Improve post quality, make some good arguments, and be helpful somehow. I guess that will help finding some merits. You can do what I just have said but I guess it's better if you don't mind getting any merits at all every time you post some replies or topics.
Meta section is not the only board that merit is largely disseminated, maybe you can post on other boards wherein you informed well, especially on your local board. Best of luck!

The negative trust isn't the problem or should I say the trust system as long as there are basis for it to be imposed. Moreover, it isn't moderated so basically it is on the user's choice if he wants to remove it or put it in neutral. But if such disputable situations are not resolved, then it is possible to place negative trust in everyone and the forum will deteriorate. No it wouldn't happen, we have still an administrator that look over in the forum and placing negative trust without some valid evidences of such acts or behavior is totally shady and fair enough it will be provoked if found out. Forum is still handled well. |

Yes it wasn't recognized as malicious but even cryptoscamdb.org relies to etherscamdb.info as it was presented here.  Then EtherScamDB blocks that domain and blacklist it as a phishing website. Can we say that CryptoDB is late to recognize it?  I am not a hater I am a bit more of a mammal who wants clear perceptions on things. |

- Understand that the forum is powered by SMF which requires BBcode language while writing topics. I guess not at all, especially when you just want to post in a normal way. If you don't want to format it that's alright I guess, the good thing about BBCodes is it highlight someone's point, make it neat and clean in a way (depend how you use it) and even make it short especially if you want to hyperlink it to a source of articles, etc. BBCode or Bulletin Board Code is a lightweight markup language used to format posts in many message boards and on sites based on MediaWiki. sourcce: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBCode- Use a tester to see how your writing would look like after publish. I guess the forum has that feature by clicking Preview or hitting alt+p. and as we are in SMF so using BBcode language remains to be a fundamental key to write good/high quality posts. [We can also use BBcode to make low quality posts] Never heard any that it does. Don't worry I'll volunteer to try it to prove that theory and let see its effectivity. This seems to be so complicated for any user and almost all users using BBcode doesn't use tester for their code and just edit their post after publish if noticing a mistake or if get noticed by other users that there is a mistake in the code. Well, mistakes happen but here in forum it can be corrected on the " edit" option even you started the topic or even it is just a reply to a topic. Why i write this topic?
It's a suggestion to add a feature/option in users profiles for privacy and not feeling watched, where they can build/convert/test any bbcode before posting and correct spelling/code mistakes that may occur and only shown after display. Can't understand what you are trying to spit out here. I don't know if this technically possible or if it even make sense but i discovered (by chance) that there is another forum offers a dedicated board for BBcode test and only shown by the user and the stuff. It works like test compiler for programmers. By chance (too) will you let us know what forum is it? |
