621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you actually using/buying NFT's, and Gaming Tokens? on: January 19, 2022, 01:53:21 PM
If you think buying bitcoin is understandable but you draw the line on NFT or play to earn tokens then you need to reconsider your ideas. Bitcoin doesn't make sense to some 77 year old guy who barely can use a smart phone as well.

But we all know it is great, because we understand the tech behind it. If you are looking at NFT and say that is stupid, then you need to learn more about it.
Yeah, obviously, the reality is that there are MANY stupid NFT projects and play 2 earn projects, but there are a lot for regular cryptocurrencies or tokens as well, thousands of idiotic coins are out there. So, it is not about the idea or the method, it is about which project we are talking about. I rather own axies then some horrible fake shitcoin. That doesn't mean I will put all my money into axies, it just means I like the project, and the way it is done doesn't bother me.
622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 19, 2022, 08:31:53 AM
India vs South Africa ODI series begins tomorrow; Mark your calendar for placing bets in advance (fixtures). I consider India would be the favorite but South Africa may continue their fight from the morale they got through test series.
South Africa just won the toss and decided to bat first. I guess toss must be too crucial on South Africa pitches as slow down will be possible later on which might be a concern for the teams batting second. After toss, I have placed my bet on South Africa but before that I was in plan to bet on India but the playing eleven line up is not convincing me. Mohamed Siraj is missing this match as well and Shikhar Dhawan is still in India team. Okay, overall, let me see how my luck will work today.
623  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy Crypto Or Have Fun Staying Poor! on: January 19, 2022, 06:15:47 AM
The words are fact.I had seen many people who is poor and became a middle level and upper level from poverty line.Only thing is, they need to buy a good amount of crypto at the price of dump one. If you buy maximum amount of count will be good. When people found the high value in the market. They need to fix their mind with minimim profit and get huge from it. Nearly 70 percentage of poor moved to normal level from their poor stage.
Yes that is the truth, I’ve seen so many people who were able to start living a better life and escape from poverty through Bitcoin. Although it is usually not easy, and it is never the same story for everyone that invest in Bitcoin, but I believe that anyone who makes a proper plan for themselves to achieve something through Bitcoin, would always achieve it.

And that is the same thing with me, I was able to help myself through Bitcoin investment. Before I started investing in Bitcoin, my life wasn’t really as it is now, and things were quite difficult. But, when I discovered Bitcoin, I planned myself and I did proper research to fully understand it, and I was able to help myself through Bitcoin. So I believe that anyone else can also do the same thing.
624  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital asset is for holding on: January 18, 2022, 09:56:01 PM
Aside from equipping yourself knowledge and skills necessary for investment, it is also needed to assess yourself how long you are planning to hold and wait for your funds to mature. It is really necessary to ask yourself this thing because it could define how would your investment run the moment you decided to dive into it. Some prefer to hold for the short term only as they have limited resources and have the time to manage and monitor their funds. These people who prefer this kind of short term investment have the skills needed in order for their money to cycle up in most possible ways. Some just like to have and receive their profit easily and then repeat the flow to generate income. This is a good thing especially if you have minimal starting capital.
Predicting how long you could realistically stay in the crypto investment world is the first thing you could do, secondly how much you could put in there each month. I have done this long time ago and it has changed the way I invest and make money. I have to say, it is not making me super rich of course because I am not rich and I can't put that much money into crypto all the time, but it has allowed me to have a much better % than I ever had before.

Literally just these 2 things, knowing how long I can hold it, and knowing how much I can put in each month. Americans like to fill their 401k, Europeans like to do something else, every nation has their monthly retirement fund type of deal, whereas not many people think of bitcoin that way. Imagine putting just 10% of your salary into crypto each month, you would have been wealthy by now. I am hoping to be one in 10-20 years thanks to this method.
625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fear is not Real. on: January 18, 2022, 09:21:16 PM
Overcoming fear when it comes to any crypto related stuffs is a big challenge that is not easy to be overcome as a newbie, personally as a newbie I feared whenever the  the price of bitcoin is dumping and consequently sell off my coins then, however with time and experience I began to hodl my assets having studied how price dumped as well recovered in the past that historical events had allay all my fears in any event of price dumping while having confidence of price recovery, infact with reference to charting analysis it very obvious that price always bounce back after correction.
Investing in Bitcoin the first time wasn’t really an issue for me, because I was already investing in some stocks, and with the experience  I have had with the stock market, I was expecting to have similar experience in Bitcoin, and even worse than that because I already knew that Bitcoin was a volatile investment.

