6341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Better Without China!!!!!!! on: October 18, 2017, 08:00:55 AM
it is time we proclaim to the whole world that Bitcoin can be better without the influence of China. We don't need China to make Bitcoin survive. By next year, all of these things can be history and maybe we should learned the hard lessons that China is just a big headache.

It is time for Bitcoin and the whole of cryptocurrency to move on without China. We can still survive without it and in fact there are many BIG companies right now who do not also have any presence in China. We should not be afraid that Bitcoin can die without China...in fact the opposite can be true.
yes it is better to bitcoin that china is left. because now we proof that although china is gone the bitcoin is alive and continue to rising up. because china is one of the dis agree about the bitcoin because they're economy will afraid to bitcoin. maybe next year if the china legal the bitcoin again it is only a become natural and not an big news because we survive without china.
China is one of the pioneer of bitcoin and because of china they made bitcoin famous and expensive because of the chinese people that uses bitcoin and make the price grow into unexpected prices of bitcoin. I believe that with or without china bitcoin can still go up but it is better to work and become successful with the country that ones help you to get into where you at.
6342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bitcoins taxable? on: October 18, 2017, 07:30:00 AM
I think you will be taxed when you sell your Bitcoins for other fiat. For example you bought 100 Bitcoin at $5 each and now they are worth a total of $560,000 then you will be taxed capital gain of your Bitcoins if you happen to sell all of your Bitcoin stash, otherwise you won't be taxed.
I don't think that you will be taxed even you will sell your bitcoin for the other type of currency because bitcoin is decentralized and taxing bitcoin is not covered in the law of the government so it is not that easy for bitcoin to get into taxing process because no one can dictate bitcoin because bitcoin is allergic to centralized people and it will still remain decentralized and even in the future, i can say that it will not get taxed.
6343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why some country still not legalized bitcoin ? on: October 18, 2017, 06:59:56 AM
Some of the country didn't legalized bitcoin because they are still not sure about the legitness of bitcoin and also the profitability of bitcoin because it is volatile and it is hard for them to earn money so if you are a government official of a country and you are concerned about the money of your people then you will not legalized bitcoin that fast because you need to make things sure before trying it.
6344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally Bitcoin is in the schools for students to explore on: October 18, 2017, 06:47:54 AM
I think this is a major breakthrough for teaching crypto courses in school.
Because i think when they know about bitcoin since they were at school, their knowledge and information will be more adequate about crypto currency.
I hope the countries of the world follow this as the Australian government.
The teachings of cryptocurrency in the schools will help them a lot to open their minds in finding opportunity like bitcoin have and if they will get interested in bitcoin because of the school teaching then i think that they can work in bitcoin as a sideline and they can earn money with bitcoin that will help them to support their selves in their studies.
6345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spreading Bitcoin on: October 18, 2017, 06:38:07 AM
Building a cyber cafe's where most of the people are going into everyday because of the use of technology and internet that they need to finish their works easily. Spreading bitcoin can be any form of strategy and even if you will just post something in social media then it will help other people to know bitcoin and i think it is a bit hassle for convincing the cyber cafe owners to know bitcoin or to use it because some of the people in the world are close minded while posting in social media will become easy and less hassle and also public to the majority of the netizens.
6346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: October 18, 2017, 06:22:59 AM
What is bitcoin for you? Is it a chance or a scheme to get rich? Or is it actually to keep your wealth to yourself.
What lead you into bitcoin world and what's keeping you here?

To me, BTC is just one of my MONEYs.  Cheesy Wink

Bitcoin for it was called a digital cryptocurrencys that you can covert into money.
So that you can use it for buying anything and use for invest of the campaign.
Bitcoin is the best thing that i have ever found in my life and because of bitcoin, it changes a lot of things in my life. Bitcoin is a great currency because you can convert it with fiat or vice versa and if you will put some money in bitcoin and use it to trading and other possible source of income then you can become successful in bitcoin without even expecting it.
6347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest In Bitcoin? on: October 18, 2017, 05:55:57 AM
It depends on your risk/reward ratio, how much you can expect from it and how much you can loss. Bitcoin has still huge potential of rise due to demand and supply gap. Day by day, supply is decreasing and demand is growing due to huge popularity now as many new investors are putting money in BTC and it is creating history by touching its new highs every month and this trend continue in future also.

Bitcoin is the best investment. But you know the process. You don't no the process you can't get the profit. First you learn the bitcoin process. It will know more profit for the future growth. It give the more information for improve your self. Bitcoin is the future currency. So you will invest it. Now day bitcoin is the legal it will use to counter you will use the bitcoin any where.
That is right, everyone that is just getting started in bitcoin needs a lot of time to study bitcoin so they will know the process on how to do things properly because if they will just invest their money in bitcoin without any basis or just being go with the flow then it will not make them a great investor and that is what the majority do so they are more into being a loser instead of being a winner.
6348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most common uses of Bitcoin? on: October 18, 2017, 05:41:50 AM
The most common thing that i use bitcoin is to just make money because that is why i am living in a great lifestyle because of bitcoin and i want to maintain it so i am working in bitcoin and i am using it to trading altcoins which is very easy for me and i can easily make at least half of a bitcoin every 2 weeks and i can do it because i worked hard in learning the basics of trading and the possible strategies that i can use to it.
6349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: October 18, 2017, 05:15:33 AM
I think Cash is better than bitcoin because we can easily use it on hand and without fees . There is no doubt about that bitcoin popularity is increasing day by day . Bitcoin is always Gain profits so this cause you told bitcoin is more better than money.

