It would be really lovely to watch a finale between Sevilla and Liverpool.  Grin  I think Liverpool would be one step ahead in that case.

Liverpool have faced Sevilla in the Europa final once before. That was the early stage of Klopp at Liverpool. Sevilla prevailed on that occasion. I know that Liverpool team and this one are in no way the same but it's worth pointing out.
Sevilla got a lot to work on if they really want to go that far in Europe next season. Even in the league. I know they're not comfortable with being around the middle part of the table. They need to make a couple of additions to their squad and they might be ready. The problem they will face is n the strict financial policies of La Liga.
Liverpool on the other hand are not going to have those kind of problems. We've already started noticing their presence in the transfer market.
Anyway, it's still too early to predict who will get to the finals next season. Let the season begin first.

Based on their past record shows that Liverpool have the strength to go far in next season, because their coach is very ready to bring someone that can work with Salah to ensure they lift UEFA champions league title next season. Since Liverpool still have a solid defense in this season, I think there is hope for them to display more than Manchester city next season, if the players can play in unity which is the major pillars that make every team solid through out in any competition. I believe, Sevilla coach will definitely sign in some potential players next season because they experienced some challenges from the midfield and defense, but their strikers really performed well in some matches that made many people to believed that they can do better in next season.

@Sebas.tian I won’t be surprised if Liverpool go all out and try to win the Europa champions league because Klopp would like to win all possible trophies including this one to makeup for the previous bizzare season that Liverpool had. Furthermore Sevilla won’t face Liverpool as the former is playing in the champions league and I don’t really expect them to be knocked out and drop back to the Europa League.

^  Yeah I was so drunk just laughing, throwing popcorn and posting on here with all caps.  Cheesy  And yes, there was the one that hit the bar too.  I think it's fair to say that City was lucky in that match but I think it's also fair to say that a little luck going a club's way is really needed to win a one match KO game.

All in all there was a guy who said he wanted to see pens.  I think that would've been an epic ending too.

So...  Is Guardiola still City's manager next season?  Does anybody else think they could win another UCL title back to back?  :/

@tokeweed Pep had already confirmed well in advance that he was staying irrespective of the CL result but I feel that the new season could be his final season with City as he’s achieved everything with them. Furthermore I don’t believe that he can win it back to back because all the team’s are now strengthening themselves which will mean that it’ll be very difficult to defend their newly won CL title.

Deserved title for Đoković, irrespective of his semi-final walkover against Alcaraz.

He was on top of his game today again and played some amazing points. He was parrying well agains Alcaraz too - he might have won that match even if Alcaraz remained fully fit.

Hat off to the guy - he'd be on 25 GS titles if there were no stupid COVID rules.
The classic routine of matches where such young talents are defeated against Djokovic is repeated. The opponent starts the game well, breaks the serve and sometimes takes one or even two sets. Then djokovic usually wins a prolonged game or tie break is made. Djokovic wins, then there is a break, it is theoretically clear that djokovic will win the match. All that remains is for djokovic to put it into practice. Meanwhile, his opponent sometimes produces quality winners, gets very good points and all, but he also understands that the match is now over. That's exactly what ruud plays, the match was over with the first set. This man is 36 years old. 36. No, 20-year-olds can't stand against him. The 36-year-old is running the 23rd slam, it really seem mind-blowing. And as you have mentioned it could have been 25.

@püsür I never doubted Djokovic not even for a second because I know him way to well now and I have seen this multiple times that whenever he’s pushed into a corner he pushed back hard and that’s what makes him special. Furthermore with Nadal missing I’m very happy that it was Djokovic who won otherwise it could have been Nadal had he been fit and we would have witnessed another great finale between these two.

Mbappe can go to the madrid if he wants. It will be far better for mbappe to. leave from PSG and go to the madrid rather than staying even longer in the club that can win the league in the farmer league competition.
I support mbappe if he will be leaving from PSG and join in the real madrid. PSG was only strongest team in the league 1. it doesn't have good competitors there.
Well, why, the current example with Manchester City and winning the Champions League clearly shows that with due diligence and patience, you can win not only the farmers' league. Another question is that you need to find a good and reputable specialist like Pep Guardiola and trust him at least for five years, and not throw the head coach out of retirement after another failure in the Champions League. Let's remember how everyone laughed at City and said that the club would never win the Champions League, and now the Arab sheikhs and Guardiola, on the contrary, are laughing at everyone.
Reacting to the first opinion, I do not think that now is the best time for Mbappe to leave PSG, he should atleast stay for another season and enjoy his lordship as both Neymar and Messi will be leaving the club for him.
Reacting to the second opinion, PSG should look for a way and reform their team by making both defence, midfield and attack to be balanced and then find a good coach and give him some years to bring result.
Yes, I agree with you that actually Paris SG still needs Mbappe to keep stopping and provide dominance in the Paris SG line of attack.
I can't imagine what if Mbappe left Paris SG while Neymar and Messi have also moved to other clubs and Paris SG has no power if Mbappe leaves at this time.
But rumor has it that Mbappe will not leave Paris SG.

