621  Economy / Economics / Re: What did elon do wrong in Twitter on: January 17, 2024, 01:42:44 AM
Everything.
He actually started dealing with it like a business man, and put the price on everything. Even the tweets are now with a price tag.
He might get successful with that, but it has changed the whole theme of twitter. Now its more like a client-seller relation then the social media.
And the biggest blunder i think was the twitter logo. It was such a cute logo and an iconic one, which was changed by x.
i agree to this opinion to some extent, elon does do wrong by just going into the business oriented direction (well its a business from the start anyway otherwise he won't spend billions) and give price tag to everything, but it does speed up his money recovery, now twitter earning is compensated from that after losing so many advertisers back then there's no other way to earn money with the platform other than go into that direction, not to mention after elon bought twitter the sentiment against him becoming worse and worse and often he's labeled as a villain by some people.
even right now accessing twitter even to look at some thread require account sign in which might inconvenience to many people it just giving that gesture that elon himself just want to try to increase the userbase of twitter so to make money out of it.
the one thing that he fails though in getting rid of the bots in the platform.

He became the CEO and then fired half of the workforce that's making the Twitter function as normal as it should and then realizing the mistake then rehires them, the moment that he suddenly became a megalomaniac on that platform became a nail in the coffin for the people to hate on him not to mention that he's not funny anymore, most of the memes that he's posting looked like it's forced. And also the fact that he named Twitter into X, that added more gasoline to the flames.
yes he did fire so many people when he bought twitter but i think he has also replaced some work force with more competent ones, but we don't know for sure whats going on though its all just speculation at the end of the day but yes he become megalomaniac after owning twitter or is he already one even from the start? who knows.
622  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto investment vs real estate investment : Which one more dependable? on: January 17, 2024, 01:21:57 AM
Personally, I find both of these areas trustworthy. The point is that you must clearly understand your type of investment and the time to start is also very important. Crypto is more flexible in terms of investment capital, while real estate is the opposite in terms of large capital resources, even requiring mortgage to borrow from banks. The economy is going into recession in 2023 and may last until 2024, so arranging issues to choose capital sources and types of investment is important. I prefer investing in cryptocurrencies for this reason.
indeed the capital required should be the number one concern with real estate investment, not to mention that the investment time frame would be longer than cryptocurrency by some significant margin. if im being honest, its not suitable for anyone that doesn't want slow profit despite all the risk, its only suited for those with big capital that have no idea what to do with their money and therefore just trying to allocate it into something like real estate where it gonna retain value if not keep on increasing but for majority of us anyway with the miniscule amount of capital that we are having of course real estate is definitely out of option. even worst is that if we are buying the real estate with loan and need to pay mortage, even depending on income from rent is not so dependable if there's hardly anyone that rents since usually the property that get rented a lot also quite expensive in prices.
cryptocurrency is most suitable for most of us because the gain alone is already massive also to mention the fact that the investing time is significantly lower than real estate, basically the reason why cryptocurerncy could become so popular like what it is today.
623  Economy / Economics / Re: Will they ever be able to afford a house? on: January 17, 2024, 12:38:07 AM
Student loans, personal loans, housing loans, what other loans people are going to take? I want to have my own house but it shouldn't be grand and cozy. As long as I can live under its roof and there's a strong wall that can protect me in most seasons, together with family to keep memories while I am living in this world, that would be more than enough. I have my dream house as well but not to be pessimistic but accepting reality isn't going to hurt me that it may take forever until I get that.

