impressive concept here.. from what i understand zStone is something similar to byteball blackbytes? that’s really intriguing, i’m inverested in taking part in the testnet if possible.

do you have any info already on how the giveaways will happen?

Hi Lucasgabd, this is something which is still in the works.

felixando

Isn´t backbytes something like a "different" currency to Byteball? Stone would more be like rai with privacy
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain on: January 31, 2018, 07:23:13 AM
Here the main events should be expected no earlier than April. While ambassadors will be found ... And prices should not be reacted now - everything has its time.

And its quite ambitious, so it will take a lot of time. Some prove of technical progress from time to time would help though
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Seele is exploring the new peak of blockchain 4.0! on: January 31, 2018, 07:21:15 AM
This is not a concept, It is real, we have passed verification.

What does that mean 'verification'. How did you verify?

I can't´t even sign up on the homepage.

Hopefully they release more infos about the project (GitHub) etc soon. They're quite active on twitter though
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Seele is exploring the new peak of blockchain 4.0! on: January 30, 2018, 05:59:00 PM
highly looking forward to this project. Any details about the ico ? KYC? Whitelist?
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: January 30, 2018, 07:42:55 AM
I have not seen a discord or telegram channel yet.  But I think they might have a slack channel.  Could be a different project i'm thinking of though.

there is a telegram channel, but its not much traction in there. Would anyone be interested in Discord ? wouldn't be a problem, but slack is quite similar
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QBIC [QBIC] - Masternodes, PoW, Secure, ASIC Resistance on: January 30, 2018, 07:39:11 AM
Hi dev,

I think you should move all of information on QBIC signature campaign to the following category:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

Put it in the ANN might violates the 15th rule of the forum.
It is my recommendation.

By the way, 80,78% of QBIC coins locked in 167 masternodes by now.

80% coinlocked must be wrong statistic. 170 MNs lock only 170000 coins. Total supply now is about 1 million, unless premine is excluded.

Yes you are right its more Grin  now its  175 Masternodes are 175,000 QBIC (84.65%)

look ar cmc you can see there    175,000 QBIC (84.65%)

Circulating Supply 206.730 QBIC
Total Supply 948.622 QBIC
Max Supply 52.500.000 QBIC

175,000 QBIC  from Circulating Supply 206.730 QBIC  are  84%   you can see at masternode.online !

Best Regards

Sorry I have to say those stats are not healthy at all. They show that the only real demand is for MNs. Only those who want to have MNs and those who have MNs create a close circle to circulate a very limited number of coins. Because of high risk, MN owners are expected to sell rewards to recoup investment. New MN owners come with lower ROI (like ponzi scheme)... We should see price and ROI steadily decrease with assumption that 1 mil premined will not be dumped and no price manipulation due to low circulation.

for most projects something around 1000-2000 mn is something to hope for in the future, because it enabled a really secure network. But I have to agree that those numbers are quite high since there is little liquidity
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SKY] Skycoin Launch Announcement on: January 30, 2018, 07:35:31 AM
Am I the only one thinking this is a very much undervalued coin? It has istant feeless transactions, stable in years, no great bugs or whatever. It should be much higher in CMC.

Sky will sure rise this year. The things in the pipeline in 2018 are huge and sure will draw some attention to the project
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Stone - DAG Data-Structured Private Cryptocurrency on: January 30, 2018, 07:33:33 AM
Here is another link to the other Stone coin:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2799957.0

This is a totally different project. StoneCoin is a blockchain Bitcoin-based with masternode coin. Stone is a DAG based coin + privacy. Just the name is similar.

Either way might lead to confusion. Maybe a rebranding will be needed in the future

633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ABT] ArcBlock - BORN FOR BLOCKCHAIN 3.0 on: January 29, 2018, 07:19:04 AM
We decided to lower the max individual cap to 3ETH + 7500CMT (#Cybermiles). GAS CAP up to 51K and GWEI 31. Do not contribute beyond   the CAP,  your purchase will be failed with 20% penalties. Refund process will be in 5 weeks after the token distributions. #arcblock #blockchain

Nice to see a lower cap. Maybe everyone got a chance to participate. But why restrict Gas and gwei?