@klidex Mbappe had already announced that he isn’t leaving PSG and there was also a rumour that PSG will be building the team around him like Barcelona did for Messi. However what worries me is that in the long run he’ll definitely want to leave PSG and if they don’t plan well in advance then it could hurt them a lot when he eventually departs.

Allegri may leave Juventus after all.
The rumor of today is about an offer for him in Saudi Arabia for 30+ m/€

If the rumor will be confirmed I can't see how he will refuse it.
But it seems that it has not been confirmed if Allegri will move to the Saudi Arabian club.
I have also heard rumors that Allegri will not leave Juventus during the bad situation that Juventus is currently experiencing so it seems that Allegri will remain at Juventus with the aim of building the Juventus club back stronger as before.
Maximiliano Allegri is currently one the best managers of Italian extraction and it is believed that the finest football managers in the world do come from Italy.
Saudi Arabia's quest to make their league one of the best in the world is not a joke and they're currently doing anything do make that dream come through. After getting the services of European known best players, they're also trying to sign managers that'll bring the tactical experience of European football to their league and thereby improving their quality of football. It's still unofficial if Allegri will join the Saudi League but some officials are trying to make it happen.

@Docnaster after the horrific season he had with Juventus I won’t be surprised if he wants to leave and seek out a new league and the Saudi league is very popular now and he’ll be able to demand world class player’s which will appeal to him. Furthermore what happens to Pogba if he leaves because he was the one who wanted him at the club but the entire last season Pogba was injured so will Pogba be sold or retained by Juventus?

And I just realized after this sporting event has reached the final stage, that freebitcoin doesn't provide bets for the French Open 2023, usually they are available, is it because there aren't that many enthusiasts? I remember several times winning bets on tennis events.

I feel like football is the only hope to get featured regularly on FBC. And even then, only if it's a big match.

Make your requests early. If you don't see the option as soon as it's available on other sites, then it's time to request it.

Probably not many enthusiasts here too as you say. FBC doesn't seem to have a big sports fan base compared to even price betting.

@Stronkored it’s possible that they saw lower turnout for previous tennis matches and @slaman29 is right if you wish to see a particular wager available on the site request it here and ask the community to back it so it can be featured on the site. Also anyone here feeling brave enough to wager on Inter for a win because I’m yet backing Inter to beat City and crash their treble winning party but I won’t be surprised if all here have backed City to win this finale.
627  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: June 10, 2023, 11:33:15 AM
I think Stake.com would have included a clause in the contract, that if Everton gets relegated out of the league, then the contract between them gets terminated. It is obvious that you cannot pay a team, if they do not qualify to participate in an tournament, where you want to advertise your company.

It is a pitty that Stake.com are only sponsoring the lower ranked teams in the championship, but I guess having them sponsoring two teams in the lower ranking, gives them more exposure.. than sponsoring one higher ranked team.  Tongue

Also.... the Drake stream took a lot of money out of their pockets... and that might be why we will not see a pre-monthly.
I think it's quite alright considering those are getting viewership as well, they can't just do sponsorships on Manchester united or city or Liverpool etc etc, those are huge amounts and they will not be able to get it. There are way too many clubs who do not like gambling sponsorships neither because they feel like it's too risky, it could get banned any moment and that is why they prefer lesser money most of the time and get other stuff. I think it would be wise to continue down this road as long as FA allows them to do so.

It's not that easy because betting and sportsbooks are always getting extra audit by these organizations and even if a single thing is missing, they do end up not allowing them to sponsor anyone. So doing it is really valuable without a doubt.

