6361  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Signature Campaign on: May 29, 2020, 01:15:22 PM
Updated the signature too. Actually I like the ambiance and color combination of the previous signature with this hat. But since we need to update our signature, everyone should follow this protocol set by our Manager.

But if given chance to retain the previous sig code for Hero I will retain it cause it really compliment with this hat avatar. Anyway the new design is cool too and slightly more darker.

Good job with this signature design @SFR10

Nice comparison and observation it @Coolcryptovator

I gotta say Ive enjoyed the game. Some questions are interesting but some like what other's noticed have some wrong answer like the longest campaign, actually I answered Chipmixer but when I browse some comments then i checked it should be the 777coin.

Beginners luck! Cheesy actually I wanted more it will test our knowledge on what we know on forum. I assume you will add more questions. Probably many will volunteer to help and contribute with this.

I often noticed you on our Local boards and I must say your a good poster. Seen some of your posts there, keep it up mate. Were all looking forward for more update of this game you created.

Snip
Found an old topic regarding 2fa implementation and discussion here.
2FA for more security in bitcointalk forum

Also quoting this nice response from @hilariousandco about additional security:

It's coming with the new forum:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=523070.0

In addition to normal password authentication, the forum should support various kinds of of alternative authentication. At least password auth, email verification, secret questions, OpenID, PGP, OpenVPN (automatic creation of subnets + IP source verification), and Bitcoin address signing should be supported, with multiple allowable credentials for each auth type. Users should have the option of requiring any combination of these auth types. Like "pgp OR (password AND OpenID)". And users should be able to require that changes to some or all auth types as well as the required combination of types not take effect for some configurable number of days. This allows for different types of recovery methods.

Also, it should be possible to limit the access for each auth type. So one type might be able to only read, but not post, etc. If the Web interface uses the same API that is exposed publicly, then these permissions can be in the form of allowed API commands.

Used search function first about topic before posting cause answers that you need might have been suggested before OP.

I really thought that this project is affiliated to trustwallet due to name similarities. I will download the wallet later on and try it. By the way how does cashback and affiliate program works? Is there some sort of rewards or any rebates when we deposit funds or manage to have some invites. Can you expound or share to us the benefits.

Also will you introduced an exchange token for trustee wallet like most crypto exchange such as Binance, and Kucoin?
6368  Other / Meta / Re: Are there still size limits on image posting on: May 28, 2020, 05:58:22 AM
Is there still a size limit to announcement images? I read it was 2.5 mb per image but is that still true?
Yes you are right. 2.5mb is the maximum size for image in order your post to be display on forum. I think its also applicable even to announcement images.

Check images on the announcement pages. Usually it is lower than 2.5mb, even its dimensions has bigger display.

use this code to change the dimension of your image.

6369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Overview List of Exchangeable Bounty Campaign on: May 28, 2020, 05:09:09 AM
This new campaign by Ludena Protocol has a 24 eth budget. For me its a good deal for a campaign. It is handled by Bounty Detective which was proven paid all his previous projects. Unfortunately we cant have some LDN tokens and it seem they want to preserve the value of their tokens so they instead pay on ethereum.

Hello there OP, how about this project quoted it from my list of good bounty thread. It is paying eth, so this is a good choice. Cant see it added yet on your list.
6370  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Information] Online Job Websites about Crypto and that pays in Crypto on: May 28, 2020, 04:58:43 AM
Is the Bitcointalk forum belongs to that list?
Since OP listed those platform mainly created for job hunts, forum is excluded. As @Maus0728 explained accurately.

Very good information. For those people who have skills and affiliated into crypto, these platform can boost them up aside from airdrops and bounty these are the real work that users must have focus on.

Also OP, this is a new platform https://www.ispolink.com
it focuses on jobs that involved cryptocurrency too, I just seen they have a partnership with matic so this could be a legit platform services. Hope you can review them. Thank you.

What is AMA(Ask Me Anything)

AMA - Ask me anything refers to actions where individuals of certain profession (eg. fireman, nurse, journalists) or company (eg. CEO of Tesla) conduct a session for users to ask them questions. It is usually done on Reddit’s Ask me Anything (r/AmA) subreddit, but can also be done in any specific chatrooms/subreddits.

Aside from airdrop and bounty this is a good way to learn little bit of knowledge about cryptocurrency projects agenda, plan, or any technical development on different altcoin projects

Benefits of AMA:

  • Allow users to participate on the discussion and to raise some technical inquries and questions
  • Hear some thoughts, analysis by developers
  • Learn new update on your favorite altcoin projects
  • Given us opportunity to learn and of course earn rewards by showing our intellectual knowledge on different altcoins.

I like to open up a thread where I can share some good AMAs that has been conducted globally and also this is open for other users to share their discovered AMA however you must follow the rules set on this thread.

Kindly Follow the format of AMA SUBMISSIONS for a clean and neat information.

Code:
[b]AMA Project name:[/b]
[b]AMA Host:[/b]
[b]Venue of AMA:[/b]
[b]Time and Date:[/b]
[b]Post where you see the announcement:[/b]

Local Rule:
  • No spamming
  • Strictly follow the format if you are planning to submit a known AMA, local AMA is allowed
  • English post only
  • No referral links
  • No newbie/brand new accounts are allowed to post

I'll make this thread self moderated for quick action on spammers. This is a mega thread so I expect dozen of users will spam nonsense. Thanks @ryzaadit for reminding me on my other thread.