In the past, housing was totally cheap and everyone can afford it because things were not as expensive as they are today. And programmes from the government were helping each other to own their houses and lots. This time, it's different, down payments can attract you but when it's come to the mortgage, you'll have to think twice because if you're not a hardworking guy then you're going to think of it again. While there's a new thing that many are seeing and ideal for the first world countries about living on the van and going on with adventures for a van life experience, some may just choose to get with that for very the same reason that apartments are expensive and so as the rents.
everyone right now is also expecting to have a house that is not too grand but safe enough but the reality is that even these house are pricey as heck, there's reason why many people saying housing is unaffordable if we can still afford small house its still good enough but nowadays even small house cost so much thats why young people across the world are complaining.
also considering the fact that such phenomenon are happening across the world, its mainly I guess because the population that always grow where habitable lands are staying in number, meanwhile there's tendencies that the successful old people that has been born ahead of us always trying to hoard all those real estate and housing for the sake of investment it just make things difficult.
the solution to this though, government should endorse affordable housing like maybe building more and more few stories building as an apartment and also limit the ownership of properties that should be viable solution in the long run tbh.
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 16, 2024, 05:02:15 PM
Frosinone has experienced around 5 consecutive defeats at Serie A and this proves that Frosinone has weakened and yes, they could be getting closer to the relegation zone if they don't immediately bounce back and collect points.

Frosinone previously also suffered a big defeat in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia by Juventus with a score of 4-0 and then today they suffered another big defeat by Atalanta in Serie A with an even bigger score, namely 5-0. I think Frosinone's defense is the problem here. Because Frosinonen is actually quite good at controlling the ball. Even their passing accuracy is 1 percent better than Atalanta. Unfortunately their attack and back lines are completely unreliable. So it's natural that they lose by a lot of scores without being able to get even one goal back.

In fact, there is only one ticket left for Serie B:

Empoli 1.27

Salernitana 1.27

Hellas Verona 1.96

Cagliari 2.33

Frosinone 3.19

Bookmakers believe that Salernitana and Empoli are already there  Grin
Frosinone is only the third candidate to leave Serie A and I think this is justified - they concede a lot, but unlike Cagliari and Verona they score a significant number of goals. As for losing streaks, this is the norm for the basement, just like winning streaks are the norm for teams at the very top.

Bookmakers have a sense reason for that. The current standing has been showing that if salernitana and Empoli have at least 5 points gap to the Verona which was still placed at the relegation zone. It makes sense if bookmakers were thinking that if salernitana and Empoli are already there.
Considering the poor performance owned by those clubs make me believe that if salernitana and Empoli will be relegated. We have only the last spot which is still unpredictable as Verona has 1 point gap to leave from the relegation zone.

Verona can go up easily as long as it can win the game at least two games. This is quite hard to do that but Verona has no choice other than try to do it. There is still enough time for Verona to make it.
I were also losing my hope for salernitana and Empoli. These clubs have almost zero chance to leave from the relegation zone. That makes sense if bookmakers favored all of them to be relegated. It's caused by bookmakers were saying based on the data.

Salernitana was always lucky enough cuz this club was always able leaving from the relegation zone but its luck will be fully tested this season. Salernitana needs a miracle to make it happen.

Empoli is also in a. critical situation too. This club needs to do something to secure a spot in series a next season.
625  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You lose more when you over trade on: January 15, 2024, 06:01:22 PM
I see your point, trading out of greediness can result to a failure, better to trade when you are well prepared and not just trying to add more with your winning streaks, there are many factors that will affect you, having that kind of confidence which most of the time reflects in making mistake, not saying that you won't succeed but if you are not well prepared and you are just aiming to earn more, it's a risky way of trading and can ends up losing your investment.
usually such trading out of greediness is because to compensate previous lose or we are so sure that the coin we trying to buy are gonna grow within short amount of time honestly if we know that there's something that gonna come up that might increase the price significantly such as news about listing and so on then its okay to be greedy with trading that coin but i think its not fine if we are making decision when we are hot headed because previous lose.