The regulation is really something that will become more and more strict the upcoming years. In Belgium a lot of soccer teams are sponsored by (fiat) casinos and in a couple of years that will be forbidden. No idea how the clubs will solve that as these sponsors bring in a lot of money…

@babygun I believe that Stake will be evaluating their strategies for the long term too as I recall that the UK government was keen on passing strict rules for gambling sites and this would effect their sponsorships with football clubs in a negative way. Furthermore I believe that one should not underestimate a team just because it’s playing in a lower level because their fan’s maybe easier to target hence Stake maybe targeting those team’s.

Well I hope CLS63 has bet on Inter because that will mean he’s put a jinx on Man City haha. I really want Inter to win so I can continue laughing that Man City have 0 Champions League trophies. I think that changes tomorrow though, surely they will beat Inter. I just hope for an upset, maybe Lukaku off the bench to win it would be hilarious. My head says Man City win 2-0, my heart says Inter 1-0.
You don't think we can see both team scoring tomorrow?
Maybe with result 3-1 or 2-1, Inter have Martinez, Dzeko and Lukaku can always wake up and score.
I know you dont like Man City but I think Inter will need a miracle to win Champions league this time.

@notblox1 I too am hoping that Inter can stun City and win the Champions League and I believe that Pep’s overthinking will be the reason City end up losing the champions league again. Furthermore Lukaku will definitely be in the starting playing 11 and he can definitely dominate City’s defence and help Inter score a goal or two and I hope that’s enough to beat City.
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 09, 2023, 01:22:30 PM
Real madrid know how to buy good players, they are good in selecting players that will eventually help their team to succeed, their biggest signing this summer is going to be Jude Bellingham, but they are going to make other very good buys, Benzema has left the club, so they have to replace him with a new striker. Chelsea's Kai Havertz is also wanted by Real madrid, with many other players too; the club only won the copa del rey this season, so they will want to buy enough players to make sure they challenge and try and win the big trophies again next season.
The arrival of Jude Bellingham and the departure of Karim Benzema left a huge hole in Real Madrid's attack, losing a player capable of scoring 30 goals in a season and it is true that Real Madrid must sign a striker. There have been recent reports of a move for Harry Kane but the player may not go there, in recent days, they are now after Kai Havertz which makes no sense, has Florentino Perez been watching his Chelsea form.

okay he scored the winning goal in the champions league final 2 years ago when you watch him play for Chelsea he is completely useless sometimes he is a passenger and it is easy to forget he is on the pitch he is a player who lets the game go and that is unacceptable for a player. I'm not sure Kai Havertz is suitable to replace Benzema.
the right person to replace Benzema I think is Kane. how he plays up front will suit Madrid. but it all depends on how Madrid tries to get it. because it's a problem for Madrid to get Kane rumored to be expensive.
Madrid's current rival is Man United a strong competitor for Kane. but rather than spending money on Havertz, I think Kane with more money would still be good for Madrid.

@rozak I’m not sure if Jude will be automatically selected in Madrid’s playing 11 because they have the best midfielders i.e. Kroos, Modric etc who might prevent him from playing regularly hence I found this transfer to be a bit odd. Lastly instead of spending so much money on Kane they should target Lukaku who has experience of playing in different league’s plus when given the right delivery he’ll guarantee lots of goal’s too.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 09, 2023, 10:03:39 AM
Juventus is certainly unluckiest due to the points penalty that they received, they would have been at UCL next season if they could have won, that is a sad situation for them. However, it is also the teams at conference league that would be pretty unlucky as well, to meet Juventus a team that deserved UCL next season but you are a small time conference league team.

I don't even know whether this is a conspiracy or not but juventus was too late taking an action to realize its mistake. As far as i know that if FGIC was always opening its door for juventus if the club is willing to realize its mistake and promised to be even better in upcoming season.
The deduction from juventus's points at the end of season were giving a mentality problem for all of players. It's caused by they were only a few steps to go to the UCL but FGIC was destroying it.

Quote
In order to avoid any further points deductions, Juve have now accepted a €718,000 fine for their reported misdemeanours and will, importantly, be granted access into European competitions if they qualify for them.
https://www.90min.com/posts/juventus-learn-fate-of-figc-trial

Juventus would above to avoid the deduction points if it was accepting its mistakes when it was getting 15 points deduction.
The problem can be solved easily but juventus was taking a very hard decision just to play small fine.

It's mistake from the management.
And you think a mistake from the management is an excuse in law? We should stop giving excuses for Juventus for their misdeed. This is the club that has lasted several decades, so you are telling me that suddenly the management made a mistake? A mistake that other clubs did not make? Common!!!

