That's not arbitrage. Arbitrage is supposed to be risk free. Easy to say that you are getting higher returns if you say you do arbitrage but in reality you are just speculating / day trading. It's not arbitrage if a price movement before you close your position affects the profit. edit: Risk free is strong word there. Clarity: Arbitrage should not be exposed to price movements. Of course there are other risks like credit risk of the exchange etc. No true, there is always risk in trading. Also, by definition, crypto arbitrage is taking advantage of price difference between coins on different or the same exchange. |

There are always these kind of opportunities. People who say it is not possible are just to lazy to follow the market closely. I ve mentioned DRK, for about a week, Darkcoin was fluctuation +/-5% per day on a SINGLE exchange. All I needed to do was to purchase in the morning at -5% and sell in the evening at +5%. Similar case was with Kittehcoin about a month ago, the price was constantly hovering between 0.00000001 and 0.00000002 BTC. I was buying at lower price and selling at higher price, was able to do this 6 times and make 600%. Arbitrage is there and it is possible, just takes a lot of effort to make money by playing it.

Only way to make money in Bitcoin in the short term is by trading it. Mining is not profitable and neither is buying 1 BTC and hoping and praying to the Gods that it goes to $100,000 one day.

I am not asking anyone to teach me the exact method, I am interested in general strategies how people do arbitrage. I have been in Bitcoin for a couple of years, been investing into arbitrage, securities, cloud mining and mine by myself. In other words, I could probably share some of interesting strategies with most of people here and this is what I ll do. Recently, I have been quite successful in playing with Darkcoin, the price moves +/-5% almost every day for the last couple weeks. Basically, the easiest arbitrage opportunity there is. There is already investment program, take a look at my signature. They have been online for about 8 months and everything works great. HOWEVER, make sure you do your research before investing, I cant be responsible for your investments. I have been with them for over 3 months, 4 weeks until I reach full ROI, I do not compound, withdraw every day. This means 2 FULL investment cycles, everyone who invested in the first 4 months will be reaching ROI and counting. It is some strange Ponzi scheme which lets people reach full return on their investments, I thought this type of schemes usually get closed down in 3 months and run away with your money, yet they are still here and still paying.
I really doubt you're as clueless as you appear. A ponzi which pays as little as BT can frequently last more than a year. The whole point of paying is to appear legit and attract more victims. As long lucky ones who got in first is successful in their eager work to attract enough new victims it is profitable to continue paying. I do not play ponzies, have no investments in any other similar website so do not assume things about me just because you might live in that world. That being said, I really do not understand this argumentation which last for weeks. I have my own opinion, I have invested my own money into this, willing to take the risk. Regarding other people, I have clearly stated both in my first post and several other posts in this thread that this is risky investment as it is anything else related to BTC. Need examples? OK, Mt.Gox, BTCe, Butterfly labs, HashFast, Vircurex, etc, etc. Damn, even BTC can completely implode tomorrow and we all can be left without our money. So, once more, DO NOT INVEST if you have any doubts about this or any similar investment. Just go and put your money in the bank and earn that way. You need another statement from my side? OK, here is it once more, if you think this is fishy, if this looks like a scam, PONZI or anything similar, do not invest into Bitcoin trader or any similar website, service and investment opportunity.