I've experienced plenty such thing and always further lose is what I get.

therefore indeed trading with cold head is definitely gonna yield a lot more result than being aggravated into thinking that by going all in we might compensate our previous lose, try to reason then we might find profit at the end of the day.
626  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Step you have to take before venturing into the market on: January 15, 2024, 05:46:30 PM
The first step for a newbie when starting trading is to stay away from futures and leverage trading because it's too risky for a newbie to manage and they can easily get liquidated without getting any profit unless they are lucky otherwise.
i feel this, so many newbies out there after figuring out that there are feature like future trading they try to do with really high leverage just because they think it would be great making some good profit within short amount of time but we all know that these future trading are so volatile and with high leverage even slightest price dipping could cause our capital to get liquidated, its these price dipping or sudden flash pump that truly could disrupt the plan with future trading and these kind of thing happened so frequently that I think if anyone try to leverage like 25x or even 100x then be ready to maybe gonna get liquidated along the way even though the general trend of the coin itself is rallying when we are trying to long.
627  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your advised for being a trader? on: January 15, 2024, 05:29:45 PM

I think using small capital will make the trader's mentality trained and then use large capital.
Not all traders can easily understand market conditions, it takes quite a long time.
doesn't necessarily true considering that people will small capital wouldn't even have the gist of holding so many coin and the market become worst of the worst thats where the emotion are gonna be exhausted heavily and also its quite different feeling compared with small capital since with small capital if worst comes to worst you at best can just rub it off because its just small capital you can just earn it from salary or something but with big capital like entire saving there's definitely feeling of regret as to why you might make some bad decision and why you even try to execute that bad decision like basically making decision because you're angry you've been losing and so on.
628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: January 15, 2024, 05:12:56 PM
No doubt with Cristiano Ronaldo easily to adapt well with new team in his career, he was good achievement since joined with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and Al Nassr without faced difficult with adaption. I don't know why have many top european players such as Karim Benzema, Jordan Henderson and Roberto Firmino can't adapt well with Saudi Pro League teams. First season, Cristiano Ronaldo have scored many goals with Al Nassr and his performance keep consistency until second season top scorer achievement awhile.
Left winning domestic league only will make Cristiano Ronaldo become success achievement and winning almost 4 domestic league tittle with difference teams.

We know how Ronaldo plays in every league, he is always full of ambition so don't be surprised if Ronaldo can adapt quickly, one clear example is that he can always take a place in the top scorer list and this is the 4th time Ronaldo has won the golden boot from a different league, yeah Ronaldo hasn't got it yet in the Saudi Pro League but I'm sure he will and Ronaldo is also in the top 1 based on assists, currently Ronaldo is 3 goals ahead of Aleksandar Mitrović. By the way, Aleksandar Mitrović is also one of the players who adapted the fastest in the Saudi Pro League and this is his first season but he managed to attract attention.

Every league? I never heard him to play at french league or am i wrong about that? Ronaldo is still leading the top scorer this season and it will always be like that. Mitrovic was the only potential player who can surpass him but since ronaldo will not able to play and it gives opportunity to the mitrovic to be even closer to the ronaldo's total goal in saudi pro league this season. I think that winning the league is much preferable instead of being top scorer. Ronaldo was the best player in the saudi pro league but it doesn't mean he will always able to dominate the league.
I think that he has been hearing that some of his friends will be leaving from saudi pro league like benzema. This is a disaster for the league caused by the image of saudi pro league will be affecting caused by this.
Im also thinking that if ronaldo needs also try to attract more players to come soon. If those players like henderson and benzema will be going to leave and it was destroying the snowball being made by ronaldo to make the league to be even bigger.
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 15, 2024, 03:00:01 PM
According to rumors Benzema wants to leave Saudi Arabia and come back to Europe.

What do you think? I think it is just a Bs, he is good with their lifestyle since his orings are there and he takes a lot of money ...

make no sense if he wants to leave-

Benzema is a footballer who has proven himself with many successes in Europe. I think playing in Europe has only one purpose. And that is that the player wants to prove himself against the best in the world. Benzema has already done that in the past. Ronaldo, Messi and others have done it in the past. They don't need to go back to Europe again. It makes more sense for them to make money in America or Asia. I don't think Benzema will return to Europe.

