Matrix Zion ban reason?

Hello,

My original account matrix zion has been banned.

Now I know 98% of bans are made due to plagiarism. Problem is I don't recall having been in a sig campaign and I'm here mainly to sell my products soooo... Chances of me having plagiarised anythings are really small.

I know bans are nearly never lifted so it's more out of curiosity, but any mod knows why I've been banned? If it's plagiarism well it was (normally?) not done knowing it was plagiarism.

Unless I've been less intelligent a few years ago. That's possible.

Anyway I'm curious and would like to plead not guilty!

Edit: it could have been for spam as I'm here to sell my products. If that's the case well my fault but I have to admit I would have loved a small warning telling me my marketing was too agressive (like too many threads or updates or whatever). I think I haven't abused anything but maybe I was too dumb to see it.

Most of the accounts are banned for plagiarism if you copy pasted in the past without the source link and someone noticed it.

For you question about the spam, we got serial troll spammer here not banned yet so probably is not for it.

Don't be ridiculous, this is something that anyone could say. I hardly think this is anything to do with it. The first one is without doubt a copy but if that is not financially motivated then since this person who was copy pasting for financially motivated reasons https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=904524  was allowed back then anyone who was not doing it for money should be allowed back for another chance.

I would say wait until snichmoon appears to demonstrate the most damning evidence before building a case.

Thanks for finding this. I can lock the topic I think no? That it is old or not money motivated isn't an excuse if I remember correctly.

Hmm this one seems false positive to me. Not the same thread, not the same typo, not the whole message... I think I just happened to have written something identical to somebody else.


But one offense is enough for definitive ban if I remember correctly?

The last example is NOT a rule infraction the first one is a rule infraction but if you were not wearing a sig i don't see it as terminal. If there are lots more then that will likely be no hope.


This person https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=904524  was allowed back with a sig ban so it is your call whether or not to push for the same. They were busted for doing it for financial reasons so there is hope for anyone who did not do it for financial reasons. It is your call whether to push to keep your account or not. If it was a legend account it would 100% be worth it under any circumstances but this is your choice.

I see this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=904524 as a precedent so if you are were not even wearing a sig at the time it seems your's was NOT as serious.

Plagiarism is plagiarism no matter it is intended for financials or not and anyone who plagiarised will receive its consequences. Your plagiarised post must be old cause it's posted back in 2015 but the Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ was posted a year earlier that's why you still committed a violation as it is stated in the rules and regulations of the forum.

Looking at your recent posts, I understand that some of your posts are intended for business but seems like you're now posting spam posts compared to your older posts. What if you were banned for spamming or something like that? Not because of plagiarism.

Unless Mods are in a very good day.

Mods can't unban the accounts only theymos can so you can appeal if you think that you can be a valuable asset to this community but its unlikely to be accepted.

Even though it is not financially motivated it could be done to increase your post count and activity which even hate by theymos as well to say an excuse.
