621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is best for a player to draw the line? on: March 15, 2024, 11:05:12 PM
1-when you lose?
2- when you win?
who really gonna stop going when he or she is getting a win. You see that's the hard part, you don't see people leaving under any  winning circumstance, the best time to see a gambler realize is time to leave is when the losing's start coming in on each bet. I'll like to say the reasonable time to draw the line (stead of calling it the best time)  is when you are just about to get beyond your bankroll. At that point never had himk of chasing the losses it's a waste of time as more losses would follow doing that.

The moment a gambler begins to go against his strategy, he needs to stop. When participating in gambling, a lack of control yields failure or losses. Nobody cares about the win or loss, as a factor that determines when to stop or not. Because whenever we wager money, one of them appears. If a player is reliant on that factor, then he wouldn't gamble for a long time. One may wager twice and lose, then stop. That doesn't define some satisfactory measures of gambling. Players have unique purposes or realities that help them to stop a gambling session.

It could be a lack of funds, as you said. The money is almost exhausted and the player is still under control to respect his financial status not to get dried up. He'll have a rethink. Other factors may include, excessive losses. Playing for a long period or even when chasing loss and no wins erupts the player can get bored. Although the casino knows about this and periodically provides those wins to keep the player in line to continue gambling. But if a gambler decides to stop after winning, then he has the intention of spending the money on other things other than gambling. However, in the long run, he'd still gamble with his money earned from other sources, that's not gambling. Therefore the house still benefits.
622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling still pays regardless of our losses on: March 15, 2024, 10:42:35 PM

Taking a break after a big win is totally understandable but how many can take a break after a small win and call it a day? These are rare!
Usually people will keep on it and end up delivering back to the market the profits they made with a lot of sweat

It is what it is
Sad truth,  there are many gamblers that will continue to seek for more instead of quitting and enjoying that small wins,  thinking that they are in the winning streak and luck is backing them up, it's uncontrollable as the desire to win more is stronger than being contented with your small wins, you'll just ends up sending the money back to the house together with your deposit and leave with a big regret thinking that if you only retire  while still in the winning side you should be enjoying 😉  but that's how things being done and it's just a repeated scenario inside gambling activities.

Gambling activity revolves around helping keep the casino business running. Whenever a player decides to stop gambling, after a huge win, how else would he earn big, in his thoughts? If he doesn't find a better means of investing the money or multiplying it, he'll waste the money lavishly on luxuries or gamble them away. Some gamblers who, despite harnessing a business idea, won big, wasted the funds and regretted latter for not investing the funds in their idea. Psychologically, the funds are not being put into a lucrative investment, because it came fast, and the player wouldn't have to wait again for a long time to make money. That's why investment does.

A gambler can't stay comfortable waiting for his investment to yield him profits for months when he knows he made the money in gambling quite very quickly. Such players also forget that they waited for a long time for the jackpot. So, they keep going for it, and end up losing out all the funds back to the house. Hence, as a player, it's crucial to follow a specific strategy that boosts the profits and buys longer duration for the player. Big winners, most times, end up not being able to raise money to finance their gambling habit. What kind of carelessness can this be tagged? Yet, it's not the fault of the gambler, he only obeys the gravity dragging him. Unless he's proficient in self-control, he may not find himself out of the trap.
623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is really unexpected on: March 15, 2024, 10:30:37 PM
You are practicing the same reason why the casino gave you a win, gamble more. Unique results awaits every gambler. And nobody detects, exactly, when the wins will arrive. What is crucial is staying careful. Don't get carried away by the few wins you've seen on a fresh casino. It may not remain that way all through your gambling duration there. However, it's good you won in gambling. Atleast instead of quiting the game, you've seen a reason to continue gambling. Some naive gamblers think the game isn't for them if they don't win at some point when gambling. Such experiences scares people away from gambling. But, once a player begins to win, he'd stick around and enjoy the game.

Greed is a bad gambling factor for any gambler. While enjoying the game, expect to win, don't chase it. Gradually gamblers win and lose money, too. Hence, your experience is acknowledged as a good practical, and should teach you the ways gambling works. Switching from one casino to another is not bad. House edge may vary. But, the system operates simultanously like any other casino. The difference is that the results can be scattered, wins arrive early or losses comes first. Take your brother's wins for instance. He could try on another casino and wouldn't win. So, don't relent, stay accurate in your strategies. Good luck!