So, when I started and I was seeing how the price kept fluctuating, I wasn’t really scared and the good thing was the amount I invested wasn’t something that I would worry much about, and I was also ready to go for it long term, which I would say was because of me doing my research and understanding everything about the market before I started, although the view that a lot of people had back then is quite different from what it is now. But I was able to hold on and gain profit from it before making any sale at first .
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: January 18, 2022, 08:50:41 PM
Remember, Barcelona had a higher probability of winning than Granada last week but in the end the match ended in a draw. So even though Sevilla are ahead in this match, there is no guarantee that one of them will win in this match.

Sevilla have good form so far in Laliga so they might be favorites in this match but Valencia are also not an easy team to beat so Sevilla of course have to be careful with them because winning is not about how the probabilities are determined but how the team can create a lot of chances and score a goal.
Just because one team that was favorites ended up not winning doesn't mean that all the teams who are favorites will end up losing. By that logic Real Madrid would have been at the bottom of the table. Favorites of a game usually ends up winning their games, 50%+ of the time favorites win.

The trouble is that favorites usually do not get 2.00 odds, they get less and that is why if you kept on gambling on Real Madrid every single time, you will end up losing money. This is why Sevilla still has a better chance, but doesn't mean that it will be a good bet in the end, because the odds shows that it doesn't even worth wagering on them with these kinds of odds.
627  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2022 bear market? on: January 18, 2022, 08:01:04 PM
As we have seen the bull market of 2021, history has shown there to be a following of a bear market in the next year (2022). What are your thoughts so far and how do you believe it will play out.

I think the bear market is still just starting, btc should now be around 16-22k on average price until 2025.
There is going to be a bear market taking place in this year, but it is not bad to keep on with the Hodl, because I’m currently holding my coins and not minding whether the market is going down or not, although I have already taken some of my profit and have decided to keep holding till another bull run takes place.

The bear will likely be taking place as it did before, would probably last for four or five years, although I think that the market wouldn’t really drop very low, maybe it would maintain the $40,000 price, because the market is huge now and dropping as low as $16,000 and $22,000 is more less likely to happen.
628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin total supply is not 21M on: January 18, 2022, 06:26:47 PM
I knew it from forum discussion and today I read the article of Jameson Lopp.

It is inaccurate information about total supply of Bitcoin at exactly 21M as we see on media. Jameson explained it very detailed and technically in his article.
The number of coins that are circulating in the market wouldn’t be up to the 21 million because there are already lots of coins that are lost and there are even going to be more of them that would still be lost in the market. So as time goes on the number of coins that would be in the market will reduce. With that said, I’d like to add that as the number of the coins in the market is being reduced, there is going to be an increase in the price of the coin to match the level of supply that is available in the market, since when the supply is low, there would be a higher demand.
629  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022 Savings and investment plan on: January 17, 2022, 03:22:40 PM
Some people usually like to hop on shitcoins and meme coins because they feel that these coins are likely to have up to a thousand percent return on their investment.

But, that’s not usually the case, because it is almost impossible for you to find a coin that is going to see such increase or even be successful at all. And most people who invest in shitcoins hardly gain anything from the investment.
Yeah, I have tried it in the past, when I felt that it was a way to go, because a lot of people kept saying that shitcoins has chances of increasing in value so I tried my luck, and despite I was very selective with the coins I selected, it still didn’t really workout. I had to even sell some of them at loss, until now they have not even increased at all. So, sometimes it’s best to leave all these shitcoins and focus on the good ones that are top of the list.

GBfund is up 95 ETH in last 2 weeks at bitvest.

