6301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i start a game here in the forum? on: June 07, 2019, 06:16:06 PM
I don't see any reasons why such game may be not allowed here. You may try to start your competition in Games and rounds section. It's just question how many people will be interested in this game. And don't apologize for your English - it's not bad.
6302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copa América 2019 Discussion Thread & Prediction Pool (Open) on: June 06, 2019, 11:08:28 PM
Guys, I'm going to send BTC later today or tomorrow. Wink
I mostly follow the news on Goal.com and https://www.skysports.com/internationals

There is not much dedicated blog or website for news about the tournament as of now, probably due to the much attention paid to the Europe Nations league, but I'm sure there will be a lot when the tournament gets underway.

Thanks for those links, I checked them out a bit. They are OK but not exactly what I was looking for. I have a feeling that this years Copa America is flying under the radar. Maybe I am wrong but it seems to me that previous editions had much bigger media coverage. I didn't even know it's being played this summer until I found this pool and I am following football news on daily basis.
Yeah, there isn't enough media coverage about Copa America here in Europe. But I'm sure that when tournament will begin, we will see more news about it. In previous tournaments I remember that even local news media in my country gave enough attention to Copa America.
6303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding Cryptocurrencies: Game of Thrones Edition on: June 06, 2019, 08:41:02 PM
Wow, that's nice! I'm not fan of Game of Thrones (yes, there are people who haven't watched Game of Thrones lol), but I really like this post.
I hope you will find way how to improve layout of your post - resolution and size of images, text size and etc.
6304  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Charity Fund on: June 06, 2019, 08:18:01 PM
I'm not against this idea, but I'm not sure that someone acting as third party to collect donations and later send it to charity is really needed. These people who want to donate is already doing it themselves without intervention of third parties.
I remember theymos in past said that Bitcointalk don't really need revenue from sold ad slots, because they have lot of BTC in reserve. So, maybe Bitcointalk can donate part of their revenue to charity, together with this pool?
And if such charity pool will be made, we should be sure that 100% legit charity organisation will be chosen. Because in past I read some bad things about such big organisations like UNICEF, that not all donations reach people who really need for it. So, sometimes I prefer to donate to local animal shelter instead of big charity organisation to be sure that my donated money will be spent in a right way.
No theymos don't involves badges, I see a situation where forum users will only donate just to be recognized via badges which goes against the whole idea of charity. I'll love it, if every one could donate anonymously e.g I won't what to be judge based on the amount of bitcoin I can afford to donate.
Even if some people donate just to be recognized, it's nothing wrong, because they're still helping with their money. Your post reminded me some celebrities or millionaires - I'm sure that some of them donate to be recognized or to it's just PR. But still, they are spreading avareness about charity, advertise it and it helps to attract more donators.
BTW, on Bitcointalk we have "Donator" badge for people who donated 50 BTC and more. I doubt that they donated money to get badge and be recognized here...
6305  Other / Meta / Re: Should beginner and help section be moved to the top of the forum? on: June 06, 2019, 07:40:26 PM
Maybe you're right that Bitcointalk forum may look a bit complicated for Newbie. But I think it's not a reason to move Beginners and help board to the top. As said above, it would be best to display welcome message to new registered users where they can learn basic things about forum, like rules, directions where he can find certain boards and other important stuff.
Now we don't have such welcome message, so you need to help your friend to learn how to use this forum. First of all I recommend to read pinned topics on every board that your friend visit.
