6261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest $500 in Altcoins on: January 02, 2018, 11:55:58 AM
Investing $500 in altcoins is not a big deal, but before that you make sure of things Time period and quantity. First of all plan whether you are expecting a short-term income for your monthly expenses or whether you are expecting a long-term income as savings or future purposes. Either you can invest small amount and expect big returns or either you can invest big amount and expect a small returns.

According to me some best coins are Neo and Ethereum as they are having some good potential for investing.Apart from these two coins i also like to add IOTA, Zcash, LTC and Monero as these are trending upside with good Momentum and volatility and they are expected to continue the process for coming years as they are undervalued at higher prices.
6262  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you still Trading, Investing in this Chrismas and New Year Time..? on: December 29, 2017, 05:04:34 PM
Hi Guys
From one week ago, i saw the marketcap is decrease..So i would like to know your opinion that you are still trading or investing crypto currency in this time (Christmas time, new year time)...or you will withdraw cryto currency to usd and come back in Jan 2018.

Thanks so much

Actually, i don't think it is the right time to invest now on Christmas and new year time because all the people will be selling their most of the stocks and coins which they would have bought previously in order to celebrate the festival and for buying the gifts just I did this Christmas. In fact, the decrease in the marketplace also tells us the same thing that the deeper correction which has occurred right now in the crypto market is due to Christmas holiday and new year festival. People and even professional traders used to take some time of break from trading during the Christmas and new year function in order to Enjoy and get rid off the Mental stress of trading and in fact, the break is needed for everyone.
6263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's a reasonable amount you can make per month trading Crypto long term? on: December 29, 2017, 04:57:43 PM
I've recently started to get serious in the crypto world and I'm absolutely fascinated with everything, the tech, the ideas, the price volatility and the overall buzz. I've 2x my initial investment already (BTC wise) in 18 days using what I presume is a very aggressive money management strategy and was wondering what is a reasonable ROI long term for your overall portfolio per month? If you started with £/$1,000 and doubled it every month then you'll be a millionaire this time next year. Crypto is getting more and more new investors and should continue to do so, we know that. Is 100% roi every 4 weeks outlandish if you're day trading full time or was this too small of a sample size?

It all depends on the one's psychology and one's trading expectation because some people might be expecting a part-time income and some might be expecting a full-time income. And if you are expecting a good full-time income then you should be the best in trading with some best strategy and money management techniques put together at work. Initially i have gained almost 4x returns within 6months just by investing in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero and few other altcoins but i kept on holding the coins till there is a strong trend and momentum running over the chart and i just added few more quantities if there was a deeper correction and by this way i just averaged them on bottom for cost reduction purposes.
6264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coins and masternode invest in 2018 ? on: December 28, 2017, 06:11:06 PM
Hello world, what to buy in 2018?

I think of BTC - BCH - DASH - XMR - NGC

XCXT (masternode) - VIOG (masternode)

and you what is your advice ?

Buying in 2018 will be easier than 2017 as the demand and volatility conditions have really changed from the past year. And your list of trading coins is really good one to go with. Like BTC it is one of the most volatile coins and it is having super demand and expected to rock in 2018, next BCH even it is good but here the ratio of manipulation is higher and it's mostly a hype one. Then Dash is also a major coin with demand and volume of supply in the market and it has covered the big area of the market in short span of time. But Dash has already moved its path so you can replace Dash with Ripple or Ethereum or Litecoin. Even XMR & NGC are also doing good and you can continue to hold them.
6265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: RaiBlocks (XRB) is going to be a top 10 coin on: December 28, 2017, 05:49:09 PM
Yes, i agree with you, (XRB) Raiblocks is going to be a top coin in the coming years as I am expecting it to see it listed on many crypto exchanges. But right now there are issues regarding the desktop wallet one of my friends say that they are working on it. Actually, their team is really professional and they are doing their job clean and in a good manner and that's the reason it is under the list of top 50 and it is expected to be in top 10 by the end of the 2018 year. I also agree that technology wise it is one of the best cryptocurrency working with almost Lightening speed and they are stronger than centralized bank coin like Ripple as I have seen it personally.
6266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My coin list for 2018. I'm sure there will be a lot of growth. Do you agree? on: December 28, 2017, 05:35:36 PM
Everyone is really having the positive attitude towards the cryptomarket as the huge rise in bitcoin and other coins prices have resulted in some increase in people's confidence and the strong belief in themselves. I agree with your list of coins as they are having good potential and supported by the well researched team. Actually, all these coins are having strong fundamentals and technical wise all are running at their higher highs and higher lows trend mode and if you are entering long now then you will have enough time to hold your positions and book them once they are in good profit. Spectrecoin is sure to rock and even i am holding it, anyways best of luck for 2018.
6267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Bitcoin now is the same as stealing on: December 27, 2017, 05:44:05 PM
In this, an investor buys an asset (for example Bitcoin) purely on the speculation that the price will go up because someone else is willing to buy at a higher price (the new buyer is the greater fool).

