6241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: November 29, 2017, 10:23:06 AM
Because bitcoin does not require an intermediary like fiat, it can run itself on blockchain. The sender and receiver are the full holder of the bitcoin, plus the bitcoin security level is very strong.

That is perfect. With Bitcoin, we are totally free and on our own. With fiat, we are actually under the rules and regulations of the central bank and other banks and the government. Bitcoin is giving us a certain level of freedom. In terms of security though there are still risks as hacking is a very strong threat for now. But let us just practice high level of caution in our transactions as well as in sharing some wallet info.
Because bitcoin is so much higher value than fiat, and interms of transaction bitcoin is much safe, secure and fast. Maybe why some people prefer to use bitcoin over fiat because it is reliable and growing.
Bitcoin is very transparent due to the public ledger that a transacting party can be considered as a contract.
People who likes transparency should choose bitcoin because you are in control of your money unlike banks when they can see your transaction
and might hold your money.
6242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: November 29, 2017, 10:19:08 AM
I have been seeing Bitcoins' price rising with a stability in its growth, but due to the higher mining fee that is being levied on transactions these days, big businesses are now moving their funds towards alts and taking advantage with their least fees as well as shaping a completely new economy in the trends of altcoin markets. Do you think this may harm Bitcoin's dignity and open up a chance in real for alts to rise?
I dont think alts can be a rival in value to bitcoin. They may have the potential rising in value but i dont think it can defeat bitcoin’s value. Bitcoin has gone too far already to be reached by other altcoins.

Yeah i agree.
But it depends on what you look at. Value per coin might not be surpassed.
But in terms of stability, transactiosn speed, anonymity there are other players at hand Smiley
Ethereum has a good chance to compete with bitcoin but it will not replace it because simply it cannot replace it.
Bitcoin supporters are very big, it was recognize as the father of all coins so when a certain altcoins will be popular, bitcoin popularity will also increase.
6243  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: November 29, 2017, 10:08:58 AM
I think if bitcoin is stable then bitcoin fans will soon switch to another coin. we know for ourselves the number of bitcoin enthusiasts due to the fluctuating bitcoin price as we see now the price is always up and down but we note that although bitcoin prices are rising but the increase is very high rather than falling prices so it becomes the most important bitcoin excess in the appeal of other coins that gives big advantage to investors.
It purely depends upon the situation, because what if the bitcoin fixed price is already high? and still all investors and users are keep patronizing the bitcoin
then therefore bitcoin was still popular crypto currency. As for me the price stability of bitcoin in high level is a good sign so there is nothing to worry for its popularity.

Stability is not the nature of bitcoin, the price is volatile because people love to move the price so they can make money predicting it.
Bitcoin is currently on an uptrend situation now but expect there is will some downtrend soon and that is the time where we need to buy to get a cheap price.
6244  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 29, 2017, 10:03:31 AM
The price does matter because that is the representation of its value, if the price is high that simply mean that the value is high. I believe that bitcoins will become more valuable in the near future that is why I am slowly saving a little of it in my wallet.
That's entirely true, the more bitcoin price will increase, the more it will become valuable to us.
People will invest because of the significant price increase and they are also hoping it can give them a good amount of profit when they ride with bitcoin.
6245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Bitclave - Decentralized Search ★ November 29 ICO ★ on: November 29, 2017, 09:52:45 AM
Finally, Hope there won't be more postponement... Waiting and watching for long.

yeah no more postponed, less than 8 hours bitclave ico will start you can check on the website https://www.bitclave.com/en/
Of course, it's time to celebrate now knowing 2 hours from now the ICO will be over.
I have receive a message from the site support that the hard cap is 25 million so we need only more or less $3 million before it will be sold out.
6246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀📈[ANN-ICO]ATLANT Real Estate Platform| 📈🚀🌟🌟 on: November 29, 2017, 09:42:57 AM
Everybody worried about the ATL price?!?!?! You must be fuckin kiddin me. The daily volume on HitBTC, Yobit and EtherDelta is only $7,500! Less than 1BTC!

