Why hold a dead coin knowing that it will take years to make money while all the other coins are making investors rich right now?
because many bought below $0.01 and have already profited over 4000%... VERY few people bought at anything close to that price. Even if they did, why not make a profit off the coins that are surging right now. I just don't get it. Its clear xrp isn't moving right now, it's the only coin in the top 20 that hasn't moved this week. THIS WEEK? you need a little more patience than that. The crypto market has attracted some very dumb money that has never thought about investing before. People that usually spend their money loosing on poker are now "day traders" and jump from coin to coin. some make it, most dont. you can try and be one of them. or you can pick a good project with an actual use case, driven by a solid team. If you haven't figured it out, dash was the first coin once again to surge in the boom thats happening right now! The rest followed. XRP was the very last coin that surged around 400% end of march than again over 1000% surge at the end of april.XRP will surge eventually but it doesn't mean you have to miss out on the coins that are surging now. Any idea why nem prices are not moving up for quite some time already?
Market conditions - as Bitcoin has been rallying, alts are stagnating. Not much to do with NEM's developments. Other alts have been rising lately. That's the concern. |

Nem seems to be slipping away in to darkness. Catapult was supposed to be released a long time ago. Not much progress with this coin. I haven't harvest a block in over a month maybe 2 months. Thats with 30k (Yes delegation is active, I check often). The network seems to have slowed to a crawl.

I doubt it will reach $600 by December, I doubt Ethereum will continue to go up with BTC. the BTC futures release is around the corner and I expect this to create another BTC major bull run to 10k it might definitely reach $600 by December, it has started increasing rapidly and could definitely hit that traget Yes it will 100% maybe reach $600 |

It doesn't matter which one is better, if you want to make money all you have to know is which one has a lower risk reward at the current level. Simple..Or you can just fly by the seat of your pants and hope for the best.

the problem is that the demand for BTC is growing fast and increasingly
but ETH has many other solutions, so its demand is not growing as fast as the demand for BTC

Seems like a lot of noobs here. Here's a tip, buy low and sell high. Bitcoin just went up %400 over the last 4 months while ethereum hasn't even tested it's all time high in over 4 months. Now which one is considered high and which one is considered low?

I find it strange that bitcoin is moving together in tandem with eth,xrp and some other alts. They've been trading opposite (against) eachother for so long.

Ethereum's old time high doesn't stand a chance of stopping it this time. It will plow right through it!

There really isn't any limit on how high it can go. Not even the smartest people, companies or governments have any idea how fast this revolution will happen. In January I remember people predicting bitcoin would rise to 2000 usd this year and people called them crazy. A $1000 ethereum is really nothing in the grand scheme of things.
The only thing I'm certain of, is that Ethereum will be testing it's previous AThigh very very soon!

ETH doesn't have room to grow? How can anybody know what the limits are in terms of value, in a new market in a world adoption phase we have nothing to compare this too. Ethereum has been the second largest coin for a very long time. Its been in accumulation for 4 months and TA looks very bullish. If you have been in cryptos for a few years you would know, that there is no limits on how high the price can go.
