I believe that a huge portion of the the crypto community are still young college students that don't have any necessities that need another source of income aside from their scholarships / the money they are getting from their parents .
And apart from spending their cryptos on either betting or purchasing goods/video games from online markets , many of these students didn't make plans for what they'll do with their coins in the future.
I myself have had many thoughts about hodling and launching a business as soon as i graduate with the coins in my possession , yet i'm not exactly sure what i'll be doing ..

I think some of those people are not know the true essense and importance of crypto to their life which is so big mistake because they wasted the opportunities and benefits that crypto could gives to them. If that would have been easy then it could have been already being followed everywhere. But its not! Merchants fear because they have to track the sales, earnings, pay taxes and much more. There is no provision for this purpose yet and thats why they might not just accept it so easily. For customers it gets difficult to wait in the coffee shop until they get sufficient confirmation of the bitcoin process. So there are not single but many problems in using this currency. Until the time we dont see huge set up for this then we cant see any progress as whole really.
You are absolutely correct! It is hassle free if we just need our cellphone, the internet connection but as to the proces it might take time. There are just things in this world that crypto currency will not make it easier, just like what you said, purchasing a coffee, or anything that can be quickly done with our fiat money. This person is a Chinese and he is from CHina. Though the Chinese government is not allowing the use of cryptocurrency and ICO in China but the market have not slowed down. According also to the article I cited the exchanges have relocated around countries surrounding China and trading still occured through OTC trades. Well, this all means that even if our own country's will really banned btc and other crypto it will be worth less because I believed that if the people are really wanted and eagerly to adapt bitcoin in their lives well, nobody can stop them even if their government. For me, even we are experiencing now a moderately decreasing, I think that in the end there will we a bullish run happen before 2018 will end. Well it depends on how the government look at crypto, crypto was meant as currency but in reality more people are using it as assets, so when the government state crypto as asset it is not a wrong judgement, but I believe it should be treated as currency because the main purpose of crypto being created was as currency, for me taxing crypto is not a problem but the government should go easy on the tax percentage

I do use diversify. I invest for just 1-3 different coins at the same time, so even if one of them will crash there are still other coins that I'm holding has the opportunity to be rising up and giving me a profit in the near future. I can consider as a safest way for my investment. However, the decreasing of bitcoin value is literally a normal things of it's volatility. It is also a usual part of it's fluctuation where in after a bull run or normal rising up there will be a downfall season or decreasing value so nothing is really need to worry for that kind of situations. |

Yes bitcoin's volatility prevents mass adoptions woldwide. Lets take this situation, a company X gives salary to the employees in bitcoin and suddenly the price of bitcoin increases and after few days it decreases again. It will be a huge loss for the company and what is the reason? Volatility.
In my opinion, bitcoin can be adopted but not a mass adoption because volatility is preventing it.
I think you have a point. It is so hard to all companies that they giving salary in bitcoin mode because it's absolutely btc has no stable value. However, in a long run, I think it is possible that the peoples salary still can be fiat currency therefore the company will do pay the exact value and payment to their employees.