What negative sides? That people gamble, lose, try to play back or become addicted? I was always wondering why people hide fact of gambling and use word addiction to describe its negative effect, and on the other hand people unintentionally promote alcohol addiction with always drinking everywhere; during BDays, sports events, anytime they celebrate something, on weekends and etc. And do it on public. So we hide gambling because of addiction, but we drink on public and show examples of addiction. All those stories when people misbehave when drunk, and people hide the fact that they gamble. That BS.

Yeah, it's unfair how gambling addicts are treated in relation to their counterparts like the alcohol addicts. They hardly get any stigma sticked on them like gamblers are being treated. However, it's common amongst societies that alcohol subsides given time compared to other addictions, and the person recovers after sleeping. But they fail to understand that all addiction is wrong. No need picking sides on which one has the most effect on the person. Gamblers suffer severe addiction due to this, the stigma on them is high and nobody is ready to listen. Those who take alcohol sometimes are being laughed at and the problem is forgotten. The gambler receives a frowning face from people around him. It's just the ancient tradition beliefs that gambling is bad.

People harness the believe and don't care a bit over the pains an addict undergoes. On the other hand, regardless of the treatment an addict foresees he'd get from his loved one, hiding his habit wouldn't help or solve a thing. He needs to open up when feeling any gambling challenge. A closed mouth is a closed destiny they say, if no one knows about the gambler's pains, he'll languish in the trouble for a longer period. Also comparing the treatment alcohol addicts gets to gambling addicts can't change their perspective. It's better the gambling addicts find a means of staying clear from the suffering. Instead of hiding from people, they can share the trouble with a loved one, whom they think will be of help.

I totally agree that technology has transformed the gambling industry, making it more accessible and enticing to a wider range of people. The ability to gamble from anywhere and at any time has played a significant role in the growth of online gambling. The proliferation of mobile devices has also had an impact, as consumers may now gamble on the go. And the introduction of virtual reality gaming has added a new degree of immersion, making it even more appealing to players. It's a very fascinating and ever-changing industry.
But it's important to also note that the emergence of online casinos and mobile app can also create room for individuals to get addicted even faster because having the ability to gamble anytime and anywhere can also make them gamble anyhow. For those who cannot control themselves, this could be really disastrous because they'll find themselves gambling more often which could result to loss chasing, incurring more losses for themselves.
We can see how the internets gives an easiness to many business including in the gambling business. With the advanced of the technology, gambling industries improves their technology by implements the internet to their business and many casinos now spreads their business in the internet. In the future, there will be another changing on the gambling industries since there are many new technologies will be created, including the virtual reality that helps people gets a new experienced for playing gambling. They will use a new gadgets that will connect them to the site and feel the different experiences than before. They can playing gambling in anywhere and anytime they wants without any border. But this can gives more problems complexity because when people doesn't have good self-control or doesn't want to learned about controlling themselves while playing gambling, they will becomes addicted to gambling and that will gives a bad impact to their lives.

The more optimized the process gets the easier gamblers lose their control. Gambling at home helped increase the high rate of gambling addicts. This happened as a result of accessibility. Waking up next to our gadgets which leads us to gambling is different from moving from our home to the casino. Gamblers now had to fight the difficulty in controlling themselves from gambling on gadgets each day. Which seem quite impossible. Unlike in the past when gamblers after of period of thoughts can decide not to visit the casino, due to stress or transportation cost. Today gamblers suffer from addiction as the regulatory measures for figuring out underage player is not adequate.

Casinos have better advantage on finding out who is underage or not. Online gambling puts lots of risk on teenagers who have the drive for more money. And careless about their self-control. Peeping through the future, one could say that the fresh technologies wouldn't come with one that reduces addiction. It all gets better but facilitates addiction. Which is a problem to the society. Human wares enjoy a well-developed software a lot such that they can't stay a day without using the computer system. Hence, the more developed a software is, the more glued a player would be to his gadget. In a nutshell, the future gets funnier, but may not help in removing addiction.
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recovering gambling addict stories on: March 15, 2024, 08:11:05 AM
Or we accidentally find this videos, we are curious and then we try to find it out. It's not that we are addicted or not, maybe it's just to watch it and see how it goes. Maybe we can compare our experience with gambling and compare. Nevertheless, this kind of feel good stories and just like that, to refresh us and remind us gamblers the dangers of being addicted and what could happen to us. So don't take it personally if you think that you are not a addicted gambler (although I would argue that anyone here will not admit their addiction). But in any case, just take their life experience with gambling and at the end they were able to get out of it, and it's a happy ending.
I sometimes watch videos and interviews with addicted gamblers who tell their journey in gambling and their worst and worst stories. They answer questions such as their biggest losses, how they played for the first time and how much debt they owe to friends, relatives and neighbors. These videos allow me to learn many stories and understand exactly what not to do based on the mistakes of others. Still, we must learn from the mistakes of others for our own development. Of course, some of them were able to recover from losses and never bet irresponsibly again. And others couldn’t help themselves and continue to play until all the available money runs out, I don’t even understand what they are hoping for, is it really a jackpot that will hit them one day, thanks to which they will pay off all their debts.

