6201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The time of seriousness is disappearing on: July 03, 2019, 04:24:00 AM
So the price exceeded $11k now, so what's next? do those so called experts will change their story to fit their narrative? I wouldn't bother, we have been in this game for so long to understand and learn to read between the lines.
I dont trust any social media or news channel based on crypto niche. They are shady and always promoting things to get paid. Hoenstly they dont have any proper source of income except the traffic that get monetized and affiliate links. Google does not allow such sites to get paid by their ads so thats out of the question. So that they rely on is to get paid media out and thus these site are full of real news to some extent and some fake analytics in order to inflate the daily content count, which would otherwise be empty everyday.

If you want to trade then do your own TA then depending on other people doing it and news channels dont reveal them before the movements start. They do it after, so they have all the time in the world to correct their predictions.
6202  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to Bitcoin if there is a global economic crash? on: July 03, 2019, 04:19:29 AM
I think if the economic development of this Global world will be crash and then the possibility of Bitcoin to be legally accepted by all over the world this affects the value to be increased only and the demand is more and more increased for the Bitcoin so that it can actually get any value in the future.
How will the economic development crash overnight? Its not something that happens anytime commonly and most governments have analytics running extrapolations to prevent these from happening. Thats why different methods and schemes are made in order to make sure the demand supply balance in maintained and the inflation rate is kept in control.

Bitcoin is promising to this but we have already seen how far the government are trying to censor crypto and thus I dont think they would be happy to accept it. Unless of course big industrialists and companies force them to accept it, in which case they might.
6203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From Janitor to Millionaire on: July 02, 2019, 05:24:15 AM
This is to remind us that gambling is all just about luck.  It's just ironic to see that those who dedicate most of their time on gambling rarely wins. But those who just bets on a lottery occasionally are blessed by luck to have a chance to change their life.
These news are only to remind you of your own addiction to play. Grin

They want nothing but their old players to come back and bust their winning in the same casino. These are marketing methods to manipulate greedy players and new players into joining a site for playing. I am more than assured that the news are paid by the casino owners. Winning a lottery does sound tempting to try out but there is no guarantee that you will be the next big winner. In fact you may never win at all and keep on buying tickets.
6204  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is margin trading worth checking out? on: July 02, 2019, 05:21:02 AM
sometimes many people try margin trading but have no control, and that will disrupt financially. I think this is a big job for traders before making margin trading it would be nice to make careful planning and of course good control.
Planning out a good control is a false thinking here. Once you start margin trading you would know how much stressful it is for the trader both mentally and physically. If you want to remain sane and earn money you should look for other sources of earning. When you take a loan to put on a leverage you are risking your money like anything. Moreover there is the constant pressure of being liquidated and that needs you to pay fees to keep your positions open. Keep losing sleep there and soon your own health will deteriorate.

Being a broker here is nothing different. Unless you find out a method to automate such brokerage. But that is another topic altogether.
6205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc has no value on: July 02, 2019, 05:17:58 AM
The value of bitcoin depends on the persons understanding and how he/she is using it, it's true that it has no physical value but bitcoin can be exchange for fiat and buy goods online so the value of bitcoin cannot be determined just by saying it has no value because it is not a paper money.
Paper money also has no value practically. It has a value because of the consensus that yes this is one dollar bill and thus I can use it for paying 1 dollar. Similarly with any asset people have decided a value of that asset based on market last trades.

Bitcoin is also having a value financially from the exchanges trading on it, however the real value comes from the community support behind bitcoin and the whales who make the market rise and fall. People who try to venture here with the idea of making money quickly will get burnt out easily because they dont understand these fundamentals about bitcoin.
6206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about a Bitcoin government ? on: July 02, 2019, 05:13:44 AM
We can do better without any bitcoin government.. so no need of any government.. well rules and regulations are necessary for everyone...
A governance is needed for any system to work properly and ensure reduction in different forms of abuse. Fortunately that is not possible for bitcoin as a transaction system. So there is no need for any central authority to watch over it. However the thing that is needed is a bit of regulation among the different companies associated with bitcoin, such as miners, service providers, exchanges and news media. All these working together will keep the ecosystem healthy and reduce the bunch of fake news and FUD that get posted in several places by delusional trolls.

However that is far from what is happening and thus I dont see the massive FUD that happens with every bear market to ever reduce.
6207  Economy / Economics / Re: Looking at Bitcoin's price increase via YEARLY LOWS on: July 01, 2019, 02:33:40 PM
Considering the present market condition, bitcoin has really a bright future ahead. But predicting it to become zero value in the future,i think it's too far from possibility.People will always grab the chance to buy more bitcoins especially if its price makes a drastic fall.
That is why its price going to zero is having a very small possibility. Unless something drastic happens like Satoshi's wallet selling off its share of bitcoins I dont see how this will happen.

