621  Economy / Economics / Re: why is it so hard to buy bitcoin on: March 26, 2017, 02:05:52 PM
I have not really bought any bitcoin in a while, i have been mostly trading this last year.  but i have been trying to buy today from localbitcoins and bittylicious and it has been a real challenge.  they want photos of me holding cards on localbitcoins and on bitty they need about 4 different forms of id, what is going on.

this is seriously restrictive to anyone wanting to get into bitcoin,  like its meant to be pseudonymous but if the gate ways into bitcoin dont allow that people will be put off.    Huh
So far, i have not bought bitcoins from localbitcoins and i have just sold bitcoins which i got from signature campaign. They didnt ask me my personal information. But if i sell bitcoins,i think they would ask my identity.
622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A quick question. What would happen to my Bitcoin balance after BU is activated? on: March 26, 2017, 01:16:27 PM
As I get it, BU is going to use the same blockchain that Core now uses, right?

And if I understand that point correctly, I should have the same amount of new bitcoins as I had at the moment of the split since the new blockchain will basically use the same addresses and balances (so, nominally, I should become twice as rich). It heavily reminds me of a philosophical problem that rises when someone is copied atom by atom (split mind). So what will happen to my balances, say, in my personal wallet, Coinbase wallet, and an exchange account? Let's assume that exchanges start listing the new Bitcoin, will they recreate wallets which would match the ones in the old Bitcoin (with all their balances)? Or should I move my bitcoins to a personal wallet to prevent them from being stolen by web wallets and exchanges. I refer to new bitcoins here. It would make sense to buy up as many bitcoins as possible just before the split to get rich quick
As soon as hard fork occurs, exchanges will create another account for you and you will receive both BTC and BU same quantity. But,the exchanges will postpone deposit and withdrawals for one or two days.Your way of thinking is new that to buy more bitcoins to get more BU when hard fork happens. It seems lots of people are selfish enough and whatever happens to bitcoin, they never mind and they just want some more profits.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRIJ_jpmwzo    <--------------  Roger Ver on MTGOX Bankruptcy and Bitcoin

This time, he will be unable to blame poor programming skills, because he knew about this in advance. He took the lead in this one, not

just to lose a bunch of money for a segment of the community, but for the community as a whole.

All the warning signs are there that the BU developers are doing a piss poor job with the code and he still supports them. I hope you have a ton

of excuses if this goes South.  Angry

Nobody will really know if he lost anything in MtGox and we will also not know if he will lose anything this time. He might have already shifted his

coins to fiat or some Alt coin.

This time, people will not go easy on him, like they did last time.... He is the ring leader now, and Mark cannot be the scapegoat for this.  Angry Angry
Yes,he should be made accountable for all things which happen this time.Even though,he was an early adopter of bitcoin and had spend dollars for the progress of bitcoin,it doesnot mean that he can take advantage and do anything he wishes.
624  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: March 26, 2017, 08:54:34 AM
What are the best investment opetions for bitcoins to be put into?
Please post here!
You can invest in genesis cloud mining. But its monthly income is less and it would take some months for you to even recover your investment.Better, hold your investment in bitcoin itself in a long term basis.
625  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading on: March 26, 2017, 08:47:48 AM
In altcoin trading,is day trading profitable or trading on a long term basis?
if you are an experience trader? " Day trading" is very profitable because altcoins price fluctuations every minute. To me long terms is not even good for bitcoin talk more of altcoins as the price can not face a directions continuously in a month this creates opportunity for day trader.
Agreed, day trading is much fastest in growing profit than anything else in this industry. Though, it has risk involved anyway but that's normal. every minutes there is bouncing price value happened in the trading platform, meaning you will go with flow of motion in the exchange site market, you will act like a bot more quicker than a bot something like that.
Day trading is profitable since altcoins are very much volatile in nature. In day trading, you can get quick profits from the market conditions.Holding long term basis will benefit in bitcoins and it will not be useful for altcoins.
626  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you think , better time for trading ? on: March 26, 2017, 08:30:05 AM
Here everyone knows that the currently the price of the Bitcoin at the peak of the sky .
But due to the increase of the price the price of less famouse altcoins are became down .
So here is a better chance to buy some altcoins?
What is your thoughts about this guy's ? Share your thoughts  Cheesy
Most of the altcoins are just pump and dump coins. Now bitcoin price is a little bit low and altcoins are already pumped and its price is higher. We dont know when it will be dumped. So better wait,Its not the correct time to buy altcoins.Since bitcoin price is recovering slowly, you can hold your investment in bitcoin itself.
627  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: March 26, 2017, 07:18:56 AM
Greetings!

