621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some guy made 200 million from ETH on: July 12, 2017, 04:29:33 PM
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-07-10/one-trader-made-200m-trading-ethereumand-nobody-knows-who-tax

The taxmen are getting nervous with people holding these massive amounts and not being able to tax it.

Well, he didn't sold afaik so it's obvious now he holds less after the crash but he has a fuckton.

Some guy makes a point:

Quote

As he can't prove his entry point, the anti terrorisme act goes in effect, confiscation and guantanamo

Tax evasion as he didn't declare his positions... He's fucked

If you can't prove your entry points and you cash out.. aren't you fucked? They would keep the money and claim it's not clear where you got it from.

It is true that to whom he needs to pay but what in the hell he needs to pay somebody though, is it trading crypto currency with an anonymous identity helps you to dodge this tax authorities?

unless he reveals himself/herself in a live T.V show that he deposited $50 million then profited $200, there is no concrete law as of today with this kind of taxing situations I think.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fastest altcoin nowdays on: July 12, 2017, 04:18:50 PM
I think most of the mainstream altcoins is fast in sending and receiving nowadays it is just depend on how much transaction fees are you willing to pay and when you reached the highest possible payment and fastest minimum speed it will just depend on your luck in waiting for confirmations.

For me maybe Litecoin because it has already a lightning network, I am not so sure with other altcoins out there.

but with this article it is https://themerkle.com/4-cryptocurrencies-with-much-faster-block-times-than-bitcoin/ but it is when SegWit is not enabled in Litecoin.

1. Ripple
2. Ethereum
3. Monero
4. Litecoin
623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do males make up 97% of the Bitcoin community? on: July 12, 2017, 11:59:59 AM
If this is so true that female only represent that 3% then maybe they are more skeptical than men or they are not that technical type of human beings.
Because we all know that the human nature of men are to do more adventurous things in life more than women does, and I think women thing the Bitcoin thing is a men's work, lol.

Plus how come they came up with this percentage? do they know the real numbers of Bitcoin users?
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest your money in Ico on: July 12, 2017, 07:22:23 AM

Who are you to tell us what to invest with and why are you so sure that ICO's is a scam? nothing...

And I guess you have a selfish attitude in life that wants to be spoon feed with others money so there is no way that people will believe in you.
You titled this up that ICO is a scam to say what coin should people must invest with is a full of BS so don't be a wanna be trader.

don't ever pull other people for you to go into top of the chain.
625  Economy / Services / Re: 3$/hour - work needed on: July 12, 2017, 07:15:57 AM
I have a friend that's really in need of money, and wants to work for it
But however, he posses not much skills about bitcoin to earn it

Is there a way I'm missing he can earn at least 3$/hour for his work online?

The only thing I remembered is I gifted him a Jr.Member account so he can join a signature campaign which is around 12$/week or so.

Ofcourse, in any deals involving this forum, I'm vouching for him personally.

If it is really your friend want a $3/hour that's $24 within 8 hrs and with 5 days that's $120,

I don't see it as greedy it would be but it is what it is. Earning him a much more bigger money is good but must have his skills to be show off so others to see what he is capable of and let him be stand with himself after you gave him an account.

Teach him how to catch fish and he will never be hungy.
626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you scared to hold until August 1? on: July 12, 2017, 03:41:42 AM
I already tripled my initial fiat investment, so my profits are already taken. The remaining coins that I have now are all paid from the profits that

I made over the years. This risk-free strategy has removed much of the stress that I would have had, if it was my initial investment. This was my

goal from the start. {Invest, double or triple my profits and then extract my initial investment}  Wink

It's good to know that you are already profited to your initial investment and saw it grow, so there is no grudges when the crypto currency is in the red days at the moment.

This is very much a wise decision of yours and I would like to do it in my future investments, and I do believe that after this thing Bitcoin will rise up again more than ever.

627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WTF is happening in cryptocurrency world ? on: July 11, 2017, 01:22:59 PM
It is simply because of what is coming that is why the Bitcoin itself and other altcoins is going on a massive down fall, many people really watches their investment this fast few days because of the august 1 event that they think will surely affect their investments. It is where the losers grudges and the winners calmly waiting for the right time to celebrate.

628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex.com gona delist LTC !!! on: July 11, 2017, 01:19:20 PM
Poloniex.com gona delist LTC !!!

