6222  Economy / Economics / Re: Money printing and inflation whos payed allready for this ? on: January 10, 2021, 10:52:31 PM
And with inflation, we really are likely to see bitcoin $100k - $1M if the printing continues.
Federal reserve is serial money printer
They have to print money as aid for their citizens in the fight against the pandemic. But it's expected to bring inflation, higher inflation with trillions of money that have printed.
And we'll see it affect bitcoin to increase in price.
6223  Economy / Speculation / Re: to sell or buy BTC? on: January 10, 2021, 10:25:46 PM
what should we do if we have some bitcoin at this time, regarding the increase in bitcoin prices that we see today, of course the value is very high compared to the increase in the past years, so do we have to sell some bitcoins at the current price, or even we add value to the amount of BTC that we have today by buying it at the current price for us to store for quite a long time ,?
What are the suggestions & opinions of all of your friends who are here?
Your question isn't that hard to answer. Do you want to profit? sell. It's all you have to do but if you have plans for more than the price we have today, sell only what you like to take in cash.
We still have a long way to go before selling entirely your bitcoin stash or at least leave some bitcoin at your stash for future proofs.
6224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange in US must face regulations? on: January 10, 2021, 10:06:31 PM
I want to confirm if this claim from EZ365 team sounds good enough to have some patience, the team claimed that due to SEC and regulation problem is why they haven't launched their exchange and the exchange is in US, can this really cause the delays?
SEC is strict and whoever that team is could be telling the truth. There's a hot issue with SEC against projects like XRP and may also affect other projects and other services and businesses that are related to cryptocurrencies.
That's why exchanges have a different portal/platform for US citizens just like Binance. While the others that are US based, don't have to do it as long as they're from US.

Centra is a scam, don't think of it anymore.

6227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people seem to value 1 full BTC? on: January 10, 2021, 10:58:31 AM
I see lots of people placing value specifically on owning full (1) BTC. Is this just a flex, or is there some advantage to this, versus just owning some fractions of BTC?
Obviously, you have more if you own 1 whole bitcoin than just fractions. And whenever the price increases by $1,000, you'll feel the gains.
Unlike with the slightest amount that you have in fractions, you barely feel the gains.
6228  Economy / Economics / Re: Money printing and inflation whos payed allready for this ? on: January 10, 2021, 10:31:49 AM
AFAIK, there could be another $3T that will be injected on Biden's term. And I don't know if it's just the first batch on his term and there will be another series of it soon.
It's no wonder BTC keeps moving up for all we know their governments are also buying BTC.
And with inflation, we really are likely to see bitcoin $100k - $1M if the printing continues.
6229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The price of Bitcoin broke $40,000 for the first time. on: January 10, 2021, 09:58:18 AM
The price of Bitcoin broke $40,000 for the first time.
And on the same day of January 8, bitcoin hit $41k for the first time too. While today, the price is $41k again.
I estimate that the price of bitcoin this year will move in the range of $100,000 per btc to $200,000 per btc
Many predictions were said with the same price as you.
$ 100k is still too far for now,
Not that far anymore. We're just $4900 last year and it's $40k, that's not far anymore if we'll include the past year's movement of bitcoin.
6230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Gatehub scam? on: January 10, 2021, 09:36:54 AM
I've never used that exchange but you have to wait for their response on what actually happened.
Many people are complaining about them asking for ID verification, which I'm ok with. But this is very scary.

I have emailed their support, I hope they reply back soon.
This story makes me worry about your transfer but I hope that I'm wrong with that worry and they shall help you with the concern that you've sent to them. Wait if they'll respond to you within 24 hours or less than that.
6231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Issue withdrawing from Metamask on: January 10, 2021, 09:15:45 AM
Just set and increase the fee, just keep trying until it's able to be pressed. Ethereum transactions today are quite high and the fees should have been increased for you to continue.
It will be allowed once you hit the right and recommended fee.

Even trying to send just 15$ worth of ETH, it doesn't activate the button.

Thanks tabas
Yeah, even you send just $10 or $15 if you don't pay the fee that's recommended by the network. It won't pursue.
Just check how much the recommended fee for the gas by this time if it's not yet sent.
6232  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why did Bitcoin raise past $30,000? on: January 10, 2021, 08:50:06 AM
I don’t know why Bitcoin plummets, but it seems to be a gamble with all sorts of currencies.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Bitcoin is volatile which makes it risky. It is not a surprise if we see it plummet. But it plummets to $30k? that's a good buy if you see the price today.
Many would rush to buy it if it will step back to that price. But it is staying on $40k and that's harder to see it step back on $35k. The lowest that we saw for a correction was $37k.
6233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: So is it appropriate for us to BUY XRP now? on: January 09, 2021, 04:17:44 PM
Buy, if you like to buy.
The risk is known because of SEC and if you like to pursue it, there are still exchanges that haven't removed it. Meaning, that they're still having it but they might surprise with an announcement of removing it.
That's the risk buying XRP has now.
6234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Issue withdrawing from Metamask on: January 09, 2021, 03:43:07 PM