I am so happy for him since he lost alot of crypto when bit exo did their scam exit and too GB's crypto.
Does GB have a bct forum name here? Also knew him from Bit exo, shame about that site, I never really returned once the Moneypot fallout prevented most of their affiliated apps from making it big. Speaking of whales, quite a big hitter on LTC today too. Definitely RIP our invests heh.

And I just made a BTC withdrawal today. Seems like hotwallet issue's fixed for my last stretch of withdrawals.

Nice to see the shitposting here peter out too.
Hotwallet was fixed a while back, then it might had some problems again I am not aware of, but I have tested it back then and it was okay, no idea about the later issues. The problem wasn't just that it was a hot wallet issue, it was more like an issue where Lightlord doesn't even care anymore. Owning a business is a big privilege these days, I can't imagine how many people around the whole world (because crypto is global) would love to have a website like this one, but either can't afford to or can't develop and manage because of lack of technical details.

When Lightlord owns something as wonderful as this place, he should be more active, or at the very least get someone who can contact him directly right away, that way he could at the very least handle it himself when contacted, or if it is a small one then someone else can talk on behalf of him.
631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is important for a country? or not... on: January 16, 2022, 03:42:51 PM
Cryptocurrency is essential for the development of a country?
Does cryptocurrency play an effective role in the development of the country? Or does it hinder the development of the country and cause extreme damage to the country?
What do you think about this?
I wouldn’t really say that it makes any huge impact in the economy such as making it better than it is, neither will I say that it would have any negative impact on the economy. Maybe when it comes to development, I think cryptocurrency can play a role in development. It all depends on the area that it is being applied. Maybe if we can apply cryptocurrency in the right areas, it would help in developments that would then make good impact in our economies and help it to grow.

But, it is not like cryptocurrency is like the all time solution that we are going to need to make an economy better, because there are already countries that have adopted cryptocurrency, but it didn’t make their country get any better than it was.
632  Economy / Economics / Re: Peter McCormack: 'Bitcoin has WON the war on money'. Do you agree? on: January 16, 2022, 11:49:18 AM
I am always in support of BTC, and always doing my part of the ‘evangelismʼ work in introducing Bitcoin to the world. But, what I always keep telling people is that Bitcoin is not a replacement for Fiat, I don’t know why it is hard for some people to accept this.
Yes, we love Bitcoin, but I see it more as a general cryptocurrency that everyone is free to make use of, a currency that doesn’t belong to anyone at all, free from control, and not something that was created to replace Fiat. Every country will still have their Fiat, because Fiat represents each country, but there would be Bitcoin as a general currency that would also serve its own purpose for those who understands and makes use of it.
633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 16, 2022, 07:22:22 AM
Is England going to win the last Test match in the end after 3 consecutive defeats and one draw? What do you think?
I am not seeing any possibilities for that. England just started their second innings and they need to chase down 271 runs to win this final test match but by considering their their overall performance in this Ashes series, I doubt they could score even 150 runs on the day3 and day4 pitch conditions.

Australia is right now struggling by losing 6 wickets for just 96 runs. Still Australia is leading by 200+ runs and that way I guess you are right as England may need to chase at least 250+ runs
Yeah, Australia struggled in their second innings but managed to take a considerable lead which still definitely an impossible task for England as of now. Hobart pitch was known for its batting friendliness but for this Ashes test match, I guess curator decided to surprise all of us. Australia is all set for 4-0 sweep, it seems.

I have been trying to find some more places to do affiliate marketing, so far the places I have checked did not end up being awesome and the most someone earned me was around 9k satoshi, which is not horrible I will give you that but when that is your "best" earner, that is not really good, is it? So that means my old spots are either taken already or not cared at all.

