621  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: If you used Brainwallet.org - MUST READ! - Security Breach! on: July 06, 2013, 10:47:07 AM
Since the coins are already gone, please post what password you used for your brain wallet.    We can then confirm to you that it was a bad and easily hackable password.

Don't try to be funny and drop the wrong password, everyone will know immediately.

+1, and its not like he can use the address again...
622  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [UK GROUP BUY] ASICMiner USB Block Erupters (waiting to order) on: July 05, 2013, 09:14:09 PM
I'll take two if/when you're ordering more Smiley

Great.

It's probably best to see how yxt gets on over the next couple of days before I commit, but another batch is looking likely.
623  Local / Biete / Re: [GB] USB ASIC miner - closed and completed on: July 05, 2013, 09:08:55 PM
@alibert, @fhh: wait, you said you used the ztex driver ? I was advised everywhere to use the icarus driver! Did you compile your cgminer without icarus support, and with ztex, and it worked out of the box ? Please advise!

@alibert I tested with both btcguild and slush. It doesn't seem to be a pool problem...

@OutCast3k: I gave up on the Pogoplug NAS, not on the miners Smiley I made them work on a testing Windows box!

So now I've assembled a second Linux desktop, for running these miners. It's not working with cgminer 3.2, the miners become IDLE/ZOMBIE after some time. Since on Windows it worked perfectly I know it's not an issue with the miners.

Will try to compile cgminer 3.3.1, and if it fails too, bfgminer... It's impressively hard to make these things work!

Ah! Ok, well that's good to hear, happy mining Smiley
624  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Official ASICMINER Block Erupter Europe info & sale thread on: July 05, 2013, 07:00:24 PM
how the time line coming along? haha sorry i imagine its gonna be a bit of a ballache to do!

Can you imagine how many people that PM'd him too, and I wonder how many wont bother paying, or have messaged him, but have since joined a group buy (and paid) ....

if you joined a group buy you should contact the master of that group, not yxt

Sorry If i wasn't clear, what I meant was, people will have shown interest with yxt, thus reserving X amount of units with him when he creates his timeline... However, I suspect some of those people would have also joined group buys for cheaper prices (and paid). Meaning, yxt will assign order numbers to people who have orders elsewhere.

wow, that's awesome!

Mine will keep saying "Work stale due to stratum job_id mismatch";  "Discarded work", and "Discarded 2 stales that didn't match current hash"... and it won't submit a single share.

sticks get super hot, and the Gh/s indicator goes up and everything, but it just won't work.

I've done everything I could, spend the full day today trying to make this work ... so now I gave up...

Give me SSH access to your box via PM if you want (or add me to gtalk), and I'll give it a go. I hate to see someone wait so long and then give up.

*Edit* Second thoughts, I'll probably need root, choice is yours. *shrug*
627  Local / Biete / Re: [GB] USB ASIC miner - closed and completed on: July 05, 2013, 12:38:35 AM
lol if they really did I would never have received my miner!

anyone managed to get cgminer 3.3.1 working with the miners ?

Not tried 3.3.1 myself but I can confirm this guide mentioned earlier works fine if you are having issues

Updated original post.

Will you be prioritising people who contacted you via PM over publicly in this topic?

I can officially state that OutCast3k's group buy will be dealt with first Smiley

[EDIT] I'm not asking for favoritism or anything (well yes I am) - but especially seeing I was in yxt's original GB Smiley

I did show interest very early on both via pm (23rd june) and as soon as this thread was started, so fingers crossed we'll be OK, but who knows right now! we'll have to wait and see, if anyone from my group buy has any issues feel free to message me.

Thanks yxt. Look forward to hearing from you.

As i wrote: I still waiting for a few papers from German Authorities ...
This is the reason why I am not selling atm.
Say thanks to the EUDSSR and german bureaucracy
-----
The initial update from friedcat was surprising for myself.

I had no advance warning. I ordered shortly after >1000 units.
As soon as it become apparent that the ordered quantity isnt sufficient I ordered more immediately.
This was 4 days ago . Since then I have not heard anything from friedcat.  Cry

So I have no idea what is currently going on...

---

I still hope that the necessary papers arrive quickly here.
Although it is only a matter of form. But without I will not start selling.
My business partner is a attorney and has given me clear instructions here....

Without response and fast replenishment from China, the original plan, to
start selling with enough stock is gone. Cry

I will therefore start on the WE to work through all PNs
and assign Order No, so that everything is fair. Among the first orders
are a few "big fish", maybe private GBs... Huh

The users (according to the inventory) can then pay already. I will not accept backorders.
Especially not with no feedback from asiminer.... your wallet is your home

Currently I have ~1000pcs and sufficient packing material in stock.
I think the buyers from my GB can confirm that I have shipped quickly and well packaged.

The current situation is also very disappointing for myself!  Cry Cry
As soon as I have news I will post it here.

There is a little good news as well.
I have signed a contract with DHL Express today to push the price down.

Will you be prioritising people who contacted you via PM over publicly in this topic?
631  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Official ASICMINER Block Erupter Europe info & sale thread on: July 04, 2013, 05:50:17 PM
Out of stock. All of them was sold in german section.

This sucks. I can read German but I don't frequent the German section. It sucks even more for those who can't read German.  Undecided

YXT already confirmed this isn't true, so I would ignore what Mapuo said.

Out of stock. All of them was sold in german section.
Definitely not true.
632  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [UK GROUP BUY] ASICMiner USB Block Erupters (waiting to order) on: July 03, 2013, 09:18:42 PM
@badgersong @m14yen

If people keep requesting, and there's time, I may consider doing another order for a second batch of 50 units, we'll see. No promises.

2 more for me then Smiley

[EDIT] Actually 3 more for me

[EDIT2] Might as well start another outcast - I can see myself wanting another 8 altogether - have the coins for 3 right now - 5 more tomorrow...

It is looking positive, lets see if anyone else says anything first.

international registered/insured priority mail --> 8+ €
depends on the desired insurance amount, max 5000€
max per shipment 2KG -> 50 units

@yxt When you get a moment, can you update your post to clarify what the price will be to ship and insure 50 units (within the EU) at their full value (or/and at the maximum amount - 5000 euro). Thanks mate.
635  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [UK GROUP BUY] ASICMiner USB Block Erupters (waiting to order) on: July 03, 2013, 10:47:02 AM
No more new orders. I'm keen to place an order as soon as YXT accepts them and don't want any delays.

Those that have orders, or reserved units see the original post.
636  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [UK GROUP BUY] ASICMiner USB Block Erupters (waiting to order) on: July 03, 2013, 09:20:59 AM
For 12 units can you confirm the price e will be

12.16 btc

I will need to send funds from an  exchange to my desktop to be able to Send it from an address i can sign from so earliest I can make payment will be 24 hours from now

Confirmed that 12.16 btc is correct.

Yeah, probably best to send it from your own wallet, I don't mind the delay, your order is safe/reserved.

@NR3000 @IYFTech Payment received Smiley

@poochone I'll let 1 or 2 more people join the group buy, then that'll be that, I never intended on it getting too large, so feel free to follow the instructions on the thread I posted above.
