621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No good projects from a long time on: October 26, 2019, 03:18:14 PM
Yes, I think what you're saying is true, there are no good projects now compared to 2 years ago. I think the main factor of this problem is not from a new idea or innovation. I think because of investors who began to lack confidence in cryptocurrency because after the end of 2017, the crypto market tends to decline. and most coins that have just emerged from a project, that coin cannot maintain its price in the crypto market. finding a good project is very difficult at the present time. we must really research before participating in it, before finally the regrets we will get. hopefully in 2020 the price of bitcoin and altcoin will increase, so that investor confidence in crypto will increase and can bring up more good projects like 2017 ago.
The bearish market became also a factor of the fall of ICOs and more, and due to this situation investors are having a doubt to invest in promising projects, causes of lack of funds and eventually will be ended up as a failed project. However, I believe that ICOs, STOs and even IEOs still have a chance to rise up again as Bitcoin rises. If the market will show another good performance I am pretty sure that there will be investors that will back and probably this is the time for the return of the good projects.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coins should i buy? on: October 26, 2019, 02:38:44 PM
I have some altcoins from early 2017 and some BTC and ETH too. I am thinking about investing some more but don't really know what i should be looking into.

Below is my list of coins.

BTC, ETH, NEO, ADA, LSK, LTC, Stratis, Waves, ARK, SHIFT, Pivx, VTC, GRS, Powr, Tenx

When i bought in early 2017, Statis, Waves, Ark and ADA was popular, how are these coins today?

I am not interested in low market/very new coins.

Thanks!
I highly recommend to invest in top-ranked coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple because they had the highest volume in the market. Your investment will be at less risk to place to invest yet profitable. I choose top-ranked coins simply because I've seen their potential, I have been in this industry where the time they once had skyrocketed value and until now hence, I have faith in them that they will go to the moon again.
623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will Be 1M$ if all countries Ban it on: October 26, 2019, 11:15:28 AM
IF the whole world ban BTC at first BTC will Crash very hard but only for a few month, Demand will be increased while there will be no Legal Seller, All trade will go to undergrand and  Black market and illegal traffic, sellers will start to selling BTC 50 X more than current price. BTC will be more expensive, As simple as that,
That was an answer for these who said BTC will die if whole world Ban it, So no BTC never Die.
If Bitcoin really gets restrict across the world I doubt that the price will pump simply because the demand will dictate the liquidity of the market. If Bitcoin gets banned the volume will definitely drop and that could also a big impact.  Bitcoin will be nothing without its community hence, it will crash.
624  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price today ! on: October 26, 2019, 10:34:32 AM
well , i was have a plan to sleep early on this day, but before i going to bed, i checked CMC for the last time, and i was suprised, btc going to 10k range .
firstly, i just have speculation about what happened today btc will back on 8k range, but i was wrong, even now almost 10k .
so , any though behind it ?
i just found 2 news about this rally so far.
1. probably because increased daily trading volume in the bakkt market . (not really sure about this one)

2. probably because China’s President, Xi Jinping, endorsed blockchain technologies in a speech, shocking the world. Many on Twitter have claimed that this news likely lead investors to become bullish on the cryptocurrency markets, despite China still vehemently detesting Bitcoin. (quite sure )

or i still missed something ?
I think the 2nd one i more reasonable. Remember when China restrict the transaction regards with Cryptocurrencies it made a huge impact in the community and now China's President Xi Jinping had mentioned the Blockchain technology on his speech, perhaps this might the reason of Bitcoins sudden movement. Basically, China is a total big contribution for cryptocurrency industry.
625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you waste your time for 5 cents worth of bitcoin? on: October 26, 2019, 10:09:33 AM
I am doing market research for a potential project.
If there was a website you could go to daily where you would earn anywhere from 1 cent - 10 cents worth of bitcoin just for clicking a button, would you do it?
No strings attached, no deposit required. You go to the website, push a button and 5 cents is deposited into your wallet. Would you go every day and do it, or is it not worth your time?
That is a quite tiresome I'd say. In that case, I would rather to participate in signature campaign that isn't that have high profit because you will never get a cent in there. Basically, these cents are more likely the same amount you'll get in faucets, and we all knew that faucet is not an option today perhaps way back 2017 would be slightly effective.
626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Traditional Payment Processors on: October 26, 2019, 05:10:07 AM
It's been a decade since Bitcoin emerged as a decentralized digital currency for the people. While it's no secret that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrrencies have some drawbacks, they're still a great alternative to Fiat when it comes to making payments without a centralized entity in charge of our funds.

