Hitting and holding $4k will be a huge victory but nothing will be easy after that either. I have previously said it will take until December for us to reach and hold $6k and we will have to fight every step of the way. This will be a war of attrition and accumulation. It will not be pretty but it will be upward on average. $4K or $6K by Decemeber 2019,the price will reach new heights on the next halving so we need to ready for the another bull run before end of 2020. Am I right? New ATHs have not come before or even at the time of the halvenings, but several months (and maybe even more than a year afterwards). I doubt that this upcoming May 2020 halvening is going to be much different in that regard. There is a kind of expectation that the halvening should be "priced in" because it is a known event, and should even really be a known dynamic; however, there seems to be so much god damned stupidity out there, not only in terms of so called smart-money, but also the population and even the spreading of opposite FUD. So there continues to be a dynamic of ongoing attempts to manipulate BTC prices as low as possible and for as long as possible (which I suppose could be considered kind of smart in and of itself for the smarter bearwhales to accumulate BTC); but such strenuous downward BTC manipulation tendencies has tended to exacerbate pushing the price way below value and then a subsequent violent and seemingly unrealistic reaction in the opposite direction causing FOMO, pumping and just upwards price movements beyond anything close to reasonable. Of course, I am always receptive to possibilities that history is not going to repeat itself, but ironically, with the passage of time, we are likely going to find ourselves experiencing a similar pattern as the historical ones. The longer term BTC HODLers will continue to b surprised while at the same time NOT being overly surprised, while at the same time we won't be as surprised as the folks who are way newer to the market who will be exacerbating the FOMO, including the previous BTC no coiners and BTC naysayers who will likely be more surprised than long term BTC HODLers because they will be buying on the way up.. and long term HODLers will be continuing to struggle with some dilemma regarding when exactly to sell, and how much to sell, if any. I hope the expectation of next halvening will make some impact on the investors who are waiting long for the right time to come. Just start speculating it and it will bring some highs.Hopefully. #MotivationalMonday  |

Most possible explanation:
User registered on Sept 2017 become full Member on January (It is possible also , if he did not missed any activity period.) He put on Avatar after becoming full Member and user got demoted to Member rank because some of post deleted , bringing down the activity.In meantime Theymos implemented Merit system before the user can regain that lost activity.
I guess this user in reality is stuck with unwanted Avatar.
If they were got full member rank while the implementation of merit system they got 100 merits no matter of what,and no possible way to demerit the users unless admins did it. Most possible this is this account maybe under control of admin I guess. |

It will probably take a least a year after the halvening for the price to fully respond to the supply side shock. So 2021 not 2020. New ATH at the very end of 2020 if we are lucky.

Or may be he got demoted from full member to member but still can able to wear avatar.
No possibility for this,even if the user who was at full member deleted all his posts anf got demoted in his rank will never lose any merit so this is something strange happening here. |

Consider the advice, but I'm not talking about: (possibly) I talk about mistakes and avoid, with the aim of reading the existing forum rules, to refrain from doing or breaking the rules, can be banned.it's up to him to read or not it's someone's risk, I'm just giving information and complaining. When we have the guidelines sticked by moderators,why we need something new guideline? I think you should collect all the sticky thread and make a thread about it on beginners which is the section for newbie,normally people visit meta after they got banned so no use for this if it is to be here. |

In the meanwhile time he was not active in this forum,anything may happened to him like he lost all his savings on bets or to the borrower who got never paid or whatever the reason maybe.For that calling him as a scammer is not appropriate until he did that.He is in need of money looks like because he only asked for loans on his recent posts.
I suggest you to not to give any loans for him until the already lend money gets repaid,because he might not be able to repay them in my guess.
He is not posting anything except asking loan, which refers to something wrong too. His recent days passing only by asking loan. No legit user take loan such a way where the first small amount then increases the amount. If you can find out 100 people like this then you may find out at least 95% loan default. After looking at the post history and password change lot,the account might changed hands on 2018 or in Feb 2019,so as you said this may be an act of big scam attempt but tagging an user based on suspicious is not a right way. Might need more suggestions from other DT members. |
