Bitcoin has become synonymous with impotence government agencies and other regulators, for the first time in many years they were not able to stop any payments to other countries or to control the movement of capital.

"they"... Cool

6290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: $TRA Tetra - Silver Backed Digital Currency (Nuclearcoin Takeover) on: June 26, 2016, 05:18:04 PM

Tetra began through a team who formed planning to take over Nuclearcoin, which was abandoned by its developer in its early stages.
We wanted to take over the coin but we also wanted to create a worthwhile project – not just simply a pump and dump to help holders
exit the coin at break even price or small profit.

The name Tetra is of Greek origin. The word Tetradrachm was one of the worlds first silver backed currencies and we have taken
inspiration to create one of the worlds first silver backed digital currency.

The aim is to create a silver backed digital currency with natural growth. The swap taking place from NUC gives us a good initial
coin supply and a relatively small marketcap. We are buying a starting base of silver to give the currency a floor value. The coin
will be mineable with each coin costing approximately the price of 1 gram of silver to mine. With time the supply will increase
but also the value of the coins as there will be an increased coin to silver ratio, eventually aiming for 1:1.

We are converting over to a new blockchain with new mining specifications, all coin holders of the old "Nuclearcoin" need to download
the new wallet.

To get your new coins the process will be as follows:

1) Private message me with your Tetra Address
2) I will provide you with an address to send your old NUC to, so i can verify how much tetra I am to send to you
3) Once i see the NUC arrive i will send Tetra to your new wallet

where do i send my nuclearcoins for swap to tetra..tia Cheesy

6292  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: April 14, 2016, 06:00:44 PM

It wasn't until March 2015, that we became aware of Bridges and Force, with the Cryptsy event taking place in July 2014. There was no way that Paul Vernon would've known that contacting Bridges was no longer an option as he alluded to: http://blog.cryptsy.com/

Quote
Some may ask why we didn’t report this to the authorities when this occurred, and the answer is that we just didn’t know what happened, didn’t want to cause panic, and were unsure who exactly we should be contacting.   At one time we had a open communication with Secret Service Agent Shaun Bridges on an unrelated matter, but I think we all know what happened with him – so he was no longer somebody we could report this to.

At one time we had a open communication with Secret Service Agent Shaun Bridges on an unrelated matter

That unrelated matter is..... laundering Silkroad BTCs?   How they got in contact - Secret Service agent and crypto exchange owner??

That was after Gox fall and in May 2014,other agent Carl Force was reported by Bitstamp to his superiors. So they realised they had to launder BTC first, before sending them to BTC exchange.

Only Mintpal and Cryptsy were large enough to do it at that time. Both in US too.

I don't know if it is related but MANY pages back BitJohn admitted they had been contacted
by the FBI guy asking for info or something who was later arrested by the FBI himself for theft of BTC etc
The guy and another guy were arrested and charged with stealing a million in BTC
and sending out fake warrants basically.
BitJohn said they did not comply with his requests for info etc.
Or did BigVern get wind of this and get a huge boner thinking he has an FBI buddy to trade with now?
I bet on the later LOL

The main story i mentioned was on Coindesk etc all over the world lots.. connected to the Silk Road arrests.

You know the hilarious thing is i said all along this was happening while it was happening on chat endlessly
and ALL Cryptsy staff bent over backwards to mock the fuck out of me and guys like iGotSpots
for the 20th time would go on and on bad mouthing me saying i was "paranoid"
and what do we see ?
EXACTLY as i was saying this secret service activity was going on i was saying it was.
I was right you stupid fucking cunts.. as always Cool

I said all along the FED's are going to be all over this shit from end to end more & more..
AND ALL OF YOU RAN YOUR FUCKING MOUTH AT ME.

AND ALL OF YOU ARE GETTING A BIG FAT I TOLD YOU SO >>> AGAIN !

blow me.. i am the smart one.. so suck it hard douche bags.

PS:
I said you rats would gnaw at each other as the ship sinks
fumbling over each to hide and point the finger at each other.
For a few years this dumb scammy bullshit has been playing out exactly as i said it would.

Think about it.. i seen this crap in the scene coming far in advance crystal clear
so why would i keep trading?
Cryptsy steals coins then cries i was hacked like Mintpal or Gox etc
FED's get heavy involvement where Cryptsy staff admit to "Working with the FBI"
And later has Cryptsy go into the receivers hands..

DUH

Yeah i cashed out all my BTC long ago and quit trading.. i seen this coming long ago.
And i warned you all and you all cried fucking FUD and traded until they closed the doors.
Defending BigVern, Alex Green, or Mark etc every step of the way.. right to the the last minute.

And yea what i just said was a 2nd reference to the Cryptsy staff admitting to working with the Fed's
on a regular basis.. one of them came here and admitted it.
Saying what they do is lock the persons account then send off their private info to the FED's
then feed the user an excuse about blockchain problems or some other made up excuse.

This isn't FUD idiots this is what the staff came here and told us !
And even then most of you all out there simply denied it kept defending them.
WHY ?
Feel paranoid after verifying with them using your Picture ID etc ?
Of course i didn't give them my ID ..i am not an idiot LOL

99% of the people at Cryptsy had advance warning to get the fuck out.. they chose not to.
Hell many ran to Cryptsy China ASAP as they knew Cryptsy USA was falling.. cyberpinoy + Terrik for example.

Cryptsy went FULL FODOR !

+1 up vote ^  Cheesy

I recommend avoiding the thread to clear through the hype and fud in regards to LISK.
Head over to https://lisk.chat

Agree. On the chat much valuable discussions are going on.

why no slack? makes no sense  Roll Eyes

Was already answered many times for you. Slack makes no sense for us.

ok i'm still not getting it every coin worth anything has a slack; you on bitcoin core slack?  Cool *wake up

We already have over 135,000 messages. If we would be on Slack over 92% of our messages wouldn't be visible anymore. Most action goes on in our #delegate channel. The messages in the other channels would be removed. We are already at well over 1000 users and we are not even launched yet. Imagine in 1 or 2 years with 20,000 users or more. Slack for free would be unusable. Wink

This is an example of why I have a lot confidence that the Lisk funds will be spent wisely. Trying to use a paid Slack account for public use hampered the Crypti community building effort at a critical point. Using Rocket Chat from the start for Lisk was very smart move which is obviously proving to be very successful.

lol slack killed crypti? now i've heard everything...  Cheesy  *bwaahaha

Looks like Bloombit.net finally sold all their LISK price is almost back to what it was @ 0.00348

LISK now at a staggering price of 0.0029  Huh

that's still a high price for a non-existent coin  Cheesy   lols

i have validated my passphrase, anything else i need to do? all i see is a transaction ID and a LISK address. how do i access my coins?

Once we are launched you will be able to sign in with your passphrase (which with the validation you confirmed is correct) and you immediately have access to your LISK. Launch is currently scheduled for end of April / early May. Smiley

^you have 5 million+ dollars my nigga ~ can't you afford a PAID ACCOUNT? LOL  Cheesy

No. 20,000 users cost a hell lot of money on Slack. If I remember correctly that would be over $20,000 every month. We are here to build Lisk for years to come, we won't waste it on something like that.

Slack is a team chat, not a community chat! Remember that.  Wink

lol sure ... what do you call the majority of the delegates chat~ not your "team" ?  Cheesy *man you funny

So, if the stolen coins are sent to another exchange and that exchange has no idea who the coins actually belong to.  Who gets them?  lol

it's called market discovery just like when gox went down the coin absorbed into stronger hands UNO has good bid support so i don't see the issue...  Cool