With latest advancements such as DAGs, smart contracts, Layer-Two scaling solutions, Dandelion Protocol, Zero Knowledge Proofs, and more, it's becoming more evident that crypto will someday replace traditional payment processors like PayPal, Apple Pay, and Android Pay. Yet, Blockchain technology is still struggling with user adoption and regulatory compliance.

Nonetheless, do you believe that there's hope for Bitcoin to beat traditional payment processors or will those same payment processors adapt to the Blockchain in the future? Huh
From the current value of bitcoin, I don't think bitcoin will replace traditional payment transactions. Blockchain adoption of technology I think it is likely, after a speech from Chinese president Xi Jinping, is the first step to the adoption of blockchain technology. Concepts like stable coins are more suitable in my opinion as a substitute for traditional payment transactions.
Bitcoin will not definitely replace the traditional way of payment especially for now because we are not ready yet due to the fact that there are still some country that has no facilities to access crypto. Besides, cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin will is not that good for payment due to the reason of stability. This requires a massive adaption in order to implement this  way of transaction.
627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF]Part 2 on: October 24, 2019, 04:04:42 PM
What If,... you're currently playing and suddenly you run out of funds and on the next draw you missed the game which you are about to win the Jackpot.
What would you feel and do about it? Will you stop playing because of that miserable scenario?
And if that happens in real life, you won the Jackpot by your lucky numbers and suddenly you misplaced the ticket, that's a BIG LOSS already don't you think?

-Let's see how'd you feel down about missing a BIG THING in just a blink of an eye.

I would really feel remorse about that but it won't be enough reason for me to stop playing because I am pretty sure that this will happen again.
Honestly, by just imagining it I'd still felt regretful, it more likely the luck is already in my hand yet it slipped away. It is quite rare to happen to hit a jackpot as a matter of fact it only happen once of our lifetime hence this will be definitely a BIG LOSS. Some others say that it is fine since they can manage their emotion but still if it really comes this will be shaken up their emotions and goes to the point that they will not able to control it.
628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: October 24, 2019, 03:29:47 PM
I wonder how you do your research if a gambling site is scam or not?
Basically, I read some comments here in this forum about what is the most trusted gambling site and I noticed that most of them are popular hence my basis for choosing a gambling site is the popularity. Besides, before I place a big amount of money on a particular site I used to try first the gameplay and if I would able to withdraw my winnings. Moreover, I prefer to play in old sites since I knew that they have integrity and they have been in the industry for a long time so there's a low chance that they will do something that would harm their public conception.
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Learn to play Dice on: October 24, 2019, 03:09:10 PM
AFAIK,you don't need to know about how the game works to play dice, all we need to know is how to select the bet amount and also to click the play or roll tab. Grin

Basically a dice game is quite easy to understand. What makes it hard is the way how it was meant to be played using platforms and websites. There are sites that have confusing User interfaces. But on the other hand, almost every dice game is easy to catch and play. But most of the time, I prefer those gambling games when I can experience the thrill such as roullete.

I will call the dice game as the easiest gambling game because we don't have to learn many things. We could only use the default setting from the site and click the roll button. If there is a calculation about the chance of winning, then you need to learn more details so you can know how to make a strategy in a dice game. I guess the user interfaces are not too confusing because as long as we can find the roll button with the placing of the bet amount, we can play with ease.
That is why I love playing Dice game, it is easy to play yet fun. Dice game doesn't require a huge amount of bankroll to enjoy your gameplay since you can put a small amount of bet. It is the most simple game I've ever played, you can make a strategy by adjusting the Roll under to win to increase the chance of winning. Regards with User Interface, it always matters to me because there's some online casino that is not aesthetically pleasing that sometimes causes confusion.
630  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin freelancing is dead? on: October 24, 2019, 02:43:19 PM
In my opinion its not going to die, freelancing just slowed adoption due to bear market conditions. But before during the market was healthy the freelancing ecosystem was quiet healthy too and lot opportunities offered for job seekers. Nowadays it’s quiet rare but I’m confident that it will be back to normal once the market recover.
I also believe that bitcoin freelancing is not over. Way back 2017 freelancing is very effective to obtain profit but because of the bearish market, the process has been slow down. ICOs have almost shutdown that is why freelancing is not been effective right now however, there are still projects that are worth to work with but it is quite rare. Bearish market has been a big impact on Bitcoin freelancing that it goes to the point that trading, investment, and HOLD are the only effective way to earn a profit.
631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum goes to the top! on: October 24, 2019, 10:19:48 AM
I see price growth and ethereum charts getting better. Although it is difficult to reach $ 200. Well, this is a good opportunity to start buying ethereum. Is this a good idea for now? Let's discuss it. Thank you in advance.
Ethereum is just like Bitcoins, it is promising coin that has good liquidity in the market. Ethereum could also go to the moon that is why we should take the opportunity to purchase as long as it has cheaper price. Way back 2017 Eth has also make a big movement and that is the proof that it has potential and worth to place your investment with.
632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a scam? What to do next. on: October 24, 2019, 09:14:51 AM
So okay, this story didn't happen to me. It happened to a friend (let's call him Bob) of a friend (I will call him Sam).