6306  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: June 05, 2019, 08:16:09 PM
We are in June already, don't you guys have some extra info to give us about the new version?  Huh  Grin
With Golden ticket contest and Betting added to Freebitco.in, I completely forgot that they planned to launch new version of website crypteer.com with new stuff added to it. But if there would be some news about it, I'm sure that TheQuin would post that information here.
6307  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetHUB.io || +Microwallet (9 coins) ||+Dice & +Jackpot||+Games||+Exchange on: June 05, 2019, 10:57:18 AM
I'm probably being dense but cant re-find the minimum deposit amounts on the Faucethub site anywhere!??
(I saw them once while setting up the acc)
Surely this info should be prominently displayed on the main page of any ...legitimate site..?  Smiley
You can find it here:
https://faucethub.io/dashboard/deposit
ETH: 0.01000000
DOGE: 250.00000000
BTC: 0.00025000
LTC: 0.00250000
XMR: 0.00010000
DGB: 10.00000000
DASH: 0.00100000
As I understand other coins don't have minimum deposit amount.
6308  Other / Meta / Re: The Beginners & Help section needs Help on: June 04, 2019, 10:18:10 PM
Now Beginners and help board is located under word "Other", together with Meta, Politics and society, off-topic and Serious discussion. So, I think it means that this board isn't dedicated for Bitcoin stuff only, but for all questions in general. Everything mixed in one place makes this board a bit messy, but there are many worse boards than this one. The problem that this board don't have dedicated mod for long time and global mods don't always have time to clean up it.
In past there was some proposals to make Altcoin beginners and help board, but theymos probably don't see enough demand to create it. And I don't agree with @jackg suggestion to create Beginners and help Meta section - I think it's not needed at all.
6309  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ~ How Much Money Would you Need to Make to Stop Using Paid Sig Offers? on: June 03, 2019, 10:48:34 PM
There are no certain price. But if someone will offer me 1 million USD (in BTC offcourse), I would stop wearing paid signatures without any doubts Cheesy.
I came to Bitcointalk not to make money. I came here to educate myself and discuss about crypto. As you see, now I don't have paid signature, but I'm still posting here. I just earn enough money for a living from my full time job. But I see nothing wrong to earn some extra money from signature campaign just by doing things thst I like to do.
6310  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Pending coinbase transaction help on: June 03, 2019, 10:12:43 PM
OP, can you give us update about your issue? Do you already see BTC on your Coinbase ballance? In past I had similar problem with Coinbase. I didn't saw BTC on my Coinbase account, despite that transaction got enough confirmations. It only appeared on my account next day. So, I think that now you should see your BTC also already.
And if your issue still not resolved, did you got response from Coinbase?
6311  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any place where I find most active members of this forum on: June 02, 2019, 09:35:15 PM
Most of members that you mentioned is just a users of this forum. Only DdmrDdmr and LoyceV are AI (Artificial intelligence) and Lauda is a cat.
Now seriously, they are all users of forum like all of us. No doubt that they have great knowledge about crypto and it's interesting to read content that they are posting. And some of them have some responsibilitues gere, for example OgNast is helding big part of forum funds, Lauda been moderator of forum in past and now providing escrow services.
If you're looking for some stats and list of users, probably BPIP.org is what you're looking for. You can find most trusted, most merited, most recognized and users with most posts there. And more interesting stats.
6312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copa América 2019 Discussion Thread & Prediction Pool (Open) on: June 02, 2019, 09:22:35 PM
@tomahawk, yup I really like to swing for the fences. Qatar started the AFC as a huge underdog and dark horse, they trained behind closed doors and no one knew who their players were even. They probably won't even get far but hey, the game is full of mysteries these days;)

