6321  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Alternative way to buy btc with cash in UK now that lbc stopped cash deposits?? on: July 02, 2019, 12:54:31 AM
A side from meeting up with dodgey dave down an alley way. Is there a safe alternative? Another reputable online escrow provider?
I know they're btc atms now but fees a pretty high on acale

I believed it's really common that all crypto ATM's is usually associated with fees higher than the average fees when dealing in exchanges but how much "fees" we are talking here pointing to Crypto ATM's there?

If using ATM's will save you from hassle way, trouble or risks and will give you convenience, comfortability and instant transaction, then I think you should consider using those especially if the fees don't have a small difference to an online exchange service.
6322  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Savings Vs Investment? on: July 02, 2019, 12:34:12 AM
The traditional norms made us believe that savings are a safe option to store your wealth.
But is it true now?
With inflation, we all know that the prices of the wealth we have kept in our savings account will decrease. What is the use of saving when ultimately we are not even able to enjoy what we have been saving for years?
The smarter option?
Investment! Investment is not gambling if done rightly. Very often we see people not putting too much effort into learning and jumping into FOMO. They don’t have enough guidance that will help them to invest better.

As much as possible, we must secure future funds by doing both savings and investments. Not just pure investments.

Inflation will not happen overnight so you are overthinking too much about that possibility. Still, it's necessary to have savings while dealing and managing with our own investments along the way. We must have a purpose of regular and continuous accumulation whether fiat, crypto or any other assets as part of diversifying our own funds. We also need to secure backup funds if ever our certain investment went wrong.

Being struck by FOMO is a usual thing. Let others experienced it but be sure to learn from it. There's no such thing as success without problems along the way. Those who have experienced several difficulties along the way are the one who made it a success at the end.
6323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2 Year Old Video About the Bitcoin Price on: July 01, 2019, 11:57:51 PM
Bitcoin to Hit from $10,000, to $100,000 & even $1 Million USD.

https://blog.bitireland.ie/Video/two-years-ago-bitcoin-hit-10000

What do you think?

Even how good and well-detailed professional analysis is about the decent price of BTC in the future, I really don't recommend to show or recommend this type of speculations and predictions to some especially the newcomers.

No doubt, we as an BTC enthusiast, see BTC does really have a bright future but rather stick with the idea like that, let's also spread the knowledge on how volatile crypto is. Yes, all the risks associated once people put money on crypto. Many wrecked along the way because of the mindset that a high price increase will happen in the future and people will get quick rich overnight. 2017 is the best example.
6324  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Binance the Best Exchange for Crypto trading? on: July 01, 2019, 11:33:59 PM

Nice review. Same with the previous reviews on Kraken, Bittrex and Coinbase Pro.

Although for technical and deep users, they need more, the information stated in the article at each exchange is a good and useful reference for newbies who are having a hard time comparing one exchange to another.

Just be updated anytime for some changes happened on those exchange and I hope more exchanges to follow (although I'm sure it's already on your next plan).

As for the thread title, considering "the best exchange" is based on our own preferences. Binance is no doubt one of the reputable exchanges today so we can assume that this is the most suggested exchange making it "the best".

Never have a problem, minor or major, using this exchange so far.
6325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 01, 2019, 11:08:05 PM

A competitive Eastern Conference once again!

Brooklyn Nets with Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving
Miami Heat with Jimmy Butler (he fits here honestly)
Boston Celtics quite back again at their 2017-2018 lineup
Philadelphia 76ers with the new additional roster
Milwaukee Bucks with the same core lineup (although Brogdon is now out and heading to the Pacers)
Toronto Raptors - if ever Kawhi will stay
New York Knicks - nevermind for now

No such thing as predictable now who will emerge to the top at each Conference.

The trading/signing is not yet done and some of the rumors are close to happening now. We might see other surprises later on.
6326  Economy / Speculation / Re: !!! Q3 game is life, Quarter 3 prediction game !!! on: July 01, 2019, 10:35:01 PM

Ok, let's participate again.

After the unexpected price surge to over $13,000 recently, the momentum is bit stopped and the price experienced a dip and began swinging at the range of less than or around $10,000 to $12,000 for around 48 hours now and continue to find the possible "bottom" for the meantime. Although past performance can't guarantee future results, I will consider the past performance here as one of the basis + other factors because the goal is to predict the price 3 months from now.

My guess is $30,000 - sharp.
6327  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [EVENTS] Blockchain Meet Ups/Conferences in the Philippines (includes Fintech) on: July 01, 2019, 04:15:44 AM

Maulan the whole day sa Makati e so I assume pati sa most part of Metro Manila.