If Poloniex really want to delist LTC how much more other crypto altcoins listed there?

Taking the fact that LTC is the strongest altcoin right now that tanking the fall downs of price of altcoins, no way that they gonna delisted it so better relax boy and calm your mind. It is what it is don't exaggerate it.
629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No payments in Crypto for Russia after possible Regularization Law. on: July 11, 2017, 01:15:12 PM
I have always know that the only issue about bitcoin for government is the issue of taxation all the news of illegal activities is just for diversion because they are yet to fine tune how to levy tax and the moment that is been taken care of, all other reasons are secondary and that is exactly the route most countries are going now towards that length and I dont expect anything different for now.

I am very much agree to your point, tax is the number one reason for governments to restrict Bitcoin's growth to their country and for me the second one is money laundering that people can easily do when engaging in Bitcoin and any other crypto currency, we can't blame government in doing such regulations though but the main reason for Bitcoin is the security itself that tackles this government regulations to take off.

631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Are you scared to hold until August 1? on: July 11, 2017, 10:17:06 AM

We know what will happen with the said date but are you willing to take a risk to hold your Bitcoins or maybe some Altcoins. We are in the 'Red days' for how many weeks now and I think it is because of too many people is scared in what will be the results of Segwit on August 1.

Some of my thoughts in how most of us think.

*I will sell my Bitcoins first then buyback after august 1*

*I will sell my Altcoins because it is nowhere to going up anymore*
632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alts fall, Bitcoin falls ... where is the money going? on: July 11, 2017, 10:03:41 AM
Hi

Thread title says it basically.

Almost all Altcoins are currently falling, which means they are dumped for Bitcoins.

So Bitcoins should be bought and therefore rising => but they are also falling.

Why is that?

For My point of view this is

*Panic selling of Altcoins by most of the traders because they see it falling.
*They think that Segwit will cause Split forks that will be resulting of low-valued Bitcoin afterwards.
*They converting again their Bitcoin to their own FIAT money.

So for this event that is happening right now is inevitable, it is just what will you do if you already invested, it's either you stay or go away with others.
633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one should prevail? The Bitcoin developer or the miner? on: July 11, 2017, 09:53:53 AM

They must both prevail for me though because it is a duo that correlate with each other without the consent of one of them will be a mass confusion for the Bitcoin community that can result of bad events. But all I see today is like 60% in favor of devs and 40% in favor of miner because at the end of the day the one who make changes is the devs it is just up to them how will they explain it to the miners for them to agree with them.
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: Testing Software Code Can Help Discover Bugs!! on: July 11, 2017, 09:22:32 AM
As of today? I think this discovery already happened so many years ago. Why you just posted it today?

Test techniques include the process of executing a program or application with the intent of finding software bugs (errors or other defects), and verifying that the software product is fit for use.

You said 'testing software code' it is too general my friend. Kindly site your sources or be more specific what kind of software has been used.
635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING]: Mt. Gox CEO Goes on Trial in Japan Over Missing Bitcoins on: July 11, 2017, 08:50:59 AM
The hearing is going on at the Tokyo District Court. Some have doubts that this case will go anywhere because of missing laws over virtual currencies. Can't imagine how much the 850,000btc lost in 2014 would be worth today.

That is almost $2 billion worth bitcoin today and approximately 5% of today's Bitcoin market cap. That is a big amount of money that is stolen but I agree to the fact that this thing will go nowhere but it will help the future of crypto currency because of this bad event that happened 3 years ago will make the minds of the authority to get security more stronger and cyber laws more efficient.
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DDF - Digital Developers Fund: Profit From Digital Assets on: July 11, 2017, 04:13:27 AM
I think if such a procedure is not good, because in the absence of spreadsheets we all participants can not know the stakes we get every week

I feel your point here AakZaki but trust the campaign manager that at the end of the campaign that he will pay every each of the participants based on their work and stakes, I already posted about this point of view but 'digitaldevelopersfund' never responded to it. Just we hope for the best and good to happen.

639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best places in SE Asia to spend Bitcoin? on: July 09, 2017, 03:42:20 AM
I think most of this places can be spend off your Bitcoin with but with just a few of businesses branch only, Bitcoin is not banned in all of this countries that you have. But for me it is much more better to change it to their FIAT currency while you stay with this countries instead relying too much into your Bitcoins but better use of https://coins.ph/ because some of this countries recognize it and has easy withdrawal.