Many clubs have been linked to him recently but he has not yet given any confirmation regarding this whether he will stay or leave from ittihad. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-12964601/Chelsea-loan-Karim-Benzema-Roberto-Firmino-transfer.html

As some people said above that if some clubs were also interesting to take him as loan. You can say that those guys can think about how to make money but how about when they were not feeling so well in SPL?

henderson will join in ajax soon, fimrino and benzema have been targeted by the big clubs in EPL too. I think that the better if those guys will leave from saudi pro league even although majority of these clubs are demanding them as loan from saudi pro league club.

I think that moves to the european league was not a bad decision for all of them. They can still play there even without having high salary like when they were at saudi pro league.
630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will USTC hit 1$ again and be a stable coin ? on: January 15, 2024, 01:23:12 AM
I think people have lost confidence in Luna and its stable coin, even though there is an increase in these 2 coins, it seems that some whales are trying to pump Luna for a short time and then sell it again.
i have seen luna and ustc rise then fall back.
when it come to luna and USTC we should be talking about gain in percentage from previous all time high I think, its apparent that the coin has lost so significantly that the current pump is just some random miniscule pump not even worth mentioning compared to the catastrophe of luna and ustc dumping back then therefore these pump aren't really a sign of USTC going to $1 again. even if it did though it will be silly, a stable coin reaching $1 without even any reserve to back it up eventually it will crumble again in the future and nobody would trust such coin to fight volatility.
after all USTC has lost its main function which is becoming stablecoin now it has kicked out from the category of stablecoin basically making it some random altcoin with artificial pump, don't ever wish it to hit $1 again because thats unlikely.
631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Terra LUNA revival Imminent on: January 15, 2024, 01:11:58 AM
do you expect luna to come back?after the big fraud that happened there, we don't know the actual amount of money people lost, but if you look at defi, the value of the money lost due to luna is around 40 billion $, that's a huge value for a few days and it disappears entirely.
People already in crypto I think knew this news when it happened.

i don't know why people are still hoping for the revival of this failed and bankrupted project? if the terra team will manage to get some attention, i highly believe that they are in it for short term gain only. so people should be beware of their rug pull tactics. i don't trust these people anymore. but it is understandable if some of the old investors will try to jump in again, because for sure, their main target is to recover some of their losses. but for long-term holding? better not. that is, if you don't want a headache.
isn't the team quite literally already disbanded, the founder is getting some lawsuit, expecting terra luna to revive again is like wishful thinking at this point.
i mean even if it does pump its definitely some random pump orchestrated by some whales nothing more and at the end of the day that pump will end and we will see some sudden dumping to the market.
it has always been like that even USTC is like that too its basically overall just dying project nothing more, i wonder why people are so keen to make this coin alive.
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about Arbitrum future? on: January 15, 2024, 12:45:39 AM
arbitrum is layer 2 though, but im kinda pessimistic with these L2 coin they rarely rise that much after initial massive pump basically right now the ones that pump so much are always L1 like SEI,SUI, solana and so on even though lately optimism has been gaining some good increase, but doesn't this just means that if ethereum is rising in the future, even more so when ETF ETH approved, i think these L2 are also gonna be having some pump, maybe right now still right time to accumulate arbitrum and so on so holding it might be a good thing, but one thing for sure we haven't see any real bullrun yet.
if you think arb is good just hold it, because its indeed good, just like optimisim and aptos, but expect to see more and more L2 coming up this time around, so many l2 are created these days maybe it will disrupt existing L2 a bit.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it a legit airdrop or not? on: January 14, 2024, 01:10:47 AM
This day, most free airdrops doesn't give anything valuable. Although there are some that pay, even though they are very few. Most airdrop this days will incur some charges although this may be small. It may be ordinary Blockchain transaction charges but this still come with little money. Although as a newbie, spending much on airdrop isn't advisable but you can still try out some that come with few charges.
quite the opposite at bullrun like these most airdrops are really worth it, i remember tia staking require so little but gives tremendous reward like with $50 staking you can get $1k also there are plenty other like xai and so on that give good airdrop for those that willing to contribute to their blockchain, and as for recently its manta, some people that did the task easily get $5k.
its still overall a good opportunity for those that willing to put their work spending their time trying to finish some tasks but of course sometime its unavoidable to spent some money for the sake of interacting with the smart contract because usually these people that spent some money in the blockchain are considered to be more contributing.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you take out your investment when in profit? on: January 14, 2024, 12:33:03 AM
Usually I target only 10% and a maximum of up to 50%, but conditions will be different when a bull market occurs, you can get very high profits when that happens.
So adjusting the situation I think is the right course of action.