So, I wondered where everyone else got their affiliates? You do not have to share the exact place, like saying "twitter" wouldn't mean I would steal your customers, I just wanted to know where and how you shared in general aspects of it. Social media was never my strong suite, I never had a twitter account with decent amount of followers, so I just assumed that maybe I am not doing the right thing? I hope that I will get a decent place and where you guys are looking for your affiliates.
635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 15, 2022, 06:31:37 PM
I also came through this news but ignored it. Don't know what makes Raja propose such plan, when India has strictly refused to play with Pakistan due to political reasons. Also CA plan to visit Pakistan in March is sceptical. In such situation it looks funny that PCB chairman has proposed such plan, lets see what other boards say about this.
Your half statement is correct that this is nothing serious for cricketing fans because no one going to take this as good specially from BCCI as they will never agree if anything is going to be profitable for Pakistan and PCB, so I am also feeling it's crap idea from Rambo and his team right now they need to give some better time for internal issues which are more important instead of having ideas like this.

With Australia is coming in Pakistan even their very few players are not interested like Warner, Maxwell and Starc but many other players are coming surely, and they are going to fulfill their commitment about this tour because now it's very significant for all. Right now situation is much improved and things are going even better in next few weeks with PSL7 is also going to start after few weeks with some strict rules.
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 15, 2022, 05:20:18 PM
England seems to be sliding towards another defeat in the 5th and final test at Hobart. They conceded a lead of 115 in the first innings, as their batsmen failed to put up a total in excess of 200. Anyway, David Warner got out for a duck in the second innings, nabbed by Stuart Broad. And just now, Marnus Labuschagne got out with Chris Woakes getting the wicket. But with such a massive lead, Australia may not be much bothered. They just need to set up a target of 240-250, and for that another 120 runs are more than enough.
In start of 2022 we saw some upsets where BAN beating NZ and SA completely destroying India but England wasn't able to break there losing string. On stumps of day 2, 23 wickets have fallen and Australia have lead of 150 runs with 7 wickets in hand. If Australia can give target of around 300 to England then surely final result will be 4-1.
England are surely needed some magic to change things in their favour because with current situation and form I still believe they are worst team in test cricket because no batsman is capable of staying at crease for some time, and it's very poor from them now in last few innings Root is also not giving 100% because facing some good pressure of defeats and poor batting from all other batting line-up.

In this last test match now Australia leading by 152 if they were able to score 100 more runs than surely these are enough for result of 4 - 0 for this series because English batting line-up is completely down in moral, and they cannot handle pressure of target chase. Australian bowling is also in good shape, with two new young guns doing some good work for supporting Starc and Cummins in the absence of Hazlewood.
637  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital asset is for holding on: January 15, 2022, 08:51:00 AM
From the history only ponzis are profitable in short holding and all other real potential based opportunities are proven to provide big returns in long term holding hence digital assets cannot be an exception here.
Yes; in my opinion as well, not just digital assets but each and every investment will be highly profitable in long run give that its fundamental are good in long run (and practically without stronger fundamental, you cannot expect an entity to be sustaining everywhere). So, if we want handsome returns from an asset then we should give it enough time.

if we buy any asset it's reserved for the long term so we have to hold to get better feedback.
No one will guide about time frame of holding but you need to go due diligence to find out what is good and when profit booking is good. I mean no asset is entitled explicitly about the time period required for better returns but it is up to investors' preferences.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 14, 2022, 09:46:35 PM
I would say that there is a big chance Milan could have lost that game. Genoa could be not a great team but they have been playing very well lately, if they keep this up then I am guessing that they could find a way to get out of that relegation zone. Aside from that Milan was expected to beat anyway, and maybe they took a detour but they got there anyway. So, it was a result that we all expected to see.

I can't say that game itself was a fun one, I mean it was a quite boring classic Italian game with good defense and not great offense. Milan seems to be going at it this year and they want to get that championship they missed last season, let's hope that they have a fun competition so we can enjoy it as fans.
639  Economy / Economics / Re: Is PayPal plannning to Launch of Own Stablecoin? on: January 14, 2022, 09:36:31 AM
The part where you said that banks are going to wither away because of all these cryptocurrencies, especially stable coins that are being released, are you forgetting that all these stable coins are backed by the US dollar, and all the U.S. dollars are being held in the banks or controlled by the banks?

So, there’s really nothing like the banks withering away, and they are still going to be there, although the activities that they will have to play in the future might be reduced to an extent because of these cryptocurrencies that are being released, and also because people are now starting to take over activities that has to do with managing their finances and all that, through cryptocurrency.