It's not the real price. Real price discovery will come after a significant volume is traded. To all the whiners, it was obvious that they did not count stakes for many of the campaigns and are just starting to do it now. Let them do their thing.
Depending on the project actually, because if you take for example PPT, it has a good volume in Etherdelta but I am sure more when it will be
traded in big exchanges like Binance. Listing in bittrex nowadays is like an impossible mission, maybe let's take this opportunity to push through to Binance
while they are still adding coins.

yes, you are right. actually even if the high volume tokens are having a hard time to be listed on bittrex. and lately, bittrex are no longer listing new coins. i wonder why. not like early this year, they are very quick in listing those newly finished icos.
AFAIK, this is due to the a complicated regulation, those who like to be listed needs to pass all the requirement before getting listed in bittrex.
As you can seen in their site, they are  Based and fully regulated in the USA.
6247  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: November 29, 2017, 04:34:17 AM
very first you need to monitor the market scenario whether or not his will continue to rise or the cost of btc will decrease, but to not stop wasting time to think the issue is thrown in to the market, generally there are certain parties who deliberately cause stress so they get btc with cheap cost.d
You will not feel the stress if you know what is happening with the market, people will dump when there is a panic but that is because
they  lack education, they do not have the patience to wait for the price to go up so they dump.
Never follow them, let's buy more when there is a dump because that way you can buy a cheap bitcoins.
6248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: November 29, 2017, 04:28:09 AM
I think the bank will never disappear. They will add more and more pleasure to satisfy as much as possible the interests of people and themselves as it may happen. So can change the name in the future or the other, but still its function - make money for the wishes of others
The population is growing and we want different options so bank will stay, they are the most powerful in the finance industry
so why would we think they will be replace with bitcoin. That is not gonna happen even with the performance of bitcoin now because the users of the
banking industry are so big as they trust the centralization.
6249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ☑ [ANN] ☰ [ ICO 06|04|2017 ] ☰ Humaniq — Discover the unbanked on: November 29, 2017, 04:23:17 AM
What's wrong with Humaniq on Liqui.io?
Can't see HMQ markets listed anymore there: seems like it  has been delisted without even a notice from Liqui nor from Humoniq team.
Any technical issue maybe?

https://twitter.com/Liqui_Exchange/status/929311953318744064

It has been delisted few days while it's active on Bittrex which is really big exchange than why you need this on Liqui.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/humaniq/#markets
It's better to see it in bittrex because the volume has really increase.
Now, traders are only focusing in doing their thing in Bittrex and I hope we will be back on a good price soon.
For now, nothing special with the price despite the continues update of the team.
6250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Bitclave - Decentralized Search ★ November 29 ICO ★ on: November 29, 2017, 03:30:38 AM
If I understand correctly, the Bitclave team has plans to collect the remaining $ 3.5 million on November 29, thus the hard cap will be reached.
there is only 3.5million for sell?
Bitclave has gained much attention here. I am sure the long waited ICO will finish in minutes.

agreed with you ,3.5million  is really easy to reach , i worry about i will miss the crowd-sale when it start
You guys are misunderstanding here. BitClave raised $22m/$25.5m during the presale. In the ICO however, they are hoping to raise $25.5M more.
Why is it this is the one https://www.bitclave.com/en/ that is showing in their website?
It's 25547000 USD which is the max I guess but they have collected close to that amount already.
6251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EON] EXSCUDO - ICO successfully finished! on: November 29, 2017, 03:06:56 AM
With this wonderful review, I'm beginning to get excited in receiving my EONs, I have to believe that waiting gives benefits to us
because bounty hunters were not able to dump their EONs early when the platform is not yet ready.
6252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Suretly - first crowdvouching platform ★ ICO is over ★ on: November 29, 2017, 02:53:31 AM
first I see the explanation in the thread project i look at many items as bounty campaign, and also see the distribution of funds for each bounty item followed, but I do not see the allocation of funds for bounty campaign
The bounty was low AFAIK and only few who participated in the bounty campaign so there is nothing to worry because they have dump already
and the bounty was over a long time ago. Now, is the time for them to develop their project and we investors are looking for a good price to sell.
6253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BBT] BitBoost - The Block - Decentralized Ecommerce on Ethereum Blockchain on: November 28, 2017, 11:43:49 PM
Tomorrow we'll be at the #Blockchain Summit in #London!

