621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not perfect, and that's okay. on: November 09, 2023, 12:29:19 PM
Bitcoin is not perfect and so is every other innovation man has created.
Not perfect in the sense that it has pros and it also has cons.
-snip-
Not perfect because they don't have to control Bitcoin like they do in fiat currencies.
Bitcoin will not be perfect for them forever as long as Bitcoin is still present in all transaction activities. They don't want to acknowledge Bitcoin by saying various negative things, for me it doesn't matter because Bitcoin continues to be active either as currency in every transaction or as an investment asset.
The stronger they create FUD on Bitcoin, the more Bitcoin continues to gain trust.

Will it Hold? BTC Targets $40,000
The market is in a state of recovery from red, at least the recovery started in October and according to the current state of the market it can be said that it is still surviving with quite good changes.
Now it is very possible for Bitcoin to reach a price of $37k because the trading price level at least when I made this post was $36,699.34 with an increase of 3.7%.

The accurate answer is whether it will last and will target $40,000. In my opinion, it depends on the circumstances without ignoring bad habits that can occur at any time. For now, the goal of reaching $40,000 is very possible.

I use myself as an example, be for I started to acquire knowledge about Bitcoin, I first bought some amount of Bitcoin and held it in my personal wallet, not an exchange wallet, and I had my wallet keys properly saved, and after that, I became more active innthe forum and reading comments and posts and doing other bitcoin related research,  and that made it easy for my to accumulate more bitcoin while studying, and this has helped me in much greater ways and I thought it could help others here, most especially newbies.

-snip-
Storing Bitcoin in a personal wallet and not on an exchange is correct. Even if you feel that you are correct in how you store the key or seed phrase, according to experience, efforts to store the key must be reviewed every time to ensure that the method of storing the key has been proven correct.
The bitcointalk forum provides a lot of knowledge for those who are active and serious about getting knowledge about the things they want to get.
Not specifically for beginners, those who are no longer beginners sometimes cannot feel the benefits of this forum if they are not serious about making the forum a space to gain knowledge about Bitcoin and other things that are available in various discussions.
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 08, 2023, 11:59:07 AM
In the Arsenal vs Sevilla game, a lot of factors will determine if they win because I don't see them finding it easy to secure three points if they don't consider them. some of those factors to me are; benching Raya and starting Ramsdale, using their first eleven ( those who are fit). I don't understand why Arteta starts good players like Fabio Viera, Leandro Trossard and even Thomas Partey from the bench because these players play a very good game and asides from Martin Odegaard that shoots from outside of the box atimes, there's no player who knows how to do that like Thomas and take Man City for instance, be it a big or small game, you'd see him starting most of the big boys as believes no game is to be treated with kid gloves.
Sevilla lost to Arsenal and although the Gunners played good football, Sevilla also pressed them and would have drawn the game if their last chance before the end of game had not gone begging.
For me, Sevilla in the fourth match against Arsenal is no longer a match that they will seriously try to win. Sevilla's winning trend is not very good in the Champions League and in La Liga.

Sevilla's visit to the Emirates Stadium benefited from injuries to several Arsenal players. Maybe I was wrong in saying that Sevilla will not be serious in this match. Let's just say Sevilla is serious. If Sevilla wins, their points will be equal to Arsenal. Both collected 6 points. Another match between PSV and Lens could also change Sevilla's situation because if Lens manages to get 1 point at home to PSV, Lens' points will be the same, namely 6.
I would say, betting on this match is prone to losing.
625  Local / Ekonomi, Politik, dan Budaya / Re: Kesenjangan Ekonomi & Dampak Pada Ketidaksetaraan Sosial on: November 08, 2023, 11:36:51 AM

626  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: November 08, 2023, 10:55:44 AM
Those that keep their gambling habit a secret is it that they're not proud of what they are doing?.
You have said it yourself that we live among people who have different views in assessing things. There are differences in the behavior of the people around you that are difficult to generalize.

Those who hide and keep their gambling habits secret get different answers. I have my own view that I did this not because I was afraid of being found out, but because I respect other people who don't do it.
Because I am among people who do not all gamble like me.
Respect them and I will also get the same treatment from them.
627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 07, 2023, 05:53:37 PM
I’m looking forward to the games tonight, as usual Group F takes centre stage. Dortmund vs Newcastle and AC Milan vs PSG the most exciting games.
Because the two matches do not coincide at the same time, we can enjoy both matches.
The Dortmund vs Newcastle match which is currently underway, I don't think Newcastle will experience too much difficulty at Signal Iduna Park. As we can see now, Dortmund started stepping on the gas from the early minutes in search of a quick goal.
The first five minutes have passed.

We’re getting to the business end of the group stage now. Every point is precious to teams trying to advance to the last 16.
Every point is very important because it can revive hopes of qualifying from the group.
AC Milan must use all its strength to win over PSG later.
628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you cope with those around you not believing in you for choosing Bitcoin? on: November 07, 2023, 05:11:01 PM
Pretty much self explanatory.  How do you do it?
Don't really care about those in the surrounding environment when it comes to decisions made, including decisions about choosing investments. Those who know me are in the Bitcoin interaction space every day even though his view is a little condescending, I don't care about it.
My life, I live it. Regarding social matters, I do what is appropriate for living in the surrounding environment.

