Team world loss guys, 144 - 161, a very high scoring game.
For a while, I thought they had a chance but the team USA is just too good tonight, they are shooting well.

I'm waiting now on who will be declared as MVP, it's probably Kuzma IMO.

Wow, I thought Team World will take this one, but Team World was shooting poor specially in three points category and had more turnovers. Simmons lead them with 28 points, while Team USA had Kuzma with 35 points.

So he takes the MVP this year. Hats-off to him. It will also bring more confidence to him as a Laker.
6322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - Eating your Brain and Money on: February 16, 2019, 01:37:30 PM
This is an eye opener situation for me, and I’ve realized that gambling was slowly eating my brain and my money. Now I’m broke but still kickin, this can be the proof that chasing your losses is not good at all and it should be avoided. Have the same experience with me? Don’t hesitate to share and give some thoughts for those who are suffering from sitution like this.  Sad

Money is not the problem, but if it's going to eat your mind then you need to stop because it will bring you more harm in the future.

Just stay positive, as I have said, it's only money. You can earn it, but you need to control your self or be responsible if you want to continue to gamble.

I've been in situation like this, much worst like this. But I'm glad that I was able to snap back in time and realized what's happening on my life that's why I learn to control myself and not playing all my money as f it's the end of the world and there's no more tomorrow.
6323  Economy / Economics / Re: Expert Opinion about Cryptomarket 2019 on: February 15, 2019, 05:10:06 PM
It's good to trust a crypto expert but don't be too sure, and I think to try to make a profit in the short term we need to make our own research and strategy.

What? trust crypto expert? First, there's no such thing as expert here, Second, if you believed in them, its like believing that Santa is real. And most of time, those supposedly, crypto expert prediction is a missed. And they are just like you and me, just making a wild educated guess.

If you know how to do TA then much better, if you don't then try to learn it so that you don't need to really to others so called expert predictions.
6324  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2018 v/s 2019 on: February 15, 2019, 04:43:48 PM
Get over the 2018 scenario, It's already 2019 and a new ball game for everyone.

As other's have said, past performance is a not a indication of future success or failure, so I wouldn't put too much on the 2018 vs 2019. Learn to look at the bright side specially if you're here for the long haul. But cheap coins in 2019 and HODL for the next one to two years. No need to go technical and make things complicated on our end.
6325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Slot Malfunction Looking for investor ASAP on: February 15, 2019, 04:32:00 PM
I dig around on many many Bitcoin casinos until I find something lucrative to hit hard. I found a Malfunction/but on a slot and i cashed over 3btc in 5 minutes.

https://imgur.com/a/JyI2J2t

I want to up the stakes with 2-3 btc to play .05 btc spins. I will turn it into 30btc + fast. I will use some of my coins too. We will split 50/50 the profit.

Write me on telegram @william_crabtree if your ready. I can prove the Wallet address I withdraw to is mine also.

No BS let's hit it big it won't last only taking 1 person to invest with.
This is not adding up the equation. If you have won 3 btc and cashed out then why not you use these btc and keep playing with them until you get the 30btc. Why would you share the winnings with anyone. Be selfish hehe

It's because there's no malfunction slot machine and everything was just a ploy to attract greedy gamblers here. And I'm sure that the casino itself is monitoring if there's a bad machine and obviously a win on a bad or malfunction or rig machine is voided.

He can just go and search for wallets in blockchain and claim his, this individual is not to be trusted by even a penny.
6326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 15, 2019, 04:21:18 PM
And thats how Klay separates from real superstars. He's ability is limited to only pure shooting skills, if he's having an off-night, he cant do nothing to help his team get the W.

I disagree, Curry also have an off night when he is locked down by his defender but they are lucky to win some games.

Seems like we don't notice how improve the Portland TrailBlazers this season, they have improve their defense inside and the back court duo of Lillard and C. J. McCollum are blending well, they are moving the ball well, and shoot outside with great percentage, and we should also note
that some of their players even big man are shooting well in the 3 point spot.

I disagree as well. Klay Thompson is a better defensive player than Curry so he can contribute in the defensive side as well. It's just his on a off-night and he can't do anything and definitely he vent his frustrations. Lillard and C. J. McCollum on the other hand is clicking I saw some youtube interviews of the two and it seems they're really focus to bring Portland to the next level.

Well, thats just my opinion and views towards Klay, besides, there were couple of defensive players around his team, so that makes him less noticable on that end.
While on the other hand, Portland is a team that really has something to prove in the playoffs.  Lillard and CJ is a perfect compliment for each other.

Yep, the Lilard and CJ tandem is a perfect match for Portland. As for Klay, of course his main weapon is his outside shooting but his defense is sometimes underrated. He play good defense in my opinion. I wouldn't say elite though, as others may have suggested, but he has a good perimeter defense.

As for the Team World vs Team USA, I'll go with Team World here.
6327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The used of Bitcoin in Africa on: February 15, 2019, 04:04:48 PM
I really love seeing some thread that tackles positivity than the negative effect of crypto specially in countries from the continent of africa in which experiencing poverty but yet come to join the cryptocurrency fever.

