Does anyone know if the wallet encryption key can be backed up? Is it backed up with the wallet backup?
I'm asking because I'd like to know if an encrypted wallet backup can be restored on another computer. I just don't have time to dig in the code right now...
im not sure if i understand your question. If you want to know if you can restore an encrypted wallet, then the answer is yes (if you have your passphrase of course). If you want to know if you can restore the Passphrase of your encrypted wallet, then no.

Only 48516 vrc outside of top 1000 wallets (top 1k has 99.82% of all coins) Its a bit weird that the distribution has not changed at all even if vrc has these high volume days. Left hand to right hand trades to get volume up? AKA. manipulation http://chainz.cryptoid.info/vrc/#!richLol, stupid FUD. 'top 1k' is 1/3 of non-empty wallets. So great distribution ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) AKA. Bullshit Wealth Distribution : Top 1000 26,731,293 VRC 99.82 % just look an think 2x ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) top guys can even play each other they are only 1000 biggest owners. In later that mean when big investor will cash out it will be painful. If not many owns VRC is much easier to control price but when someone will cash out it will hurts. did you ever look at distribution of bitcoin or fiat? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) and btw, some of the top adresses are exchange wallets, pretty sure nr.1 is mintpal wallet (they already make around 10-15% imo)

In response to VeriBit being some gimmick. No regular alt-coin in the near future will have BitCoin's market penetration, it is the Achillies heel of alt-coins. However as far the end user convenience is concerned VeriCoin actually has more market penetration than Bitcoin. All of Bitcoin's plus a few exclusive for VeriCoin. That's a significant difference overnight.
Regarding convenience, that is why money and digital currency exist, it's more convenient than gold.
Again, how is veribit different than me taking another coin, say DRK, and exchanging it for btc on mintpal to make a purchase? Veribit doesn't revolutionize anything. And guess what, both methods will take a similar amount of time and effort to make a purchase. But Veribit has a 1 btc max right?... Veribit is a gimmick and nothing more. In fact, veribit is harmful. The more people use veribit, the more VRC will be dumped into the markets (as it is being exchanged for btc to make the purchase), only dragging down the price. Looks like vericoin has invented the ultimate dumping machine as it becomes increasingly more "popular." mate where do the vrc come that they need to use veribit? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I warned the XC board minutes before their bubble popped, so I'll warn you guys... You're bubble has popped. Big large red volume bars are taking over. The pump is over, dump commenced. No I have no interest in buying your coin for cheap. JL
So you'll be buying higher? If you make a higher-high I'll retract my statement, however I ain't touching the coin. we had like 4 ATHS in the alst 6 hours lmao

Brilliant concept of verieverything
Just one question- if the vendor accepts bitcoins- i wud just pay in bitcoins (unless ofcourse i mined them and have vericoins)
So can you please explain whats the purpose that i first buy vericoins with my bitcoins (as there are no Fiat/veri market)- then i go to VeriBit to convert those vrc back to bitcoins to pay the vendor !!!
Am i missing something!
yes, but think about this. You'll be able to use VeriSend and VeriBit together..i think, AND I HAVE A QUESTION FOR ANYONE. why is everyone flippin about anonymity. Is everyone tryna buy weapons and drugs? i guess everyone is thinking about money laundering after getting rich in 2 weeks ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

Going to $1000 by July 4th. Or Now
I believe. A friend of mine, whom I told many months ago about BTC, said she was praying and God told her, and it appears with a feeling of urgancy, to invest in Bitcoin. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Now that is bullish news! Is that for real? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Also it would be nice to see 800 by end of June but not real at all. Yes. My friend called this morning. I trust her too based on other things God has spoken to her. It was weird that it was today, the day before the silk road coins are being auctioned. She knew nothing about that. I had to walk her through the entire process because she did not even know where to buy coins. I did caution her she might be in for a bumpy ride. Bitcoin is not an ivestment for those that like a slow and steady ride. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) so satoshi nakamoto = jesus christ? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) (dont wanna offend any christian)

Okay boys, just finished buying ~56,000 more VRC...
I'm not usually a risk taker, but Veri sounds like a good bet!
Liquidated all my shitcoins and bought 10k more ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Tempted to sell my 25,000,000 DOGE & 2,300 LTC... fuckkkkk.... Let's see what tomorrow brings first.. let me guess u were buying @minpal? found the trigger happy much person ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) LOL ya... I've got 2 more BTC pending, then I'll buy some more. I've got VERY high confidence in this coin, and tons of other alts to "liquidate" still. P.S. The thing that I hate most about BTC, is that the price of the alts rise too much while waiting for my damn confirmations. i think a picture says more then thousand words: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F7juwASy.png&t=663&c=NE_fD3bOeaaVBg)
