621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrency is better than fiat currency? on: October 09, 2019, 06:29:57 PM
I think in this modern age the question of “which currency should I own?” is something a lot of people that I know ask themselves when it comes to purchasing currency. There are a lot of choices to choose from such as US Dollars, Chinese RMB, Japanese Yen and many more, those are mainly fiat currencies.  However, all those currencies stated are all controlled by banks that regulate their value and are heavily affected by financial crashes such as the one in 2008. As a result sometime after the financial crash of 2008, Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum were created in order to have a currency that isn’t regulated by the banks and relies on how much trust we put into its value. Here are some reasons why Cryptocurrencies are better than fiat currency.

1. Cryptocurrencies are now becoming more accepted as a means of trade worldwide.
A few years after the introduction of Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, people around the world are starting to see Cryptocurrencies as a trustworthy means of transaction which means that you can go to most countries which basic Internet infrastructure and do business transactions using your Crypto Wallet whether a digital one or a physical one which means that you don’t need to call your bank in order to make your account accessible to when you go to other countries as Crypto Wallets are accepted anywhere where Cryptocurrency transactions are being made.

2. Cryptocurrencies have top-notch security and cannot be easily fooled
Cryptocurrencies use blockchain technology in order to make sure that there are no inconsistencies when it comes to transactions. If there are any inconsistencies with the transaction, the blockchain will reject the transaction and your money will still be in your Crypto Wallet.

3. Cryptocurrency transactions are secure transactions
As stated earlier, Cryptocurrencies have top-notch security using blockchain technology. They also keep all transactions on record anonymous as the only person who knows their Crypto Wallet Address is yourself and wherever you post your address link to.  You can keep generating new addresses if your previous Address is compromised.

It is good to share your thoughts on why you think cryptocurrencies are better than fiat currencies but I don't really think I agree with you on the fact that cryptocurrencies are better than fiat currencies. Cryptocurrency has good potential of giving financial freedom to people but as it stands now just a few uses it.  Cryptocurrency needs fiat currencies to survive in the financial ecosystem...
622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Fully Decentralized World is Possible? on: October 09, 2019, 12:42:43 AM
It is never possible to make the entire world decentralized. As humans as we are, some people will also love and want to be in control of the movement of things and will prefer to have a centralized environment where they are in charge of everything.  you think of this, do you think China, USA, Russia and other developed contries will like the idea of making the world decentralized ? There is no way they will.
623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Identify Cryptocurrency Scams on: October 08, 2019, 08:40:26 PM
Identifying cryptocurrency scams can only be easy and simple when you understand and know the qualities of a workable crypto project. Usually scam projects have unrealistic achievable  aims and missions. They don't represent any specific solutions to a particular problem in the crypto ecosystem .
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the fair rewards come out from campaign? on: October 08, 2019, 05:28:15 PM
I was planning to join the campaign, i asked one already join more than one, the answer is choked me,
Although the project not bad, he received only $6.8 after worked for 6 weeks is it fair?  Is it normal?
What you think?

This is really not fair but bounty hunters need to understand that the value of any ICO bounty coin can't be determined by its ICO price when it is not listed on any exchange platform. It might be that your reward is worth $100  when you do the calculation with the ICO price but when it is listed, the value might drop to a cent. You just have to know how valuable a bounty project is before deciding to join....
625  Economy / Services / Re: 🔥🔥[ANN] Crypto Adventure - Tailored to Your Needs!✅✅ on: October 08, 2019, 12:03:45 PM
Apart from the services you have stated to provide, what really makes the services unique and different from the services provided by other platforms?  And what are you planning to introduce into the crypto space that will help promote adoption of cryptocurrency??
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn free altcoin ?? on: October 08, 2019, 11:45:00 AM
I have been in the crypto world since a long time but i have not been able to make my portfolio and never earned anything...i dont have much cash that i can buy many different coins....i have only 0.01 btc right now Embarrassed
Please tell me ways if there are any to earn some different types of altcoins to slowly build up my portfolio with some valuable coins...

The only reliable and trusted  way to earn altcoins without having to invest is by joining and participating in bounty campaigns. Bounty hunting has improven to be most reliable way everybody can easily earn altcoins with less restrictions.  But most of these altcoins earn from bounty  campaigns are shitcoins and do not have specific value on the crypto market..
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stake vs Fixed bounty allocation on: October 08, 2019, 11:37:26 AM
With stake allocation you can get more tokens based on the stake and how many participants join the bounty but that's that, the reason why I choose fixed allocation over stake is because right from the start you've know how much tokens you will get and the fact is merely looking or comparing bounties from one to another fixed bounty allocation performs better, they pays most times and no single participants is left out, what do you guys say about this?

