6181  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will be giving merits for those who worth it(NEWBIE & JR. MEMBER ONLY) on: February 02, 2019, 06:57:10 PM
Another giveaway thread, and I think this one is seeking merits instead of actually just wanting to hand them out, since the previous threads all had merits handed out to the OP Grin
It's best you just search for good posts and merit them"based on your standards",with less attention; since you have limited Smerits
6182  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some suggestion while advertising in signature space. on: February 02, 2019, 06:43:47 PM
4. Do not join the signature campaign that do not meet your posting habits. If your posting habit is of around 10 post per week than do not enroll in
signature campaign that ask for  25 post in a week.
Great point you pointed out here, and this very mistake is really contributing to the large amount of spam on the forum and most is due to inability to meet requirements weekly, which leads some members to one line spam replies as they are unable to make the large amount of posts required of them

And only those who do not see the forum as a sort of a job would heed to this advice, but those who do would simply join campaigns not withstanding the amount of post required and that which they can afford to make effortlessly.
6183  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide]: How to disable signatures without using scripts on: February 02, 2019, 05:51:31 AM
We have scripts you can install and it'll blocked selected signatures based on the sittings.
What are the ways and methods of creating such scripts,or have such scripts been created and are in use at the moment,if so maybe a link to it would help really.
6184  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MERIT RANK UP FOR NEWBIES support on: February 02, 2019, 05:14:34 AM
Yes, and According to bpip.org, He's being Auto banned already.
Since this is a rather useless and generic thread from a copy paster,i think a mod should lock this thread since the OP is already banned and inactive from the forum.
6185  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Misuse of the quote button on: February 02, 2019, 05:10:52 AM
I think forum should ban Multi quotes or pyramid quotes. They are just increasing the length of post without any value addition.
For long quotes, quoting can be limited to say 100 words.
There is no way it can be banned as it has it can also serve a good purpose, especially on a post with multiple pages, its cool in such threads to probably quote an entire text,if you'll be reacting to all of it
Where the issue is, happens to be full quotes on the first or second page, and most annoyingly on the 1st reply,it just makes things look childish and it'll be appreciated of individuals who do such would really grow up and do the right thing
6186  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't let those spelling mistakes & poor grammar turn your post into a shitpost. on: February 02, 2019, 05:05:11 AM
Yup! Checking your post before posting it is very necessary. Reading your post repeatedly after you wrote is an effective way of checking
Without one crosschecking his or her post before posting, then such member is liable to making typo errors, due to either trying to type fast or phone predictor wrongly changing some words, its appropriate to read before posting, and even after posting,if errors are detected, its good to edit and correct such mistakes.
Though coherency remains the most important, but it's advisable to make it easier for your readers to understand what's going on in your mind
6187  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying your first Bitcoin or accumulating towards a goal? on: February 02, 2019, 04:54:26 AM
have seen many videos where the creator of them had no idea what bitcoin is and yet he was explaining it to others and mostly misleading them. not to mention when they start talking about the market and prices
This is one major menace to this system, and it's on the path of the so called cryptocurrency experts who feel they've acquired that much knowledge to give out speculative and tentative advice, without considering that newbies could watch such videos and be fooled by such erroneous advices.
It's best new users stay away from YouTube videos that discuss crytyo prices and prediction
6188  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need a good shopping website to buy with bitcoins on: January 30, 2019, 03:46:05 PM
There are many online stores that accept payments in bitcoins and it depends on the stuffs you want to buy,so I can't really specify based on your choice of goods, but it's better if you search through the internet for whatsoever you need to purchase and you'll get numerous stores that accept bitcoin payment.
6189  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful of not getting red-tags by advertising a known scam in your signature on: January 30, 2019, 03:41:42 PM
In the aspect of not receiving merits due to a red tag,i do not think it's quite correct as a red tag cannot affect the quality of one's post that'll deprive such member from earning merits.
There are a whole lot of forum members with red tags that receive quite a large amount of merits, and are still quite active in making high quality posts that earns them merits.

Also having a red tag doesn't mean such members discussions won't be taken seriously or correctly if  they are.
A red tag can only prevent members from trading or engaging in transactions with you.
6190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has changed? Is it moving forward? on: January 28, 2019, 09:45:27 PM
For now it is not late to get into the system,as the network is in its prime, and now the prices are low for one to purchase large amounts of coins.
For now we cannot say that cryptocurrency is replacing fiat, neither do we believe it will, and we know that they can work closely together, you for sure are not late and can tap into the networks repertoire.
