6321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 09, 2019, 10:35:46 AM
The Greek Freak mad again an amazing performance in the Bucks win against Mavericks. Antetokounmpo played like the real MVP of the team and his stats were very very impressive. I think that after Mirotic signing, the Bucks can now challenge the NBA title. After all this amazing performance that Giannis has done this season, he deserves a ring.

I agree. His name should be in the contention for this year's MVP. The scary part is that he is not even at his prime yet, but he has done so far that he could be a candidate for the MVP. I even read some article that even the great Dirk is impressed with Giannis transformation.

I'm sure they will be the top seed in the East, so it's going to be compelling how he is going to perform come playoff time.
6322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: For those bounty hunters who can hardly relate on: February 08, 2019, 01:35:33 PM
Yes, this is very true and I can relate to it. In conclusion, all our hard work its gone specially if you think that you have a lot of stakes and the price should be as close at the ICO price mentioned before you joining.

But sadly, it's useless, no value at all and all your hard work and waiting went off the window. Right now this is the sad state of most bounty hunters, that's why I decided to quit bounty hunting for now.
6323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please advise me which coins best for the day trading on: February 08, 2019, 01:23:15 PM
You can buy ETH and maybe Tron which seems to be growing well due to some development and hype I think there are many potential coins out there The most important key is how you research your best projects

The OP is asking for a coin that is good for doing short trading. I don't think that ETH or Tron will be a likely candidate because they're more for a long term hold.

I usually look at coinmarketcap and see which coins is moving here https://coinmarketcap.com/gainers-losers/. But you need to be very careful and should get out once you make money already. No need to be emotional or greedy otherwise you might lose control.
6324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this year be favourable to you? on: February 08, 2019, 04:59:11 AM
I'm not a frequent gambler myself, I just play occasionally just lost a few dollars so I would say that it's not favorable to me. But then again, I play to have fun and enjoy and just to past some time so I'm not taking my lost a big thing.

But as I have seen in some replies, people do take it seriously and lost big amounts already. But I won't say anything bad or give them advise though, I think they know what they entered and I hope that they can have a good a day wherein you guys can recover.
6325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China banned ICO's not Bitcoin idiots! on: February 08, 2019, 04:46:34 AM
It seems that China has banned the ICO due to low prices of Bitcoin, they will start ICO again.

I suggest you learn more how and why China banned ICO in the first place. It doesn't have any correlation to the bitcoin price. They ban ICO or token sales because they deemed it illegal and they believed that it can disrupt their economy.

Imagine Chinese investing on ICO and getting rich as hell and disrupting their economic and financial stability, it would make sense for them to ban it, but I'm not saying I agree with their decisions.
6326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Progressing adoption on: February 08, 2019, 04:34:40 AM
Lately, I have not been hearing much about Bitcoin, other than media mentioning that the value is decreasing.

Obviously, the hype died down. Specially when we entered the bearish zone in 2018 and up to this day.

In addition, the transaction volume processed by payment gateways is also decreasing. I feel that adoption has come close to a standstill. What is your opinion about this?

I guess it really boils down to the volatility of the market. Business wise it's a downside, but who knows, maybe merchants are still at lost as to how accepting bitcoin will benefit them, (i.e increasing customers).

I think we should look at benefits of Bitcoin for merchants, to increase the active circulation. For example, bitcoin is a cheaper alternative to debit- and creditcards as merchants have to pay less interchange fees. Therefore we should contribute as a community by helping merchants to implement this system in their store. Merchants could possibly attract customers by giving discounts for paying with Bitcoin. What is your idea for progressing adoption of Bitcoin?

I think it will be a long process. And unless someone big, like Amazon started to accept bitcoin as payment and set the precedence, it will be a difficult road for bitcoin to be even become one payment options.

6328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Khabib and Conor fines and suspensions on: February 07, 2019, 08:25:21 AM
$500K fine for a $2 million winning, it's a crazy amount of fine, the offense must be really serious.
We don't know how they arrive with that figure but I guess they should be more focus on the suspension,
they could increase the number of months rather than focusing on the monetary penalty.

I think that's the main reason why everyone is calling it unfair. Khabib doesn't make that kind of money and I reckon that's the biggest purse he got in his MMA career. So taking $500K is a very big deal for him and his team.

$500K  is a pretty huge amount considering the amount of money he makes is not that big, if he could make at least $25 or more
then maybe it's reasonable, but I don't know if that range is possible with UFC.

