6261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: are bounty and signature campaigns successful? on: October 28, 2017, 12:47:04 PM
I think they are very very successful. I always follow signatures all around forums. For example I first heard about deeponion by lot of signatures around here. And given coins are nothing compared to promotion vale.

the succes of the project is mostly depends on their project  and the promotion is just 20% of it. but i agree also that signature campaigns/bounty campaigns has a great impact for them to get traffic and attention. overall both factors has thier own importance and they must posses these core values in order to succed in the future.
6262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What to buy when the BTC falls? on: October 28, 2017, 10:43:53 AM
After falling BTC we can buy eth. Like we can compare with my space and Facebook,
after falling myspace,  facebook is more than popular and still, it's popular
so after falling BTC we can buy eth

nice comparison you got there but myspace has nothing to do with facebook , id say friendster vs. facebook is more comparable to each other but back on the op's topic, i think the best coin to buy when bitcoin falls is still bitcoin, because we can earn much profit on bitcoin in a quicker way compared to altcoins that dont move much and it would take many months or years for them to pump and earn a decent profit unlike to bitcoin which value can go up easily.
6263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the transaction price of bitcoin so high? on: October 28, 2017, 12:18:08 AM
I do not know exactly how bitcoin transactions are. but it seems that the cost compared to the last few years is increasing. maybe this is one of the strategies for the miners to get a little profit, and maybe this is like the business done. This I ever get in some countries if you want to send between countries are charged administrative costs.  Smiley Smiley

the cost of transaction fees is depends on the value of bitcoin , so if the value is high that means the transaction fees will also be expensive and if the bitcoins value is dropping then the fees are also low ( vice versa) and its not really a strategy of miners to get a little profit on your transactions, also this does not depends on the country you are living because the charge is always depends on the current value of bitcoins.
6264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin without China on: October 27, 2017, 12:16:26 PM

As of now, we dont need china anymore. Because the last time  I check the price of bitcoin its already reach 6000k. And that is happen without the help of china. Maybe cause there still a lot of investors who encourage to invest in the cryptocurrency. Especially people who came from Japan. That really help biycoin to gain its price again from fall down last weeknof september.

i dont totally agree with you,  we need china because china has a large country and mostly of them are business men or business minded thats why most bitcoin holders are from china and i believe bitcoin can still pump much if china will accept bitcoin  again although bitcoin is still strong and still going high without the help of others.
6265  Economy / Speculation / Re: I do not have the guts to buy bitcoins now. on: October 27, 2017, 03:40:25 AM
what are you talking about?if you dont have the Guts buying bitcoin now when would it be?if bitcoin comes 10000k usd?if you really want to invest in bitcoin community u should have do that now,not tomorrow not on the next years.but today

he said he dont have the guts to buy bitcoin because bitcoins value today is friggin high it was like 5000$+ , so literally he wont buy today, tommorow or on the next day rather i sugest to the op that he must wait if for the bitcoins value to go down low until 3000$ or lower because bitcoin is not totally stable and will always be fluctuate because of volatility. so i guess theres nothing to worry because we can stil be able to afford it sooner or later if we have a patience to wait.

6267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible? on: October 26, 2017, 11:10:52 AM
Can bitcoin be the world's currency?

I somehow believe that bitcoins will rule the world but I guess it won't torally be used worldwide since not all countries have access to good internet. Many third world countries suffer from these incoherent internet connection. Plus, fiat money is as powerful as bitcoins. Bitcoin will be the world's digital currency but I think not as a daily money.

bitcoin will rule the online world maybe but i think not on a real world because bitcoin is purely digital and will only work mostly in an online environment and without internet connection i dont think we can use it to buy stuff's offline not unless they can invent an offline version of the blockchain or if someone can invent a physical coin and embed the private keys and wallet address on it. but overall fiat money is still powerful and will never be replace by something digital.
6268  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: So how much privacy do we really need? on: October 26, 2017, 06:31:33 AM
The amount of privacy and/or anonymity someone needs much depends on where they live, and under which government and jurisdiction. Seeing multiple solutions next to Bitcoin brings the possibility of diversity and gives users choice to use what they need to be safe in their personal situation.

yeah i agree that it really depends in the persons activity , if hes doing illegal activities like buying drugs, carding, hacking and scamming people then he really needs some serious privacy or anonymity but if hes just an average joe that dont do monkey business then it doesnt really matter and i believe most of the people are not botherd about this issue.
6269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth participating in ICOs? on: October 26, 2017, 03:18:28 AM
I've noticed that the price of most tokens/coins after they get listed on exchanges is way lower than their price during the ICO. So I think it's not worth participating in an ICO anymore, just wait and buy your preferred token/coin when it is listed. You'll save a lot.

yes it always happen that their ico price will not be the same after the coin is released and listed on the market but  some find it worth joining on an ico because they can avail the coin/token in a cheaper price but then again they will just dump it to get profit although they have to wait for the coin to reach its peak so that they can recover their loss and earn profit at the same time.
6270  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: October 26, 2017, 02:40:55 AM
Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?