Thank you, smasherx, for the summary of Q&A. It is completely understandable that a great coin needs great developers and these guys don't work for a bottle of whiskey. Proposed 5% fee per block is reasonable and I would vote for it (even if it means slighty less returns).  Wink

right. For every non masternode holder  or miner it really doesn't matter at all. And everybody else will see the good thing about it I think Smiley
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: January 29, 2018, 07:12:43 AM
Tokyo-based cryptocurrency exchange Coincheck said today it would return about 46.3 billion yen ($425 million) of the virtual money it lost to hackers two days ago in one of the biggest-ever thefts of digital money.
That amounts to nearly 90% of the 58 billion yen worth of NEM coins the company lost in an attack that forced it to suspend on Friday withdrawals of all cryptocurrencies except bitcoin.
Coincheck said in a statement it would repay the roughly 260,000 owners of NEM coins in Japanese yen, though it was still working on timing and method.

It's kind of crazy that an exchange has so much money to pay back a theft like this..

I hope that money comes from early holdings of the owners and not trading fees, otherwise it goes to show how much these players are making (and even worse, how this was not invested into improving security).

I honestly dont know how they found the funds, but in saying that, a huge percentage (at least 300M XEM) is theirs.
Perhaps the amount of XEM held by the members was alot less than we think?

might be possible yes. So they would have to come up with half of the money or so. Maybe they will make everything public to restore the trust of the user to catch the falling knife in some extent

Yeah it seems very strange that how exchange owner will refund so much money?
Have they earned so much money with exchange? it is also their own fault, they should have maintained security that nobody could not hack exchange.
Now they will have to refund $425 million. Hope so after this incident they will secure exchange much better than before.

Big exchanges like upbit etc seem to make round above 300 mio+ a year. CC got a lot Xem themselves, so I think they can achieve that
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ABT] ArcBlock - BORN FOR BLOCKCHAIN 3.0 on: January 28, 2018, 08:35:17 AM
It is a pity that there is a limit for participants from some countries! Around the project there is a huge hype and I personally know the guys who will invest here in large amounts! I am sure that the public sale will be held within one day, after entering the exchange I will consider the possibility of buying coins in the long run!

They can participate max 50 ETH as per website, but arcblock is going to decrease that less than 20 ETH which is fair to everyone and avoid whale as per telegram group. My application is confirmed i am one of the luck guy. I dont believe that each participant can buy the token. ICO will be over the in 1-2 hours. Its good for us who are able to buy in ICO that USA, CHINA, CANADA, KOREA Сan't participate. if we hold and team succeed their plan, we can get good profit.

can you link the statement with the 20 ETH max? Would be very cool to have something official because I think its quite a good step

If posters in this thread are rewarded, does that mean this lousy post gets me some stone?🤔

haha, maybe its only quality posts, well you’d hope so, get ready for the posts to come flying in.

Ether way this one is a HODL for sure with around 1.5mill marketcap if no more donations... i can live with that

I still think the dev will implement some sort of preventing socket accounts. So maybe a specific creation date or so is needed
640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: January 28, 2018, 08:25:16 AM
Why are all the Monero followers causing problems on every other coins threads and groups??? What's with those guys??? Getting so sick of hearing them yap.

I love the vibe of Jesus, but I hate bigoted religious zealots knocking on my door telling me I'm going to burn in the 'crucible' of Hell for my sins (i.e. opinions).

I love the privacy of XMR, but I hate the bigoted zealotry of some of the fanatics who support XMR, they're like football hooligans who are really more interested in fights than crypto tech.

iCEBREAKER doesn't care about crypto tech, he likes picking fights, makes him feel superior, but when someone pulls apart his logic he disappears. He used to be a constant critic of SuperNET and jl777, but the last 9-12 months not so much, why ... all his arguments and predictions were wrong!

People who truly follow crypto with an open mind support many coins.

He has also been trolling the DASH thread virtually since day one with his pro monero speech.

than that's even some sort of honor right? Wink
