621  Local / India / Re: Indian Stock Markets VS Bitcoin on: September 16, 2023, 12:54:13 PM
think of it.. nifty falling 3-5% in a day and bitcoin falling 8%-15% in a day which is way riskier than stock market.
where there is a high risk there is a high reward.
622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: September 16, 2023, 12:27:29 PM
Please let's correct that statement about taking gambling as a daily source of income because it's really an impossible journey for one to actually think that he or she can make daily earnings from a casino and thats why I don't ever support such statements. Although gambling is seen as different view for different individuals but the fact still remains that it can never generate income on a steady.
That's why most irresponsible gamblers end up feeling sad and stressed. They want to make money every day by gambling, but that's really hard because humans have feelings.
it will be better to stop gambling and enjoy the life, little things in life. gambling puts your family's future at risk. Instead, try saving or investing your money.
gambling is like a coin toss - you can win or lose, but it's 50-50. Even if you win today, you'll probably lose tomorrow. and If you think you can beat the house, remember that many smarter and more experienced people have tried and failed

I can suggest some reputable crypto gambling sites for sports betting, which are trusted by this forum members.
on you already got the best one which is stake.com, It is the biggest and reputable site which in crypto gambling industry. you any deposit and withdraw without any problem.
I don't like the interface for sport betting here but everyone have their own interests you check by going to their site.
2. Sportsbet.io is another reputable site you will not face any difficulty in depositing and withdrawing funds if you are not doing anything fraudulent or suspicious activity.
I like the interface most i don't like their casino but sportsbook is best in my opinion.
3. Bcgame it is similar to sportsbet.io which is also trusted by forum members.

You can play and withdraw without any KYC on all three platforms, but after sometime they will ask to do KYC. If you are not very concerned about doing KYC then do it first after signing up then play, so you cannot face any payment or other kind of problems.
If anything you don't understand or have a question in your mind then all three platform have very responsive chat support.
624  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit withdrawal pending for over 16 hours on: September 16, 2023, 11:25:59 AM
my withdrawal is still pending. I have talked to 2 agents but nothing is resolved yet. Im trying to withdraw $996 and have withdrawn $974 before but it didnt take this long. I didnt win this money, I deposited it. 6 hours ago an agent said ''The withdrawal queue has now been processed'' but im still waiting.

it is a common situation for us, we sometimes need to wait for long to get our payment processed, it happened one with me with bcgame but i had to wait only just around 3 hours or so to get my withdrawal, when i asked to their chat support they said their finance officer check the transaction for any fraudulent activity then approve it.

Did you checked your wallet address on blockchain explorer OP?, that you successfully received your withdrawal in your wallet or the transaction is pending for confirmation?

634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keeping or recovering seed phrases during or after a natural disaster. on: September 14, 2023, 10:00:50 PM
I wish mercy and acceptance to everyone who lost a life in these disasters, and I extend my condolences to their families and a speedy recovery to the injured.

You can solve this problem by using a multi-signature wallet. Approximately 2 out of 4 would be ideal, and you can do the following:

  • Encrypt one of these private keys and place it in a secure cloud account, so that even if it is hacked, the hackers still need a second key.
  • Store the second seeds in metal and keep them in a safe place in your home.
  • Encrypt the third in the form of a hardware wallet and keep it in a secured bank vault somewhere else relatively far from your location.
  • Encrypt the last key and keep it in another state or another country.

add more keys as needed, but keep all scenarios in mind and then start developing solutions using multi-signature wallets based on that.

I have some suggestions to improve this idea a little bit.
telling someone about your bitcoin will be important and "riskier" because if the owner died in that natural event who will recover the coins?
here one backup will be at other country/state/city but what about other 3 backups they are kept in one city(what if natural disaster destroyed that city where the three backups are?)
//like your bank locker will be in your city,
//your metal plate will be in your city(which don't have risk of being destroyed but have risk of being stolen or lost)
//if your passwords for cloud account are written on paper and kept at your home(which is in your city)
635  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The power of influencials and brand ambassadors, don't fall for it. on: September 14, 2023, 09:36:48 PM

Fans really like their favorite celebrities because of the characters they pretend to be in movies. when these celebrities tell people to use a product, their devoted fans often give it a try and develop trust for that brand.

We can't really know what someone is like because we don't know them personally. I don't trust celebrities who advertise things because I know they are paid to do it. Instead, I rely on my own research.

Some celebrities promote gambling websites because they make a lot of money from it. But it's important to know that once someone starts gambling, it can be really tough to stop. People can lose all their savings, have problems with their family, and even become very sad, stressed, depressed.

636  Other / Meta / Re: The comment layout is awful here on: September 14, 2023, 09:13:38 PM
Honestly can we make a push to bundle comments directed towards a certain side convo between users within a certain topic to stack directly underneath with a collapsible drop down that doesn't move the comments all the way to the last page? I feel like this system is due for an upgrade and could use some more social media like elements. ...
I like old, simple things more than modern and fancy and i like this forum in the way it is. you are talking about this type of changes because you may surf other forums or social media more than bitcointalk.
maybe i like this forum because i made first forum account in my life which is this one. if i were previously on reddit then i like to visit reddit more then bitcointalk.
637  Economy / Economics / Re: Human Capital, An Intangible Asset for a Company's success. on: September 14, 2023, 08:47:34 PM
if you want to start a business in future then keep in mind that not only investing in your employees is important but also hiring a right person for right role is important.
how it will be like to giving computer training to an uneducated labor worker.
We can know many things about a person in a interview with him, like his past experiences, internships, questioning about the role, why he choose this field, etc.

I agree human capital is a key to companies success that's why apple, microsoft, google, like big companies gives their employees competitive compensation and benefits packages.
638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin User Just Paid Half a Million Dollars for a Single Transaction on: September 14, 2023, 07:28:20 PM
this exact topic of thread is discussed over here and discussion is already reached about 5 pages, so please OP lock this thread so we do not reply same thread twice or read sample post twice.
or you can move it to trash or archival.
639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ouch, today someone made a transaction with over $500k fee. on: September 14, 2023, 07:24:33 PM
F2Pool owner is now asking the community what they should do with the funds: https://nitter.cz/satofishi/status/1702095123981738437#m

Given how much PayPal are more than happy to screw over regular people for literally no reason whatsoever, I have no strong feelings either way what happens here.

So is it PayPal or Paxos? According to a Cointelegraph article, Paxos admitted that they screwed up the transaction. But don't worry, they can just "print" more Pax dollars to cover the loss!  Cheesy

He taken an example of paypal, means something paypal is doing with people is way bad than those 19BTC or 500K.
I also didn't know what paypal is doing that is not good. can you please tell us what you are talking about paypal @o_e_l_e_o?
640  Economy / Gambling discussion / what are the reputable casino with vault feature? on: September 14, 2023, 06:33:30 PM
Do anyone play on casino's which have vault feature (a wallet type feature where we store the crypto which we don't want to play with)
it will be easy to know asking from real users who have account on that casino. it will be difficult and very time consuming to ask about vault feature on every casino's support chat.
we cannot see the vault feature by just visiting the site, because vault feature is visible if i have account on that casino and i am logged in on it.
here are some i know bcgame, stake, bitsler, wolfbet.
please reply if you know a casino
