6361  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin goes down to $200 this week? on: December 13, 2014, 08:45:58 PM
If the bitcoin price will drop to 200 $ , it is simple : you should buy  a lot of bitcoin . It is the best thing to do , the other thing is : eat a pizza and watch a film.
6362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I NEED HELP WITH TERMS LIKE IPO AND ICO on: December 13, 2014, 08:41:42 PM
There's also an ITO (initial token offering).

Suppose more new ones will be introduced to help people think they can skirt the law.

And also  ISO:

Initial share offer,

At the end it is always the same thing.
6363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin halving table on: December 13, 2014, 08:13:37 PM
..snip..

hmm so if they price  stays the same would it be profitable to mine at all?

I don't know , but maybe if you have a free electric energy (*plus an hardware machine at the correct price) it is always profitable. I think before the next block reward halving the price will rise a little up.
6364  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer Aeriys = BitBoy100 = DinoLao on: December 13, 2014, 08:09:29 PM
If he  has refused to use an escrow I think you didn't have to continue the deal, however  good luck with the police report.
6365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft is now accepting Bitcoin on: December 13, 2014, 07:30:12 PM
very interesting how this gets announced and the price doesn't really do much...

We may finally be beyond the point where every news event manipulates the price.

Now the next step  >> Bill gates should buy 1 mld dollars of  bitcoin .
6366  Other / Meta / Re: Questions for CanaryInTheMine on: December 13, 2014, 07:14:35 PM
.....
The problem is not with you. The problem is that he responded to you leaving him positive trust by adding you to his trust list. This made it so his trust rating was increased.

Can you honestly say that he would have added you to his trust list if you expressed reservations about him, havelock or ASICminer?

It is only a +1 point , come on guys. I've left him a positive feedback only because I trust him.  I've left the feedback after not before Wink.

*and I also want to add :

I've never participate to a groupBuy managed by CanaryInTheMine , so the problem doesn't exist.
6367  Other / Meta / Re: Questions for CanaryInTheMine on: December 13, 2014, 07:09:44 PM
....
I was pointing out a possible flaw in the current system.
Did he add you after or before you left the feedback?

It is not a flaw , I think we can send also a feedback without complete a deal.

...

I think this is clear trust padding on CanaryInTheMine's part. I have always had reservations about redsn0w, but would not go as far as to say he is planning any kind of long con, but would also probably take his trust reports with some level of a grain of salt. I don't think it is appropriate for him to be on default trust.

If he wants to make a scam report then he can open a scam accusation, like I am sure he knows how to properly do. IMO this really should be the way to stop a scam in it's tracks as it is a way to give much more evidence and public discussion about a potential scam

Are you serious ? All this story only for a trust feedback to a reputable user ?
6368  Other / Meta / Re: Questions for CanaryInTheMine on: December 13, 2014, 07:02:40 PM
Its a self feedback loop which is increasing CanaryInTheMine's trust rating.

For instance, redsn0w sent a positive rating today

Quote
CanaryInTheMine 150: -0 / +331(331)   2014-12-13   0.00000000
I trust CanaryInTheMine , he is an honest an reputable user!

CanaryInTheMine added redsn0w to his list which resulted in another trusted feedback for him. I think this is a flaw in the trust system which leads one level 1 member to improve his trust rating.

What is the problem if I trust him ? I've left him the feedback only because he's an honest person.

I've reported him with the  correct function.

6373  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: December 13, 2014, 02:33:10 PM
#marcotheminer,

another question :

Can you put the payment weekly or *maybe* better  bi-weekly?
6374  Economy / Economics / Re: Xbox news from 2017 on: December 13, 2014, 02:30:16 PM
source?

Me too , I was interested to see the source links.  Can we have the sources ?
News from 2017, it hasn't come out yet lolz...

So is it a creation from the OP  ?  However I think the price will rise...
6375  Other / Meta / Re: [REPORT] ~ Please *stop* this user on: December 13, 2014, 02:27:52 PM
I'd at least report it to the sig campaign to cut them off and provide his post history as evidence, not really worth it spamming the moderators if they're busy because they might get annoyed.

Ok , thanks .  DO you think he will be banned from that signature campaign or not ?

Sometimes users escape the net, I try and report them wherever I can but the mods are pretty busy on this forum but they might notice now you've made this thread, you could maybe PM them as well, despite having a signature campaign I always do my best not to spam like that and just post shitty one liners, you could also report him to the actual sig campaign as well and get him banned from that so he has no incentive any campaign that's worth it won't want to have their reputation ruined by some asshole trying to spam on their behalf.

Yeah you're right , but I thought a thread was  better than a pm.

6378  Other / Meta / Re: [REPORT] ~ Please *stop* this user on: December 13, 2014, 01:16:17 PM
As much as I wouldnt mind that account being banned (along with 329392 others), its not a solution.

The real problem is that people are getting paid for signature campaigns. As long as that is allowed, we will be flooded by nonsensical spammy posts from a bazillion alt accounts, contributing nothing to the forum and burying worthwhile post under a pile of garbage,  both to boost their post count and to increase their (per post) sig campaign payouts.
Your arguenrny is invalid in both this case and in others. In this case it is invalid because he is paid a fixed rate if he makes no posts or 1,000 posts.

In other cases your arguement is invalid because campaign operators have an incentive to stop spam because spam with their campaign is not effective advertising.

The op is probably right. I saw (and stopped at) 4 pages of nothing then one liners of useless posts

It is not a problem of the signature campaign *at least in this case*.

Thanks.

No problem , thanks for your work.

6380  Other / Meta / Re: [REPORT] ~ Please *stop* this user on: December 13, 2014, 12:13:28 PM
+1 for this. Almost all of his posts contain only one line maybe much lesser than that. The only problem is his posts can neither be counted as spams nor quality posts, somewhat between both.

Just want to know, is there any feature to report an account or are you reporting the account by reporting his posts?

   ~~MZ~~

I reported some his posts   with the function "Report to moderator" .

if someone posts small sentences doesn't mean they aren't to the point and not contributng to the conversation...although those posts dont meet that critera.

I don't know , I've seen some users that were banned and their latest posts are more constructive than his.