Gambling addiction is a dreaded sickness, and all gamblers should find a means of staying clear from such a chronic problem. Hence, even the non-addict should take such videos serious and not think that they're safe. Anybody can become a victim, in just a loss of self control. Hence learning from the mistakes shown in the video is crucial for gamblers. It helps in identifying the problems once the player is gambling. Experience teaches gamblers not to get addicted. If a player has seen an addict undergo severe pains and suffering, he wouldn't hesitate on following some precautionary strategies able to put him away from addiction. The goal remains staying responsible.

Multiple information has been passed online about the problems addicts go through, yet we see new cases occurring. Hence, responsible gambling should be worn as a clothe against the coldness of addiction. Those who gambled on their funds away, lost control and wasn't able to hurt the session. They are chasing loss, motive, earning back lost money. That's almost impossible on a single session. They fail to understand that they've got another day to play again. It's not a one-day course. Contrary to such belief, leads to a downward course. No player made it big in just one day of gambling, it takes multiple weeks of consistency. Although, nobody knows what will happen, but, theoretically from examples, most players who won big didn't attain it on their first day of gambling.
627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can somebody make a successful career in gambling on: March 15, 2024, 07:51:24 AM
Impossible man. no one can make a successful career on gambling in any way. because gambling is very risky and gambling is not able to bring any stable income for someone. so if someone says that he can make a successful career in gambling then he is definitely in a wrong circle. Gambling should be used only for fun if one wants to take it as a career then his future is bleak. Gambling can never make one's career. I don't believe in this concept
What I believe is that it is never possible to build a successful career in gambling. If a person is addicted to gambling, the career is more likely to be ruined. If a person dreams of making money by gambling, it is a big mistake. If a person considers gambling as a profession  If he wants to choose as one, he will lose his wealth in a very short time. Gambling should be seen as our entertainment.

Gambling is entertainment as it's linked to all forms of sports and games. Players have seen other people win enormously via gambling and conclude that earning through gambling is the right option. They lie to themselves over the years and the period it took the other player to win big in gambling. Money is won yes, but not covered. In the sense that a player may not save up his earnings, he still continues to gamble as his main source of income. Since he doesn't have any other business to do, he won't stay idle, but play games and spend more money. Choosing gambling as a profession has its stage, and not a level for newbies to envision, yet. Many professional gamblers didn't start out seeing themselves as one. It's a rigorous process of strategic and critical observation of the game and how it operates.

Some focus mainly on slot games and derive their strategy specifically for the game, including money management. When the title professional gambler is mentioned, a newbie would believe the person wins every single time he wagers, no. It's just about management skills, that makes the gambler professional. He can get addicted, if he's not following his strategies. Hence, getting to the level of professional gambling requires a well-planned expense of the bankroll. They go into the game with lots of money, meant for gambling purposes only. This gives the player enough time to study the game and figure out how the house edge works in his favor and that of the casino. Then he can devise his strategies on ways he'll never run out of money while gambling. Nothing else, he waits for the big win day.
628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: March 15, 2024, 07:31:39 AM
Right, and it has to be a good therapist, not just someone taking this position. Ask people around for recommendations, or maybe google about a psychoanalytic professional in your area who has a reputation for successfully treating gambling addiction.
Ask yourself the true question, if you're an addict, are you ready to quit? No it's never going to be enough because we're humans and desperate for more profits. Addicts suffers from heavy losses, that's for those that have failed to comply with the measures necessary to pulled the essential deal. Gambling addicts will do everything to have the points accumulated to their end, when I talk about points, it's going to be crucial. We're all facing challenges and suffering from the crucial problems in the space. It's never easy sticking to a more improved form but it's definitely going to be a devastated state.