Quote
So there's no chance that bitcoin will have no value, instead it will continue to grow its price if investors will chose to keep their bitcoins than selling them.
Investors are more interested in making money. They are more of the market makers who buy/sell regularly. The hodlers of bitcoin are going to hold it though thick and thin. Would be good to see bitcoin cross 12k and then grow to 15k soon. I was hoping for a dip soon so people can buy a bit in the meantime as a small "break" in this bullrun.
6208  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a leading currency? on: July 01, 2019, 02:30:28 PM
bitcoin is still growing now, and certainly in the future I believe that bitcoin will grow again. although sometimes bad news about bitcoin happens. but in essence bitcoin continues to grow and develop.
I dont see how bitcoin ever had any bad news. If you talk about speculation then a lot of blind followers make false assumptions and dream on them what would happen next. That is no way a news, just delusions. If you talk about people scamming crypto then its also got nothing to do with bitcoin because it was the transaction method used and not the scam itself.

As you can see if you look carefully through every "biased" news article out there, very few times have we had bad news for crypto mostly being declared illegal by other countries. Rest of the news is just speculation.
6209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is blockchain gambling business beneficial? on: July 01, 2019, 02:27:15 PM
You think STO funded "blockchain" will be censorship resistance? I do not think so. It will probably be allowed to exist like real blockchain in short term and eventually be turned into a centralized platform bringing back most of the problems that exist in centralized gambling
Every STO is nothing new to the ICO scheme. People tend to think that because they are security tokens they are ensured. They are not and neither are their money safe. Crypto is still a grey area for most people and law enforcement about what to do in case of theft of funds.

We have gambling projects setting up ICOs - which is enough to fund them. No need to another STO for the same. Taking into account that most people who are investing in gambling sites are gamblers themselves, hence they would not want a KYCed procedure to invest. Thus I believe even though blockchain associated with gambling is a revolutionary concept, it is more of a "privacy needed for gambling" thing.
6210  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Nexo - "Earn 8% dividend a year with no risks" on: June 30, 2019, 03:42:29 PM
While 8% sounds really good, it's suspiciously quite high though.
Its 8% per year. Actually its only 6.5% per year. Thats like regular bank accounts.

So thats a pretty small amount considering the risk that you are taking to put your asset into a third party lending platform and allowing them to lend it to users. It might seem lucrative as a source of passive income - let your money grow but most of the time it ends up with problems since here on the internet nobody is going to investigate properly and judge in case a theft of funds happen. These sections are grey enough to allow shady companies to take advantage.

Nonetheless, I am not saying that NEXO is a scam, but I would tread carefully with my coins. I prefer to look them with me rather than invest them. But those who want to take risk are free to do so. Let them judge the level of security measure that NEXO takes.

Offtopic: What happened to SALT Lending? I heard some rumors that SALT was liquidated into NEXO from some sources which I am not sure if they are conspiracy theories without proof or true.
6211  Economy / Securities / Re: Partnership-HandMade-Crypto on: June 30, 2019, 02:45:30 PM
I have seen your products and though I have never bought any but I can say that you have talent. However I have to warn you that people in this forum are very picky about whom to put their money in because of the rampancy of scammers in every corner of the internet.

Anyway if you are need of some funding you should look for a patronage from local sharks than this forum. Here nobody is going to send you a penny without a collateral. Even if you visit your nearest bank you would have to pledge a collateral. Other than that someone in your family/friends/locality might be able to help you, in other words someone who knows you and has contact with you already enough to trust you.

Good luck with your work. Wink
6212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I screwed? on: June 30, 2019, 08:13:19 AM
It depends if you bought at $3.5k then sold it at $7.5k+ the you are now screwed and you got a good profit, just wait for the dip again in the upcoming months because i think bitcoin will go back again at $7k range if you want to buy again.
Bitcoin is currently going up so if the OP was still holding those coins bought at 7.5k he would be at a good profit. If they sell at 11k and then hold the fiat to buy the dip then he can recycle the money.

Of course I am hoping a dip to not happen soon and thus bull run to extend further, but being practical there had been many buyers are levels close to this so they will become sellers at this point. Seeing bitcoin break the 12k barrier would be great and it would be an indication that the bulls have been more powerful with their money than the bears. I would go long on this.
6213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to beat the household? on: June 30, 2019, 07:09:56 AM
The inner greed usually win over him leaving out.
Not if someone is able to control their emotions and impulsive behavior. Again most gamblers are those who act on impulses, the opposite group are the non-gamblers. So the chance is very low for a gambler to be someone who has control over impulses.

Quote
The house will be out of business so you don't have any place to gamble if people beats the house, they will give you chance to enjoy and earn earnings but beating is almost impossible. They'd prefer to scam the gamblers than allow you to beat them and in that case you may not withdraw your funds and will be subjected for review that will last months til you quit.
I dont get the idea of scamming gamblers, seems to me you are trying to make things up. The online casino have a provably fair system in their code. You can verify every bet that you place and thus they are not scamming people. I cant say the same for physical casinos though because humans have the habit of covering up things which the digital world does not allow. Being subjected to review in again within the TnC of most casinos but I doubt such incidents having taken place.
6214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trading experience on: June 30, 2019, 07:05:47 AM
I don't think it's a very good idea if you just copy someone else's signals and don't do your own research. First of all, you need to develop the skills of a trader and learn it hard. Therefore, even if you trade on signals, you should still conduct your own research.
It is a horrible idea. You are literally living like a parasite on someone else's work. Besides what proof do you have that all the signals posted are legit? There are many pump and dump groups will post such fake signals in order to create a fake market tension and buying/selling pressure because the owner of that group was to take advantage of their money.