Sayang kahit malayo nakapunta sana ako. That time kasi naka-sched din kami sa coins.ph tournament so di kaya pagsabayin and hassle from Makati to QC tapos maulan pa.
6328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DigiLit App - New Crypto Volume Alerting Mobile App for the Trading Community on: July 01, 2019, 03:39:33 AM

Can't test the app. It's a paid application and doesn't want to use my credits just for test purposes.

What's special about this app since it's a paid app?

What are some of the unique feature on this app that other related free apps don't have?
6329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 01, 2019, 12:46:57 AM

That's it, Kevin Durant surprised the NBA world with the confirmation of signing in Brooklyn Nets.

And as anyone thoughts that he will be teamed up with D'Angelo Russell, no it won't happen as Russel will be part of the sign-in trade and from Nets to Warriors, the latter shown interest to Minnesota Timberwolves although they need to move some salary to create cap space.

We don't know if KD will be the same KD after he recovers but his addition to the Nets will surely make Eastern Conference much more competitive again. And take note that Kyrie Irving might be landed here as well.

Dallas Mavericks fans out there;

Porzingis signs max deal with Dallas
As expected, 7-foot-2 unicorn Kristaps Porzingis agreed to sign a five-year, $158 million max deal with the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavs traded for the big man from the Knicks before last season's deadline.

The considered Dirk Nowitzki 2.0 will now be alongside with young Luka Doncic. I'm hoping for several seasons now that someday I will see them back in Playoffs.
6330  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 30, 2019, 10:13:36 PM

Natalo kami sa first ever coins.ph Mobile Legends Tournament last June 29.

Ok na rin for experience. Better luck next time. Smiley

Though di ako sure if until when tong no fee sa mga banks na to, I'm so sure this is really a  big help lalo na tulad ko na I'm using BDO for cash out which P200 kada withdraw dun so far now okay na.

BDO ka pala? Already tried large cashout to them?

Wala ba kayong problema pag bumibili duon?

6331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why I am so frustrated with bitcoin on: June 30, 2019, 09:31:51 PM

So basically, this thread is not about concerns on technical aspects or related thing to that about crypto but a certain trader here is currently wrecked up and blames all his losses to the volatile world of crypto.

How long do you trade now? Just pure win before so not used on having a loss? Still no adjustments after every loss?

You are the one who has to adjust on how to deal with the market's behavior rather than the "market will adjust for your own sake". Build experienced and analyze what's wrong on your strategy on the way. Trading is not as easy as 1,2,3 and you must not expect that every wind should go on your desired direction.
6332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 30, 2019, 08:58:51 PM

So far, I like how the current trading activity, rumors or not, is happening in the Eastern Conference. Good thing those people who are on the hot seat will surely not jump on the other side of the conference. We like to see again a competitive East next season like happen last season wherein we don't know who will be on the top (Boston Celtics got the most favorites last season to snatch the top spot on the East. Not Milwaukee Bucks, Toronto Raptors, Philadelphia 76ers, etc.).

Again in the East, as far as the latest reports are concerned, we can expect a piece of Kawhi Leonard's plan and decision for this week or two. He will be having meetings with different teams although I just don't know if there's another team pursuing him that not included in the hot teams that previously shown interest in acquiring Kawhi.

For now, people are all eyes for Kevin Durant's decision today although it might be obvious what will be his choice (or it might surprised us?). But we won't know until the announcement.
6333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with goal setting on: June 30, 2019, 07:41:32 PM
Cryptocurrency is really unpredictable. It can go to peak at this moment and drops $4,000 tomorrow. It can also be stagnant for the whole month or so. In this i learned that you shouldnt speculate much about its price bit rather put some goal price or margin where you sell it whether you like it or not. If you dont needed the money yet then its better because you can wait longer than others. With this you cant avoid greediness and earning depending on your goal price.

For those who want to take advantage of the price swing, it's really not necessary or must set a "too much" price target before executing a certain strategy because that might wrecked them. It's applicable to all coins whether their volume is performing well or not.

Before anyone got mislead, I will say again, "too much" of the price target.

Responsible trading should always be done whatever the circumstances. If we saw profits and anticipates based on their own research and study that they can make a re-entry due to possible dip, then execute the sell order. What if the price goes up more? Then make another set of strategy and etc.

Obviously, we will experience different situation and scenarios while dealing in trading. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Instead, take that as a reference and do anything not to repeat it again.