Addicts don't possess such luxury of self-examination; their thoughts are no longer in order as it was. Hence whatever goes through their brain has to be related to gambling and jackpots. Addicts also win, but careless on withdrawing, continuous gambling is a priority to addicts. They don't comply to any rules or strategies, an addict can go all in immediately he starts gambling. Playing for fun is out ruled in their jurisdictions. Funds are necessary to addicts, but not useful. The goal is to play further with whatever money they've got. Regardless of the aim for the money. An addict once said he slept in his car for 3 days, because he gambled with the money meant for gas. When the funds were sent to him by his parents, he wagered it all at once. And wasn't able to eat or purchase gas. This shows how gamblers are controlled emotionally, not to care for any other utility other than gambling.

Once the money is available the addict doesn't feel that he's made any mistake with his previous funds. Their consciousness arrives the moment, they've got no money left. And disappears immediately money arrives. Such problem gambling derails the future life expectations of the gambler and needs to be stopped. But this time not by the gambler. Like I said earlier, he's no longer under control. His impulses is clouded by gambling. All he thinks isn't right anymore. For instance, the man in the story, look what he did to his family. That's as a result of no adequate attention to his previous behaviors. I think that wasn't his first mistake or misdeed to the family. But they neglected it, because he's old. Every family with an addict shouldn't allow the player a breathing space of treatment. A therapist works fine in reshaping the gambler's thoughts to a better perspective.
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making decisions while betting on: March 15, 2024, 06:52:04 AM
I think that would be very important. Wise gamblers are those who can regulate their emotions while gambling. We are not robots who can play without emotion. But we must be able to regulate our emotions so that attitudes such as overconfidence, greed and FOMO can be controlled well so that you will not experience losses and become addicted to gambling. I think what we are talking about here is about reducing the impact of gambling addiction caused by us not being able to regulate our emotions. One way is that you can make several rules that you must obey. That will minimize your emotions controlling your betting.

Setting up rules is crucial and requires soft procedures, most players set up rules that are hard to abide by. The process should be ongoing and the player needs to enjoy it, to remain relevant in the game. Those rules are not just on winning, but other factors that boost emotional stability, like critical thinking and setting boundaries. Abiding by the rules on what should be done or not. Gambling requires money and players need to earn the funds before participating in the game. Not achieving the proposed goal, puts the gambler in pain. Which is a starting point for anxiety and fear. Nobody feels comfortable losing their money on what they don't understand.

Naive gamblers think that the wins are the payment for gambling. But forget that it's all a human activity and affects every aspect of our lives. So, regulating our emotions helps in being observant, and structural in all moves about to be made while gambling. Neglecting emotions fuels mistakes and reckless gambling. Leading to addiction. A gambler who has no limitations or goals can become addicted. Due to his uncertain belief about what works or not. Players who obey their rules, already, know it works in limiting mistakes like losses while gambling. Saving up money is also a way of earning money. So, it's important to be smart while gambling.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is best for a player to draw the line? on: March 15, 2024, 06:29:42 AM
1-when you lose?
2- when you win?
You have to stop playing in both situations. When you lose the sum of money you destined to gambling, you have to stop, because it means you have already lost the sum of money you could afford to lose. The opposite is also true, because when you win it's wise to cashout your prize to enjoy it, instead of spending everything in further gambling bets, which may take you into losing all your money, therefore, making your winning pointless, since you returned to nothing after all.

Some gamblers consider they should stop only when losing, and that is a big mistake, because it prevents them from having a good time using the money they profit from gambling. It would be a smart idea to use the profit made from gambling for investments purposes, so they could grow it into considerable sums of money, which can give them access to extra passive income every month. So, part of this income can be used by them to try their luck on gambling games in a sustainable and recurrent basis, without prejudicing their finances on long run.

What kind of investment will be sustainable for a gambler? do you think gambling with the profits is an investment? Gamblers have to deeply learn gaming to know exactly when to stop. No gambling plan or strategy is adequate. Hence, players must respect the process and invest in learning the game, over winning in the game. Casinos are here to stay, what's left for players is to stay learning. A times, stopping after a huge win is a better plan than stopping, but in some cases, it could be a wrong move, as you said. Because the player, in his next game, can be lucky enough to win again. Knowing this in a few days or little time of reading gambling articles, is not possible. Gambling demands consistent practice and observations.