This strategy can of course be profitable for an investor who buys for example at a dip and sells on the way up.

But, as anyone with half a brain knows, as this is purely a bubble it also means something else.

I don't agree with you mate, as everyone knows that some people obey and follow the bitcoin as investing product and some follow it as a bubble. Well,  i have no issues with buying the bitcoin on dips because I know the reason behind the buying and I plan the trades and buy according to my trade plan. Yes, there is some level of speculation going on here but doesn't mean it is really foolish to buy or it's a kind of foolish play. Then every trading market like Stock market, forex market and commodity markets are also fools play and people are stealing over there. Remember onething that if you are buying without knowledge or reason then everything you do prove's that you are a fool.
6268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About Bitcoin Bad Rumors on: December 27, 2017, 05:22:42 PM
Jim Rogers, a banker and another traditional investor, is calling Bitcoin a bubble. This is not new. But what keeps these people talking trash about Bitcoin? Definitely, these investors who own financial institutions, have their own agenda and are playing their cards.

In this article: http://dashplanet.blogspot.com/2017/11/whats-behind-about-bitcoin-bad-rumors.html, there's a good insight about the true reason why these people are spreading these rumors.

These Rumours are been sharing on the internet right from the past Many years and i have seen many people use to have negative views and rumours about the bitcoin and other altcoins. People and even many institutional guys do have that kind of Negative view some people say's that bitcoin is a big bubble while some say bitcoin is really a good investing platform, so you just concentrate on positive things and leave those hater's because everything depends on you and not on them. You need to be confident on bitcoin and your trading coins and if for any reason you don't have confidence on bitcoin and yourself then leave it don't over complicate the things around you.
6269  Other / Off-topic / Re: what wallet can you recommend? on: December 27, 2017, 05:03:28 PM
Hi there,

i'm quite unsure about where to save my btc and eth. personally as i travel a lot i will have difficulties using a hardware-wallet, so i was thinking of a kind of mobile version. is there anything you could recommend?

So you are a traveler with busy schedule and that's why you are requesting for Mobile version then you can go with wallets which are comfortable with android versions something like Mycelium and Electrum. Other than this I will recommend you to use Hardware wallets which are highly secured and easily portable with you anywhere you travel. Hardware wallet like Trezor, Keep Key and Ledger Nano s are some of the best Hardware wallets available right now and you can purchase them from Amazon at a very good price. I myself own a Trezor and Ledger Nano S and they are working superbly. I will not request you to go for exchange as they less secured than other options.
6270  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Are Faucets Useful Now? on: December 27, 2017, 04:38:12 PM
With the bitcoin value sky rocketing, have faucets become useful and worth the time spent now?
And not only bitcoin faucets but altcoin faucets too, I think with such high value of every coin in terms of dollars, faucets can no longer be considered as a wastage of time.
What do you think?