Exactly, that's what I'm trying to say, but the decision has been handed already and I don't think he can motion for a lesser fine.
6329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 07, 2019, 08:14:31 AM
The lakers chemistry must be horrible right now, half the players know they can end up being traded and Lebron already wants Luke Walton gone.  This doesn't surprise me, Lebron always calls the shots no matter what team he goes to.

Exactly, Lebron usually clashes with his coach and specially if he didn't like how the team is doing. So I'm not be surprised if he is calling the shots and he wanted Luke Walton out of the Lakers.

It's too bad though that it will took the toll on the young players in the current roster. Well it looks like the AD drama is over as Lakers already pulled out of the deal. So let's hope those young players will get over it and start to play good basketball again.
6330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: February 06, 2019, 02:28:48 PM
Damn why did i forget that occasion ,thanks for reminding me lol 😂

So it’s more obvious now about the agenda of that so called ‘accidental meetings’ in which happens twice this time .no wonder if next time they will be starting to throw words to each team specially to each other

Well Dana White is not a bad choice anyway 😜😜😜
And add someone from WWE to create a better story on what going to happen next.  Grin

No need to hire those guys to hype up the planned second encounter of Floyd and Manny. Their names are enough to make people wan't to see their next fight and buy PPV. However I am thinking that Floyd is really not interested for another fight. What he is looking for I guess are easy money like what happened last December in Tokyo. Fighting Manny will need 2-3 months of preparation. That means he needs to hire (invest) people to join his training camp.
I don't think Mayweather makes a lot of money from his last fight, we all know it's just an exhibition fight and the whole
world is not interested with that. Even if he had to invest in the rematch but he will surely get a net profit, it's not going to be 50-50 anyway
floyd will always demand a better share if the fight happens.

There are reports that Floyd did make $9 million in that fight against Tenshin. It might be a lot of money for him, but its a easy one.

Well, I still holding that the two will eventually fight because of this video https://www.instagram.com/p/BnvdWOphIoe/?taken-by=floydmayweather

Too tempting for Floyd to pass this one, 9 figure per day according to him.  Grin
6331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 06, 2019, 02:19:43 PM
I tried to google it but all of those articles and videos were outdated. One of the best crossovers and plays on the NBA history came from him together with Allen Iverson.
Even though I am not yet born when Carter and T-Mac are on its own primes I'm still amazed with their excellent performance during their times. One of the memorable plays of Carter that I can't forget (I alwayd watch gameplay highlights in youtube) is that when he dunk against a very tall player which come from a European team I think. On the other hand, T-Mac also got a good ball handling skills but for me Iverson was better because he can do acrobatic skills in the air unlike him Smiley.
Wow, imagine how long it was, when we are all been excite if which directions Iverson will go and how he will finish the attack, He played well
when he's still on its prime he lifted sixers to the final but sadly lost with the dominating Lakers, just  a glimpse of those old heroes who we idolized
after MJ announced his 2nd retirement.

But they did win game 1 that breaks the streak of Lakers that season. They're so dominating that time that they just stream roll everyone one without suffering any losses.

But then Iverson took over game 1 and surprises the Shaq and Kobe tandem. Anyways, they eventually lost that series and the start of Shaq-Kobe Lakers runs.

For everyone not yet born that time, you should look at how he breaks Tyron Lue (yes, who used to coach Lebron in Cleveland) ankle and then he steps over him, that was classic.

Exchange wallets? I don't trust them.

6333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ripple’s Xpring Becomes Part of Music and Tech Investment Group on: February 06, 2019, 04:30:02 AM
Ripple’s Xpring Becomes Part of Music and Tech Investment Group Spearheaded by Former President of Major Record Label

Quote
Ripple will lead the disruption of the music industry by pouring money into music/tech startups. According to Billboard, an investment group called Raised in Space Enterprises, which was founded by ex-BMG president Zach Katz, has announced a partnership with Ripple’s Xpring and Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings.

https://u.today/ripples-xpring-becomes-part-of-music-and-tech-investment-group-spearheaded-by-former-president-of

It looks like another good news for Ripple holders. It was reported that they have partnered with some influential people in the music industry. I guess this is a very welcoming news and it looks like Ripple is always one step of the game here and maybe that's the reason why they keep that second position behind Bitcoin for so long now.
6334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippines' PH Resorts Group gets regulatory nod for $350 million share offerin on: February 06, 2019, 04:18:26 AM
I thought that the current administration doesn't like gambling at all? Or are they contradicting themselves and trying to bring Philippines to rival its neigbor Macau?
I think what the government doesn't want is illegal gambling because its unregulated and the Government doesn't get anything from it unlike this casinos that are being built in different places in the Philippines, the government earns from it from start to operations like from permits (building permit, environmental permit, business permit) to build up to taxes from their daily earnings.

