6201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Japan must be ready to issue central bank digital currency on: February 03, 2020, 09:48:00 AM
They will do the same thing as what China is planning to launch with CBDC. Japan is a very known crypto friendly country and that's why they might extend to issue their own CBDC. I think it will be the next trend which might be accepted for most countries. Each of them will create their own CBDC and then can be traded to bitcoin. This will make the crypto community grow even faster because the countries that are worrying about decentralization can connect their centralized coin and can eventually be traded for bitcoin.
6202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is it possible there are altcoins costing more than BTC? on: February 02, 2020, 10:48:54 PM
There's only 42 circulating supply for that coin and the volume isn't really so high. I've seen in the past that there's also another altcoin that costs more than bitcoin but it's likely to be a scam and was created just for the devs to make money.
Just ignore these coins, they are nothing honestly.
6203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest Crypto on: February 02, 2020, 10:08:31 PM
It is wise if you will invest only first the spare that you have. For a beginner that's asking questions like this, I will not tell them to invest the entire savings that they have. Understand it first that bitcoin is risky, it's a volatile asset that you need to reconsider it first before putting your all in it. But if you have already made up your mind and you completely understand the risk that it has and is now willing to invest with that amount, think of what price you'll aiming to achieve but of course the realistic ones.
6204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: February 02, 2020, 08:10:03 PM
Take a look.

A fight against Conor McGregor could generate $250 million and be Manny Pacquiao's retirement party, according to an expert

Why would Manny pass on this when he can retire getting at least $100 million.
Manny always generate huge revenue with each of his match and if this isn't enough for him, he could fight again for the very "last" time with another known boxer or someone like Conor. When we say "last" time, he mentioned it before that he's about to retire.
But then, we keep on saying matches after matches and rumors after rumors of fight for him so I guess I will not believe anymore if he ever says that he's going to retire.
6205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter adds Bitcoin emoji when hashtaging #Bitcoin on: February 02, 2020, 07:21:43 PM
Totally love the BCH and BSV digs. I wonder if the Bitcoin handle is going to change things around now though.

BTW. How do you add the emoji? I still don't see it when I open a Tweet and add the hashtag. I see the new emojis but on almost every post, it doesn't appear. Also can't seem to do it on mine.

Just post it and it will be there automatically. It wouldn't show until you tweet/post it.

not sure in desktop or browser tho.
It wouldn't show while typing in the desktop version.
Jack should've added this earlier but even with this small update, this is huge for the community. Hoping that he won't add those forks icon if they start to request for the same feature.
6206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to survive if you lose more than 80% of your Capital? on: February 01, 2020, 08:37:21 PM
During the bearish market, everyone is at loss because we seem to depend to the numbers during the ATH. And the best thing to do during that time is either HODL and buy. If you have panicked during that time, the value of your money went down and you definitely at loss even until now. But, if you remain holding and became patient, you are somehow recovered right now at least 40%-50%. And if you have bought a lot during the lowest and you've bought bitcoin, you are in total profit now.
6207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Talk on: February 01, 2020, 11:58:48 AM
The campaign has ended and if you're very interested to join their forum, then join. They've just ran a campaign here managed by yahoo that's why you have seen their signature to many members and now, that it has ended. They want people to join their forum directly to continue the campaign. AFAIK, there's still an active campaign there for every member on that forum but they also have certain rules about it. I guess there is no need to talk about it anymore and it's now time to lock the thread.
6208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is digital gold good? on: February 01, 2020, 10:52:29 AM
This is the one that has an active bounty right now. I usually not investing to 'digital golds' because with the experience in the past, many of those kind of projects didn't end well. Instead of investing to this digital gold, I'll invest to the true and one that's been compared to be the digital gold and that is bitcoin.
It's a better choice than that.
6209  Local / India / Re: india bitcoin rules on: February 01, 2020, 09:50:36 AM
AFAIK, it's not the gov't that has problem with the adoption of bitcoin. But, the banks themselves are the ones that's halting the progress of bitcoin adoption in India. Correct me if there are members here that currently follows that issue on your country.
This is the recent news that we have from them: Crypto Exchange Zebpay Reopens in India Despite Banking Ban
6210  Economy / Economics / Re: Dow Jones Price Drop & The Corona Virus? on: February 01, 2020, 09:05:23 AM
We're having a lot of thoughts whenever there's a quick spread disease like this. I've heard it's a warfare tactic to take down China's economy since they are the main target of the virus. But, the good news[1] is that there are news lately that says there's already a treatment for those who are affected.

6211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The profitability and effort put into different ways of earning bitcoin on: January 31, 2020, 10:49:08 PM
Blogging is on the high profitability corner because it's for real but it's not that you can easily make money through making 1, 2 or 3 blogs. It takes time for your blog to be monetized unless you are writing for companies and you've been tied up with them with a certain contract for which you need to provide blogs or articles to them in scheduled manner. But making your own brand alone, this is going to be a difficult beginning although mostly it's really the hardest part of everything.
6212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best Bitcoin hardware wallets? (Merits for help) on: January 31, 2020, 10:18:19 PM
Sticking to the trusted names is always a good idea. We should not be innovative in situation where money is involved. I would always recommend the first two wallets in the list to anyone who is planning to buy. I have been using Tezos for a year now and have not faced any issue with it.
Don't you worry, I know OP knows what he's doing in the search for a hardware wallet and is aware of the known and trusted hardware wallets in the market now.

Jesus, I mean I'd love to have that hardware wallet, but I expect that costs north of $3,000.
Hehe.