Just invest with a reduced amount and cut down on your risks
6191  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are Your Coins Safe on: January 28, 2019, 09:40:30 PM
Your coins can only be safe based on the type of wallets they are in, you'll have to select a hardware wallet and a popular one such as trezor that'll keep your coins safe, and definitely storing your coins in an exchange is never safe as things could go wrong and you could lose a whole lot of money/coins if there is a major hack on that exchange
6192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: January 28, 2019, 09:37:14 PM
This is an issue with KYC, apart from sending fake ID most people steal identity cards and pose them as being theirs and most times the projects hardly crosscheck the identity cards to be sure,i think it's best KYC should be scrapped out as it can lead to spreading of false information and fake identity
6193  Other / Off-topic / Re: Merits for all Rank Members - Conditions Apply - 3 merits available. on: January 28, 2019, 09:29:02 PM
Thats your own criteria and theirs no issue with that as long as the merits you give are for posts that are worth them, then there should not be a problem
Everyone has different criterias for handing out merits and we all choose that which Is best to us,you can continue to hand out merits the way you feel it's best
6194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How good were you at understanding Bitcoin tech before investing in it? on: January 28, 2019, 09:12:39 PM
I personally didn't take numerous courses or training before I started investing in the bitcoin, but I did take tutorials from a cryptocurrency expert for quite a few weeks who educated me on the dos and don't,but it didn't take me too long either to get into the network, and with time I got more experience little by little till I got to this stage
6195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lowest withdrawal fee? on: January 28, 2019, 09:08:56 PM
One of the major problem of the network is low transaction fees, and for now it's a major issue, and it's very difficult to get exchanges with low transaction fees especially if you'll be cutting down on its security features,so it's best you choose a good exchange that'll keep you pretty safe but with at least an affordable transaction fee
6196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Jump in with trend and get out with the trend! on: January 27, 2019, 09:34:51 PM
Following the direction of the trend is very important to keep us on track and to avoid us making mistakes in trading, though the market cannot be predicted and luck could play a part or the other,so going against the trend at some point could be advantageous, but on the broader view it's best to trade in and out of the trend
6197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what trading has made me on: January 27, 2019, 09:13:43 PM
Cryptocurrency could really be addictive, but that is were your resolve as a human comes into play, you have to decide what's top priority, and what should come before another, such as family.
For a beginner, its difficult go keep your eyes and mind away from your investments due to pressure of succeeding immediately but with time one should be able to effortlessly handle this pressure and just select the right time for trade and real life issues.
You sure do not need prayers, but effective management of your time everyday
6198  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it possible to contact bitcoin support ? on: January 24, 2019, 04:31:59 AM
hii Is there any way to contact bitcoin support , same think i am search on google for contact bitcoin support i got a toll free  number 18446310111, i talked them and they told me that there are no directly support for bitcoin
It's is unsafe and foolhardy to simply google up a random number and drop a call seeking assistance as regards your bitcoin, you could easily be defrauded.
I guess you are new and you hardly know how things are run,but this forum/community is enough "support" that you need, you can share any issue your having in here but make sure you're not giving out private and sensitive informations such as your private keys and passwords.
And once you share issues and questions you have, there are may members here to assist you, thats not to say there are no scammers in here, there are a whole lot of them,so you'll have to be careful who you take Informtiona from, its necessary you always go through trust feedback and never click on untrustworthy links
6199  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Infographic]: Guide on possible reasons to leave a -ve/+ve trust feedbacks. on: January 24, 2019, 04:15:15 AM
Going through this infographic,i came across your statement which says a user can get a red trust for being an escrow without a track record
Is that correct and should that be so,i know it's safer, and we're encourage to use the forum's official escrow service and also reputable members but is it not the decision of those engaged in the transaction to decide who acts as escrow in their transaction whether or not that person has a track record, but is trusted by both of them, and such person should not get red tagged,I think this makes sense, but I stand to be corrected
6200  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Blockchain Works on: January 24, 2019, 04:03:17 AM
in youtube there are plenty of videos explaining in detail about blockchain why don't you get info there
YouTube happens to be one major source to get information and educate oneself on the runnings of the blockchain technology and cryptocurrency,so also is the forum, its much more easier to gain knowledge on the forum through asking questions, and it's simply down to asking in the right section, and in this case, this question fits this very section and there are many members willing to help out with one or two points, links and even links to videos etc