6335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 28, 2019, 06:55:00 PM
BUTLER will be more valuable in other team but not in Rockets, not with Harden particularly.
I would rather see him teaming Lebron James if possible than with Harden honestly, he actually deserve a better team as we know what he can do in big games like in the playoffs, if we followed him in the last playoffs against the Raptors, we saw how valuable he is.

Unfortunately, Butler doesn't want to play with LeBron James. Sort of ego, attitude and pride. Same reason with Kyrie.

Teaming him up with LeBron is one of the hot topics in trading rumors last year. And he strongly declined any possible offer to team up with LeBron. One of the reason is, he wants to beat LeBron badly since then.

BUT.... after the current year's postseason...the wind changed the direction and he shows interest now teaming up with LeBron. I just don't know how this will end up.
6336  Economy / Speculation / Re: Downward Trend on: June 28, 2019, 06:32:17 PM
Is current crypto downward trend only temporary?

I don't know what you meant for "downtrend". Seeing concerns like this in social media concluding it's now a sign of a crashed.

You guys really forgot how much the price increases a while ago. So the sudden dip really puts you into the worried state.

Sensitivity at it's finest because of the sudden drop. Look at the bottom. That's what we need to determine in every price jump. We need more dips to test how prepared bitcoin price to make another journey to the moon. We don't want to see again an increase that a product of pure hype.
6337  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to invest my $1300 USD? on: June 28, 2019, 06:10:16 PM
Hi guys, where do you think should i put my remaining $1300USD? Any suggestion please? and why?

Since you have mentioned "remaining", can you tell us where you put the others?

You should have known already where do you think it can put since you able to diversify your funds to others. I just don't know if all your capital goes to crypto.

Again, as I always say, don't just follow people's advice because even they got profit out of playing those coins, you might have different results. Do self-analysis, self-research, and homework.

Anyways, reading your responses in the thread, you have now decided to put your money in ETH. Good luck with that.
6338  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 28, 2019, 05:47:47 PM

Seriously BTC0.0021 as minimum? Kailan yan? So how much more sa median at priority? Di na kasi ako nagamit ng coins.ph for sending. Mostly, from Electrum.

Current fees as of I'm typing this is around BTC0.003 for priority and BTC0.0008 for median transaction. Parang nung 2017 lang a. Di ako natingin sa Peso Value in terms of fees. Talagang mataas yan pag convert. If below or around BTC0.008 sa median, ayan tolerable pa sken whatever the PHP value. Ngayon, gamit na lang kayo alternative like sa nasuggest sa taas if gusto niyo ma-lessen ang fees as possible.

Coins pro might be another alternative way (I think so) pero dahil nasa whitelist pa din ako and hindi maka access, don’t know if it’s probably can be another way.

Bulok ngayon ang coins.pro. Dami problema although good thing mula nung 27th, marami na nakapag initiate mag cashout or trades.

6339  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Anyone tried Abra? Any feedback? it is easy better than coins pro? on: June 28, 2019, 02:18:28 AM

Cash-IN sa PHP Wallet? What cash-in method ang ginamit mo?

For that amount, Php 5,000, 7eleven, GCASH and Bank cash-in charges around or less than Php 100 lang.

Never tried it before but some of my known people sa Crypto GC namin is yan ang gamit pag bibili ng BTC via credit card purchase. Not with the fees (3-4% according to them) but convenient daw kasi. Mostly, BPI, EastWest, CitiBank gamit nila.
6340  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hold on: June 28, 2019, 01:27:50 AM
Hello, I´m 13 and I´m very interested in Bitcoin, because of this I buy BTC. Actually, I've been studying BTC for over a year to invest. Back to the subject, I buy BTC for 9.200 dollars, and I would like to know if you think it´s a good ideia hold btc until it reaches 20.000. Anyway, for now i´m going to wait btc until it reaches in 20.000 for me to sell. What do you think about my opinion? Wink

Since you bought it at $9,200 then it definitely makes sense to HODL it until it reaches a decent price. But remember that don't expect too much price target as it might give you regret and disappointment.

I will give you 2 pointers.

a) If you see profits, don't hesitate to sell "if you are aiming to take advantage of the possible price swings". Since you are already over a year studying how BTC price behaves, you should now at least know how to consider some factors before selling. You will not risk decent money after all, at your age, if you don't know what you are doing. You can make a re-entry anytime.

b) If you are eager to wait for that $20,000 then it's up to you. In price ups and downs, you must force yourself not to dump it but instead just continue the accumulation. It will take time and needs tons of patience. And honestly, we don't know here if after reaching $20,000, you will really sell or will be carried away for much higher expectations.

Good luck with that.