Literally its a scam but there is no method to properly prove it and thus I suggest people to stay away from such signals groups.

Honestly if someone has insider info why would they leak it - they would rather use it for themselves to make money. Such "generosity" is obviously suspicious.
6215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Intraday vs HODL on: June 30, 2019, 07:02:35 AM
I recently have a lot of doubts about the exchange binance.  I was alarmed by the information that came out with the administration of the trading exchanges that they have access to Kursin funds and user data and can act on them at their discretion, despite the announcement of decentralization.  This is generally utter nonsense.  I'm just in shock.
Keep on trusting centralized exchanges and you will see more such "incidents" happen. We humans dont learn from our mistakes - we have learnt about decentralization but have failed to understand what it truely means.

Of course a proper dex is something of dream but close it is also possible. Again people keep using centralized exchanges because of the lack of dex which are available and they always have apprehension of their funds. These things I hope would change in future and people can fearlessly exchange their coins.

For now the best thing would be to use the exchange that you know and trust keeping an eye out for any changes there.
6216  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ✅ Cloud mining by ECOS on: June 30, 2019, 06:58:48 AM
Is it shady, mates?
It always becomes shady when a unknown "company" like this one starts posting pictures of another known company like Bitmain. Without providing proof of their claims they are trying to attract buyers for the contracts. This is robbery at its best which is easy to do in the internet.

Quote
I am not that good in analysis and I see some bad reviews, so I don't know if it worth investing or not...
Reviews are always biased so no use reading and making an opinion from the. Any cloud mining site is going to be scam in the long term whether it be a long drawn con or a short con. If you are going to invest in it then its your choice but I would steer clear of this one or any other "cloud mining". Wink
6217  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ✅ Cloud mining by ECOS on: June 29, 2019, 06:26:45 PM
@ECOS_CloudMining
Stop dodging the legitimate claims. You have dared to post pictures of another mining company (Bitmain) from the Tibilisi World Blockchain Summit and you think that makes you a saint? Its a different company altogether and has no connection to your company, which if it does would be posted by you already.

We have been in this for a long time now and we know how petty lowlifes like you try to steal money from people in the name of "cloud mining" when its nothing but a ponzi scheme.
6218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrency soon be an alternate payment option? on: June 29, 2019, 09:46:32 AM
i own a couple of cryptocurrencies actually but i don't think it's going to be an accepted mode of payment anytime soon. This would take quite sometime to be realized. Many people think cryptocurrencies are scams and this is really disrupting the trust that users must have in it.
Most people actually understand the potential crypto has. What you are hearing is a cliche concept of someone who does not know something and thus they go around calling it scam. What maybe a scam is a ponzi scheme or a failed trading method which that person probably was fooled into thinking would double their money. That is nothing to do with crypto being a scam.

What is good is that big industries and companies are starting to recognize crypto as a force to be reckoned with so this will push the governments to accepting crypto as a trade-able asset and thus reduce the mental barrier that people have while thinking of trading then in fiat.
6219  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is margin trading worth checking out? on: June 29, 2019, 09:39:10 AM
Trying new things will not harm you but as many people have advised, you need to have a control. If it is under a MUST you want too experiment with this margin trading, I will employ you to start with a little money that if you eventually lose, it will not affect you financially.
I am sure you are commenting without knowing even a little bit about what margin trading is. Please stop doing so and giving wrong advice to newbies. This is the reason many people get burnt in crypto and other speculative market because they are over-enthusiastic and willing to jump into every money earning method they can find.

crypto margin trading is indeed at risk. it does not have strong confidence to be able to survive long-term in generating profits. I was also offered many times to join margin trading but I refused because I was not sure about that.
It may be able to generate long term profits but that is a different issue. For someone who is new to the market they should focus on spot trading to understand how the market works and how to manage their money. Margin trading is for the experienced whales who manipulate the market and move it according to their will.
6220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any knows the mathematical formula to winning the lottery? on: June 29, 2019, 09:31:37 AM
The house will prevent the gamblers from getting a big win in any games in their places, and they will make sure no formula will work in the games. Maybe it can work for a while, but after that, I am sure that the house will prevent that thing is to happen again. The people who can get the winning must have big luck in the game, but he needs to control his emotion to continue the games. Otherwise, he can lose everything in the next games.
The house does not "prevent" a player from getting a big win. In that case there would not be anyone winning big and being a high roller. What the problem is with players is they play too much because they are addicted and they think using some so-called strategy will make them win big. This is false because then retrospectively there would be a millionaire who could use their mathematical skills to make a big win and bankrupt every casino. This did not happen and hence the assumption is false. A strategy is just another fake assumption that gamblers make in order to make themselves think that they are going to win. In fact every roll is unique and thus any strategy will fail.