While trading sometimes I drop back from my original plan. Such emotional decisions often bring loss cuz I tend to change orders on panic or when I mistakenly expect more potential income. How do you deal with that if you feel the same way?
I too have lost a lot due to panic.Actually,in early times of my trading,i used to trade without setting any profit limit and when i see an altcoin rising in price, i invested in it and follow it blindly thinking as sky is the limit for my profits. But thats a wrong strategy.Always, set your target say 5% or 10% or 15% as profit percentage. As soon as you reach that target, just finish your trade.I now follow this strategy and i can manage my emotions easily by this way.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Decred up 90% in 24 hours on: March 26, 2017, 07:10:32 AM
I dont know whether its a pump, but what i know is that Decred is the most under valued coin now.It seems lot have realized its potential.
629  Economy / Economics / Re: Want to Be a Millionaire? Two Main Rules of Bitcoin Investing on: March 26, 2017, 06:51:27 AM
They are early birds.Thats why they have reaped such benefits.Since Bitcoin is now known to all, every one is interested to buy bitcoins. It is not the case in early stage of bitcoin.Early investors had kept faith in bitcoins and they had taken risk even its a small amount and thats why they have such huge benefits today.
630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [HELP] Indian Member of Parliment is Seeking Public Opinion On Bitcoin on: March 26, 2017, 06:40:21 AM
It would be a little bit sad for indians if government declares bitcoin as illegal.Already, china and russia have tried to ban bitcoins and have dropped that idea.Just like dollars, some may use it for illegal activities and bitcoin cannot be blamed for it.
631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Central Bank Requiring Extreme Customer Verifications at Exchanges on: March 26, 2017, 06:27:33 AM
https://news.bitcoin.com/chinese-central-bank-requiring-extreme-customer-verifications-at-exchanges/

I know we're talked about endless rumors and fake news of China "banning" bitcoin, but short of an absolute ban this sort of thing looks like a step in the direction we have long feared they would take. A big step.

The PBoC is apparently requiring every customer to write out how they got their bitcoin, among other things, such as explaining why they are withdrawing whenever they want to convert to fiat. Very, very intrusive stuff. The question is, how will Chinese buyers respond? Is this just business as usual when dealing with their government, or is this the sort of thing that will dry up the Chinese market for bitcoin? Or something in between?
PBOC just wants to stop its country's wealth being transformed via bitcoins to abroad. For that reason, they are asking customer verification at bitcoin exchanges.Let them do whatever they want.If the chinese gamblers and miners leave out of bitcoin community,it would be better for the bitcoin progress as a whole.
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin be replaced, at least temporarily, by Ether? on: March 26, 2017, 06:20:26 AM
With the coming fork, and the eventual fork itself, do any of you think that at least for a short time, that Bitcoin could crash and be replaced by Ether; with Ether exploding in price as people jump to something they see as more stable in the short term?

I could also see this having a longterm effect, since so many more will be familiar with Ether, it will eventually fall back and remain a close second to Bitcoin. Ether being Pepsi, and Bitcoin being Coke.
No way,Ethereum couldnot replace bitcoin even temporarily.ETH is increasing in volume considerably, but it will last only till the bitcoin dispute settles down and then it would go back to its former place.
633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do I buy Bitcoin Unlimited bitcoins as opposed to Bitcoin Core bitcoins? on: March 26, 2017, 05:23:41 AM
If I wanted to buy BCU (bitcoin unlimited) bitcoins instead of the traditional BTC (bitcoin core) bitcoins, how do I do that?  Do only certain exchanges have them currently?

The baby BU has not yet born.I hope it would be soon aborted before its birth for the progress of bitcoin. Its useless to buy BU coins. It will not exist and will disappear in coarse of time.
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: March 26, 2017, 04:22:47 AM
Just try to explain them about bitcoin, its progress so far and its price today.Only the person who dont know clearly about bitcoins will hate it.Just show them your achievements. If still they dont agree, just leave them alone. They will be the losers.

636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: this is just sad on: March 25, 2017, 05:33:45 PM

Hahaha there always has to be an opposition or else what's the point of life!? How do you figure that!?

70% is still a vast majority. I'm surprised after all of this time it's still that high. Bitcoins obviously did a lot right but to take back over and be at 85 or 90% of the total cash value within cryptocurrency we'll need this whole blocksize debate to be over and done with.

Yes,70% is still not bad.Bitcoin price is recovering again. Now the scene will change and the alts would start bleeding.Running race will begin from altcoins to Bitcoins.Whoever comes first will get bitcoin below $1000 and the latecomers would have to pay $1200 or $1300.

638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Future on: March 25, 2017, 04:04:13 PM
Is bitcoin a future proof currency?
future proof? its better you call bitcoin a future digital currency and i am sure it gonna be used as gold by some government. As you can see american and australian government are running auction to sell all arrested bitcoins from illegal transaction. Even government know the value of bitcoin.
Yes,whether governments like or not, they know Bitcoin is valuable.Bitcoin is created for the future.Hope it will even survive after quantum computing and will last longer.
639  Economy / Speculation / Re: Its time to grab bitcoins from the whales! on: March 25, 2017, 03:59:55 PM
There wouldn't be that many guys crying about Bitcoin if they would just learn to hold their coins and forget about the price. With all this debate about the Bitcoin Unlimited and other Altcoins getting close to Bitcoins price the distraction was pretty successful so the holders could dump their precious BTC.
Now that the price went up, the posts are now being deleted or the posters are too busy trying to purchase their coins back within Bitcoin Exchanges.
Yes,the price is recovering and its now $940.I think the big whales have realized that bitcoin cant be dumped more and otherwise, they have to lose their bitcoins to others. So they are buying it back.Ha Ha Once again got a chance to see a good drama.
640  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have you heard Roger Ver? on: March 25, 2017, 01:34:44 PM
Roger Ver also sounded very confident and convincing when he tried to assure the public that your money was safe on MtGox... draw your own conclusions from there. He is a good guy but a bit naive and he has a huge emotional bias to the point he is unable to think clearly and critically once his emotions are involved. Just my observation.

He seems to be a guy who thinks he knows better than everyone else, may be he really thinks he Jesus  Roll Eyes
Yes,once he was bitcoin jesus and now he has become bitcoin antichrist trying to destroy the reputation of bitcoin for just some quick profits.
