What screws are included with the motherboard?

Need to know since I am going to mount motherboard risers on the aluminium rig.

With the motherboard you don't get any screws.
I received manual, sata cables, backplate.

I don't remember I have ever received any screws with any of my boards in my entire life.
622  Other / Meta / Re: I've still got 80 sMerit to give away. on: February 02, 2018, 01:50:58 PM
At first I really thought that merits will benefit different groups of users on forum , the newcomers to get relevant answers they are seeking and older members to actually be willing to help instead of just linking people to read the manual and also  admins - so they have less job to moderate posts.

Now when I look at different part of forum during the day, occasionally you can see people indirectly asking for merits.
Merits will probably soon become new currency for bounties and that would be very funny because my theory is that one of the reasons they introduced merits was to stop new bounty seekers from flooding the forum.

How much PCI-e plugs your cards have?

You are buying 4 cards, do they have only 1 PCIE plug for additional power or 2 plugs?
PSU on your list have 2 cables with 2 pcie connector so you have 4 PCIE plugs available without additional slots on PSU available.

If your cards have only 1 PCIE plug for additional power you should be good.

You are speaking about the power cables which can be connected from the SMPS to the graphic cards buddy. Those cables only have the two diagonal point jacks in the one points and the other end will be on the SMPS with the single point. In PCIe card, you can find the SATA cable line and power cable to SMPS again. This cable have to connect on 1 to 12 watts point which can be find the middle row of SMPS.

I am talking about how much cables he gets in the package he is buying, and regarding to that what he can expect to connect out of the box without any converters from molex to 6pin plugs to power the cards.
I am trying to make it simple as I can because I know that our friend expects simple answer.
Not sure if your answer would be beneficial to him at all at his point of knowledge.

624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin (XZC) - Implementing Zerocoin technology for financial privacy on: February 02, 2018, 11:25:20 AM
So, saw tha zcoin is listed on Tdax and we can get 88% of masternode payouts. Sounds like a pretty smart solution for TDax, since they can attract a lot fo deposits to the exchange and get some ROI on the masternodes.
It seems that Zcoin lead dev is a also involved with the exchange, which leads to more credibility to the exchange(it has been launched just September last year).
So, overall seems pretty legit, what do you think?
However on the masternode issue it seems that over 50% of Zcoins are locked up in Masternodes, which does seem quite high. Here is info from Maternode:
Supply:   4,013,373 XZC
Coins locked:   2,277,000 XZC (56.74%)

Everything always seem legit until the first time something happens and people lose money.
Not sure how wise is to transfer your entire Zcoin volumes to third party.
Greed always leads to disaster.

The each card have one slot for power, and risers also have power so?
But i didnt found gigabyte psu because its not avaible Sad
There is only this shit: RIOTORO Onyx SM 750W by Coolermaster (probably idk)

Not sure If i personally would go for that brand of PSU.
You have enough options from Corsair, EVGA, Thermaltake, Seasonic and few others that people have been using successfully during the years.
Take a look at some reviews from sites that have been testing PSU-u during the last 5 years for example JonnyGuru, Tomshardware and some other sites. I am sure you would find at least one model that has been well reviewed and is available to you for purchase.

Is the wallet update safe? I only say that because the developers account is compromised, I highly doubt its related to github in anyway but I want to be sure before I grab it. Thanks.

If update is not mandatory I personaly wouldn't hurry to make an update, also regardless the latest DEV compromised account, not sure how secure is to do anything until that is resolved and under control. Who knows what else attacker has gain access.

627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: February 01, 2018, 07:09:31 AM
Prices are artificial risen by GPU vendors by delivering smaller or same amounts they used to produce/deliver before the outbreak of Crypto.

They have already stated that because of unplanned orders  of raw material needed for GPU production they must pay that same  raw material much more than they would if demand for GPUs were the same as last year.

So they have just transferred additional production/material  costs on buyers.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ### A ChainWorks Industries (CWI) Project - SweepStakeCoin | Fast Fun Secure on: January 31, 2018, 07:56:15 PM

so if you guys are seriously considering and looking at working on a reduction in the number of sweep, are you including a swap for whats already out there to a "new" coin? or whatever you name it?I dont see people voluntarily giving up millions of sweep just to reduce the amount circulating so the only way I can see that happening is with a swap...

I am not sure that changing the total CAP number necessarily means SWAP process, or am I wrong?

if they just reduce the cap, then no, a swap would not be necessary. If they want to reduce the overall amount, then a swap would have to take place to do that, depending on the amount actually circulating and how much they want to reduce from final CAP.

Well I am not sure that they would actually reduce CAP volume bellow the current circulating supplies because like you said, then they would need to make SWAP and burn.
It all depends what will new road map say about plans for this coin and also the time table when CAP cuttings occurs. The more time it pass, more likely we can expect to see swap on roadmap.

The more coins you have in your wallet, probability to be part of staking network process groves bigger, Not only that but also if your coin age has increased you have more chance to stake.

