No way!!  A conversation about Religion on the internet turned into insulting religion.   I DON'T EVEN BELIEVE THIS!

It wasn't even about religion, just short and sweet info about church accepting bitcoins.

I thinks it's best for everyone if I lock this thread. You can always throw shit at each other in Off topic.

Thanks for sharing, but:

There's no hard cap on DOGE, therefore 'Unmined' are infinite.

Doge won't hit 25 soon imo.

Don't think it will. But ~40 is possible. And then another pump before the next halving (in ~52 days)

Could someone tell me why all 25 post need to be in english?

Because this is english gambling's site.

AND why must post at gambling section ?

I believe people should understand and believe in product they are advertising.
Posting in gambling thread means our signature is delivered to targeted audience who are interested in gambling
and potentially can become our customers.

It is a very logical thing to do for  both us and forum community.

quote from fortune jack

Don't mislead people. You don't have to post in gambling section in this campaign.

And that's good, I don't like that requirement in FJ campaign (that's the reason I chose this one). Sig campaigns have always been about renting peoples' sig space, while they're posting as they would normally do. Forcing anyone to post in a specific section is a bit out of line, they may as well require everyone to make 5 posts praising FJ.

bit saggy, but that's the best I could do...
6328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just what is a FAIR fee to send a Bitcoin transaction? on: October 20, 2014, 11:57:33 AM
Something between $0.01 - $0.05 is perfect imho (in current conditions). If fees are too high, that would kill the small tx (low value purchases, donations, tips etc) and would make BTC less competitive and less appealing comparing to cc, paypal and others.

Then again, fees need to be high enough to compensate for mining costs (when block rewards become insignificant). So it's all about balance.

Flexible fees may also be a good idea, i.e. equivalent of $0.005 for micro tx (up to $5?), $0.05 for tx of $5-$500 and $0.50 for >$500. Don't think that's possible to implement tho.

6330  Economy / Gambling / Re: Real Life, Live, House Bank Investment Comparison Table For The Top 8 Operators on: October 20, 2014, 09:53:37 AM
VERY nice comparison table! Just one (small) thing... I am not sure I understand that final "score" column, is that related to the other numbers (seems not) or it's just about your general feeling on the sites?

It's not based on numbers but on their rating. Go to their website and click 'review score' to see how they rate it.

One thing I don't get. They say they've invested BTC1 in each, but in 'Bitcoin Casino' review score it says:

What we don’t like:
Investment not open to all customers and ฿10 minimum. House bank and dice bets stats not available. Navigation is not as intuitive as other sites. Not much action.

up 15 btc investing 19 btc when the profit was -83 on prcdice=P I love it

I invested small amount when profit was slightly above zero. Made around 37%, so similar to the OP. There were some crazy times when whales were playing.

Also made ~10% on DOGE investment, but not many people know that PRCDice accept it, so there are not many DOGE players.

6336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / "Beam" - we need more companies like this one! on: October 18, 2014, 08:35:00 PM
A simple idea for a startup. They send money from UK to Ghana using BTC.

It would probably be cheaper if sender/recipients were familiar with bitcoin and could transfer without middleman. But I love the concept.

Wonder what the Western Union, MoneyGram and others will do when companies like Beam turn to be successful, don't think they will agree to die quietly.

Nice topic idea.

Will you update this thread regularly?
6339  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Site Life Span on: October 18, 2014, 05:50:55 PM

How big do you think is that marketing funds? $5k, $10k? If that is not enough, what is enough?

Probably you'd want to start with a signature campaign on this forum.
The standard rate is about 0.1 BTC /month (for senior member), but to attract enough participants you'd need 0.12 BTC.
To be effective, you'd need to recruit around 50 people.

Thats:

50 * 0.12 = 6 BTC, which at current rate ($390) gives $2,340 for the first month, just for the sig campaign.

On top of that, you'd probably need some advertising outside this forum and some sort of promotions/bonuses/on-site giveaways to give people an incentive to switch to your site.

Sending out payment to all Staff that have Pmed me. I'm considering re-opening this campaign in the very near future with fixed rates.
It looks like the PD campaign may be coming back in one form or another

Not a surprise, you rarely see PD sigs these days
