6241  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Zuckerberg's second privacy face off | Politics? We need blockchain-based SM. on: October 26, 2019, 02:47:20 PM
Earlier today, Facebook CEO -Mark Zuckerberg had another face off section with the US senate over the Libra project https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-50152062. Quite tough indeed. I am quite sure the young dude had several rehearsals brainstorming what might possibly come out from the congress woman, Lol. But he did well after all.

Arguments in every of my groups today as some said it is absolutely a political propaganda and some relating it backward as facebook played a huge part negatively in the past US presidential election. That you can as well get more information from #TheGreatHack by Netflix. The senate is of the emphasis that Libra would stage to harbour financial crime and unscrupulous behavior from the users. Follow link to see full gist.
 https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-50152062

I am forced to think of blockchain technology as a solution to this mess faced by the young billionaire. VID as an example is a video centric social media that uses blockchain technology and protocol to avoid such issues as Mark's. Using ZERO KNOWLEDGE PROTOCOL is one thing that makes it unique. See more info https://vid.camera.

I am yet to agree that US is trying to tame Mark Zuckerberg. I think it is normal trying to defend in the interest of the world.

Libra is an attempt at total control of the population using Facebook.

FB should be broken up, not expanded. Far better, to not even allow it.

Crypto currency should be open and "owned" by no one. Not Google, not Apple, not Facebook. A money system should be available to all, and without any governing body.

But unfortunately one of the coins that are very much centralized like Ripple is very much on top of their games, I hope the congress that investigates Libra Coin is very much well informed about Cryptocurrency and blockchain, Libra Coin is a big opposite on what we want to accomplish here in the community, this is the reason we aren't supportive of this cause.
It's better that they invite people who are experts on blockchain and prominent people here, so they will see the two sides of the coin, or a different perspective on what libra Coin is trying to accomplish.
6242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the discipline help in gambling? on: October 26, 2019, 02:06:16 PM
Discipline in gambling takes time, it is not something you impose to yourself and overnight you can discipline yourself, I have seen people who are very discipline in some areas of their lives but failed miserably when it comes to gambling.
You can cultivate discipline when you are gambling with an experienced and highly discipline gambler, from there you can see how he managed to control his emotion and the ability to stop when the time to stop comes, it's not recommended to gamble alone, you will end up losing your control.
6243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your most common superstitions? on: October 26, 2019, 12:28:03 PM
Perfume has something to do with your emotion whenever you are gambling, it's my superstitions that I should put a strong scent whenever I gamble, sometimes it's right sometimes it's not, but when the average of winning to losing is much higher you can attributed it to what you are doing that brings you luck and so in my case it's putting perfume, and besides I feel good with my perfume even if I lost a roll.

Anthony Joshua sparring fast German Albon Pervizaj as he attempts to replicate Andy Ruiz Jr’s hand speed
The 24-year-old German (12-0, 9 KOs) has clearly been brought in as an attempt to replicate Ruiz Jr’s fast hands, as he is a rare heavyweight who can match the Mexican-American’s speed.

https://talksport.com/sport/boxing/619780/boxing-news-anthony-joshua-sparring-speedy-andy-ruiz-jr/

This is what trainers do, they try to get one who can imitate and replicate their fighter's opponents, great boxers must know how to adjust his fighting style to have an advantage over his opponents, but of course, these are not Ruiz, the punching power varies from boxers to boxers, Joshua is lucky if he can have one sparring partner who can be better than Ruiz and he makes a full adjustment right away, but while Joshua is preparing, Ruiz is also preparing and adjusting to Joshua fighting style by sparring boxers with similar built.

I reflected upon this statements so many times since i discovered Bitcoin long time ago.

Today I had an idea: I don't have time sounds to me like someone who knows that he doesn't have time. I mean someone who knew his life was going to end soon. Maybe he had cancer and he was going towards a sure death in few time.

I thought about this for the first time today and I have such a realistic feeling about this..I can't explain .