I don't agree with you, faucets are really useless in today rising crypto value. And also rise in the bitcoin prices and other altcoins prices have nothing to do with Faucets as the faucets are ruled and governed by the BOTS. Suppose you are spending here about half an hour then you will be earning nothing from here as the BOTS are programmed in such a way that you will be in the loss at the end no matter how much you earn in one stroke that profited amount will fade away for sure. I have also seen many Youtube video's explaining trick and techniques to win from the Faucet site but none of them worked till now and so It is better to avoid Faucets or you can go for gambling if you wish to earn some gifts based on your luck.
6271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My long term picks on: December 27, 2017, 10:54:26 AM
I'm looking for opinions on these coins:
- BMC
- POWR
- MOD
- SYS
- STRAT

I've already read whitepaper and have done some research by myself on MOD and POWR tokens. I even already invested in MOD for the long term, will probably invest into POWR but first I need to research STRAT, BMC and SYS to decide on my further steps.
Also I participated in BMC ICO and it's price dropped a half since then so it could be a great opportunity to buy.

Other than that what are your personal candidates for the long term?

Your list is quite looking good and you can carry them forward for longer-term holding. If you can see here BMC is doing good and it's still undervalued with demand and volume is increasing from past month.MOD, POWR, and STRAT are really the gems in altcoin section and even I am holding them in my long-term portfolio. I have no idea about SYS but yes if you want apart from this list you can also add Ethereum classic, Litecoin, Deep onion, Waves, Ripple, Monero, IOTA, ELIX and Unify as they are looking good to me and even me planning to add them for this quarterly holding as they are expected to rise from this month. Anyways do your own research too, I may be wrong.
6272  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trade on: December 26, 2017, 05:34:26 PM
Yes you guys said it right Bitcoin is really different from the share market, where the share market are been traded on the country's particular trading exchanges for given period of time whereas bitcoin is being traded for 24hrs on all the bitcoin exchanges at different price levels in different exchanges and this things open the doors of Arbitrage trading. Yes you said it right in india exchanges like Zebpay and Unocoin offers a huge price comparing to other international exchanges as there is no governing body to give them a unique bitcoin price all over the world. Today Zebay is offering bitcoin almost $1500 extra to coinbase exchange rate. So Indian Traders can make use of this opportunity if they want.
6273  Economy / Economics / Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility on: December 26, 2017, 05:19:16 PM
Nice to hear about your social responsibilities and about your kind nature towards the Humanity. But here at first most of the people come for earning money and then slowly as the money becomes secondary they move to some other goal. And i think for making them socially responsible, you just need to add some spark to them which I think this post is doing to a certain level. Yes even I don't consider myself wealthy and I don't want to be on the wealthy list where some kind of attitude arises in me and destroys the Human being in me. I always try to change the people and help the persons who are around me and connected with me for any reason and bitcoin has supported me in a great manner. This generation guys are really doing a tough job in helping each other and I will be supporting them wherever I can do.
6274  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss Trading on: December 26, 2017, 04:29:52 PM
Hey everyone.  Do any of you professional traders out there have advice on the best situations to use stop-loss in a trade?  It would be much appreciated.

ricseb

Would like to answer your question as technical analysis is one of my favourite topics which I love to discuss on this forum. So before placing stop loss in a trade first, you must know what is a stop loss and where it should be placed and what are the different types of stop losses which trader uses based on their necessity.

Stop loss is a point or a place where the trader's view about a particular trading product for time period gets Negated. Stop loss are three types
Confluence stop loss, Volatility stop loss, Time based stop loss. If your stop loss is based on particular swing points, support or resistance then it is called Confluence stop loss. If your stop is based on Volatility of trading products and if you are using indicators like Bollinger bands, ATR then it is called Volatility Stops. And if you are using a particular time period for stop loss no matter how price behaves then it is called Time Stops and it is mostly used in the Sideways market.
6275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Auto Learn Trading on: December 26, 2017, 03:27:36 PM
Technical Analysis is really a vast subject and if you are looking for learning then as you said, yes there is really an ocean of information is there on the internet and you have to pick the subject which you wish to learn and practise it for trading. It cannot be learned in short span of time or you cannot use any kind of bot or robot for it. It's a self challenging game and you have to practise and learn from yourself. If you are practising Swing trading then follow some rules and style which you like to do something like Trend Trading Strategies, Discretionary Method of trading, Algo trading, VSA method of trading etc. All are unique and good in themselves just remember that you just need practise on one thing by digging deeper and not broader.
6276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Turning $50,000 into 1M in 365 days- Buy and Hold possible? on: December 26, 2017, 03:10:56 PM
Your idea is really good and it is possible to make 1 million from the capital of around $50,000 in 365 days just by investing and holding it. Also saw the discussions and replies in the HR's thread and it was really inspiring. So let me come to the matter, if you are investing to get 20x returns in a year then make a portfolio with high investments in altcoins and average in Bitcoin and other major coins.