I'll wait until the bounty ends and maybe this is another wallet to be on the list of owning. But, if it tends to be breakable and this bounty didn't end well, no need to even desire for this or any other wallet.  Tongue
6213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best Bitcoin hardware wallets? (Merits for help) on: January 30, 2020, 11:50:03 PM
I've spent time looking for those hardware wallets that you have missed. And I've seen this one[1] on Hardware wallets

Actually, if I'm about to buy, I'll not choose any new or another kind of wallet. I'll stay to Ledger wallet or probably Trezor with both models.
Currently, I own a Ledger Nano S.
6214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you gamble in a league with serious allegations of collusion? on: January 30, 2020, 10:59:24 PM
It's best to stay away on these type of games unless you're an insider IMO.
I'm also likely to stay away from this type of games unless I'm not really aware of it and it tends to be like that. But for those professional bettors that has been in this kind of setting, aware or not, they wouldn't mind about it. As long as they can continue with their plan, bet with each match, depends on the odds or base on their analysis, they'll just bet as is. I think that's the perspective of those bettors that are really experienced in sports betting.
6215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ethbulk.com wallet is safe? on: January 30, 2020, 09:50:55 PM
Never heard of that before so if you're into that kind of transaction better not use an unknown website or wallet provider. The option that I can tell you is to create a simple test run for bounty hunters by just asking their ETH addresses to send them a giveaway token. Take note to them that it's just a test run because you're still in trial phase. But this shouldn't work if you want the control for those addresses.

Download coinomi wallet on play store and create a wallet, write down your recovery phrase and keep privately, you an create multiple ETH address on coinomi, that website is not safe
IIRC, Coinomi only uses one Eth address per account? CMIIW.
6216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Video Game Company Supports Cryptocurrency on: January 30, 2020, 08:08:47 PM
It will be much better if they will add crypto support in thier shop
It is better if they will do it like that. But there must be some reasons why they haven't done that or they are cooking something that might shock their customers and even the cryptocurrency communities. I'll the be one to quickly purchase a game with bitcoin if they have started accepting payments with it.

I am happy when I see that new partner is on the same boat, especially when we talk about a video game company, many young people play games, understand computer technology, so the best audience for new digital technology.
Yes, the next generation would be the best one to be exposed with this kind of technology. But for the profit generation of their company, they have to stick with where they're earning and they are still doubtful to simply add the crypto payment option.
6217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie in trading cryptocurrency and forex on: January 29, 2020, 11:26:01 PM
The first thing that you need to do is to make an account on an exchange. Knowing where to exchange and trade crypto is the first thing that you need to put in your mind. And choosing the best does matter much, everybody will suggest you to start trading on Binance. Next is the crypto that you will trade and that means choosing what pairs you want to trade, for beginners it's advisable to get to start with bitcoin and usdt first so that you can have an experience knowing how the market runs. There are also some beginners tool where you can try to trade with free money so that you can exercise and practice trading there. You have to search them on google, it doesn't require any amount to deposit if you would love to try them.
6218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quick Survey: why do you specifically use crypto to gambooool ? on: January 29, 2020, 10:35:15 PM
Others.
Other than being unique because the traditional way of gambling that we used to grow up is with fiat. So why not take it to the next level and gamble with cryptocurrencies? the features that it has provided to us are awesome as mentioned by everyone. For withdrawals, majority of the reputable casinos will not give you an headache.

thats us people  .

we love to try something that is new   , and crypto is new so we imediately grab it and we are impress because using crypto in a gambling site is perfect because we all know that gambling site are sometimes not legal and also , our personal bank or credit cards wont allow to link to a gambling site   . we only need to be careful by chosing a crypto wallet because some crypto wallet does not also allow fund that came from gambling site  .
We love to do it as long as it's possible and legitimate. There were new methods that I have seen before but many of them were not legitimate and just made their casino with a different purpose. It is one of the usefulness of crypto casino, we don't have to link our cards at least for some there is an option to link your cards and get with KYC for approval of your accounts or increase in limitation. But most casinos doesn't require KYC which is being liked by many for the convenience that it brings.
6219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Hunter stop free promoting! We are not Beggars! on: January 29, 2020, 09:56:17 PM
Looking for a project that does use an escrow is hard these days. Before it's very essential to see those kind of bounties but things has changed. If the bounty doesn't meet your criteria, don't join them. You have no obligation to join all of them, as long as you are okay with the conditions the bounty you have joined, stay with them. I can understand why many bounty hunters are doing it, joining as many as they can so that the possible paying bounty will increase if they have joined many of them.

but using an escrow in bounty campaign is really possible  ? i havent see one myself  tbh but im the ones that also lurk on the bounties before  . why use escrow when there isnt no coin to escrow yet ? because they dont have thier coins with them or they lock them  . some have the coin already but its not listed yet , so useless to escrow the coin without a value   . joining multiple bounties is the only thing that a bounty hunter can do so that he can increase his luck of getting payed off .
Yes, before probably you're not a member of this forum during that time. Lots of bounty campaigns that has escrowed the funds for their participants. One idea that will make you believe that is to look for those known escrows and see the history of their escrowing career.
I think you'll see that many of them has escrowed funds from projects and bounties before so that's going to give you an idea that it's really happening. But right now, the projects seem to be lack of that setup and they just want to distribute it on their own which leads most likely to scam.
6220  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Please clear my doubt. on: January 29, 2020, 09:26:30 PM
And I still remember when ALL transactions on Coinbase were free. It's one of reasons why they attracted so many users in their early years in business.
It's not only coinbase that charged transactions for free before but many wallets did as well. I can still remember those young fine days of mine when I have started knowing about bitcoin. @OP, it's clear to you now that transactions like this are for free but with some certain condition of sending it thru the email address of the recipient.
Since, it's all been answered now, you're free to lock the topic.