I don't think that was the context of those words, he clearly says that he will be on another interest or something like that, it was not that he is going to die, there's nowhere in his words that makes us aware that he is suffering from something, wherever he is it's his own decision to go away but I will never believe that because he is going to die from illness, but everything is possible, who knows.
6246  Other / Meta / Re: Can FunCAPTCHA be used instead of ReCAPTCHA at BitcoinTalk? on: October 25, 2019, 05:05:59 PM
There's a better solution: Captcha bypass code.
Just bookmark the link it gives.

Every time I have an unstable connection this one saves me and sometimes recaptcha is giving an error, this is a saver for all of us, people should have one kept in case, but be sure to change it from time to time because of the warning Bitcointalk has given.
6247  Other / Off-topic / Re: BEWARE of Telegram Group Member adding services on: October 25, 2019, 04:28:21 AM

Just adding this to make sure that this post belongs to service section: If you need to advertise your project or group on telegram, we can send custom private messages. We can send your custom message to millions on telegram and we charge 1.2 btc for 1 million messages. We can target users as you want. For example, if you want crypto member, we get user ids from binance, okex groups etc. We can target any field.

I would like to ask are these people who will receive a private message are opted to receive your private message, we all know that too many scammers are roaming around sending private messages, I immediately block those who send private messages to me coming from unknown source spacially if it is something related to investing in something
6248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF]Part 2 on: October 24, 2019, 05:48:07 PM
What If,... you're currently playing and suddenly you run out of funds and on the next draw you missed the game which you are about to win the Jackpot.
What would you feel and do about it? Will you stop playing because of that miserable scenario?
And if that happens in real life, you won the Jackpot by your lucky numbers and suddenly you misplaced the ticket, that's a BIG LOSS already don't you think?

-Let's see how'd you feel down about missing a BIG THING in just a blink of an eye.

These are two very unfortunate events, I experienced the first one, I'm only short of one roll to win the jackpot I'm playing the martingale, this is the worst experienced that can happen to you when playing martingale,.
And on second scenario, I think I will go carry thinking about that, it's just killing the goose that lays a golden egg and it will take a long time to forget that.
6249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't survive alone on: October 24, 2019, 05:04:24 PM
Over 850 millions of people use alipay as means of payment mostly in china and i heard lots about wepay as well, i come to think of it that what if bitcoin was been used in their places instead? if alipay and wepay can get to where they are today then altcoins have all the chances of survival as well. Wepay and Alipay are just online payment solution, crypto can do better.

Real use cases plus real life working products, let these two be your main focus when picking altcoins to invest your money on, do not listen to those saying 'dump altcoins for bitcoin' when you are holding solid altcoins

I also believe that there are some altcoins worth to be adopted, and worth to be used together with Bitcoin, people want options in all the things they do and we have a very huge market to cover, but not thousands of coins in the market, I figure that 50 to 100 coins are just enough in fact already too many, and this is the reason are competing with speed scalability and fees, because payment processor will soon be replaced by Cryptocurrency.
6250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ELECTRONEUM IS WAKING UP on: October 24, 2019, 04:04:50 PM
I'm disappointed on Electroneum, it creates a big hype when it was launched, there's even a lot of videos on Youtube shilling this coin that it will reach $5 in just a year, but never happen, this coin is now in limbo, I don't know if it still deserves to be included in your portfolio, but since it is on top exchanges it still has the chance, we just hope those exchanges will not delist Electroneum.
6251  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I think I've made a terrible mistake!! :( on: October 24, 2019, 02:54:11 PM
Thanks GSpgh, glad to know it's OK to spend unconfirmed coins and that the 2nd transaction will eventually be confirmed. Maybe it's for the best - the price is rising slightly while I am waiting Smiley

If it takes some time to confirm you can ask for help to people who can accelerate your transaction, I have a friend in telegram that I ask for acceleration for free, go to the service section to find one. the longest I've had was 24 hours.
6252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: October 24, 2019, 02:38:01 PM
You'll only know it if there are scam report or you have been scammed, but these scam gambling sites, have one thing in common they offer a very high sign up and deposit bonus, and they just launch without doing promotion, they instead targeted gamblers who want to try new gambling site, these gambling sites are fly by night gambling site, and we have so many reports about this in scam section.
6253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are People Losing Interest with Bitcoin? on: October 24, 2019, 01:57:30 PM

There seems to be a trend not yet recognized by many experts and that is the withering interest of the people on Bitcoin, especially if we compare today with the days of 2017 and early months of 2018. Of course, we could not expect that people will always like, search and talk about Bitcoin for years. There will always be a plateau and a possible downtrend, sometime somehow.