If you ask me then i would say that Invest 30% alone in Bitcoin and Ethereum and then 50% you equally invest in the Altcoins which are capable and have that kind of big potential to reach your expected returns in 365 days, something like Litecoin, IOTA, Monero, Ripple, BCH, Neo, Waves, etc. And then comes the remaining 20% which i request you to use for Cost averaging and Money Management Techniques if there is any kind of bad entries has been made or in case if you want to add quantities in them .
6277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why chose BITCOIN rather than other investments e.g. Stocks/shares on: December 26, 2017, 12:00:08 PM
Why chose bitcoin? Why not invest in shares/ stocks? Other investments?

Well this is really a interesting topic to be discussed here as you all know that apart from bitcoin there are many other investment options available like investment in Stock market, Real Estate sector, Investing in Commodities and also you can try forex trading too.But why are we choosing the bitcoin market for our investment and that is because this bitcoin is gaining popular for it's peer to peer transaction and because of which it has gotten good demand and that's the reason for it's increasing price and also here the bitcoin is decentralized and it has some high amount of volatile movements by which you can get some huge amount of returns within short span of time. Especially the ROI for investing is really good here.

6278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best books to read on: December 25, 2017, 05:54:38 PM
In this online world, you are requesting for books and that too not related to technicals. Then i would suggest you to go for books like,

1)  Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technologies: A Comprehensive Introduction -Book by Arvind Narayanan and Steven Goldfeder
2)  Mastering Bitcoin: Unlocking Digital Cryptocurrencies -Book by Andreas Antonopoulos
3)  Mastering Blockchain -Book by Imran Bashir
4)  The Book of Satoshi: The Collected Writings of Bitcoin Creator Satoshi Nakamoto -Book by Phil Champagne and Satoshi Nakamoto
5)  This one is my favorite -> Bitcoin Essentials -Book by Albert Szmigielski

Other than this I recommend you to Digg out the social media websites like Reddit, Quora, Facebook and Twitter where there is plenty of space Left out for cryptocurrency and blockchain topic. Especially Reddit is a must to research and learn from websites and this is the website, where I have got to know many things right from the scratch.
6279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn 30usd to 100 usd per day ! on: December 25, 2017, 05:30:50 PM
Dear all,
I am new and I want to know there is a possible way to earn 30 to 100 USD per day without capital or with a small amount of money?
Thank you so much

So you are searching for jobs or work that can earn you 100 USD per day and that too without capital, but I am sorry to say that this is not possible for now. In crypto market, you can either earn by mining which needs a high amount of investment, good knowledge and tons of practice on Mining and the next method to earn is by investing or trading which too needs little to high amount of capital to invest in the crypto coins and then earn profit when the invested coin prices rise by good margin. Even in this two methods, it takes tons of hard work and few years of mastery to come at this level of experience otherwise, there is no way you can earn 100$ USD per day.

You can try your luck in the signature campaigns and bounty campaigns, which are available in this forum.
6280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good time to buy Monero? on: December 25, 2017, 05:02:24 PM
I have invested in some of top 10 alts (except dash and BCH) and wondering if it is a good time to buy Monero?!
Your knowledge sharing is appreciated.

Let me tell you that you are planning to invest in top 10 altcoins and you have left one out of them which is Dash. Even dash is a good one to invest for long-term and trading for short term.Next coming to the main question about the Monero, and if you believe me technical wise Monero right now is standing on Good demand zone where you can start buying in small quantity and once it confirms the uptrend by breaking the 380-400 price barrier again then you can add some more quantity to it. By this way, you reduce your risk also and you are averaging your cost of buying too, which is really a good trading approach and it is highly profitable for the Long run.
