621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]  🎸🎸 Announcing $MUSIC Alliance 🎼🎼🎼 on: August 28, 2017, 07:50:48 PM
Can someone explain what will happen with the upcoming update ?

You will get less coins for your mining efforts but maybe the price will go up so it will still be worthwhile to mine. Or maybe the price will stabilize so it will still be worth mining. Or maybe there will still be too many mining and it won't be profitable for anyone.

This will be interesting to see how it shakes out.  There is no hard information yet on how much percentage of each reward miner's are going to lose.  Mining profitability of MUSIC is way down in the last two days, this won't help.  Something will have to give.

Well so far I'm not getting great results with nomnom pool.  Only 29 coins in 4.5 hours of running at 104 MH/s.  That's only 154 per day, I was expecting at least 200.

It's number one on Whattomine right now so with all the hash power turned to $music you're not going to see the returns per MH as you would have yesterday.

That doesn't make any sense.   The WhattoMine calculator takes into account all factors when it calculates the daily profit.  Even with the increased price of MUSIC I only was getting a daily return of $6.x last night while Whattomine said I should be getting $9-10.

Can anyone explain why Claymore found only 17 shares in the first 15 minutes of running and then when the DevFee kicked in it found 12 shares in 35 seconds?  (Zclassic)

The volume has gone up so much yet the price isn't really increasing

Not increasing??  It was up 113% at some point.  It's pulled back some due to profit taking no doubt.

How many coin total? I cannot find this on Musicoin spec
Thanks

303,557,930.  It's going up by millions and millions per day though, I don't think that is a good thing long-term.

bought 1.2 million at 0.018 now its 0.042

I made soo much money off of it.

The hard part is deciding when to sell.  Personally I think this has the potential to go to $1 or more in the next year.  That would only give it a market cap of a few hundred million or a billion, depending on how many coins exist by then.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]  🎸🎸 Announcing $MUSIC Alliance 🎼🎼🎼 on: August 27, 2017, 03:19:40 AM
What do i need to mine this coin? Can somebody help me? Because i´m new to crypto.

Google for a musicoin pool to join there are lots. The pools wil have instructions on how to mine the coin. Nom nom pol seems to be ok, they have several server issues i see a lot

I'm doing a test run on nomnom right now.  I like how quickly the stats update.  So far the balance is not growing as quickly as I'd like/expect but sometimes there is a lot of lag, that is certainly the case with Mining Pool Hub.  I'll let it run overnight and evaluate.

Is there any way to control when payout occurs or is it fixed at 50 coins?
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]  🎸🎸 Announcing $MUSIC Alliance 🎼🎼🎼 on: August 27, 2017, 01:55:32 AM
Anyone mine on nomnom pool?  I'm getting an authorization failure when Claymore connects to the pool.  Can't figure out why.

Any other good Musicoin pools to try besides nomnom and Mining Pool Hub?
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Crazy jump in ethereum difficulty in the past 12 hours , another difficulty bomb on: August 27, 2017, 12:43:46 AM
ETH mining is rapidly coming to an end.  Already there are better choices to mine.  Will be interesting to see what happens to global hash rates for ETH and what the impact on other coins is when all that hash power moves to them.
631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Best miner app for Monero on Nvidia? on: August 26, 2017, 10:22:08 PM
I'm using ccminer and I'm getting literally half the hash rate I should be by my estimation.  I have two Nvidia cards and two AMD cards they are very close in terms of hash rates regardless of coin.  However when mining XMR using Claymore on the AMDs I am getting 1464 h/s but on ccminer on the Nvidias I'm only getting 719 h/s.

And why is there no Claymore version for mining Monero for Nvidia?  There is a CPU version even but no version for Nvidia...
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Nanopool added XMR pool on: August 26, 2017, 06:17:30 PM
So I'm trying to mine Monero on Nanopool but it's not accepting my address of payment id on the status page.  It keeps complaining that the length is invalid.  I got these addresses from Bittrex.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: August 25, 2017, 04:10:54 PM
Yeah if you're buying hash power from NiceHash run it at a lower speed, you don't want to burn through your entire order in an hour.  Also don't be changing the speed a lot, it seems to be better if you run at a steady pace.

Personally I gave up on on buying hash power through NiceHash, could not consistently make a profit.  The 4% fee they charge really doesn't help.  Changing the price as it runs is very important if the price of the coin is fluctuating wildly, you need to stay at a minimum price while still being able to run.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Conclusion Sapphire RX580 with Hynix are not that bad. on: August 25, 2017, 04:03:51 PM
I had a hell of a time getting my Sapphire PULSE 570 to OC.  Finally got there with a ROM from Anorak's site.  I get 27 MH/s or so on only 70ish Watts.  I'll take it.  The Sapphire is actually running about 1 MH/s faster than my XFX on slightly less power.  I have never been able to get either 570 above 28.x MH/s even at full power.  Probably just unlucky with the silicon lottery I guess because I think I've tried everything.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]  🎸🎸 Announcing $MUSIC Alliance 🎼🎼🎼 on: August 24, 2017, 04:40:30 PM

So some guy made some calculations and that is what he "estimated" with no explanation as to how or what he based it on.  I thought nothing was going to change until next month.
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]  🎸🎸 Announcing $MUSIC Alliance 🎼🎼🎼 on: August 24, 2017, 04:36:05 PM
ETH mining rewards are going down my 18.5% tomorrow

Where did you get that information?
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]  🎸🎸 Announcing $MUSIC Alliance 🎼🎼🎼 on: August 24, 2017, 04:33:42 PM
musicoin.org web site is down for some time now?  Isn't that the coin's main web site?

EDIT:  Wow, it literally came back online in the five minutes since I made this post!  I had even checked isitdownrightnow.com and it said it was offline for more than a week.
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The most undervalued crypto? on: August 13, 2017, 09:12:23 PM
Everyone saying Siacoin is probably bagholding a large amount - don't fall for their shill, SC is done... Do your own research before trusting what random people say on these forums (including me, lol) - a lot of people just shill away their coins hoping to breakeven on their bad investments.

Agreed.  SC ain't going anywhere, just like 99.9% of the altcoins.  I don't even bother dual mining it anymore, not worth it.
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't regret take action now! on: August 13, 2017, 09:10:26 PM
Changes are still very high in cryptocurrency! With the right attitude and creativity you can still become a millonair! But you have to grab your changes now because regulation will make it more difficult!
I will believe all of the current crypto users will be a millionaire in 3-5 years later

LOL.  Good luck.
640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Anyone else having long long confirmation times with payments from Nice Hash? on: August 12, 2017, 06:58:57 PM
Apparently the slow confirmations of the last payment from Nice Hash affected everybody, not just me.  Nice Hash actually had to make a statement about it.