There are no specific differences between fixed allocation and stakes. Both are good for a specific situation. But I think stakes is better than fixed allocation when hunters for.a stake bounty are not many,  each hunter is assured of getting extra tokens. With huge number of hunters on one bounty, fixed allocation is far better than stakes. You are assured to have specific amount of the tokens even if the number exceed what was expected.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some IEOs could also turn out to be scam on: October 08, 2019, 11:27:54 AM
As an investor, i cannot participate in IEO conducted by small and new exchanges. The main reason why IEOs are preferred to ICOs is because they are more prone to scam than ICOs, and this is because the exchange validates its legality with their reputation. Imagine Binance or any top exchange conducting a scam project, it will jeopardize their integrity, and these exchanges do not want their integrity in question, so they only offer legit and promising projects IEO. New exchanges do not have the reputation to validate a project, they are just after the profit, SO they might promote a scam project either intentionally or unintentionally.

Is it that you just realised that? Well, IEO is just the rebranded verious of ICO. It is ICO 2.0 with all the features of it.  Investors just needs to be careful whenever they decide to invest in any IEO. They should make sure they do some research about the project and its realistic nature in terms of its aims and missions.  With this knowledge, you will know whether the IEO project is a scam or not.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts you won't invest in on: October 08, 2019, 05:06:45 AM
A lot of discussions on forum are all about "what coin should I buy? Why?"
Here's the opposite - I want to ask what alts you would never buy and why so.

My example:
Never buy BTT, Tron, Stellar and other coins where the tokens are giving away with all kinds of airdrops. Why? Emission grows with no influx of investors.
Doubting about Peercoin. Hybrid emission system doesn't seem reliable too, though lately PPC began spreading itself via well-known exchanges (changheangel or changelly - don't remember).
+ Libra. Not sure if any explanation needed.

You will need to provide specific details to why you are saying you will not invest in this altcoins. Statistics and facts are all that matters in the crypto space and market, this will help newbies understand why you think they shouldn't invest in the altcoins you have suggested...
630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Digital Currency can Activate Someone's Financial Freedom? on: October 08, 2019, 04:59:56 AM
What you need to ask yourself is, what does financial freedom means? The ability to control the amount of funds you can send and receive without needing the approval from any third party or central authority.  Considering what financial freedom is to the features and nature of cryptocurrency, cryptocurrency gives users an opportunity to be in charge of the flow of funds in their account with no restrictions. This defines the nature of financial freedom...
631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is Literally Hitting the Road on: October 08, 2019, 04:51:17 AM
The crypto space is gradually growing but the level of adoption of cryptocurrency into the financial ecosystem is not like that of the rate at which its ecosystem.  The idea of promoting crypto via ADS on vehicles and other public bill boards are great but people need to adopt using it for transactions than seeing cryptocurrencies as investment coins.
632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So what will happen to Bitcoin? on: October 08, 2019, 04:35:41 AM

But what about Google's claim to have reached quantum supremacy? History has shown us that the will of the people and the masses can never be suppressed by any new tech. Where there's a will there will always be a way.
What do you all think?

Bitcoin has been around for ten years and has not encountered any problems regarding quantum supremacy. These claims made by people on the account that quantum computers will be a threat to the entire blockchain network and blockchain technology do not really understand what blockchain technology is and how it operates. These claims are just FUDs
633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Incorect price on Coinmarketcap.com on: October 08, 2019, 02:27:53 AM
Has anyone seen this?

On coinmarketcap, historical value of bitcoin on 6th of Oct 2019 is 7,988.16 for Close.

Closing price for same date (checked on tradingview on multiple exchanges, and Bitstamp directly) was 7860 usd.

That's almost 2% increase for coinmarketcap. Wonder if they purposely screwing people...

I realized the same thing and I thought whether I had a problem with my internet connection since the price was still in $7920 for a while.  What actually caused that ? and what do you think might be the reason for that??
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: German Government adopting blockchain strategy on: October 08, 2019, 01:46:21 AM
I just read a news about German government adopting blockchain strategy, Will this have a huge impact on bitcoin and do you think other countries will follow

Any adoption news regarding governments having plans to adopt bitcoin and blockchain into their financial ecosystem has always a great impact on the crypto space.  It is great news that the German government is adopting blockchain plans and strategy.
635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's bitcoin worst case scenario if Libra will be successful? on: October 08, 2019, 12:58:19 AM
I heard people saying it won't affect bitcoin at all, and others say it might destroy it

I wonder what's your opinion about it?