Bob came to me asking is this a scam and is it legal. Bob doesn't know much about bitcoins and crypto, Sam even less.
Sam somehow got in contact with people who offers to open an account and invest into crypto. These people guaranteed a lot of profit. Sam paid 500 EUR at first and other two times a 2000 EUR.
What is interesting, that these people calling him to invest more. But he has an app (I don't know what app, because I heard it from Bob and he doesn't know either) which shows that Sam has doubled his investment (9000 EUR), but he cannot withdraw it now and these people (from Russia) are calling and rushing him to invest even more.

Bob asked me about that, I said that this is some nonsense. There shouldn't be people calling you and asking to transfer money. All is too fishy.

What should Sam do? Will the police help?
This is definitely a scam and even if you call police they cannot do something about it since the transaction held in crypto and we knew that crypto has anonymous characteristic. I'd say that the money invested was gone, the lesson here is that don't ever go for a transaction without having knowledge regards this matter, conduct some research on crypto even if it is fundamentals so you can have background.
633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC, why do some people just get it, others really don't? on: October 24, 2019, 05:58:51 AM
i ever introduce bitcoin to someone by how to get money as fast as possible and how bitcoin itself. many people will respon with get money as fast as possible. the main set for most people is money, so the approach is from money. after they knoe about how to get it, as time go by they will learn about what is bitcoin little by little. but not all people think like this, some people will learn about bitcoin first, and the other is like bonus from bitcoin
Introducing with someone else is very difficult, it takes more time for you to explain what is bitcoin and what is the function on it and you have profit. Probably, it takes 5-6 hours or more than that. Because not all people fully oriented and the sad part is when they failed you might blame them. So, I guess better keep quiet and show them how successful you are.
Well, I think it's because they already had an experience of how to earn bitcoin quickly. There are many ways to earn it if you are just willing to learn in order for you to be able to get rich but this time earning bitcoin is a little bit hard and risky as well due to it's dropping value.
It is really hard to introduce Bitcoin into a person who are not willing to learn. The best way to encourage them is to give a definition that will be in their favor like they will get a quick income without having exerting a huge effort. Perhaps you should teach the person who is willing to accept Bitcoin because Bitcoin can be discourage at the same time since not all the time it was not in good status. Besides, crypto can be risky so they must know it before they engage in any transaction to avoid any remorse.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to avoid fraudulent projects? on: October 23, 2019, 04:01:57 PM
I think there is still a way to overcome the problem of scamers in this crypto room (but I'm not saying to eliminate it completely). . This might not have a big effect but at least it can reduce some of the fraud projects that exist in this industry. . like avoiding and not promoting suspicious projects repeatedly. .
I have always observed that many of them and even have high ratings but still support suspicious projects, especially participants (social media).
maybe this is one reason why many fraud projects are increasingly rampant, because someone always gives hope to them and makes someone trapped in it.

so what do you think?
I draw the conclusion above based on what I saw there.
We cannot fully exterminate fraudulent projects in this industry but we can do something about it just like conducting some research first before we engage with them. It is better to promote a project that has integrity because how you would suppose to get paid if a certain project you promoting is scam hence, the best option is that obtain some knowledge or data regards to the project and even check their roadmap if will they meet target goal.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will be the Bitcoin Price If..... on: October 23, 2019, 03:31:03 PM
What u Think what will be the Bitcoin Price, If the Exchangers does not existing like binance.. Polo kraken and others 😀