630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HUSH Secure Private Messaging and Transactions [Equihash] on: January 31, 2018, 08:32:04 AM

tnx, I understand that. But I do not have the ability to record it somewhere.
Actually, it records it somewhere in the clipboard, but I can not find it
but where is the clipboard for win 7 64?
how do you make that key somewhere?
I'm all clear with the web walet.
I still do not know how to record private key ... we are talking about desktop wallet 0.70.0

Ok, so when it says it saved in clipboard you can open NOTEPAD and PASTE key in the file.
Then you just save the file somewhere.

Private Key is just specific set of numbers that represent your wallet nothing more.

Or you can chose SHOW private key and write it down on paper, it the same thing.

I was sync. swing wallet. Reached nearly 77% then this message appeared. Anyone can help?

Ageneral unexpected critical error has occured:
error: could not connect to server: EOF reached (code 1)
(make sure server is running and you are connecting to the correct RPC port)
See the console output for more detailed error information!

This should resolve your problems:

1. make a copy of wallet.dat
2. delete everything from folder User/Username/Appdata/Roaming/Hush or whatever location your wallet.dat is stored
3. install latest version of Hush wallet
4. copy your previously backup of wallet.dat to your sync folder (User/Username/Appdata/Roaming/Hush)
5. Run wallet and let it sync

Let me know if you managed to resolve the problem

web wallet is up and working
why is price dropping?  Undecided

Things were disturbed, but now everything is getting better & settled. Check out this update:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Myhush/comments/7u2cr1/hush_update/

I have checked it...

You know what it says? One DEV is out and they are waiting for other one to return?

"
Unfortunately, due to this occurrence MadBuda will leave the Hush community. We are waiting to hear back from Duke Leto in regards to his future involvement with Hush.
"

So it seems to me that both of them said Goodbye to HUSH, one is angry and other one was thrown out.

I cannot understand how someone can kill Discord channel just because he has some disagreement with other team member?
It seems kind of childish and very unprofessional. To be honest,  If that is the true then not sure if this coin is right to invest in the first place.

636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HUSH Secure Private Messaging and Transactions [Equihash] on: January 30, 2018, 12:30:28 PM
I see the HUSH 1.0.12 readme has been updated 6 hours ago. One core member has been removed, also noted on the website. I know that he may be moving abroad going by the Discord talks, but now who is going to work on HushNG?

It is a shame they removed or disabled the Discord channel; the community is in the dark. Many questions around the airdrop now, suddenly BTCH looks like all talk and no walk.

They say that they didn't shutdown discord but only have technical issues

637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyEtherWallet Password on: January 30, 2018, 08:00:41 AM
I forgot my MyEtherWallet password. I don't see "forgot password" in MyEtherWallet website. Is this means that I can't change my password anymore? Anyone have suggestions about this matter? Kindly share it to me please. Thanks!

There is no password.

When you created wallet on Myetherwallet you got your keys, you probably save them to your PC.
Because you have used them at least once to check your balance?

So the question you must ask yourself did you ever opened your wallet after initial creation, if not there is a good chance that you never downloaded your keys in the first place.

Hey,

If the discord is down while the airdrop of bitcoin hush is happening. Are they going to postpone the drop?

How will we get instructions for the drop?

There are no any other instructions than this:

How Do I Get my Airdrop?
You must HODL your private key (not on an exchange!) in a transparent address. Since only HUSH has shielded addresses in this airdrop, HUSH HODLers with value inside of shielded zaddrs must choose to migrate it to taddrs before the snapshot date or simply enjoy their freedom via the zkSNARKs that protect their address balances.

A block height closest to (but not later than) 12pm NOON UTC on Feb 1st 2018

There will be more after this part is done. Wink

If you have your HUSH in your wallet and on T- address you are good for now.
640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: January 29, 2018, 05:13:09 PM
I have been mining ZEN for the last 2 months with my 6x1080ti asus strix (asrock btc h81, 2xEvga 1000w g3), and 10 days ago it started crashing all the time, even the whole machine started restarting. I checked cables and changed all risers and still the sam. Then I took one card I suspected might be the cause of problems and put it on my desktop machine so I could check it solo. It worked perfectly for 3 days and the rest of the rig with 5 cards worked perfectly so I thought it might be that one of the PSU is having problems with supplying 3 cards. I cleaned all the components with air compressor and put the 6th card back and now everything is working perfectly for the last 5 days...
So...we should regularly clean our 1080ti's :-)

Can u please tell me how much power u get on power meter with all 6 cards running and do you have any power limit applied?
Did u noticed any temps rising or/and  rpm rising on GPU vents before the crash.

What temps are your cards giving after few hours of work.

Thanks

I set power limit to 90% and core clock +120, mem clock +450 and I get about 740sols per card with about 1700w from the wall with 6 cards running at about 55'c fan at 50% in the relatively cool and big room.
Hope this helps

Yes it does, thank you.

ps. You are probably doing about 900W from one PSU and 800W from other, isn't that little to much heavy lifting  for 2x 1000W PSU if you look at long term 24/7 mining?