Yes, that is also important, but adjusting to the situation sometimes makes traders quite greedy. actually in planning the trader had reached the target, but he did not decide to leave because the situation was in better condition. but who knows the peak predictions?
If you can take advantage of the situation, you can do it. But never forget the target you have set. being greedy is not very good.
finding the peak is always more difficult than most pictured it out to be, because nobody have idea, some people might say to sell at peak but lets be honest here, even them also don't have idea when the prices gonna reach peak, therefore i call bs for anyone that tries to find peak, best course of action is having some target maybe if it reaches 30% increase then we gonna sell it and so on.
i've traded with most coin myself and sometime find myself regretting selling too early or too late but here's the thing, if we are still at profit we should be grateful enough at least we are not losing anything here.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: January 14, 2024, 12:21:05 AM
People tend to buy into altcoins because they feel like they missed the boat with bitcoin and trying to get rich quick on someone these other coins.  It's really greed that drives the altcoin market.  Take a look at these memcoins, they should be worth nothing because they are literally empty projects but they stay around because people are trying to hit a pump and dump on the next person.
well even the shittiest coin sometime might have pump, i guess thats just how it is with these coins in general, some of them might be some empty project but still gonna get some volume if recognized enough by some random people, but we must know that such liquidity is shallow, could definitely gone within few weeks. therefore its not recommended to invest in some shitcoin.
altcoin in general are indeed giving more profit than bitcoin or ethereum even though ethereum itself is altcoin but we are talking about smaller capital coin here and the reason is because their volume and market cap is still relatively low that they are easy enough for some whales to pump, i've seen various pump at this bullish season alone.
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 13, 2024, 05:42:12 PM
I am looking forward to the next El Clasico. Real Madrid is stronger than last year, and it will be more challenging for Xavi and his squad. The two clubs are extra motivated for the rivalry, and it is for the Super Cup championship. They will without a doubt give all that to bring home the championship.

The injury of Raphinha is a significant issue for Barcelona and Xavi will make essential changes. The fans are also mused on how Lamine Yamal will be used in the approaching match. The young kid showed his exceptional talent and scored in their victory over Osasuna.

The next El Classico match will be very much tough and interesting than expected because it is going to be the final of the super cup and each of this teams will be willing to bring the cup home. Like you said, Barcelona will have a hard time facing Real Madrid to win the title this year. Xavi have a lot of work to do to bring this trophy home. Not to talk about the injured players, their performance isn’t convincing enough to get them a victory. They need to put more effort and do extra work in the pitch for them to prevail against Real Madrid. They need team work now because that is the only thing that will make them better in the pitch and have an edge over Real Madrid.

Maybe yes, maybe no. We was always seeing how el classico became boring game and it must be noted that if this was not happening once or two. So many times i have thought that the el classico game has been degrading so much compared to the another game.
Sometimes, our expectation was very high and it makes me feel disappointed once el classico will not meet our expectation. I saw that how real madrid and barcelona played so garbage in la liga when it was against each other and im not putting very high expectation for this.
Seeing real madrid to win the game against barcelona is more than enough. Real madrid needs to get this trophy from barcelona. The club needs to try even harder in preventing barcelona to win the game soon.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 13, 2024, 04:57:07 PM
Too many chances which should have been goal strucked the woodwork and they was denied that. Most beautiful but yet hurting was the swaz done by Gallagher who was pissed off coz his efforts didn't go back into goals.
Loved the Cole Palmer and Raheem Sterling combination to get that spot kick awarded was a wonderful finish that was also from Cole Palmer which was also the lone goal in the game.
Cole Palmer is incredible when in front of the net and barely messes goal scoring opportunities and this is one good thing about the young player and thus has become Chelsea's highest goalscorer lately with 8 goals scored so far this season. Chelsea will create chances but face challenges to putting the ball in the back of the net, the same thing happened in their last game with Middlesbrough that led to their lost in the game. Two things Chelsea team really need to work on, one is on their defense line and two is to work on their front line player in scoring of goals.