What can be the worst case when it comes to Libra and Bitcoin?

Ethereum and other altcoins are very successful considering their market cap and volume but these crypto coins haven't been able to destroy Bitcoin in know way. Libra might have good plans laid out but it has no chance to destroy Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the father and king of cryptocurrency. Bitcoin introduced blockchain technology and this technology runs cryptocurrency....
636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can crypto Insurance be a next big thing? on: October 07, 2019, 10:58:51 AM
Crypto crime rate has increased significantly. An article in Cointelegraph stated that criminals have stolen around $4.5B worth of digital currency in the first half of 2019 alone.[1]
"The growth in popularity of cryptocurrencies has, in many ways, outpaced the infrastructure built to support it." [2]
Exchanges which control most of the trading volume and also act as a storage place for cryptocurrency have become an easy target of hackers. So, could insurance be a promising sector in cryptocurrency or there are drawbacks to it? What could be the challenges for both the insurer and the insured?

[1]https://cointelegraph.com/news/cyber-criminals-netted-43b-from-crypto-related-crime-in-2019-study
[2]https://cointelegraph.com/news/crypto-insurance-a-promising-sector-despite-caution-of-major-players

looking at the current state of the crypto space, crypto insurance can not really make any significant change or reduce crypto crime. It will be very difficult for an insurance project or platform to restore stolen cryptocurrencies. most of these situation  involve huge amount of funds being stolen and restore or repaying back such funds is not gonna be easy. The best thing that can be done to reduce crypto crime is an improvement of the security nature of exchange platforms and crypto wallet..

Well, you have a point there but I don't think you really understand the point and suggestion of this post. This post was to find out if having crypto insurance projects in the crypto space will be the next big project.  You should recheck the post and try to get what the post meant..
637  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Notice: Coinexchange is shutting on: October 06, 2019, 07:59:43 PM
Coinexchange is shutting down their exchange for no good reason....Guys please take your Coins/Tokens out.
The website and withdrawals will remain operational until the 1st of December 2019.

well, we thank them for their services they have provided to the entire crypto space. Its quite sad that Coinexchange wasn't able to resolve the challenges they were having. I just hope that users will be able to withdraw their funds before they finally shutdown their platform
638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of digital money depends on smart phone technology and people's knowledge on: October 06, 2019, 07:49:07 PM
All of us - the people present on this forum all know Bitcoin and all coin famous.
But I think the future development of digital currencies to replace banknotes or banks depends greatly on one of the following factors:
1. Qualifications and knowledge of the people. Because the majority of people today do not fully understand block-chain and technology. So if you want to use cryptocurrency like paper money today, all people have to know how to use technology
2. Smart phones - Must be integrated with technology to make it convenient for people to use
3. Simplification of cryptocurrency developers. How can people easily use like paper money.

And what do you think about my opinion?  Wink

I don't think I agree with you on this to some point. If there is increase in knowledge and smart phone technology and the adoption of digital currency is poor, these will not have any relevant impact in the financial ecosystem. The future of digital currency (cryptocurrency) solely depends on how people adopt to the use of it... Adoption is the key and the determinant of the future of cryptocurrency......
639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi? on: October 05, 2019, 07:37:53 PM
you guys know that the whole thing is called cryptocurrency and it comes from cryptography in a sense

so if someone that creates crypto software- what makes you think he uses his real name to sign something

i mean has anyone ever tried to decrypt the name Satoshi Nakamoto?

also another fact is - the 2 persons that did the pizza transaction are virtually nonexistent aswell, or has anyone ever met those 2 guys, just asking

So that leaves you with cryptocurrency invented by a name that might be encrypted aswell and the first transaction has been done by 2 persons that don't even exist

why dont you keep diggin folks?

Why should we waste out first digging for the identity or identities behind the name Satoshi??  It is not necessary if you think of it. It is not possible to know who created bitcoin. We should be grateful that the algorithm for the development of the blockchain technology was open source.
640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 8 Ways to Make Money with Bitcoin in 2020 on: October 05, 2019, 07:15:40 PM
The only way people can make money with Bitcoin is also through investment. What do i mean by saying investment? If you want to go into bitcoin mining, you first need to invest by buying computer hardware needed to mine Bitcoin. For ICO and IEO participation, you need to buy bitcoin first and later invest it into buying ICO or IEO tokens. It all goes down to investment.