Exactly, the government is all in for the casino's to milk it with taxes and channel those money for government projects (roads, bridges, public utilities and even health care for the poor or rehabilitation center for drug addicts.) So we can't really blame them after all.

I think someone posted a link already for the positive effects of gambling in a nation so it's going to be captivating if Philippines turns out to be a safe haven for traditional casino's in Asia that could also bolstered online crypto gaming in that country as well.
6335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: About New Altcoin's on: February 05, 2019, 01:57:10 PM
I would say that majority of coins right now are just being used by manipulators for the classic "pump-and-dump" scheme. So it's really hard to trust any altcoins today specially those in the bottom of the food chain.

If I'm going to bet my money, I will still pick coins listed in the top 10, still safe but not prone to market manipulation as well. But it's hard to manipulate them as compare to coins in the bottom though, specially if they have been listed on a exchanges which is very shady.
6336  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should we call it a trend or a wave? Or something else? on: February 05, 2019, 01:52:43 PM
So basically last year was full of great ups and downs, but this years bitcoin doesn’t have that amazing news or the great interest from the people who doesn’t invest or doesn’t own, like last year my father came and asked me about btc (when it went higher than 10k$) but now it is just back to the normal state which is only interest from the holders.
So let me re ask my questions: Do you think it was just a trend? Or it is a wave that has ups and downs, and will come back again?
Or do you think it is just something normal to happen since people believed it is just a trend?

/discuss

It's called cycle. Right now we're obviously we're in the bearish one. 2018 was the start of this cycle, so there's a lot of ups and downs and then we stabilizes around the $6k-$6.5K levels however, it dramatically fall because of all the BCH drama. If we're going to look at it's past history, bitcoin works that's way, bullish/bearish cycles.
6337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another Major Company To Adopt Blockchain Solutions on: February 05, 2019, 01:47:12 PM
Blockchain technology has a lot of advantages and could really help lots of big companies manage their day-to-day data just like what the articles states.

Just imagine all the data is immutable and can't be tampered and companies easily make their business decisions, I'm sure a lot of companies not just in IT but all sectors could covered and be help by implementing blockchain solutions.
6338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 234: Whittaker vs Gastelum Prediction and Info Thread on: February 05, 2019, 01:37:54 PM
There's no doubt that Whittaker will be the huge favorite here. But this is a interesting and compelling matches. Robert as I remember broke his arms against the Romero fight so it will be a huge factor in this fight, this the hands heal already? This fight is still 50/50 specially that Gastelum doesn't need to cut weight which is one of his biggest obstacles. I wouldn't be surprised if Gastelum pull a surprise here.
6339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ready to Jump in Crypto. Again! (Looking for Advise) on: January 31, 2019, 07:40:04 AM
You can start buying bitcoins at low price ofcourse you can see it every minute if you want in coinmarketcap. So there's no reason to see about that it's up to you also for investing for big oppurtunity when the price get pump again.

Would it be stressful to look at the price every minute?

But I would have to agree that bitcoin is the best coins to put your hard earn money. Why? Because it's still the dominant coin and lots of investors are still talking about how the price could skyrocketed in the next year specially when the block halving happens in 2020.
6340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the Unsold Tokens? on: January 31, 2019, 07:30:47 AM
I am confused by the fact that many projects initially declare their intention to burn unsold tokens, but when it comes to this, it often happens that the team decides to leave the tokens at their disposal. This is unfair to investors because it greatly reduces the shares of other investors. I believe that this is unacceptable.

If this is the case then surely it's very shady for a project to not burn the supposedly tokens that are not bought, because it will dramatically affect the price of it. They should be call out, no matter what or who is the team behind, specially if it says on the white paper that it should be disposed in the appropriate time and manner.

But so far though, I haven't heard anything, but it doesn't mean that this is not being practiced by projects before. Again, call them out, open a scam accusations in this community and let them answer it.