i think not really because bitcoin is recognized and known to its high value and volatility.  many people are joining in to the cryptoworld thinking that they can earn money on it and thats also the reason why bitcoin has gain a lot of popularity plus due to this forum that there are called signature campaign/bounty campaigns. so i guess it will greatly affect the users especially investors , if its value will be stable and less volatile.
6271  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: October 26, 2017, 12:31:22 AM

Actually there are lots of pump and dump groups out there which some people or newbie do tend to join up those groups because they do believe that they can able to make fast money since they can able to know if theres a pump or dump but actually they are just being used up by those people who are in the group specially the owner.

yes they are hundreds and thousands of them and some of them are not free and must require a membership access or premium access but i dont think they can totally predict what will happen on the markets rather they are just  greedy and  scam that wants to get benifit from the ones who buy thier fake account subscription. no one can predict what will happen on the future not unless they have  a time machine and can travel thru time.
6272  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: October 25, 2017, 03:17:47 PM
Well, people nowadays doesn't understanding the purpose of bitcoin. You're investing it not gambling. It's is called gambling when you use the bitcoin to gamble. Since you are investing money and time in bitcoin it depends on what you see if your gambling or not.

i think that investing is like gambling because there is also a risk to loose but then again it also depends on how you use or spend your bitcoins although some are investing and using thier hard earned cash straight from their pockets to purchase bitcoin  but some are only earning it on some jobs like signature campaign/bounty campaign and other forms of jobs that pays in bitcoin.
6273  Other / Archival / Re: Suggestions on: October 25, 2017, 01:59:36 PM
Simple Suggestions to Reduce Spam

1) verified email : i see you can use Bitcoin without verify email So if only verified emails can use this site .

2) Block unknown emails  : only allow google.com / yahoo.com ,.... and other known emails .

3) 1 account per IP / daily  : only allow one account per IP Daily other banned.

4) Deleted posts increase delay time  : when your post deleted your seconds between post actions increase.

Who agree ??

i agree with #1 and #2 , because i also see that its easy for anyone to create an account on this forum because they can instantly sign up with any email address without the need of verifying it  , but #3 and #4 seems too much.
6274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Signature Campaigns on: October 25, 2017, 10:28:53 AM
Any signature campaigns that actually pay in prominent altcoins like Litecoin, Eth, Dash or similar top alts that are high on market cap?

its pretty rare to see campaigns that pays prominent altcoins like the ones you mentioned but its not new to see a signature campaign that pays in bitcoin although most us including me are  still prefer bitcoins rather than altcoins in terms of value and profitability. yet you can still get that coins in a faucet which is not verry rare to find and most of them can be found on google but the downside is you can only get small amounts in a faucet not unlesss you have an army of followers.

6277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 kinds of ICOs — Protect yourself on: October 18, 2017, 10:04:15 PM
some Ico's are without a doubt jaw dropping. for me scam Ico's are obvious you can easily see that through the whitepaper and the developers resume.

i think no, ive came across recently to some ico that seem verry promising and legit but still turned out to be scam when the ico is about to end and we dont have heard about any news about their project until now. so i guess  its really hard to spot a really legit ico nowadays compared to last  years , maybe this is also due to the competion because i see there were many new ico's and airdrop happening lately.
6278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: October 18, 2017, 10:51:57 AM
Yes and that's why is called cryptocurrency. It offers more cash than what you get in dollars. No doubt that is at the top of all the currencies in the world right now and it just replace US dollars. To me, it's so precious that Ican treat btc more than just a money.
It's the best crypto currency but it won't replace dollar, they are not in competition because we need fiat to own bitcoin and we need to convert
bitcoin to fiat to spend our money in this world. Let's be more realistic here, bitcoin looks good but it has a limitation.

yeah ,  i totally agree with this. i dont think bitcoin could replace the dollar or the fiat money even if bitcoins values is high enough its because bitcoin is restricted or banned in most countries including russia , china , india and some of the largest part in asia thats why its imposible for bitcoin to be used or replace the fiat money because there were more conflicts and debates that is not yet resolve to it.
6279  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: October 18, 2017, 08:49:05 AM
I currently have 2mil usd for investment.

I wanna invest it on bitcoin. Where can I invest it?

Please give me all the alternatives

thanks!

also, please look at my first post I plan to build a mining farm: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1764338.msg17619998#msg17619998

thats good if you planning to build a mining farm if you can  affrod it and  i see you have a good amount of capital there but if you need another option or alternatives then i would suggest invest on bitcoins because it is far the most popular investing unit and the favorite tool by trader or a casual person who wants to earn good income overtime. also you can go on some altcoins like etherium and try some promising ico's because i see some people are making good profits joining early on a legit and solid ico.
6280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn free coins?? on: October 18, 2017, 04:53:18 AM
Hi,

I want to know where can I earn free coins, for promoting that specific coin. For eg one ICO I saw said that they will pay 15 tokens for every unique visit on their link. Something like bounties.
Anyone know such coins that give free coins for helping them promote?

Also how does signatures work here? I heard we can get tokens for wearing sigs and profile pictures too.

Thanks guys

thats called a signature campaign  you can check out marketplace > services section  there were many signature campaigns there that you can apply  and you can also check out altcoin> bounty section if you want another coins as payment besides bitcoin and lastly you can join airdrops to get free token without doing an effort but most of the airdrops are just shitcoin and shit token so i guess its not worth the time either.