https://twitter.com/bitboosters/status/935075752726237184
Nice, would be happy if they will also post some pictures or videos during the summit.
Time to promote BTT in this big summit, I hope the price will be affected and more people will buy, I notice there are already big buy orders in Etherdelta which I believe a good thing and bounty dump might already over.
I agree with you, by attending blockchain summit in London this is the best opportunity to promote bitboost, so people in that summit will know about this project
I hope somehow we can see some price action today, it's boring to see the price not moving on the right direction.
The price I guess was $0.40 per BTT but now it's only $0.124751 per https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitboost/.
$0.086435 (-33.12%)
Don't worry with that cheap price, it's not real because if you notice the volume it's less than 1 btc so wait until the volume rise
and then you can check the correct price. This people who are selling has no idea how worthy this project when it's fully develop.
6254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Bitclave - Decentralized Search ★ November 29 ICO ★ on: November 28, 2017, 11:19:05 AM
Great project and this might be easily sold out as they have already raised a good amount during the ICO.
Correct me if I'm wrong but based on the information I get in the telegram, the Hard cap is 25 million dollars.

Indeed, we are about to reach the hard cap 22m out of 25,547,000

congratulation,it's near hardcap right now , will the crowd-sale go on or will ended now?

You guys are misunderstanding here. BitClave raised $22m/$25.5m during the presale. In the ICO however, they are hoping to raise $25.5m more.
So the hard cap is not 25 million dollars but 50 million dollars? Please can someone make a clarification on this?
The ICO is near and I am hoping we will surpass the success that we have during the pre ico.

6257  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: November 28, 2017, 05:51:03 AM
I would rather invest my money than just keep it
the reason is none other than the more profit I get when I invest the money
Of course, that is the best way to grow your money especially if you are good in investing, however not all people are risk takers, some
just rely on their salary and they do not want to try investing, we are lucky that we are gifted with this minds to be a risk taker and we are a big dreamer.
6258  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: November 28, 2017, 05:37:15 AM
I think its impossible cause if  governments let bitcoin replace $$$, then they have no further control over money and over spending money!
They will not let it happen ever! Dollar will be the currency and bitcoin will stay as alternative currency. And they add each other very nicely.

As long as they are they are in power they will never gonna allow for bitcoin to replace dollars.
They have been using their own to ensure they will control and monitor the transactions and of course to collect the right amount of taxes.
6259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: November 28, 2017, 05:29:33 AM
I believe it's the opposite. Bitcoincash may be the gold coin that's really lifeless y now fter tcgold appeared. People are again hyping an additional bitcoin fake so bcc is actually from the scene. All of these btc replicates doesn't remain a chance using the unique and they're just likely to die quickly and get delisted.abb
I think they will not gonna be strong as bitcoin but right now we have to acknowledge their success especially bitcoin cash.
I have invested only in bitcoin and other altcoins except bitcoin's fork so my confidence are on the coins I have invested.
6260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Bitclave - Decentralized Search ★ November 29 ICO ★ on: November 28, 2017, 05:16:34 AM
I've done quite well for myself on the few ICOs I participated in. Like all of you, hopefully I get in on some BitClave or at least early when it hits the exchanges since it looks like there's a lot of people interested in it.
I have a big feeling we will hit in big exchanges because this is a big project and we have already collected a good amount of investment.
Right after the ICO, we will know what are the plans of the team and I am sure they will prioritize the listing of BitClave in big exchanges.