But the cash it cannot rise the value and it is correct it bot have fees for that ,In bitcoins if you can see at the market its always increase the value but if you withdraw on it they have fees.
It doesn't mean that the cash is not that important because these days, cash is still important even there is bitcoin because bitcoin will only help you to grow your money and to make you rich someday while cash is required to make things happen so you need to have them both and it is not necessary to compare them or to just stick with one of them.
6350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: October 17, 2017, 05:40:25 AM
Bitcoin is something radically new. Nothing like Bitcoin has been possible until now. I would go so far as to consider it sui generis; "in its own class".  This makes it important to understand what Bitcoin actually is before we try to describe it to others.

We're getting a good handle on the code, and of course on Bitcoin's function and utility, but what words should we use to describe Bitcoin itself? There has been some debate in other threads [mostly my doing] over how it is like/not like money, cash, dollars, etc. I'd like to start this thread by focusing on the term "money", and play Devil's avocate by asking for your best arguments that Bitcoin IS money.

My legal dictionary states "In usual and ordinary acceptation it [money] means gold, silver, or paper money, used as circulating medium of exchange, and does not embrace notes, bonds, evidences of debt, or other personal or real estate." [cites omitted]

Wikipedia says "Money is any object that is generally accepted as payment for goods and services and repayment of debts in a given country or socio-economic context. The main functions of money are distinguished as: a medium of exchange; a unit of account; a store of value; and, occasionally, a standard of deferred payment." [cited omitted]

Webster's Online Dictionary defines money as:
    • 1. The most common medium of exchange; functions as legal tender; "we tried to collect the money he owed us".
    • 2. Wealth reckoned in terms of money; "all his money is in real estate".
    • 3. The official currency issued by a government or national bank; "he changed his money into francs".
    • 4. A piece of metal, as gold, silver, copper, etc., coined, or stamped, and issued by the sovereign authority as a medium of exchange in financial transactions between citizens and with government; also, any number of such pieces; coin.
    • 5. Any written or stamped promise, certificate, or order, as a government note, a bank note, a certificate of deposit, etc., which is payable in standard coined money and is lawfully current in lieu of it; in a comprehensive sense, any currency usually and lawfully employed in buying and selling.
    • 6. In general, wealth; property; as, he has much money in land, or in stocks; to make, or lose, money.
    [links omitted]
    [/list]

I maintain that per these definitions, Bitcoin cannot possibly be described as "money". And further, I think that those who do describe Bitcoin as "money" are doing this community a disservice.

But that is just my point of view. Are there any that can convincingly argue otherwise, that Bitcoin IS money?

yes it is money instead on virtualworld which can be cash out into real paper
    money
The only difference of bitcoin in some form of money is, bitcoin is a virtual money and you can just earn it online and the best thing right here, is you can earn it and cash it out in the form of fiat where you can spend it to the malls or stores that you know and buy the things that you really want because you can now afford them all. Bitcoin is also an investment and that is why i prefer bitcoin over fiat.
6351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: October 17, 2017, 05:26:28 AM
Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.
it would be a must course in exploring bitcoin in college because it can help those students independently
I think it is not really necessary to have bitcoin in college because bitcoin is not required or hard to learn because even though you are a college person and you want to study bitcoin or learn how to earn money from it then it is not that hard to learn it by yourself because the internet is your friend and if you know how to use it then you can fully understand bitcoin with an ease and no problem.
6352  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: October 17, 2017, 05:15:54 AM
bitcoin is five years time in my opinion there will be a lot of hard forks from the original bitcoin blockchain and the value of bitcoin would increase by 300 percent today's price. if transaction's speed and price remains the same, bitcoin's not improving and maybe the price wont grow that much
for the next 5 years bitcoin will be increasingly known by many people and will be traded by many people too, but the price will be more stable and unlike now

what is the meaning of "stable" you are talking about? stagnant like fiat?