I choose Bitcoin, that's my decision. They didn't choose Bitcoin, that's their right.
If they finally came to me and asked to explain everything about Bitcoin being my choice, I would wonder how far they wanted it from me.

Privacy related to my Bitcoins, I will always keep them confidential.

Like luxury goods and luxury cars, you don't need a lot of advertising, interested people will come by themselves.

Bees never tell anyone that honey is sweet, only those who know and are interested will understand the taste.
Luxurious appearance still does not necessarily mean good quality. Good quality goods with a unique appearance, even though they are expensive, are of course people who know their advantages and will buy them and make good use of them.
Bitcoin is unique. The uniqueness of Bitcoin is that it can make its owners continue to want large amounts of Bitcoin.

For people who want to use Bitcoin as money, they can. People who want to make it as an investment can also.
Other people who see this item will definitely ask questions because they are curious about the uniqueness of Bitcoin.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 07, 2023, 04:23:52 PM
It seems to me that Chelsea won quite naturally and predictably. Firstly, Chelsea is a strong team and their level of play is much higher than that of Tottenham. secondly, the preparation for the match in Chelsea is a level higher. and finally, let's not forget about the fans. Chelsea fans create such an atmosphere that anyone will play at their best.
Yes, Tottenham had 9 players but that's no excuse. It's your own fault. Poor preparation and lack of experience..
The referee in charge of the Tottenham vs Chelsea match which saw Tottenham lose 1-4 at home was not Simon Hooper but Michael Oliver. Luckily they didn't blame Oliver for the red cards given to two Tottenham players. If Hooper had served as referee in this match like in Week 7 of the Premier League vs Liverpool, perhaps Romero's hard tackle which endangered Chelsea players would not have received a red card.

Chelsea won with a reasonable score because it was in accordance with the quality of the game given by the entire team, not because of the referee's help so that Chelsea could win or not because of a robbery. If VAR had not canceled Chelsea's two goals, a score above 4 could have happened.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice for new comers on: November 06, 2023, 01:52:43 PM
What advice do you have for newcomers diving into the world of crypto gambling? Any lessons you learned the hard way that you'd like to share?
Just like playing at gambling using fiat currency. Register an account, deposit to be able to play and withdraw if you need it when you win.
Select the type of crypto you will make a deposit. At the casino where you have registered an account, you will definitely see the type of crypto option you will choose to make a deposit.

There is nothing difficult that I can tell you.
If you want advice, know that gambling involves losing and winning. Don't be disappointed if you lose because winning is difficult to achieve continuously.
632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fund for Bitcoin promotion on: November 06, 2023, 12:55:03 PM
Is there some group which collects funds for Bitcoin promotion? If some group like this can create advertisements for Bitcoin, more people can become aware. Such mediums should be targeted which have reach on audience that is still not familiar with crypto.
In almost every country the name Bitcoin is known. Who did it? how it happened and how much money was poured into making Bitcoin famous throughout the world, even legislative members were willing to spread out a piece of paper that said Buy Bitcoin in official meetings.
Bitcoin continues to be talked about day after day at every opportunity and for me it is the group that made Bitcoin famous without spending any money to promote it.

Bitcoin is a valuable asset. People are looking for it and want to have it. Only people in the anti-Bitcoin circle continue to hate even though we can't get into their hearts, but we can feel that behind their anti-Bitcoin attitude they really want Bitcoin.
633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 06, 2023, 12:36:53 PM
Because Real Madrid is his dream club and Real Madrid really likes Kylan Mbappe regardless of age and white hair. Also don't care about the official statement issued by Real Madrid regarding the rumors about Mbappe and Real Madrid.
Please continue. Ha ha ha. The image editor is great.

You see, Real Madrid needs a striker and when the transfer window opens again, it is very important to recruit players in the attacking position. Bellingham, who is currently the club's top scorer for the time being, will not always be able to score goals in every match.
It doesn't have to be Kylan Mbappe, but a player who has good playing vision on the front lines.
There has been a lot of speculation regarding Mbappe future in the media, so Madrid feels the need to make an official statement regarding his current position. There is no contract extension at PSG and no offer from Real Madrid, meaning all clubs have the opportunity to sign him when the player's contract ends. Madrid really needs an ideal striker but it doesn't have to be Mbappe, I really agree with you.
Personally, Kylan Mbappe really wants to wear the Real Madrid uniform and win the title with a club that has a big history in the Champions League. Real Madrid's statement regarding the circulating issue which continues to be linked to Mbappe should indeed be issued an official statement so as not to disrupt the team's atmosphere in competing in every competition.
You are right Imamusma that there is no contract extension at PSG, Real Madrid still has the opportunity to take him to Santiago Bernabeu.