Is this something we have to accept or should we do something about this?

You've already said it There will always be a plateau and a possible downtrend, this applies to everything, but that does not mean the interest is over, the interest is still there,  some areas will have a high interest in Cryptocurrency and some will have a downtrend, but in general there will always interest in Bitcoin because people have staked a lot of things in Cryptocurrency and many developers have transferred their skills here.
6254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's worse: cigar addiction or gambling addiction on: October 24, 2019, 01:01:27 PM
Cigar addiction is worse because it leads you to a lot of debilitating diseases, you can cure gambling addiction but on cigar addiction, there will always residue that's going to be left, in your body, a ten-year gambling addict has a chance to survive than a ten-year smoker.
cigar addiction is killing you slowly mentally and physically, on gambling, you will become poor but you still have good health.
6255  Other / Off-topic / Re: How Secure are Password Managers? Here’s What to Keep in Mind on: October 24, 2019, 12:30:54 PM
I will not mention a name I do have a friend who's been using a password manager and ask him if it is safe he told me it's 100% safe, because in case the hacker hacked the master password and try to login using the master password, the password manager will need an approval from the email to approve the login from a different IP, password manager is not yet very popular but they are proven to be strong protection.
6256  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My Introduction to bitcointalk on: October 23, 2019, 05:26:51 PM
Hello Bitcointalk Newbies & Experts.

I'm Sanoj Perera from Sri Lanka. I'm new to the Crptocurrency technology and I would like to have you guys support & guidance to be a Workable person in this field. So I hope you guys help me out. If there is any new Bounties, Airdrops, any any other way to get coins & tokens just let me know and I will be really thankful to you.

If you are new to Cryptocurrency, you should not look for airdrop or bounty to join, but rather you should fully understand how Cryptocurrency works and how to protect yourself from hacking and securing your wallet and private keys, you should study how everything began, and not look for new bounty or airdrops right away, there is no easy path and free money here now, you'll find this out later as go you along.
6257  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to lose your Bitcoins with CTRL-C CTRL-V on: October 23, 2019, 04:10:31 PM
I've read an article on this just last year and a lot of discussions have been created about this malware, and still going on right now because there are new investors coming in and newbies do not know the existence of this malware.
The only way to combat this is awareness and education if you are going to invite people to invest, it's part of recruiting that you educate them and inform then about the existence of these kinds of malware, and precautions to take when sending and trading.
6258  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Airdrop or Bounty on: October 23, 2019, 03:09:06 PM
I always wanted to dive into the world of prize hunters but my knowledge of gifts is not enough to enter the bitcointalk contest or do I have to play Airdrop? Because airdrop tasks are easier than gifts? please tell me friend

If you have the time you can do both, but there's no guaranty which between the two can give you the most profit, but I'd like to remind you of the long wait, airdrops, and bounty take two months to a year to see if the project you've worked with has potential, I've participated in so many airdrops and bounty campaign that I've forgotten the name and sometimes I'm just surprised that some coins are coming  without remembering when I promoted it, because I don't keep a list of my campaigns.

Be prepared !!!  It 's going to break the record of the most comments

Nothing excites me more, been there seen that I just wait to see things unfold because things are going to happen at the right time, we are just right on time, ten years and so many things have happened and more coming as we go on daily, nothing to tell others, the course is moving, we just have to support what's going to happen daily, best thing to do now just supports Bitcoin and  altcoins that deserved their place in the market.
6260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If You Died Tomorrow, What Would Happen To Your Crypto? on: October 23, 2019, 01:05:57 PM
Safehaven service or similar service is right in targetting this industry, imagine there are millions of people investing in Cryptocurrency and majority of them had a portfolio consists of coins that will have chance in the market in the future, maybe not now, but imagine if these coins are lost because the holders did not know how to properly give this to his loved ones, when his time has come, so there should be a company or companies that should manage this for the family of the holders.