The casino owners also update their machines to make it complex for gamblers to understand how it's running. Investing in other businesses with money won in gambling is great and fine, but not every player can detect a company that'll perform well. They can lose out on the investment. So, staying on the right track means devising a method or plan beneficial to the player against all odds.  If only the gambler is capable of holding his wins, and then focusing on his business, he'd have extra money to gamble another day, and less to waste. Spending the money on an investment diminishes the money, thereby leading the gambler to spend his money gambling, instead of his winnings. They are good for gambling, and also, for spending, but in small amounts. To save up enough for gambling next time, hence allowing the player to save up his money.
631  Other / Off-topic / Re: Know when to stop on: March 14, 2024, 10:38:06 PM

Every activity must come, voluntarily or involuntarily, to an end. If a gambler doesn't want to respect himself and stop his gambling session, lack of funds will, involuntarily, end it. Gamblers have different stages of stopping the game, some may continue with loan, and end up being in debt. While others may not be able to withstand the pressure of being in debt, they go ahead to try illicit means of earning money to finance their gambling lifestyle. These types of gamblers are not exhibiting, properly, a good gambling behavior. Numerous losses barely help the player to have a rethink, instead he keeps on trying till all is lost. Including his joy and natural lifestyle.
And expectation.

It will never give back like how it is in online gambling.
Then, we have the rake backs and the bonuses, weekly and monthly. Imagine if we could just play tag with online gambling or lose just a little bit of our capital. We can still be profitable because of their bonuses feature.

The bonus system doesn't guarantee a reasonable win, I don't enjoy playing with bonus, online. And a lot of gamblers have noticed how devious the bonuses work. Although, one should be happy to gamble using bonus, yet losing out in all, isn't encouraged. Like any reward, one works for it. The bonuses are as a result of a player's effort in meeting the required activity. Then he gets the reward and doesn't win enough or at all. However, it's also better for an addict to gamble with bonus than his money. He wouldn't bother about losing anything. Moreover, offline casinos offer bonuses in form of comps and it's preferable, also, proofs how unnecessary it is to wager with bonus.

Comps are used as money for food and hotel bills. Bonuses get easily manipulated by the casino. Hence, the physical casinos don't care about such bonuses, as they do to keeping their players in the house. It also opens a memorable bond between the player and the casino. A person who provides us shelter and food is more valuable than those that only give cash. They're both important, but the memories don't match. The casino players tend to go back to receive such treats again. It shows how motivating the comps is to a player compared to bonuses for wagering.
632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making decisions while betting on: March 14, 2024, 10:14:40 PM
As humans, it's extremely hard to detach from your emotions when making decisions. It will always be there even if you don't want it to. In order to not get emotions in the way of your decision making, you should start ignoring it slowly. It's a slow process, but if you're doing it consistently, you'll have no problem ignoring emotions on difficult situations such as choosing a bet between your gut feeling and what the numbers and facts say.
Exactly, people that advices that we should be keeping our emotions out of the way when we're gambling doesn't know how to be a human, they really think that emotion is something that you can easily detach like a toy that you don't want to stop playing. I wouldn't recommend ignoring though, the best way is to harness it, kind of like how you redirect a flow of water to a different direction, embracing the emotions is probably the best thing that you can do and most of the time, it's not really that difficult to do if you practice it and in terms of betting, you've got enough time to do the right decisions anyway, when you feel overwhelmed, it's always an option to take a step back and relax a little.

Emotional tension is the feeling that one can't achieve their goals in gambling. Players harness this tension, the moment they begin to lose money. And get sidetracked from their initial goals before venturing into the game. Emotions drags us to our goals positively or negatively. If a person is conscious of himself and wants to maintain responsible gambling, he wouldn't bother about detaching his emotions from the game. Fear goes with anxiety, out of fear the players will end up betraying their motives and goals. Then start up a method that doesn't sit right with the initial plan. Thereby risking the benefits their main plans would have provided them. Yet their emotions still goes with them, regardless of the direction, the player chooses to follow. Trying to be emotionless wouldn't yield much results, as the person begin to forget himself over what he wants in gambling.