That's awful performance from chelsea. Pochettino once again did another stupid thing. It seems he was fully trusting levy to play as a left back. I see that sterling and broja were so wasteful. they never able to build a proper direct attack against fulham.
Chelsea was owning the ball but it's playing as bad as usuall. The club was doing too many backpass and it was really hurting the club. Fulham was unlucky caused by chelsea was getting a penalty from referee. I thought that webb will not give chelsea a penalty but i was wrong here.

Pochettino's club was performing so poorly like what it used to be. The club missed many chances and pochettino doens't even think to create rotation in the club. He keep stick to use the same strategy till the end of game.
It's really strange to see that how pochettino was not doing proper change. Chelsea will be impossible to go up if it keeps show another shitshow like this.
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will be the next hype in crypto? on: January 13, 2024, 01:46:45 AM
its probably yet another smart contract hypes though, i just think that with all the innovation that always revolve around presenting a better blockchain with more capabilities especially smart contract based whether its EVM or some other its always revolve around that, basically in the future there will be other solana that are more technologically advanced and so on.
and its definitely gonna get followed by some meme coin getting created in the blockchain as well as some defi specifically tailored for that blockchain and as a result another trend and hypes.
its kinda recycling this pattern nowadays though, always new coin that gained massive market capitalization, then it reached peak, and then gonna repeat such cycle in the future.
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF approved, next Ethereum ETF? on: January 13, 2024, 01:30:20 AM
As Bitcoin ETF is approved, I think Ethereum ETF will also be approved. There have been news on Twitter about that. So we should expect it by May as thats the deadline. Meanwhile, I just wonder how ETH price might go against Bitcoin after then. But for now, I expect Bitcoin to be stronger. Although, I paired Both using Bitget smart portfolio to help me buy more of the weaker one as the stronger one pumps.
If you look at the Ethereum marketcap, in my opinion, it's just a matter of time for the ETF to be approved. Take a look, until now there are still many investors who stake ETH and do not want to release it as is the case with bitcoin which is increasingly in demand and wants to own it for a very long period.
In my opinion, it is the right choice if you choose Bitcoin and Ethereum as a long-term investment vehicle. especially if in the end ETH is also approved for ETF
also to consider the fact that ETH are heavily being invested by these company that fill the ETF for bitcoin kinda make it obvious that eventually ETH ETF would be approved its just matter of time and as OP said there's baiscally no reason to refuse it as ETH in itself is also having quite the market capitalization and trading volume.
I think we already can see the future of ETH but with other altcoin we don't know for sure but just thinking that bitcoin and ethereum etf gets approved will definitely make the market bullish though the effect of bitcoin etf approval wasn't as massive as i'd think i guess its like the usual buy at rumour sell at the news.
640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can`t see my ethereum in my wallet, but exists in blockchain? on: January 13, 2024, 12:30:37 AM
you probably used wrong RPC maybe you are using arbitrum or any other l2 layer or there's something wrong with the wallet, if you got private key maybe you can just import it to metamask and check.
after all if you don't even give at least ss of your etherscan and your wallet then its just gonna be all wild guesses here.
but overall try using wallet that are up to date and most used, i think for testing like this i prefer metamask since i can play around with the RPC.
but if the ETH still in your address from etherscan it means its not going anywhere.