6235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin has the most investment value in the cryptocurrency field? on: January 09, 2021, 12:45:14 PM
From the coinmarketcap, we could see lot of coins and tokens listed on daily basis. Some have potential to give investors good returns while some are just shitcoins that drain one hard earn money. This year is anticipated to be a bullish year for crypto, what is the best crypto you will stockpile outside Bitcoin.  before the closed of the first half of the year.
Next to bitcoin and that's Ethereum.
I think we should buy Bitcoin first. Institutional investments in Bitcoin continue and I think it will continue until 70000 dollars. At the same time i can recommend Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Waves.
He just said 'outside bitcoin' which I understand as except bitcoin. He prolly knows that bitcoin is the best option but there are investors that also sees the potential in the altcoins especially if the season of it comes.
6236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think of Vechain, Tron, & XRP ? on: January 09, 2021, 10:00:05 AM
You can start to accumulate XRP with small volumes but never go more than you can't afford to lose.
I won't take the risk of buying it while having a case against the SEC. I don't think that's a smart buy although if there are risk-takers here and see it as a buying opportunity. You need to wait until they settle their problem and that will determine if it's a good buy or not anymore.
The TRX has a future like Doge and an only a small percentage of your altcoin portfolio should be Tron.
Doge has no more future. It's just a meme coin that's made but still built its community and liked by everyone.
6237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase vault on: January 09, 2021, 08:40:47 AM
Yes, I've been receiving email notifications that my Ethereum transfer is pending. I was just surprised to see my portfolio balance drop like that by the amount of Ethereum I had. I don't remember seeing it do that before. But maybe it's normal. Thanks for the reply.
If it's recorded and says that it's pending. Wait until it has been successfully processed. And even you contact support, it will take you time before you get a response.
You have to wait until it's finally done.
6238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be too happy on: January 09, 2021, 07:51:21 AM
You have a point but bitcoin is about freedom and everyone can use and buy it at all certain levels of life. Normal and ordinary guy or an entire enterprise and corporation. Nothing stops them and individuals to buy bitcoin.
As long as they're happy to buy it, we all should be happy if there are more investors coming and making bitcoin's price higher.
6239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the biggest mistake you've made on crypto? on: January 09, 2021, 07:17:08 AM
Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to do without mistakes, but it is even more difficult to accept them and realize that this is just a part of our life.
For me personally, it was devastating to sell a few bitcoins at a low price back in 2016. Of course, the understanding of my mistake came only in 2017.
We did mistakes on 2017 and we might make mistakes again for this year. The common mistake that we did was we never bought at the low price and sold at the highest price.
It is happening again for this year with some investors but for us who have learned, don't make the same mistakes and take your profits.
For people who do caught in FOMO then for sure they would really be experiencing some loss and for those who do have experience back in the past will really be

keen on making such step and hesitance but with those noob mistakes on diving into the market without any analysis did really play out well. For those who had bought on 20-24k

to believe that the price might shooting up more then they did really a right call. For those who have doubted then we had already made out an another mistake.
Those who had bought on $20k-$24k have the guts to buy because it's the ATH by that time and like most of everyone's thought, they're all the same thinking that no one would buy at the top and knowing that it's the new ATH, it's more fearing.
But no way, they've done it and they deserve the profit that they've made and just almost doubled it if ever they've bought a whole bitcoin.
6240  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC crossed $34K. $40K this week? on: January 09, 2021, 06:36:45 AM
Just as the discussion if it's possible, well then, it happened. For short term traders, they're taking profits but I don't want to put pressure to myself. HODL is much easier this time as we keep reaching new ATH day after day.
New question upcoming for the nex ATH, $50k and so on.  Tongue

Short term traders try hard to take a position but not all of them are trade profitable. Even many traders have lost all their funds and given up trading. And those who have long-term plans for Bitcoin, they have not lost their money at all and are now enjoying the current bull market. Now Bitcoin is making new athletes every day, I still don't know where this race will end.
I agree that not all of them are profitable and there's likely that more they are losing than making if they keep chasing the market. The best strategy is just to watch the market and if you intend to buy at lows, set a price that you'll buy it then. But if you intend to sell, sell it with the price that you really want to sell. And as I've said, holding is easier, no need to think a lot unless there's an instance you have to start selling some.