Humans are expected to be their number one priority over any other activity. With no respect for oneself, they'll never be any sustainable success. Because the player tends to do things against his personal will or decisions. Like Op stated some factors, important, enough to keep a player in track. But most people who have come across the factors still end up not obeying it, due to the neglection on one's consciousness. So, building strong our emotions not to be easily sidetracked helps a player stick to the right decisions, while gambling. The only problem we face as gamblers, is that the writers who share these gambling strategies, don't actually teach how to achieve it. A reader can't become better by just reading definitions of gambling strategies. But detailed constructed deep learning process on obtaining those factors will help most gamblers remember and practice the method.
633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indirect victims of gambling addiction on: March 14, 2024, 06:32:09 PM
I do agree that accepting of a loss is a big part of realizing what gambling is all about and realizing you could lose is the best way to not get addicted to it, most addicts always see a light at the end of the tunnel and hope to win something, when you know that you won't and only gambling for fun, then that makes things a lot better.

Why would you gamble if you know you are going to lose money? Well simple really, why are you buying a brand new xbox? You are not making any profit from it, why go to a cinema? You are spending and not making any, why are you buying that new leg set? You are not profiting. All in all, we do these things because we spend money and have fun, some of us gamble the same exact way.

Your second paragraph explains the perspective everyone should have on gambling, is not meant to be seen as a place for any profits. Generally, gambling offers no profit, the house takes up a high percentage of the funds. Hence, gambling should be in the same categories as daily activities which require money to buy or participate. People pay, in stadiums, to watch football, and never worry about getting any funds from the management. It was all for fun purposes. When a gambler begins to envision a better goal of venturing into gambling he wouldn't blame himself over little losses. Paying for a service with lots of money enough to lower our finances, and end up not getting the quality we paid for, is bitter. What qualities does gambling offer aside from money? lots of things can be learned via gambling.

But people think money is an expected gambling quality. Yet they get it wrong. It's like buying a TV and expecting to have conversations with the presenters directly from the TV. Most gamblers think the house cares about the funds they lose while gambling. Hence, they try to get back at the house. Hoping to win big. Not realizing that buying more products with no motive of reselling will only get us broke. Although gambling is a recreational event but can be seen as a transaction between a buyer and seller. The wins we get during gambling are only for the purpose of keeping us entertained. The house offers them to extend the time we play games. In a nutshell, while gambling, paying attention to the amount of money we spend, like we do in the market, will help reduce anxiety and anger.
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the juice Worth the squeeze? on: March 14, 2024, 06:11:33 PM
First of all, this is not how gambling works and especially if you want to make money through gambling then it is not that you put more amount in a bet in the hope to make more money. If you approach it like this then there is a high chance that you will end up losing more money than winning.

If you really want to be a successful gambler, then you need to manage your risk and the risk cannot be managed if you put a lot of money into a single bet or single gambling game. Although there is no hard and fast rule on how much you should bet with, but if your approach is to become a millionaire in a day then you will end up getting nothing. Only slowly and steadily you would be able to gain some wins.

Gambling allows for any amount of money, but the players care for a bigger win. Hence, they are tempted to wager huge money. Gambling is a game that requires steady observation of money wagered and won. Empowering only the wagering aspect of the game, without a level up to know the ratio between the lost and won money, puts the player in a deep loss. It's never simple to gamble properly with lots of money in the bankroll. When a player is monetarily equipped, his goal will be for bigger compensation from the casino.

The little wins wouldn't matter, unless he's been oriented on the necessity of wagering bit by bit, regardless. Any player that ventures into gambling, deserves to know the crucial importance of bit-by-bit long-term wagering motives. Financial problems have led many people into gambling, which is not meant to be a criterion for becoming a player. Desperation instead of aspiration as a gambler, ends up endangering the long-term good results a gambler expects. Looking out for transient results leads to addiction.

Really funny act. How will you accuse someone of such when you never had them in mind if you win the money? If you make a mistake, take responsibility for what you did and own up for your actions. Don’t try to make anyone suffer or pay wrongly when they are entirely innocent. If I had the power as the judge, I’ll make them pay even more time in jail because it could have been an innocent person.

You are very selfish and a very bad person when you blame others for your losses in gambling. There is no reason for such situations, to be honest. What is it that just because you don't want to admit to yourself or to us that we are really the ones who make mistakes, we will actually pass it on to others?

From the beginning, we should not think that every time we play gambling, we will double the money we entered in a casino. We don't trample on other people or feel bad just because of our mistake.

