Their business model seems to be working fine. They've been around for a quite long time now. So don't see why would they risk it all by scamming people.
And I don't think that many users will choose to deposit there to gamble. I personally like to play at odds lower than x2, so this one's not for me.

OK. Here's the link to the AMA session on reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2ldjk7/hello_rbitcoin_im_patrick_murck_executive/it has already ended. Haven't had a chance to read through it yet, I'm just about to start. Heres the PhinnaeusGage Q and A: Q: I just took the time to read all the comments to date to see if a certain concern had been addressed, opting to not search the page.
Sadly, it had not, but at least I was amused with all the softball questions that I can't help myself from thinking some were contrived beforehand to control the narrative.
KnC Miner.
KnC Miner and The Bitcoin Foundation are on record in stating that the former paid the $100K USD fee to become a Platinum Member of TBF. TBF ONLY accepts memberships fees via a dedicated bitcoin wallet address, but said fee amount is nowhere to be found.
In spite of all the scuttlebutt on BitcoinTalk, TBF had yet to address concerns about said payment, in spite of such being an important issue at the time due to now/then KnC gaining unique voting rights for the then upcoming elections for vacated board seats in which Bobby Lee and Brock Pierce won.
Question: Where's the proof that KnC Miner truly did pay for their Platinum Member to join The Bitcoin Foundation, given that such is no state secret because bitcoins were supposed to be used and full-transparency is what TBF adheres to?
~Bruno Kucinskas A: Hi Bruno.
I double-checked and we sent KNC Miner an invoice via BitPay for $100,000 USD (Platinum Membership price), which they paid timely. PhinnaeusGage: That is great! Now, show us the tx on the blockchain, since such is going to be disclosed anyway come tax time, you might as well show us said proof now to quell further discontent.

Yes I did get paid last week, but it was also late as well. It appeared to be all there though. I try to make a random account per week to make sure the wagered n such matches.
That's good thinking Im sure he will get to it. PRC 2.0 is supposed to me automated + automatic pay. Which will be really cool.
I sure hope so. Thanks for replying

Generally when bitcoin is on down-trend, the whole community becomes less active and apathetic. On the other hand, during sudden price drops, many people will try gambling to compensate their losses.

Have the affiliate payments been made today? I haven't got mine, and I know I should be getting some.
Hi, sorry for the delay with the affiliate payments. There was a problem with the payment processor. I'll fix it and get them paid tomorrow. Any luck with fixing that payment processor? No payment was made yesterday...

Can somebody tell me what the "waiting" means on my referral list? Waiting for what?
Waiting for the payment date. But if the amount to receive is nil, it won't change.

Dean,
You forgot affiliate pay this Monday.

You have to pay to go to the hospital in Poland? If you can't pay do they just let you die?
Nope. There's a 'free healthcare', but there are also private hospitals (like the one mentioned) for those who are not willing to wait months/years for the first available term to see a specialist doctor etc

Thanks for the payment. It was a pleasure.
Hope you'll change your mind and will do another campaign when prcdice2 is launched. If you limit it to senior members and above (sig visibility + posts quality) you may get a better results (seems to work fine for fortunejack).

But.... I wasn't paid??
I don't think prc has paid out yet. The post above was from the 26 Oct. Nope, not paid yet. From prcdice chat: 14:35: Dean Nolan Hi guys, need to pop out for a couple hours and then I'll do the sig campaign payments He'll be sending the payments in few hours.

Can't wait for the AMA Why? Doubt he'd answer any controversial questions or question we want asked. Someone should ask them to disband or put unnoficial in front of their name . I don't think he'll be able to avoid difficult questions as those will probably be the majority. So the question is, whether he'll provide honest answers or feed us with some bullshit. Not necessarily looking for real answers but the uncertainties in how it will go on both the question and answer sides will make it entertaining to read. That's for sure. Get your popcorn ready.

After Jon Matonis' resignation, the new Executive Director, Patrick Murck, acknowledges the need to repair relationship between foundation and community. He'll be doing AMA on Reddit on 5th November. http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-foundations-new-head-patrick-murck-outlines-future-plans/The Bitcoin Foundation's new executive director Patrick Murck has outlined his priorities for the organization's "new direction" and its relationship with stakeholders.
His statement follows yesterday's resignation of former executive director Jon Matonis both from the post and his position on foundation's board.
Notably, former general counsel Murck acknowledged a need to repair the foundation's relationship with the bitcoin community, even if that meant sometimes adopting unpopular or controversial positions on some issues, and taking risks with communication and transparency to demonstrate honest engagement.
He wrote:
"That means we may not always say exactly the right thing and we might not always be on message, but we will be authentic in how we interact with the community in the future and I hope that you all get to know the people who work hard to make the foundation go."
There will be an 'ask me anything' (AMA) session for the new executive director on Reddit on 5th November, at which the community is invited to join in with their own questions about the foundation's future role.
Murck stated his first priority is to "cut out distractions" to better serve the bitcoin cause, which means a sharp focus on standardization through the bitcoin core reference implementation and doing more to support those building the bitcoin infrastructure.
Additionally he promised to run the non-profit foundation more like a business – finding new ways to generate funding, rather than simply relying on membership dues and hopes of bitcoin price appreciation.

The owners of the troubled digital currency exchange MintPal are moving to take legal action against former Moopay LTD CEO Alex Green.
Green, who was once known as Ryan Kennedy, is accused of stealing as much as 4,000 BTC ($1.3m at press time) in user funds from MintPal following its failed relaunch and the subsequent collapse of Moopay (more commonly known as Moolah), which assumed control of the exchange this summer. Much of the stolen bitcoin was held in cold storage under the control of Green, according to the MintPal leadership.
In the past two weeks, numerous allegations tying Green to past fraudulent behavior have emerged. Green has denied engaging in unlawful behavior, but has admitted to changing his name from Ryan Kennedy to Alex Green.
CoinDesk spoke with Ferdous Bhai, a major shareholder and director of the holding company that owns MintPal.
Bhai has released a document detailing his and partner Mike Chu’s involvement with Green and their subsequent plans to recover customer funds. To this end, he said he is working with UK-based law firm Selachii LLP, the firm representing the syscoin developers in their legal fight against the former Moolah chief.
Bhai said that the team is focused on both bringing legal action against Green in the UK and, in the long-term, providing restitution to users who lost bitcoin following the closure of MintPal. ...
