I have been reading a lot of comments on the bad situation at Manchester United and fans seem to be pointing the finger at Erik Ten Hag. I don’t like ETH but Manchester United’s poor performances cannot be completely blamed on Erik Ten Hag, the board’s decision making in the transfer window has a role to play. One reason for this is that the combination of Karim Benzema and Abderrazak Hamdallah hasn't clicked so far. Individually, these two are some of the best players in the world right now. But they seems to have an issue while playing together.
I cannot accept a performance of 5 goals in 10 matches from Benzema as good. Look at Ronaldo, he has 12 goals and 7 assists at his age. I expected Benzema to perform similarly, but we were wrong about this. Benzema is performing poorly, we have to accept that. Like me, he has performed far better than this during his days at Real Madrid, and he was one of the best strikers in the world; thus, I expect much from him, especially given that he is playing in the Saudi Pro League, which is below the standard of his former team, Real Madrid. But I have to say that calling Jude Bellingham the best summer deal might be a bit early, but I support that view! I've watched every Real Madrid game he's played in and cant deny his effect. Its not easy for someone his age to go from playing middle to being a key attacking force. I wasnt sure about him because Real already has a great team, but he's fit right in. I think he's not only on the way to becoming a big name, but also a football hero if he keeps going in this direction. I saw the game against Rayo Vallecano, and even though there were no goals, his play was a bright spot in what was otherwise a difficult game for Madrid.

Athletic Bilbao managed to come out of a tough Villareal away with a win. The away team started the match fast and scored 3 goals in the first half to take the lead. Liverpool indeed belong to the Champions League normally. But their performance in the Premier League wasn't impressive last season. It was quite late when they started to make improvement and they ended up with the Europa League afterwards. Currently they are in good shape unlike that season.
Last season, they suffered injury problems at the beginning of the season, and selling some players also affected their performance because the players they bought to replace the ones that left did not quickly adapt to the Premier League that was why they were flopping at the beginning of the last season, but when they get themselves at the end, they perform well and secure a spot in the Europa League. Their priority would be to be competitive for the Premier League title of course. However I still don't expect them to have any concentration issues in the Europa League either.
They have a good opportunity ahead to win a title so I think they would go for it. Klopp would do some rotation from time to time to deal with a tight schedule but they would still stay strong I believe.
It is unlikely that Liverpool will win the Premier League this season.