Will it be Zero?  Or just as much someone is willing to pay to buy btc
why don't you think that binance or others will lose when they don't adopt bitcoin? Remember, bitcoin existed before the current popular market, so it seems like bitcoin and binance, or other exchangers will benefit each other, moreover I feel that most crypto users adopt bitcoin. if the price of bitcoin becomes zero, I think it will hurt almost all exchangers.
Indeed, if the bitcoin price will become zero then this will be a really huge problem. Bitcoin is more likely the center or transaction, most of the coins circulate around it is like their basis. The fact that bitcoin existed first before known exchanges that are proof that even if exchanges did not show up it will not be zero but also it will not have a great price as what it has now.
636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's acceptance in the World on: October 23, 2019, 02:27:39 PM
There is a major issue which is becoming resistance in the way of Bitcoin to be accepted globally and it is its "Volatility".
In the near past we have seen Bitcoin dropping more than 15% in a matter of 3-4 hours. And there are a number of cases in the past like this.

This property is too much dangerous for any entity which is holding Bitcoin. If a company sells products/services of 10000$ and receive payment in Bitcoin, and bitcoin loses 10% in one day then basically company has lost 10% worth of their products.

Scenarios where gross profit margins of the companies are less, this property makes nearly impossible to accept payments in Bitcoin. If volatility of bitcoin is decreased in the future, it would be  a major step ahead.
Well, you have a point but there's also a chance that they would get a huge profit if bitcoin pumps hence perhaps this is a matter of risk I'd say. In my opinion, Bitcoin is not really good at the payment for products/services due to volatility, on the other hand, this factor could really good for investment purposes. perhaps Bitcoin will be a good use for the daily transactions if its price would be stable somehow which is vague to happen.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people easily get scammed on the internet? on: October 23, 2019, 09:50:33 AM
Maybe you can add, lack of knowledge about technology. Most people has the money to invest but lacks knowledge on what and where they are going to be involved to. Not understanding the whole scope of the project, the purpose and it's potential. Also, you can add greed, most investors aim for profit, that is why scam developers create a project that shows a good profit acheme to attract greedy investors.
One factors could also be an impact is that lack of experience. Knowledge do important to avoid this scheme but experience as well. Ignorance, greed could also be a factors. In order to avoid to be scammed, don't go for a transaction without having any idea regard this. It is better to consult to a person who have experienced or ask some advice to a forum.
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Now is the time to invest into alt coin on: October 23, 2019, 07:52:19 AM
Alt coins keep dipping. Alt coins not even looked at. The forgotten. Only they talk about Bitcoin. We are here for crypto in general. Why not invest in something truly amazing while the bubble burst. RN my invest maybe up to 500$ will go into lisk, eth, and waves.. gl luck
Because altcoins are pegged to the bitcoin and that's normal to see that if they are discussing the bitcoin. I have prepared some money to invest in the altcoin and waiting for another bottom again. I will sell them all when they are gaining the next recovery phase.
You have point most of altcoin depending on Bitcoin, hence if Bitcoin make a move then other currency will do the same. Investing on altcoin is not bad decision but make sure that the coin you were going to invest with has high potential. Investing in altcoin could be profitable compared to Bitcoin but along with it there's a high risk embedded on it.
639  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020? on: October 23, 2019, 05:19:26 AM
Hy all. How are you. Bitcoin will rise to the moon in early 2020, do you know the reason? One reason is that more and more people are familiar with crypto and the digital world. Thanks. Cool
Actually, there's no one can exactly predict the reason why Bitcoin will rise besides, we don't know when it will happen. The only thing I am sure of is that Bitcoin will pump but soon hence, this is the right time buy so that you can get a high return if uptrend comes.
Popularity is also factor that could affect in fluctuations of crypto alongside with adaptation of big countries.
640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are People Losing Interest with Bitcoin? on: October 23, 2019, 03:33:44 AM
I think there are a lot of people who are losing interest in bitcoin. And I think that is because of the current situation of the prices. They don't think it is profitable enough that is why a lot of people are dumping their funds and just quit entirely.

Depite of this situatuon where crypto market price isn't appealing to our eyes, those that really understand the cryptocurrency will not lose their passion on what they are doing. They are already used to the systems and patterns of events that usually happens when the price decreases. In this regard, we can say that users who lose interest in crypto or bitcoin didn't find the potential of the coin. Not just in market price, but also in other aspects that can help them in their lifestyle paricularly in daily transactions.
Precisely, those who have faith and saw what Bitcoin capable is the true followers and those who quit after the downtrend are the people who only go for profit. Basically, people tend to lose their interest because of the downtrend and we cannot blame them. As true follower we should keep investing on it so that we can obtain its previleges.