Juventus deserved what it got and will be a lesson for them and others that wanted to copy. However, there is no way the first 15 points deduction would not affect the whole club psychologically, I noticed the effect but they later started playing better again until the final 10 point deduction. This explains why they were able to finish the season in 7th place, they later buckled up. If not, they should be far lower than that.

@EarnOnVictor if Juventus were not guilty they would have fought it but instead they accepted the punishment which shows their guilt hence now there’s no point in crying over spilled milk. Furthermore they should now focus on the upcoming season and start planning well for it otherwise we’ll see them drop out of the title race very soon like we witnessed in the previous season.

Borussia Dortmund came really close this season in the race for the title, they pushed Bayern Munich until the end and didn't bow down easily. They might not be champions but I commend their efforts, performance and good mentality. If they can do the same next season, with a little luck they might get a chance to win the league.
At the very least, the bundesliga was more entertaining and tense than in past events. Before the league ended, the Bavarians were crowned champions a long time ago, but this season is different; the final game determined the winner, and it was one of the most tense football campaigns I've seen in a long time. Borrusia Dortmund pulled a large competitive race for the bundesliga crown this season, Bayern Munich never relents as they push harder in dealing with their opponents, and Dortmund is no exception. I expects more important fights for the title next season.

@borovichok while it’s true that Bayern were tested a lot this season but they could have won the league early had they not changed their coach because that change effected their rhythm. Furthermore even on the final match day I had posted that Dortmund could crumble under pressure hence I wasn’t surprised as their mentality isn’t yet strong enough and they really need to work on it if they want to win the title next season.

Some time later, he again claimed that his Instagram account got hacked and someone else posted the story. His version of events doesn't add up unfortunately. In all probability, he will be suspended by GT for next season.

No one gets suspended for posting anything on social media. Indian players do not handle their own social media. There is always a PR team that works on it. For him GT would provide that PR team. If you want to blame someone then blame GT. The rivalry that was created between Kohli and Navin was all part of PR. It's unfortunate that a political issue was posted from a IPL players Instagram handle. The first principal of a player is to be always remain away from politics. The reason behind cricket fans only have one religion and that is cricket.

@pakhitheboss I keep saying this and will continue to say that this rivalry is a made up one and often done to boost viewership and hence I doubt that he’ll be suspended by GT. Furthermore player’s PR team needs better education as each post or story of theirs is scrutinised by the public hence they should be careful about what they post and for me personally IPL PR team creates these dramatic events to keep up the buzz around IPL.

What can Rashid Khan do when the Afghanistan batsmen only managed to score 116 runs in a 50 overs game? Even the players like Rashid Khan needs some score to defend, a score where the other team can be put under pressure while chasing. Rashid Khan bowled four overs in this match and conceded 21 runs and no wickets. Though this was good bowling seeing the context of the match, they need wickets which Afghanistan bowlers were not able to get.

Also, when we talk about Afghanistan, only Rashid Khan comes to mind. They need more match winners as the cricket team never won matches on the performance of a single person.

Afghan batting has shown no improvement over the years. Mohammad Shahzad was there a few years ago, but he was very volatile. Now they have young players like Hazratullah Zazai and Rahmanullah Gurbaz who are very inconsistent, and players like Mohammad Nabi who are out of form. And that is the reason why they are losing so many matches despite having some of the best spin bowlers in the world. I don't know much about the domestic cricket system in Afghanistan. Low quality domestic cricket maybe one of the reasons behind this.

@Sithara007 I believe that the player’s are impacted psychologically due to their home condition’s cause they were performing decent before the invasion took place. Furthermore despite minimal facilities they do have lots of talented player’s but lack of strategy and proper guidance is effecting their growth hence I feel that they can improve a lot if they’re provided good facilities.

There have been rumours linking Hamilton with Ferrari for next season. They don't look like they will go away easily either. I didn't take it seriously first but now I'm wondering if this might really happen. Ferrari technically have a more powerful car than Mercedes now. But the mistakes with the strategies are just killing the races of their drivers.

Mercedes have started to make some good improvement as well though. They had 2 drivers on podium in Spain. But I don't know if Mercedes have a brighter future than Ferrari now. Honestly as long as Ferrari keep the people in the team who play a big role in these mistakes, there is no meaning in Hamilton's joining Ferrari.

