonews.com/guides/countries-in-which-bitcoin-is-banned-or-legal.htm

because if you will make a p2p transaction, usually wire transfer to your bank is used to send money. and of course, you have undergone KYC and that they have record of your identity. so what is their take with the bangladesh punishment in terms of crypto dealings?
That group might help but as you know, there are many scammers in TG.
6168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: October 24, 2020, 10:03:27 PM
From what I understand Ethereum will stay relevant but ETH should provide a faster and cheaper transactions first and better rewards staking. Hopefully, ETH 2 will delivers as promised otherwise most of those Dapps will look for alternatives. I wish Ethereum 2.0 launch take care of our concern.
AFAIK, those things are part of the 2.0. We have to wait until everything has launched. I'm expecting a lot and will solve the issues that many are saying but I don't want to expect a lot from it.
But I'm wishing that the result will be delivered even if not as promised but hopefully, it's near to that.

6170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A case of the pandemic changing the score and affecting sports betting on: October 23, 2020, 11:45:58 PM

The good thing that their managements have come up with a strategy which they can still play and continue whichever league or sports they are playing.
The consideration and resolution that they have for these players and their organizations made us, the fans really happy.
And the team needs to do it because they also needs to be paid and if the game wont progress then there should be a chance that the management will give them up so things must go to proper place again.
But yeah fans like us will be very happy now that action is back though we wanted to go in real watching and not just Via Online that sometimes making me Bore as i use to watch my Fav Team in live gaming.

We have sushiswap, now we have one of the main ingredients which are seafood or fish.
How many projects like this will keep coming to the market. It is becoming a joke and there's really no need for them to keep making new projects. It looks like there is no more sense for these finance projects.
6172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kucoin Launched P2P Trading for BDT( Bangladeshi Tk) on: October 23, 2020, 10:25:13 PM
Today Kucoin officially launched P2P Trading for BDT. It's a great news for Bangladeshi Crypto Community. But I have some questions going around in my mind.

Officially bitcoin and crypto is banned by Bangladesh government and the central bank of Bangladesh which is Bangladesh Bank(BB). So, if I need to do P2P with BDT, I need to do bank transactions for that. Now how that will happen? How Kucoin will manage it. We can't do bank transactions in crypto related websites.
What's your opinion on it?
When I've first read the first sentences including the BCC, I've already quickly thought about the ban. Your concern is legit as the page setups that it examples wire transfer.
How to Purchase Token via P2P Fiat Trade on App
I hope someone who's good at this can explain how it's possible. I'm also curious about knowing it.

Indeed. The management of each sports events make it possible to continue even the pandemic still exist, trying to make the sports still alive and surviving, even they'll going to proceed with the bubble types  set ups. Those promoters are doing the extra mile providing entertainment even  the covid crisis is strongly hitting out.
We all knew that aside from the potential incomes, the management needs to work it out for the fans to encourage them to continue enjoying their favorite sports, while for sure it excite the gamblers after seeing the availabilities of their favorite sport bookies, though inside the bubble there's a lots of unexpected outcomes it really affects the games, players are focus with the games without any interruptions from the fans, from this the eagerness of so called underdogs are really rising and surprising the fans.
They have tried it and we're all satisfied.
As a fan, I really recognize and appreciate those efforts that they've made. Although we know that it's part of their business and as a fan, we really are the ones that they're sending those entertainments and actions in sports that they're focused.

6176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The defi era is over? on: October 21, 2020, 08:37:28 PM
As far as I can see defi is just a game of pump and dump, defi is only good for the short term, it can make money quickly the rest is gambling. like YFI 4k so 40K and now dump 80%.
You've realized it late. Many have already been aware that the scheme investment of defi won't last. The hype it brought to the community is just the same and no different from the ico that we've been.
If you are late in those yield farming projects, you are likely to burn your money. Buying at hype without proper analyzing the chart of that token will lead you burnout not just mentally but also financially.

6178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Portfolio before and after the pandemic on: October 19, 2020, 11:58:56 PM
I judge it still likes a good portfolio. I can't add that much to my fund but I'm happy that I've never moved that much, thanks to my savings in the bank.
We are crypto people but savings are also important for us to have. So if ever something like this happens again in the future, we have money left in the banks and don't have to withdraw our investments.
6179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap or Coingecko? on: October 19, 2020, 11:15:32 PM
I use both of those whenever i need.but I like Coingecko much, although don't see much difference between them.both are samilar, not have much change.but i notice one thing, CEO always gives piority to Coingecko cause Coingecko get paid first than Coinmarketcap, when it list any project.that's why sometimes i need to visit Coingecko for check token price but is not listed on Coinmarketcap!
Whenever coinmarketcap shows an error, I usually go to coingecko quickly. And the search feature of coingecko is much quicker in response than coinmarketcaps.
I'm starting to like coingecko more than coinmarketcap.
6180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap isn't safe for newbies who don't want to learn on: October 19, 2020, 10:41:20 PM
Nice warning. Maybe that newbie has heard that suggestion from someone who uses coinmarketcap's newest listing where he will invest. And it has been passed on and made that as his strategy for where he will start choosing investments and projects to invest.
It could be a good strategy for others but not truly effective for everybody.

He will learn his lesson sooner or later. That not all suggested links are credible to invest his funds. That his own research and assessment is necessary before spending any penny to these crypto projects. CMC is no way responsible if someone will invest on a certain crypto project. They are merely providing data to the crypto community and not all data are reliable. They can't track the authenticity of all these info.
Yes. He will learn later on after knowing that not everything that's being listed on coinmarketcap's newly listed projects are not always good to invest.
Experience will be his key to learn that every project is risky but if he wants a better crypto to invest, he should rely on the most popular and common coins.