I'm getting to understand that some people can't do the thinking, instead rely on the thoughts of close friends, before taking serious actions. Why would an adult get sidetracked easily to accept within himself, that his friend is responsible for his problem. It means the gambler wasn't thinking fine, about when all that happened. He wagered the funds with nobody's help. It's all a mistake, on his friend's end, because he discussed gambling in a non-gambler's presence, whose intention was to get rich via gambling. The addict is not a responsible gambler. As he doesn't care on fixing his life but focuses on blaming a friend for introducing him to gambling. Although, it's common to have people get moved away from their initial thoughts on the foundation that gambling has made some friends money. The player who accused his friend, may have never come across the instinct of becoming a gambler, till he met his friend. While the trouble is based on him, being observant of the type of conversation we give out to friends who don't gamble.

I think gambling is a controllable addiction because I can control myself, but some people cannot control themselves, like in the example you gave. Your friend seems to be a hopeless case. I don't think the advice you are giving him will have a positive outcome. If I were you, I would try to get professional help after doing everything I could. Professional health organizations that fight against addictions can help you. Specialized psychiatrists or psychologists will surely help your friend. They spend their lives helping people like your friend. We should always trust professionals and science.

No psychologist can change an addict if the victim is not intrinsically devoted to getting cured. Addicts deserve to have slight controls, necessary to work alongside the therapist. If an addict makes no effort in helping himself get healed, there's necessarily nothing any therapist can do to change the gambler. I think what Op is doing looks like a first aid. His advice can get helpful along the line, then directing him to a hospital or a psychotherapist for adequate treatment. As you said these people are excellent in recuperating a person's brain. But they won't obtain any success if they barely have a valuable information about the victim.

Gambling addiction of a person pretty much affects everyone he has interacted to. It's like a chain or domino effect that can impact one person, family, and even society. It most likely starts with children and family, where children are being neglected and family suffer from stress, instability and financially. Isolation from friends or social circle. Less productivity, absenteeism, or even theft or fraud in workspace. Debt and loans from financial institutions. Increased social problems from community or society like being homeless, poverty, family breakdown, affecting everyone as a whole.
Gambling addition we are talking of much development and the interested in gambling and the sometimes what causes such addicted in gambling is when you gamble so much and you are looking for a possible way for you to recover what you have loss in gambling that is what actually push some people into gambling so I believe that gambling have to do it reasoning and understanding when you have not understand the scope of gambling you continue to be losing gambling because when you try to achieve our actualize what we have spent in gambling you continue to lose more that is the system of gambling

The society puts lots of behavioral change on people as gambling does. Human brain gets emotional to that which bothers it, most people never knew a friend or family got addicted to gambling. But, when things get tough, they'll get sad and emotional then begin to act strange. Hence, the family member suffers much pain in the process. On the other flip, those who are not close friends to the victim can as well get in touch with him and get affected in the sense that he could be influential. Lots of people in the society where gambling thrives, must have involved in some conversation with an addict. Depending on the communication a non-gambler can start out gambling. Then, end up like the addict, who may have told him some wrong gambling moves, and made promises as regards to money.

Gambling can be a fun way to spend some time, like watching a game with some extra spice on the line. But anyone who thinks it's a guaranteed route to riches is probably chasing a rainbow.  The odds are stacked against you, kind of like winning every single carnival game – possible, but not exactly likely.

We all know stories of people hitting the jackpot, but for every one of those, there are way more folks walking away lighter in the wallet.  It's like that friend who insists on that scratch-off ticket every week – all fun and hope, until their wallet starts looking a bit thin.

So, the real question is: when to gamble? Here's my advice: only play if you can afford to lose what you're betting.  Think of it as entertainment, not an investment in your future mansion (unless you own the casino, that's a different story).
It totally matters with your own views and perspective and people do mess up their lives just because they do really end up on having that kind of wrong approach towards it because on the time that you do play
gambling and minding about on becoming rich then this is where issues would really be starting to come out or happen because on the moment that you would really be making yourself that delusional then you would really be trying out to play which is really that more than with your usual limit or simply with your budget. If you are that someone who do spend up a huge % on your monthly salary on gambling then
you are just basically putting up yourself on such tough issues and problems which might rise soon.

Going for what is bogus in gambling, is a wrong move that most players don't hesitate to make, for the sake of money. However, we all need money to settle different troubles, but this type of gamblers surprises me by wagering their wins back to the casino. What then do they need in return? Are they looking to shut down the casino with an enormous win? In the sense that a gambler also spends more than earns in gambling, still leaves lots of people wondering over the type of thoughts moving through the brain of gamblers.