@Velvet78 if Ferrari can get Hamilton then it’ll be a big coup for them and I believe that their partnership could yield positive results for all the parties. Furthermore I’m sure that Hamilton would have observed those technical mistakes and would likely seek assurances that they won’t be repeated when he joins them and if Ferrari is able to reduce those mistakes then they can start dreaming of dominating races again with Hamilton at the helm.

It was not easy for old Chelsea players to go through the season with a new atmosphere and this was compounded by the dismissal of Tuchel when the league had started. The sudden change of coach certainly changes the psychology of the players so that it has a big effect on the team as a whole. Then, with a difficult situation like that, it also greatly influences new players to adapt so that the new players don't seem to have a mentor to be able to bring out all their abilities. But for next season under Pochettino's control, of course Chelsea will start a new page, he will have enough time to make plans with the players and of course Pochettino will immediately campaign for a revival for The Blues.
Indeed, with a change of coach, like it or not, they have to start adapting to the new coach, including the players that Todd recently brought in. New players enter the team, they must adapt so that cohesiveness can be realized. This condition is not a problem for the Blues because Pochettino has time to make improvements to prepare for next season. Chelsea can't get anything while the Premier League is running, I see one of the factors is that Todd bought too many players in the middle of the ongoing season, without him knowing that they needed time to adapt to the team. Todd overspends and gets nothing.

@Sterbens indeed firing Tuchel was a very big mistake and on top of that buying player’s at record speed was a big blunder by the Chelsea new owner’s. Furthermore I expect Poch to improve them but if anyone expects them to win the title in his first season then they’ll be disappointed as he’ll at least need one full season to show off his magic hence I hope that the Chelsea owner’s stick with him for the long run and don’t fire him quickly.

West Ham are heading on a path of being Champions tonight and it would be one of David Moyes greatest achievement that's if they get a win in tonight's encounter. The Hammers have struggled to be in this place and losing tonight's game is not an option, they have to put their all in this finals.
West Ham are one of the teams that are not doing well in the league but smashes teams that comes their way in the conference league and I feel they're the favorite in winning the title but Moyes shouldn't let his boys to underrate the Italian team, talking about the Fiorentina. As it is, we have two Seria A teams that are playing European finals, Inter for UCL and Fiorentina who are going to clash heads with West Ham in conference league, same with the two EPL teams too, CITY AND WEST HAM.
Will it be that both trophies are going to Italy or England?

@Sexylizzy2813 I believe that Moyes and West Ham deserves to win and it’ll be really sad if they end up losing this finale because they have really worked hard to reach here. Furthermore if West Ham don’t win then Moyes will lose his job for sure hence this is a must win game for him and a victory will secure his legacy forever with West Ham fan’s.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 07, 2023, 07:40:09 AM
Yes, it does but a restriction on the purse came after all stakeholder consensus, hence the model was approved and they are gradually increasing the cap.

There is no doubt that it will definitely benefit the players but the way the auction goes I reckon a majority of the money would go to limited players.

I remember reading some reports last year that the franchise exhausts their 80%-85% purse on 4-5 players max and the rest of the 15%-20% goes to the remaining squad.

Well.. I don't agree with that. If there is free market, then the tier-2 player salaries are going to increase more than the top players. As of now, not enough purse is left after the franchises purchase their top players. This will change if the free market strategy is followed. Anyway, this will not happen until there is a major revamp of the Indian Premier League, which I am not expecting for the next 10-15 years. The current purse seems too low to compensate all the players adequately. Only around 10% to 15% of the IPL salaries are currently being spent on player salaries, which is very low when compared to other leagues. The media rights revenues have gone up steeply over the years. But player salaries have not witnessed any such raise.

@Sithara007 I too doubt that we will see a free market strategy for IPL player’s salary unless player’s collectively raise their voice against this system but then there’s always a risk that those player’s could then be boycotted by the franchise clubs. Lastly in the current scenario the only way a player can get a pay rise is by performing better then other’s or risk being getting the same low salary.