DISCLAIMER: Im not affiliated on any Host of AMAs that will be posted here. Just own decision to share these to the community.
6374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Campaigns in the Altcoin sections to join. Dont waste your time with others on: May 27, 2020, 11:52:21 AM
By today's estimate 24 ETH will mean 24 X 205 = $4,920. That's a very small pool to be shared among participants spread across more than two months. It's not a good deal.
Hello I am actually expecting token payments for this good project, but having 24 eth is already lucky cause it has already have value and could increase in due time 2months is long way we dont know what could it be its price during the time the campaign done. Also isnt it much better than token pegged on their ICO price that dont have actual value yet?

I don't understand what OP means by, "It is handled by Bounty Detective which was proven paid all his previous projects because I have participated in some of their bounties but haven't got paid. Even some of their bounties later asking hunters to go through a KYC involving submitting utility bills in addition to ID. This is very appalling.
From what I heard and see, mostly od their campaign has been paid. But Im not sure if all have gotten paid, since you mentioned you did joined and not received your reward, can you tell me which project did you participated? KYC is on the discretion of every project, no one force to join on that campaigns, ( I dont even like it but some enforce it so we cant really do a thing about that). If you havent paid on his past campaign, you should open up a thread on scam or reputation section, but if thr case is the project doesnt materialized but you received payment, then its a different story.

I just want to ask you for consultation in buying this token since you are great in selecting good campaigns. This was already ended and I want just to participate with their listing. Is OLCF a good project? A million thanks in advance if you answer this.
Hello by any chance you are referring to OLCF as Olportal handled by Wapinter? For me its not as good as they say, also its a big red flag for me, if a certain project have an early announcement on potential listing on Big Exchanges. Its like they are so sure that they will be, but some of the previous I know doing this havent materialized and end up failing.

Also found this thread of complained for this project. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5251354.0

Also its one of the reason why its not included on my list and they dont also have signature category. Investment wise not really a good choice for me. But who knows right? Just my own opinion. Maybe there's a miracle  Grin

6376  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner Traders Should Follow This To Be An Experienced Trader on: May 27, 2020, 07:41:45 AM
It's not easy to become "experienced", just because you traded a lot doesn't mean that you will get better at it. People even might start losing money when they get more experienced, because they start getting cocky.
That's right. Even professional traders that has a lot of experience still lose a lot on trading, so its not really recommendable for someone whose trying out his luck to gain fortune. But there is a saying experience teaches you better, some cope with it, but the problem is many have become greedy and overconfidence resulting on their huge losses. Discipline is important when doing trading, learn to leave if you hit what your target profit. Wanting more and more could end up in losing instead winning.
6377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Choice To Stay Longer Online Or Casinos on: May 27, 2020, 07:22:39 AM
Where do you play longer hours online casinos or casinos?
Not so fond of losing on casinos but I like the perks of in house accomodation they giving their clients. Been there and I can say the ambiance is much preferable than doing some online casinos/gambling sites. Actually we will have plenty of different response here cause everybody have their own preference, but I like the thought of playing longer hours outside, if its not only due to this covid situation, Im already playing on my favorite E-bingo shops. Its also like other casino but sort of electronic type of gambling.

But as of now, I had no choice, so I am using online platform, Im currently playing at coindragon platform.
6378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: (Serious Question) Is Bitcoin Doomed to be Centralized by China? on: May 27, 2020, 06:00:34 AM
For me BTC will never be centralized. Yes mostly miners coming from Chinese but you expect they will have some sort of coupdetat due to current situation? Hash rate will decrease in due time I believe its not forever like this.

Dont compared the case of BCH, the owner of that project is beyond a typical crypto enthusiast, and he preferred BCH to be more like a centralized ecosystem. Roger Ver is a wise but coward for implementing a selfish 12% mining tax.
6379  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scamming with BOUNTY DETECTIVE name on: May 27, 2020, 05:21:36 AM
My question here is:
1. Are scammers really welcomed in the forum to stay for long.
Answer to this is obvious and not even tolerated for long having some evidence and proof that he did scammed or planning a scam activity like this.

2. Other than having a RT (red trust) as a penalty, is there no other ways this scammers issues can be addressed for them not to return to the forum again.
If the person have red tagged already then everyone will be alerted not make any transaction or deal. Scammer as @Jawhead999 mentioned arent not moderated but you can always report to moderator any sort of activity he does that sound suspicious.

He is indeed using Bounty Detective format on Bounty, Im not sure if this can be flagged as plagiarism more likely not.

6380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ludena Protocol | Rewarded Gaming Platform | 3 Million Users | AIRDROP on: May 27, 2020, 05:02:43 AM
Our Bounty is now live Smiley We are giving away both Ethereum and LDN tokens to participants so check out our bounty thread!
Hello I scanned your Bounty program but can you clarify if the rewards are really both consists of ethereum and LDN tokens check this out:

2. 24 ETH rewards are to be divided according to the stakes accumulated amongst selected participants.

Its stated that the campaign has only ethereum reward for the bounty. Maybe what you meant is you also giving away ldn tokens through your airdrop campaign. Cause obviously there is no statement there that the rewards are with ldn tokens too. Care to clarify? If what you said is true then you should rectify the post there on your bounty thread. Or you just mistakenly mentioned this instead of bounty it should be airdrop? Thanks for your postive feedback.

Ive joined your airdrop program since the platform has working product and I believe you have potential platform.