Qatar didn't exactly play "low teams" as you call them. Beating Japan and South Korea en route to cup was no mean feat, and they had a 100% win record too. If they win against Paraguay and lose against Argentina, there's a good chance they progress, and they won't meet Argentina in the QF if so;)
Yeah, Qatar performance was huge surprise in AFC. Until this tournament they didn't had any big achievements and never played in World Cup. I'm wondering how they managed to improve in very short period of time. Especially considering that they don't have stars in their squad and almost all their players playing in Qatar league. I don't have big expectations from them in Copa America, but it will be interesting to watch them.
6313  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A BIG WARNING FOR NEWBIES on: June 02, 2019, 09:12:54 PM
Great advice, but now unfortunately we can't change situation with these warnings. Usually people aren't listening until thry lose money. Only then they learn from their own mistakes.
And another problem that new people join crypto world every day and we can't reach all of them with these warnings. Many of them aren't educated about these scams, some of them are bit naive and become blinded by these unbeleavable returns advertised on ponzi or HYIP website.
Personally, during my early days in crypto I had invested into several HYIP's, despite that I was aware about all these risks. But after I lost these investments I decided to stop feeding scammers.
6314  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [SCRIPT] ★ Multi Faucet Script ★ $4 For a limited time! ★[SCRIPT] on: June 01, 2019, 11:05:12 PM
Hello!

I see many other people selling their scripts in this section!

Is it not allowed?
I think it's fine to post it here. And I think that you will get more attention on Micro earnings board, because visitors here mainly focus on faucets and many of them don't even visit other sections. As I see, most of faucet script creators selling it here.
6315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there an official site about airdrops? | Also I'd be glad to hear some tips on: June 01, 2019, 10:58:44 PM
Offcourse that there are no official airdrop listing website. When we talk about crypto, word ''official'' can't be used often. It's same like Bitcoin don't have official website.
All these websites which you see in post above aren't official. I'm not saying that it's not good to use, but if you see airdrop listed there, it doesn't automatically means that this airdrop is verified and legitimate. You still have to do your own research before joining it. And even if you see good reviews about airdrop on that website, you still have to be careful, because sometimes website owners are get paid by devs to make good review.
And I suggest you to not waste your precious time on airdrops. There are so many ways how you can spend your time more effective and earn more.
6316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk's UEFA Champions League Football Preditor Pool £25 in btc to join on: June 01, 2019, 10:47:08 PM
I was so close to reach top 5, but even correct prediction tonight wouldn't had helped to reach it. Thank you hilariousandco for running this pool. Congrats to all guys in top 5. And offcourse congrats to all Liverpool supporters here. I only can imagine that LFC_Bitcoin have great night in MadRed right now!
See you guys next season.
But if you will be bored and can't spend summer without football, I invite you to join Copa America prediction pool here:

6317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: June 01, 2019, 09:30:54 PM
Trully deserved win of Liverpool. Congrats to all Liverpool fans here, I know that there are many of you here.
Tottenham started game in worst possible way. They had 3 weeks to prepare for the final and everything what they planned was ruined just after 30 seconds and stupid handball. And I'm not sure that it was good decision to release Kane in starting lineup. He didn't played for a long time and wasn't in best shape tonight. When I saw lineups, I missed Spurs semifinal hero Moura.
Spurs didn't crerated nothing dangerous until 80 minute...
LFC_bitcoin must be celebrating hard in Barcelona right about now! Cheesy
In Barcelona? I thought he is in Madrdid lol Cheesy. Or I should say MadRed Cheesy
6318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: June 01, 2019, 06:11:54 PM
Starting lineups for final match announced:

Hare Kane will start game from first minute.
6319  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Estonia - Crypto project on: May 30, 2019, 09:58:14 PM
If to talk shortly, many crypto startups choose Estonia because it's crypto friendly and very progressive country. And it's not just words - government of Estonia are doing great job and I'm not surprised at all thst many projects see this country as a good place to start their crypto business. I think it's more visble choice than to start your business in one of tax heavens.
I think differently, most projects start from Caymand Islands and UAE.
Can you give reference for this statement? Because as I know Cayman Islands are only chosen to make offshore company, same like Virgin Islands, Bermuda, Costa Rica and other countries and islands. And UAE have only insignificant role in crypto world.
Not much legitimate. I heard this about China, England, Japan already. Maybe i missed some Cheesy.
Everyone want to be center of crypto coz its most promising technology.
Well, with upcoming Brexit, UK have great potential to become center of crypto Cheesy.
And I can't say any bad words about Japan.
