Labcoin just came online...
622  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 17, 2013, 01:58:39 PM
Did anyone receice his dividends yet?
It would show up on the history tab, here: https://btct.co/security/LABCOIN

That 66k wall at 0.003 to push the price down into the bids - it would be so funny if good news is posted and they don't pull it in time. Grin

There must be at least one whale with their finger on the trigger...

At this point, I don't think humour is their best strategy...
Looks like SeenBot is a joke/FUD bot...

Please could someone explain this for those unfamiliar with the #labcoin channel. What is SeenBot, and where is it quoting from?

Only other option besides scam, I think, is that Labcoin wants the stock to tank so they can buy it all up cheap and reap the ALL the rewards of their initially "public" company.
No, they really do suck that badly at PR. Even giving allowances for language barriers and geeky social ineptitude, it's shocking.
627  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 14, 2013, 06:22:08 PM
the new 1%
Looking at this thread, this is a very scary thought.

Next proof to be posted will be mining address, clearly showing the rate of blocks creation.
Probably no more pictures as they only do create more confusion.
The confusion isn't because you're posting pictures/evidence, it's because you don't post enough pictures/evidence. Posting less is not going to help. You really need to post as much evidence as possible!
630  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 14, 2013, 03:25:22 AM

They don't even look like scammers, they just look like people who suck like a giant black hole at PR. And we already knew that before today.
that's the hook.  They scam so bad, you can't even believe it's a scam.
That doesn't even make sense. Lots of people have no problem strongly believing it's a scam.
631  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 14, 2013, 03:22:04 AM

They MUST have assembled a board by now.  If mean, if they have the chips and they have the boards...there's no possible way they haven't put them together.

They MUST have done it, just out of eagerness if nothing else.

Even if they don't work, why not take a picture of one?

It's so confusing.
the simplest explanation?  It has been and is complete and utter bullshit.

they lied to everyone over and over again.  Why would you assume that photo is the truth?  At what point do you stop to realize that every single piece of shit that has come out of this company has been to pull the wool over your eyes?

So... how much time does saying "approx." twice buy till the torches and pitchforks come out?
633  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 14, 2013, 12:35:09 AM
Question:

How long after the proposed update time does a sell-off commence?
That might depend on an imminent debate on the definition of approximate.
634  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 14, 2013, 12:29:34 AM
My prediction:

It's going to be a picture of two dudes on a beach somewhere in French Polynesia holding a sign that says: "Thanks for the BTC"

Or at least I hope it's like that because, holy shit, that'd be legendary.

Haha that would be awesome.
Did any of you notice that they're doing this announcement on Friday 13th?
Would be the perfect date to do this  Grin
It's Saturday in most of the world, including China.
635  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 14, 2013, 12:17:00 AM
Another prediction: No news 3 minutes past deadline --> stock dips 10%

news then arrives 4 minutes past deadline
He did say the time was approximate. In fact, he said it twice.

I just spoke to Sam and confirmed that there will be an update tomorrow Friday Sept 13th at approx 8 PM Central Time (Approx 23 hours from this post).
636  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 13, 2013, 11:09:12 PM
TheSwede plans on releasing this on the front page, which one would assume is a major news release. Of course he said he had no idea what it was/is.
Where did he say that?

UPDATE NOTICE:

I just spoke to Sam and confirmed that there will be an update tomorrow Friday Sept 13th at approx 8 PM Central Time (Approx 23 hours from this post). I have no details on the information but the update will be released both here on the forum and on btct.co

TLDR; There will be an update tomorrow at 8 pm Central.
Ah. By front page I though you meant the first post in this thread. I guess you meant as news on btct, which will then make the btct front page.

Bear in mind there's nothing Labcoin/TheSwede could possibly say that the Fanatical FUD-Flinging Force couldn't somehow twist, spin, or conspiracy-theorize into something apocalyptic. I challenge anyone to think of something.

Let me first say I agree with you, FUDsters gonna FUD.

But as a creative exercise, let me take up your challenge:

Released from Labcoin:

Ok folks, here is our mining address, and if you look at the two blocks mined in the meantime, and decrypt the meaningless random characters inserted into the header, you will find two IP addresses that are assigned to two live 24-hour webcams running in our mining facility, with built-in hashing calculator live onscreen. One of the cameras is focused on our PCB fab area where our workers are tirelessly constructing ASIC blades and installing them live before your eyes. Watch as the hashing counter jumps for each board installed.

You will be able to confirm this number because we have also decided to mine in Slush's pool, where we are user #XXXX, and you can monitor our progress there.

I have also uploaded a video of the bench tests for our new 65nm chips, and they are overperforming by 10%. I would also like to submit a copy of the receipt for our latest tape-out order, notarized in triplicate by Burnside, The Minister of Technology for the People's Republic of China, and guest celebrity investor Warren Buffett. All three of these fine gentlemen will be available for a 20 minute videoconference an hour after this release has been posted, where they will be answering the top four voted questions posted in this thread.

And finally I would like to thank the investors for their patience. We are all socially inept, yet brilliant technicians. We honestly didn't think that two days without updates would cause so much panic. I guess that is why twitter is more popular than Charles Dickens nowadays.

Anyways, to all the faithful: Greetings new digital millionaires!

I'd like to see a FUDster spin that one...

You don't need FUDster's help when you all set yourselves up like this for a massive fall.  Wow!  Simply wow!

This could turn out to be the biggest anti-climax known to man, follwed by bouts of rage that could make Gulf War II's Shock & Awe on Bagdad look like a children's tea party.

Why are you guys doing this to yourselves?  Just calm your jets, eh?

I rest my case. Grin I didn't think it would be literally apocalyptic!

Predictions for the peak of the spike and what it settles down to?

I'm thinking maybe spike to 0.007 and settle at 0.0055 - 0.006.    Depending on how many people cancel asks, of course.
Good news with poof will see us hit 0.009xx