It's because crypto is sound money for them, and it will be a big help for them to alleviate their standard of living through the help of crypto, I reckon.

sometimes i am asking why countries like them are more involved than the bigger ones.they are more supportive than my own country though we have no strict regulations regarding crypto

Bigger nations will lost a lot if their population will be totally in crypto, just like China says. They think it will disrupt their stable economy. On the other hand, developing nation has nothing to lose and it's a win-win situation for them, that's why it's easy for their government to turn pro-crypto.
6328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 14, 2019, 02:52:41 PM
Warriors had a blowout loss today losing to Portland 107-129. Trailblazers had good contribution from the whole roster with NINE players in double digits and Lillard scoring 29 points on top of it. On the other hand, just Durant and Curry managed to reach double digits scoring 32 each.
Nice game hustle for the Trailblazers, props to them. It is very rare to see a solid line up like GSW get beaten in a game, and take note, with a double digit lead. Anyway, if Durant and Curry are the players who carry the team then what happened to Thompson? Hmm, it seems that he is not so lucky today lol, what a very unusual scenario Grin. (Sorry I wasn't able to watch their game)

There's a lot of drama in GSW lost. Steve Kerr was ejected, Cousins didn't play and the management just decided to rest him, Green was called for a flagrant foul on Collins, and then there was some words thrown between Collins and Klay.

It was a tight game until Portland out scored them in the 4th canto, 35-12. Portland snapped GSW's five game winning streak, before the all-star-break.
6329  Economy / Economics / Re: JPMorgan Launches JPM Coin, World’s First Bank to Launch Cryptocurrency on: February 14, 2019, 02:37:50 PM
I'm not surprised by this move, they have been attacking bitcoin in the past and now everything is really unfolding as they have their own agenda from behind, take advantage of the technology behind and then have their own crypto.

I'm sure that this will be private but it's really ironic, how those bankers are very hostile in the past and now realizing the true potential of blockchain technology and using it and try to look they're fully supported crypto's. lol.
6330  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Alert notifications from 10 crypto exchanges on: February 13, 2019, 11:25:53 AM
I guess this is good since this is a free service (I do hope you will maintain it that way).

Second, it will save most traders time as you don't have to go to each exchanges and get the alerts. I do like it that it only gets signal from those exchange which has a lot of trading volume.

Third, I haven't check the telegram channel, but it could be one good source as well, I don't want to call it pump-and-dump channel, but someone might chime in from time to time and give us some good coins to invest and make money.
6331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy in Sports Betting on: February 13, 2019, 11:03:01 AM
In dice game, there isn't any relation between dice rolls so using martingale can incur multiple losses in a raw and wipe out your bankroll but what about sports betting?

You bet on a good team, it will win eventually. No?

I think this has been discussed many years ago.

Personally, I don't like Martingale System specially in sports betting, might better if you just parlays.

If you're the one who gets addicted, what possibilities can you do?

This is a hard question to answer, specially for addicted one because majority of them doesn't want to admit their addiction.

If you're gonna ask me, maybe I'll first have a serious discussion with my wife bout the money that I will gonna spend at the casinos then later on we could have an endless arguement that can lead us into nothing.

It's a bold move, but this should be a case to case basis. Not everyone's wife will totally agree with this approved.

If I get addicted maybe there is also a possibility that I will certainly blame people whenever I lose on a game. (That's the attitude that I have and I don't want it to show.)

And you? Would you be the same? Or even worst?

True. I have been in this situation before, I blame everyone, all the people from behind, even someone who sits beside me in a slot machine. lol. Until I realized that I've been too much in gambling because of that attitude, so what I do is control and reduced my gambling and be a responsible gambler. I don't want to be another person who's going to ruined his life, so I decided to just play and have fun and not worry about my winnings.
6333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction becomes more popular with young people over time on: February 12, 2019, 08:28:15 AM
At the moment young people are indeed the biggest percentage owner who is addicted to gambling games, this is inseparable from the many young people who get the ease of accessing gambling games. The gambling game is currently very accessible to the millennial era so that young people become the highest possessor of dominance. Most of them play gambling to get entertainment, but some who can't control themselves are in the addiction phase. But for me, the addiction that young people get is not too severe, it is because mentally that young people have good readiness.

I think young people will not simply go and gamble. For me there are outside influence, like a friend or someone close that introduces them to gambling. Of course, online is accessible, but I seriously doubt that they will just go create an account and gamble, maybe they became curious, but that's not number reason for them.

Younger people are easily influence, and if someone shows them how to gamble online and have easy money, then that is the start of their gambling journey, imho.

6334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC on ESPN 1: Ngannou vs Velasquez Prediction and Info Thread on: February 12, 2019, 07:54:24 AM
Agreed that Cain is the best heavyweight, however he has been out of the octagon for 2 years. How would we know that he would be the same Cain Velasquez? Also, he has been suffering with reoccuring injuries in all of his career in the UFC.