This brother praised Dhoni's captaincy a lot, but he is a captain worthy of praise. Chennai Super Kings did not have any quality players. Still played well with many big teams due to his skillful captaincy if we talk about the final match there Gujarat titans played very well only because of Dhoni's skillful captaincy CSK reached the final in 2023 and won the trophy. While the IPL was going on, it was rumored that this would be Dhoni's last IPL, but keeping his fan following in mind, he might play another IPL. If he plays in IPL 2024 then we will look forward to see better captaincy from him. And the audience will surely enjoy his game too, best of luck to him.
In the final of IPL the match was shown at the Gujarat ground. But CSK's fan followers were more than Gujarat Titans in the gallery. The reason that comes first is the audience's love for Dhoni. Due to his popularity, the number of supporters in the whole team is increased significantly. If next year is Dhoni's last IPL, then every match of CSK will attract the attention of the viewers and audience. Cricket lovers will want to remember the last few days of the much-loved player's cricket for the rest of their lives. Dhoni is an example of how a captain's skill and experience can lead a team to get desire position even though CSK is a weaker team than Gujarat.

@Rabata there’s no doubt that CSK won because of Dhoni’s leadership and the way the team responded to his tactics was just brilliant. Furthermore he didn’t let the Jadeja issue distract the team and instead kept them focused on winning the IPL title but coming back to Jadeja what do you’ll think will happen to him will he stay or leave CSK?

It seems that the goal of the wealthy club owners in the Saudi Pro League to make their league more famous, not better, will become a reality. After successfully bringing in Ronaldo, it has been confirmed that Karim Benzema will go to Al Ittihad and several other players who were also rumored a few months earlier to go to Saudo Pro Liga also seems to be following in Karim Benzema's footsteps, the money they are offering is quite fantastic so for the players it will be very nice to be able to play in a league whose competition schedule is not as busy as in Europe but the pay is bigger because many achievements have been achieved, it's time to start a career with a schedule that is not too tight because of course their energy is not what it used to be.
Of course the main reason for the rich club owners in the Saudi Pro League is to make the Arab league more famous by bringing in star players. It could be that not only two star players (Messi and Benzema) joined C. Ronaldo in the Arab League but it could even be five or six at once like (Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, and even Neymar Jr or Sergio Ramos).

Obviously money is not an obstacle for the owners of big Saudi Arabian clubs to pay them-they are double their current salary in European clubs and that will be Saudi Arabia's efforts to promote and advance the football industry there. which indirectly will also make it easier for Saudi Arabia to become the bidding choice for the 2030 FIFA WORLD CUP Host along with Egypt and Greece.
I am sure that in the future there will be many star players who will join the Arab League because the offer of the salary they give is very difficult to refuse

CR7 is an opening for star players to play in the Saudi Arabian league, besides that if the Arab league continues to consistently carry out their plans then their target of making the Arab league one of the best leagues in the world will be achieved
If they move all the superstars from La League, Premier League, Serie A, League 1 and Bundesliga, then they'll be able to really build the best football league in the world but at the moment I can't think about what ROI they expect from such a big investment. They are offering massively amazing money to pro players, that can be a huge gap in budget, can't be?
They have to keep in mind their population, their love and tradition towards football. Do they plan to make every match rely on people who fly from homeland to Saudi Arabia? Will they be able to fill spaces by doing so? I don't know, sounds interesting, this is a serious investment and probably they have already thought a lot about that.

@Synchronice I believe that the Saudi league will become a really powerful league in the long run because every young and old star will decide to join it as they won’t get such lucrative benefits elsewhere. Furthermore I’m waiting to see which big star will they capture next because so far they have managed to capture old star player’s only.

Final of the ICC World Test Championship will be played tomorrow at the Kennington Oval in London. India is still wondering whether they want to go with 4 pacers (+ Jadeja) or 3 pacers + Ravichandran Ashwin + Ravindra Jadeja. Australia on the other hand is likely to go with 3 pacers and Nathan Lyon. Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc are confirmed as the seamers and the third bowler will be chosen between Scott Boland and Michael Neser (preference would be for the former, but Neser has impressed a lot of people recently in the county championship).
10 years of drought and here comes another ICC tournament.  Cry

Some reports are coming out and from the pitch's pictures, it does look like a seam-friendly wicket but it would depend on overcast conditions too. If the weather is clear then it should balance out and for India, team balance would depend on it. Aussie's attack seems alright even with Hazelwood.

@JSRAW do you feel that IPL fatigue will hurt Indian player’s as the match reaches its pinnacle stage because I have a feeling that they may underperform due to this fatigue. Furthermore I feel that team India should go with 4 pacers due to the seam conditions we usually see in England and further they should add Jadeja too cause he’ll give them an extra bowling option plus score important run’s too for the team.