Perez certainly has a list of players he is targeting in the transfer market, the main priority scale that must be addressed is not only the front line, reportedly the right-back sector is also included in the plan. Furthermore, the entire transfer plan must of course be in line with the coach they will appoint at the end of the season, because we know Ancelotti will leave when the season ends.
There are indeed problems at right-back, but in my opinion the main focus in looking at Real Madrid's performance so far is on the front line.
Joselu is quite an option when a deadlock occurs in every important match. With the availability of several players in the CF position, Ancelotti will find it easier to formulate strategies. Maybe not only for Ancelotti, but it will help when Real Madrid has a new coach.
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 05, 2023, 04:57:19 PM
No need to discuss about Mbappe transfer to Real Madrid because there's already an internal agreement where Mbappe will join Real Madrid in the next 40 years. It doesn't matter whether he's already old and has a white hair, the point is Mbappe will join Real Madrid.

635  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin total supply, halvings and future supply left for miners on: November 05, 2023, 04:23:56 PM
After the four years cycle from 2032 to 2036, 99.21% Bitcoin in total supply will be mined by miners. Since 2036, after a halving in 2036, only less than 0.8% bitcoins in total supply is available for Bitcoin miners to get it from mining.
Miner rewards may also change if Bitcoin continues to be actively mined until it runs out.
Of the total circulating supply, it has reached 19,534,037 BTC (93%) and still remains 1,465,963 of the 21 million maximum limit according to marketcap data.
It doesn't really matter where it is stored and who has the number of Bitcoins if we add up to 19,534,037.
When Bitcoin is scarce, at that time Bitcoin will ... ...
I think, as Bitcoin decreases in supply, the most important thing I need to think about is how much Bitcoin I hold.

DYOR.

Awan putih yang cantik. Nama yang unik.
Menurut agan, cocok diskusi ini disini?
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the best advice or should I just let him on: November 05, 2023, 03:35:28 PM
I'd like to ask the community I have a newly moved neighbor he is a widowed senior citizen and he lives alone with a house helper, all his children are now professionals and he is a pensioner, we talked a lot about many things  I just noticed that he is very active on online casinos and other gambling activities like lotto and cock fighting every weekend, his children do not know his activities and I'm afraid he is getting addicted.

Should I give him advice on how to manage his gambling activities or I just let him since he is just enjoying his senior years and doing things that he missed doing when he was still young? and what's the right approach, we all know senior citizens are sensitive to criticism.
She was still energetic and her skin was still tight even though she was an elderly widow. He also likes exercising. Is it true?

If he needs advice, it would be good for you to explain how to manage gambling activities. If she doesn't ask you, be a good neighbor who is ready to help when she needs help because she still has children who are ready to look after the old widow.
If you care about him, monitor him and call him out when his gambling activities go astray.

The question now is, was Manchester United lucky today or should I appreciate their hard work throughout the match?
I don't know, I consider them lucky because a few moments after I said they played like a team that had no vision when playing, their captain scored a goal with a complicated process and was almost pushed over by the Fulham goalkeeper.

Maguire performed well in defense, Andre Onana too. Alejandro Garnacho also gave his best even though in the end Bruno was the very hero of Manchester United's victory tonight. Congratulations to the fans, you have to watch this team until the end once again.
Maguire is good because he has learned how not to panic when facing pressure even though he often repeats bad habits when Fulham's forwards press the Manchester United defense.
Maguire and Onana were good and lucky in the second half because I watched the Fulham vs Manchester United match in the second half.
639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you rather make your investments in FIAT or CRYPTO? on: November 04, 2023, 03:51:41 PM
The crypto market has an high level of volatility, anyone who is about to make an investment need to have a good understanding of the volatile market. Now the question is even with the volatility will you still choose crypto over fiat when it comes to making investments?
It depends on the type of crypto because not all crypto is suitable for investment.
The mention of crypto is too general because there are many types, starting from Ethereum to the bottom of the marketcap list.
If you mention the many types of crypto, people reading can decide.
One thing that will definitely be my answer is that Bitcoin is my favorite choice for investing than fiat.
Investing in Bitcoin can provide a hedge against fiat currencies.
640  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which exchange has the most easy to use app according to you ? on: November 04, 2023, 03:12:44 PM
Let us discuss on this thread about the crypto apps that you find most easy to use. Based on my personal experience, for international use, binance has the most user friendly apps . There are lot of features on this app that are useful to users like one can convert one coin to another with single click without any charges.
International usage experience, binance is the easiest for me to use. Apart from Binance Exchange, I also use local exchanges for trading. The local exchange that I like the most is tokocrypto. There are many local exchange options available and registered under government regulations because my country only allows crypto as a commodity asset, but the exchanges I mentioned have the ease of use that I feel.

Both require users to complete KYC to be able to trade.
Tokocrypto makes it easy because it provides IDR pairs. If Binance doesn't have a BTC/IDR pair, it only provides a BTC/BIDR pair.