That is correct, he used to be the best heavyweight, but injuries has taken its toll on his body and I think it's more of a mental game for Cain here. Perhaps he has healed already physically, but I'm sure there are lot of questions and doubts on his mind prior to the fight.

But as fans we wanted him to return and reclaim the belt, but I seriously doubt that after being out for two years, he will still be the same Cain Velasquez that we used to know.
6335  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: First hand examples of Emotional trading on: February 12, 2019, 07:43:39 AM
What are some examples of when emotions mess up your trades?

Here are some trades that goes wrong because of myself being emotional:

- I already made 50% last 3 days, I didn't sell and thinking that the price could still go up, next thing happened it goes down again

- I didn't listen to my gut feeling, did not invest then the price goes to the moon

- I listen to someone shilling for a certain token and since he is a friend of mind, I put big amount of money, now I'm still down and the coins never goes up
6336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Received 0.00000546 BTC in your Wallet | Bitcoin Attack on: February 12, 2019, 07:33:02 AM
The article says,

Quote
If you received 0.00000546 BTC in your wallet then beware from such transfer, Scammer does this in order to track your identity and then ask you money for not revealing your identity.

How can hackers track my identity using a small transaction? Can someone knowledgeable explain this? Looking at the nature of the attack, it looks very similar to the ransomware attack we faced earlier. If that is the case, only tax evading big bitcoin hoarders should be worried.

Exactly my thoughts, how can they steal your identify?

And as far as I know, if you received dust amount, and it came from a tainted bitcoin, and if authorities is following it and have tracked it to let's say your exchange address, it may put your account at risk. That's the only thing I can think of right now that might negatively impact on everyone who has received it, otherwise I will welcome anything free in my wallet.  Grin
6337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest ICO in the history: Dragon on: February 11, 2019, 01:55:40 PM
I'm not aware of this so called Dragon Project. We are in the bear market but so it's extremely hard to raised that needed $$$ in this worsening conditions, but it's amazing if they did actually.

How much is the softcap/hardcap target though? I'm just curious. Again, the price plummeting has something to do with bounty hunters dumping it, sad to burst the bubble. There are also cases that lots of ico's have raised so much money but end up going down as well, so I'm not surprised by this news.

6338  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much Bitcoin to accumulate now to be financially set after the next boom? on: February 11, 2019, 12:26:03 PM
In the country where I lived in, and if the next bull run the price of bitcoin reaches around <$30k per pop, I would say that 5 bitcoin will be a good amount to accumulate between today and the next bull run and I could say that I will be financially stable in the next couple of years.

But if you're staying in a first world country, I doubt that 5 bitcoin will be enough for you to survived in the next years or so. Probably you need 50 bitcoin or more, imho.
6339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Walk of Shame on: February 11, 2019, 12:15:41 PM
Yep I did it several times, but I don't have any kids or wife. At this time I just remember how many times I won and how many times lost, after that I understand that I won much often, so I'm getting better.
I think that is because of your inability to control yourself, all players will experience it if they have no control and get out of their
plans. the worst you will spend all your money at the casino, and go out with shame

If you spent all of your money in casino and lost of it, then you will not only feel shame in front of your wife and family but also it will be troublesome for you too as your money is lost and now how will you meet your daily expenses. In extreme cases, you have to take loan and it will further make your life tough.

I guess that he will have some conversation with his family and even the bad words will come out because he loses all of his money. That is what we will get if we are lost and we were telling to other people because not all people around us can accept for our lose and they can blame for what we've done. So maybe he can make a choice not to tells other people about his losses, but he doesn't need to play gambling again in the other days.

Again, I don't know if those people who are really addicted and have experienced the walk of shame has the willingness to tell their family what really happened. And I'm sure that you will hear every excuses in the book and will not admit that they have lost everything in a casino.

It's really hard to be addicted in gambling and unless you can control your emotions and will just play to have some fun, then you won't be experience this so called 'walk of shame'. It's hard and brutal and it is really painful to experience it.
6340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 11, 2019, 11:59:02 AM
Celtics lost another game when they were leading 20 points at one point, that is back to back for them.

Unfortunately, they are the new "choke" team.

On a period when raptors are getting stronger with trades and bucks are making good moves as well and Sixers are miles ahead of everything getting amazing players during trade deadline, Celtics really dropped to 4th favorites now.

It also shows that the East is making every move to be very competitive in their division and obviously the wanted to challenge GSW and the rest of the West powerhouse.

They were the conference finalists last year without Kyrie and Gordon and now with them they are not even the favorites which shows how much NBA can change in just couple months. I think seeing how they play right now and how all other east teams play I think its easy to imagine Sixers could be the finalists this year.

Probably just a case of bad luck. Kyrie is really pushing his body in the last 10 games or so and wanted to bring Celtics to the next levels. But other teams are going very competitive as well. And in just a couple of months they are one of the favorites and now Bucks, Sixers and Toronto are fighting or the top seed. Hope though that Boston and Kyrie will not choke when the play-off starts and this is where the team elevate their game so lets see.
