I am not sure thymos will consider this ban appeal but I saw that some members you mentioned on title were unbanned even after they violated the forum rules because they can be good asset to this forum so losing them is just a big lose to the forum as well so they are unbanned with signature ban for certain level so it might be implemented on your account as well.
But if more people got unbanned from appealing then it might be the time to give alternative punishment to plagiarism like permanent signature ban so if they did on financial motivation then they have no use if it.

Can anyone tell me when I will be able to get Merit?
Try to explore Beginners & Help and get some crypto related knowledge first. Don't try to post for getting merits,you just keep your natural posting habits and once you started to help others in someway you will be able to start getting merits. At first it is going to be a huge start but there are lot of people even ranked upto Hero from newbie after merit system got implemented. Try to read those rankup stories and tips from them which might help you. |

The market has been showing good signs of reversal, as you have got huge amount of capital, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to invest a large amount in the present situation. As far as duration of period is concerned, you can decide it later, according to the market situation.
Obviously I just want to hold the coins at the current situation since the prices are increasing for last few hours then it is not a good plan to sell for fiat and vice versa,just holding until see the next steady phase. |

Don't be ridiculous, this is something that anyone could say. I hardly think this is anything to do with it. The first one is without doubt a copy but if that is not financially motivated then since this person who was copy pasting for financially motivated reasons https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=904524 was allowed back then anyone who was not doing it for money should be allowed back for another chance. I would say wait until snichmoon appears to demonstrate the most damning evidence before building a case. Thanks for the support but I guess it's still a rule infraction. That it was a small one isn't going to help me knowing the policy on the forum :p Unless Mods are in a very good day. Mods can't unban the accounts only theymos can so you can appeal if you think that you can be a valuable asset to this community but its unlikely to be accepted. Even though it is not financially motivated it could be done to increase your post count and activity which even hate by theymos as well to say an excuse. |

There are many filters to choose who will be on the front page but the most important ones are the two. - feedback: how well or how badly others rate you
- volume: how much you've traded (this is unfair I find as it's in BTC, regardless of price!)
Which I considered unfair because the measure is BTC and not the amount of those currencies to USD. "Older members with old deals will have a better place." Do not worry much about your arrangement, but the fees and safety. "I usually look for the safest and least possible fee, even if it is not on the first page." OLD profiles may get more priority as well but the limit is only 150 days to be considered as old trusted person which should be increased by LBC to give old traders a better chance of earning who are doing trades for years. Most of the trades are through banking immediate transfer so nothing much to choose from the safety of trade so for me I need to get more trades as much as possible to have a place in the first page. |

It’s not a waste of sMerit its just a show of support i think. It will not be totally wasted because campaign managers are too generous on giving merit if they saw some post that really deserves it. We also have merit sources who gives credit where credit is due. We give merit to Theymos because we are so thankful for his great work, same thought for the managers. So it has been used as something an exchange for accepting you into their campaign? This is really against the merit system because it is like bribing the campaign manager for acceptance. I did asked about this many times on various threads but it is not against the rules so nothing can be done unless theymos comment on it. |

Thank you guys for your responses. I too have the same number of completed trades as other guys being on the first but I am having 98% feedback score which might be a reason? Because a bitch distrusted me and she is the one never responded to trade after opened so I gave her the bad feedback about what is the actual situation but LBC takes her feedback also as counted even it is fake.  I am looking for someone with what must be the exact stats needed to be on first. |

I have always wondered how much signature campaign managers earn in a good month. I am talking about bitcoin campaigns and the Top 3 managers that are easily found by just opening the Services section. I doubt they will tell us though Earning a couple of $100s a month on the side is surely a plus and in some countries it means doubling their wages. Yesterday, I had applied in bustadice campaign managed by yahoo62278, I checked the spreadsheet and yahoo62278's name was listed there. It shows he is getting paid $150 per week for managing bustadice signature campaign. I didn't check other campaign spreadsheet, you can check and probably get the info about how much he gets managing per campaign. It is only available for bustadice campaign because yahoo is also getting paid on his busta account,but the other campaigns he is managing on his own escow so by searching the other spreadsheet you can't find anything. But in my guess yahoo may charge more than $150 per week for other campaigns because bustadice is only having 16 participants but other campaigns were nearly 50 members so the managing fee also will get multiplied,so a project with 50 members he may get $500 per week.(Just my guess though.) |

I am being a trader on LBC for a week now (the one who create ads and sell and buy bitcoins) since I am interested on making short term profits with bitcoin on this vacation to start being a full time trader if I am able to trade on it with huge capital. I didn't bought much bitcoin on LBC so my bought history is about one bitcoin until now but I had almost 100 trades for the last two year for selling alone so my by ad of "sell my bitcoin" at a cetain price is showing on the first page when I search on my countries name,but my ad of "buying your bitcoin" is not shown on fist page even if I am having better price so this is because of not enough trade history I think. So if my ad of "buying your bitcoin" need to be on fist page how much completed trades and trade volume I need to have?
This is the only thing I got from that site under FAQs. My ad is not on the front page?
Only 6 advertisements per category are shown on the front page and certain high risk payment methods are excluded. You need be an experienced trader with many trades under your belt before your ads will show up on the front page. |

Update:
I made my decision into start crypto to fiat trading and vice versa on localbitcoin after seeing that my country don't have much traders but there are many people want to buy and sell bitcoin,so I will try for a month now since I need to built reputation on LBC to get more trades.
That is a good idea, as long as you can get the level of trust from others so long as you can get various benefits from the services you have. This is a much more meaningful thing than being a Trader in general. You have the opportunity to improve your business and that is good for the future that you will achieve. Since I am not having much trade history my ads didn't showing up much on the first page so for now it is only the reputation building stage hopefully by two weeks or so I will have enough trade volume to be considered as trusted trade for showing the ads up on first page. |

I am just living with the forum since I quit my daily job recetly. I invested more money into passive investments (many ways other than cryptos) which is giving more than enough for now so I am now concentrating more on crypto trading and will try to give all of my effort to become a real pro crypto trader.The knowledge I got from this forum for investing plan helped me to get better investment on many ways so literally for now I am living with the forum but not from doing jobs here. |