bitcoin prices will continue to skyrocket in the next 5 years, but the challenge will emerge from the government, I'm sure they will not easily accept bitcoin and try to fight with the use of crypto e-Fiat algorithm according to their respective country, the next 5 years will appear many things which we never thought of before, I think bitcoin will still exist even though many emerging competent competitors.
It is either the government will get into bitcoin or other cryptocurrency for working together or they will completely ban the cryptocurrencies and just stick with fiat and promote the fiat as a better option in doing transactions. 5 years is still a long way to go for cryptocurrencies and i believe that it has a higher chance to work together with the fiat system rather than getting disposed.
6353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia banning BTC? on: October 17, 2017, 05:04:05 AM
They did not ban bitcoin, they only prohibit to exchange bitcoin to their fiat money. You can still own bitcoin even if you live in Russia. I believe they will soon accept bitcoin once almost every nation accept bitcoin.
I think the Russia is just trying to regulate the bitcoin and they are not banning bitcoin because if they ban bitcoin then you will see the results in the price like what happened in china, when they banned bitcoin then they easily make the price dump and right now you cannot see any dumps in bitcoin so the banning in bitcoin in Russia is not true.
6354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: October 17, 2017, 04:51:08 AM
i see bitcoin becoming the mobile electronic wallet just like every other person carries his or her wallet in his or her pocket. it just a matter of time, it still will be.
I think this is already happening for some countries even here in my country I known a lot of people that is using bitcoin as their wallet or even treat bitcoin as their bank because they know that their money can easily profit if they put it in bitcoin instead in the bank.
I agree with you, that is what is happening in most of the countries right now and i will not deny that most of the people that i know are now converted into bitcoin user because they finally realized the profitability of bitcoin that can make them rich in a shorter period of time rather than sticking to their job and just putting their money in banks which is not worth it.
6355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: October 17, 2017, 04:30:45 AM
For me yes, bitcoin is better than gold in terms of value. Even though bitcoin is volatile atleast the price is increasing by day. Honestly I never tried buying or investing in gold even before when it was very popular because I don't have the fund thats why Im so thankful that bitcoin was created. Its more worth it to invest in bitcoin IMHO.
If you will invest your money then you should have a balance nature of your investment and gold and bitcoin are the best option for that balance. Yes, we all know that bitcoin is a good investment because of its volatility that can help us to earn money easily but there is also a risk and that is why you will have an investment in gold that will serve as a back up so if bitcoin will goes wrong then you can have a back up investment and that is gold, so get them both.
6356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: October 17, 2017, 04:16:26 AM
I will do everything I can to collect bitcoin, I can buy it and look for it for free through bounty, and I can trade and invest in ico and altcoin, even though investing has a lot of risk
If you can work in bounty campaigns, signature campaigns and so on. You can easily get bitcoins there if you have patience and if you are really determined to get bitcoins or collect it then you can actually make a lot of bitcoin without using your money and you can grow it into trading or investments that will help you to become successful.
6357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: October 17, 2017, 04:01:00 AM
Don't invest your btc any area. You must to know how web site/firm function just before you commit to them. Several hyip/ponzi was ripped off at the finish, i suggest to you dont commit but use your btc for trading.Â
That is what the investors should think, they should research first about the investment or the prospects that they know for investment. If they really want to be secure then that is the most applicable thing to do and it doesn't matter if they will need to do it for a long time because that is a very worth it decision to do that will give them comfortable feeling when they will invest their money.
6358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long bitcoin will survive ? on: October 17, 2017, 03:45:13 AM
Bitcoin can survive if bitcoin is still received as a medium of payment, although not all countries accept it. But bitcoin is one of the coins that keep on rush to have it
If bitcoin will become a mode of payment then it is very possible for bitcoin to stay for long because knowing that bitcoin is a source of income and also a mode of payment then people will like it and they will use bitcoin and take that advantage and the life of bitcoin will become longer and there will be no problem for the life span unless bitcoin will have some big problems on itself.
6359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: October 17, 2017, 01:36:37 AM
For me, bitcoin is another form of money. You earn it, you spend it. But because it increases its value very rapidly, I also consider it as a good investment. My opinion on bitcoin now is very different when I first heard of it. I thought it was just another scam at first but a lot has changed since then.
I consider bitcoin as a mandatory thing for me that I have to deal with everyday because it is something that helps me to earn extra income that I can used for my schooling of for my everyday needs. But also like a form of investment because the value of your btc grows through time and also earns interest in the long run that makes it higher in value.
I agree with you, i also treat bitcoin as my full time job because i don't have a stable job or regular job that i can do to earn money but just bitcoin. Even though it is sad for some of the people that are around me, it is a good thing for me because i can earn money without having too much time to deal with and i can earn more money in bitcoin than to a rate of a salary.
6360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: October 17, 2017, 01:25:24 AM
I have heard that bitcoin is not supported in some countries. But why ? Is it because bitcoin is risky ? Some countries even declare 6 months jail if her people use bitcoin. Is it fair ? I mined few cryptos and have left mining. It was fun and challenging too. But I never got any clear answer. What does my gpu actually do ? I pay electric bill, my room temperature goes high and I get paid. With actually no skill on pc hardware and software. Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me
Because of the laws that is why many country can't accept bitcoin also the government, it seems that they will really oppose to the idea of bitcoin because I think they will lose their power once bitcoin is fully accepted in their country.
Some of the countries doesn't accept bitcoin is not just always about the power that they will have to be lessen, it is also the competition and the threat that bitcoin might be the most used currency instead the national currency or the fiat money in a country and that is why the governments are regulating it and they are trying to minimize the possible domination of bitcoin in their country.