Nothing else other than same mentality of humans, trying to get everything they've ever set their eyes upon. Refusing to accept that they may end up not getting those things they wish to get via gambling, lands lot of gamblers into trouble. Wagering few portions of our income is quite a reason form of gambling. It safeguards the wealth of the gambler, unlike other players who throw away their wealth in search of an uncertain wealth.

Sportsbetting is fun when you don't use the cash-out option no matter what is happening in the game. Be confident about your bet, and that is only possible if you have done enough research and analysed both sides before placing your bet, but if you have chosen a side randomly just because you think they are the better side, you will not feel confident and you would want to get your money back when you see there is tough competition, etc.

When you make your bets, close the sportsbook where you did it, watch the games and enjoy. Don't keep the sportsbook open, and be ready to cash out as soon as you see some instability in the game. That's now how you gamble in sports betting, at least I don't do it that way.
This is what I do as well, those cash out options are offered to allow gamblers to second guess themselves and make a mistake, and the best way to avoid this is by not pay attention at all to those offers.

Now this is easy for those that like to just make their bets and forget about them, but for those that also like to make live bets this is way more complex, since they have no way to ignore those offers as they will be reminded about them by the casino in a regular basis.

Sport gambling has been fun all along before the initiation of the cash in feature. Which leaves gamblers like Op wondering over the best choice to take towards the end of a game. Imagine the joy he would have gotten after the suspense, and he ends up winning the game. The feature has helped in securing wins for most gamblers, but its disadvantage affects the thoughts of the player, to think he's not good enough in listening to his instincts.

Don't know how well the casino benefits from such features, gamblers complain about this a lot. Funny how gamblers don't feel comfortable with any feature casinos add to their platform. Shows how uncertain every feature close to gambling is to the players. Hence, players need to level up and be grateful for whatever result that appears to them, regardless of the level mistake. It's a two-way street, and one can't move in both ways at once.

Informal education facilitates fast learning, as it's known, everyone is a teacher, but learning swiftly requires a good tutor, one that can interact with his students, ward, acquittances, etc., with no signs of scaring them away. Family is an excellent place for informal education, but most parents scare their kids away. That's not helpful in teaching a child. As a kid, I enjoyed learning from people I love, regardless of if it's a family member of a formal teacher. In any learning process, the teacher and the student must be in a quality relationship. Gambling is a broad topic and needs to be thought often to growing kids who are developing interest in the game. It's not wrong, provided they are up to the required age for gambling in their country.

When a child is not informed about the necessity in gambling, he would find himself in a tough situation, during his gambling days. Some parents don't ask their kids questions on gambling. Hence, lots of growing kids who may have been exposed to gambling, don't receive adequate counselling on such mistake. When they grow up, they'll likely become gamblers. Building a strong, quality relationship with the growing child, dissolves his hearths and lets him open up on everything he knows on the subject. Because he wouldn't mind, since the teacher is a close friend.
Teaching our kids about the real world, including gambling, is essential. No nonsense - just be honest and engaged. I completely agree with your point about the importance of a good teacher-student relationship. This is essential in informal education contexts like the home. Unfortunately, too many parents fail. They either scare their kids away or dont discus life skills like gambling. This is a tremendous error!

We must start with open dialogue. Parents and mentors must improve, participate without intimidation, and become trusted advisors kids need. Every element of life requires informed judgements, not just gambling. Without adequate education, our kids will cause major problems. We must provide them the knowledge and critical thinking abilities to handle life's challenges, including gambling. Simple: Inform, educate, and be a role model.

The parental relation diminishes daily, as the economy gets tough each day. Players who have kids, should develop the habit of asking effective questions to their kids. Generally, about their interests. Holding them to some pleasant conversation, builds them emotionally, and improves the child's intelligence in the most crucial means, which include asking quality questions. That's what saves the world today, questions. When a child forms the habit of asking question on things he's heard and don't understand, the parent will be able to figure out the kind of company their child keeps.

Thereby setting up a conversation directly on what bothers the child. Because in some occurrences, the child may not have been hearing or exposed to gambling, coming up with gambling discussion can introduce the child to gambling for the first time. Hence, this could be another approach, letting the child feel free to ask any form of question. Holding on to his interest and correcting where he gets the perspective wrong is super excellent in changing the thoughts of a child on a specific topic, including gambling. Note: If the child has asked question regarding gambling.
